Been here two different units for 5 years. They have up and downs. They help me move units no problem and allow me time with my weird schedule to move at my rate.But I also have been without AC for 5 weeks and counting in 100+ heat because an apartment wide malfunction (which base off the reviews seems to be true). Email and saw them in person to be told they reminded the maintenance guys but a week later I would be back again for a AC update. No timeline on when I get it back.The Laundry area is 24/7 which worked for when I work the graveyard shift and did clothes at 3am. But Card reader had many issues I brought up but never saw get fully fixed. So I just use a laundry service now.The area is safe with no crime that I can say I saw outright. My car hasnt been touched and no weird people lurking around its by a school and industrial area so pretty busy with normal traffic so always someone around.The Staff in person always wants to help me the best they can but its like every other Apartment place you will run into issues and if something breaks just have a backup plan.
Painted over Mold, Roaches, Garbage is always overflowing because there’s three buildings together and one dumpster for us! The washers are broken and don’t refund even trying. Maintenance takes forever it’s been a month for my request and plenty of calls (and I’m not a Karen). We pay full for all sinks to not even work the hot water. The gym is only open when they are, which is working hours for normal jobs :| Gates don’t work at all didn’t even receive anything for them because they don’t care to fix it. I know they don’t have money but the least they could do is respond to more maintenance and fix the basics as well as refund for the appliances that don’t work. Lastly the mail box for one of the buildings is broken so they can’t even get their mail like us others.
Would not suggest renting/living here one bit. They were super nice at the beginning and showed they cared but once the lease was sign everything went down hill. They have entered my property with a notice of inspection or entry illegally and no matter how much I report of harassment from the same man for MONTHS nothing has been done. Just got a threat from the very same man saying he would kill my dogs, I have filed a police report and contacting safee unit today for further action and will be looking into a new home where i actually feel safe and welcomed in. I dont even feel safe taking my dogs outside anymore and thats sad.
I’ve lived here a few years now and have been happy with the staff and property. The staff has always been kind and attentive. I love when they hold events for the residents. Always so fun and kid friendly as well. I haven’t had to call maintenance very much at all but when I do they are quick to respond. I’ve lived in a couple different units (upgraded to largest floor plan) and find them well prepared for move in. I’ve never had issues with neighbors. I find the location convenient to shopping and schools. It’s been a great experience!
At first everyone is nice and what not. First year was a good experience. Second has been meh. Stuff has broken down and I have to send several work orders and beg them to fix my stuff. Phones are never answered at the office. I can literally call every single weekday and no answer. I had a horrible experience trying to get rental assistance, they were rude and not helpful at all. Amnesties are never open when I try to use them yet the same family is always at the pool having bbqs. Someone tried to vandalize my mailbox and I went several times to the office so they could fix it, I had to fix it myself after a month of begging them. I’ve read several replies from staff “please give us a call” yet never answer the phone. Unfortunately I work during their working hours and can hardly get to the office in person. I’m a first time renter so I don’t know the process of ending my lease, I tried to apply somewhere else and when the called to verify the office spoke horrible of me saying I hadn’t paid the rent in so long yet I was never able to reach the office to notify them of a 3 day late payment, I literally had to send emails and messages on the app so they were aware. Just horrible communication and unhappy people with their jobs. Things are falling apart, drawers and cabinets aren’t aligned and don’t close properly. Bathroom sink and bathtub paint are peeling off. No assigned parking, I’ve had to park 3 buildings away.
Do not rent here at all! When I first moved in the previous office staff was amazing and very helpful but since the staff has changed the service is horrible. The office staff is never in the office we are told to call the Keller with any questions or concerns and no one answers the phones. I went last week to turn in some documents for rental assistance and two people that came after me were helped before me. The office lady even had her baby with her literally in her arms as she helped people thats very unprofessional. Awhile back our ac unit was leaking water which leads to a hole in our downstairs roof, a new light fixture was supposed to be replaced and four months later I’m still waiting for the new one. I get charged a pest control fee every month and have yet to see an exterminator anywhere around the complex. The gates are always open we get people from other apartments coming to swim the fitness gym was repaired opened for about two weeks then was closed again, we get homeless people hanging out by our living room Windows and in the washroom, just not a safe place to live and seems like they let just about anyone move in there. Overpriced and nothing as advertised, I just want to break my lease and move out already hurry up July!
We have seen many changes driving by on our way to work and school everyday. Mainly outside. We moved to be closer work recently. The staff made the move very simple and hassle free. We absoluteIy love our 1 bedroom. It has a great view. The pool looks very relaxing and cant wait until the summer. We really appreciate the office girls taking the time to set up our app. We only had 1 small issue upon move in but maintenance addressed it right away. Thank you. Thumbs up!
Do not rent here! My AC unit is old and breaks down several times a month. When trying to get help I have been disregarded, lied to and even hung up on. Staff member Avery is especially rude and uncooperative and the one that hung up on me.Air conditioning is a necessity in the San Antonio heat but not much of a concern for the Keller staff.Rent always goes up but basic services are disregarded.Still waiting for help!
Do not rent here. Got charged after moving out for fees that shouldn’t even exist. The entire time I lived there we had a roach infestation and they never went to fumigate!!! You are charged a pest control fee every month and not once did they go. Also, the gate is always open and staff is extremely rude. This place messed up my credit. Terrible place to rent, don’t do it!!!
It was a challenge looking for an apartment; but when I visited The Keller Apartments, I felt right at home. All the ladies in the office as well as the manager are extremely nice and caring. I moved in a couple of days ago and I absolutely love my place. Clean, new, and I have a great view of the city and pool. I am right at home! Great place!
Well after living here over a year I had to come n change my review. Apartments are renovated, but you can hear everything you’re upstairs neighbor is doing. everything is pretty new and they take care of the property I like how they have a 24/7gym well before COVID-19. The gates used to work which helped with theft but it’s been over a month that they have not worked. My vehicle was vandalized as well as my neighbors on different occasions. Aurora was really nice whenever I had an issue. But she doesn’t work here no more. So getting things done takes them a while. I live in the smallest unit which was an ok price but was not expecting my utilities bill to be so high. They charge way too much for the water and sewage! I pay an extra $80 just for utilities!! And you have to pay a fee to pay YOUR RENT online! They do not accept money orders or checks! They are overpriced for sure! Wish the apartment would look like their office.
The Keller was clutch when I needed to find a place to move into immediately. The office girls are effective, efficient and timely. But after the initial move in they showed their true colors. They never answered their phones and I couldnt use the amenities I was paying for at all. Bad communication and poor response time to maintenance requests. Decent place to live though.
My daughter lives here. While visiting her we went into the office on our way out to get her package. During conversation my daughter mentioned to the young ladies I would be selling my home. I was a little worried at first. I have not lived in an apartment for many many years. Amanda and Crystal were very helpful, and made me feel like they really cared about my situation. Amanda really took the time to give me the information on all the apartments. I just could not decide and really wanted a 2 bedroom. Very patient those girls. Since they didnt have any 2 bedrooms she offered to take me across the street to their sister apartments. She said those were newly renovated also. My daughter ended up taking me over. I am glad she did. Stephanie really made my day there. She knew that my concern was leaving my home. She said the townhome was the next best thing. She was right. I just fell in love with it. I will still be very close to my baby girl. Thank you all.
Crystal, Amanda, and Stephany were so helpful throughout the entire process, I dont know how I wouldve found such a nice apartment with out them! I couldnt have asked to find a better place or better leasing agents! The apartments are a great price for what you get!. Its very secure, plenty of BBQ pits, quiet and very nice people that Ive met in the community so far... & Not to mentioned their 3-layer pool!!! Cannot wait until summer. Overall I rate The Keller a 5/5 FORUSRE!
Let me start with how bad the maintenance is the worst place I’ve ever lived in . The management is nothing more than a joke started with the manager she’s a total B I T CH who will avoid all your calls and not do they’re job :) ! If you don’t like where you work then leave and that goes for the whole staff working there no one will ever answer the phone which is part of they’re job … IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ROACHES AND DIRTY WATER AND HOLES IN THE WALLS YOU FOUND YOUR DREAM HOME save yourself stress and money and find somewhere else
I have lived at the keller from Oct 2019 until October of 2020 originally this was a 5 star review and now its 1. The staff when i moved in was great. Helpful. Easy to work with no issues. A few months later new staff took over and screwed the place up then quickly used its because of covid as an excuse for anything that could go wrong instead of doing what was right. We had to constantly fight to have basic maintenance done to our place. There were posted signs to not leave dog poop but their grounds staff NEVER cleans it so there is dog poop all over the place. They could care less about the on site Laundromat. If you are very lucky it gets cleaned once a week. Most of all the current front desk worker Amanda I think is her name is hands down the rudest person ive dealt with at an apartment complex
I moved out in February. I went into office to discuss my transfer across the street. Everyone was new. I dealt with the new manager trying to get everything together. I was very upset and was very ugly to her. I felt very bad about it. She just sat there and listened to me. I was very embarrassed afterward. I went back later that day and apologized. I knew it wasnt her fault and felt terrible. She even gave me a hug and said she understood and didnt take what I did personally. The assistant walked my apartment with me for my move out. Very nice. Thank you for your understanding.
Moved here few months ago from nasty ole houston and it’s been awesome!!! as some of you know houston has a huge roach problem and it was really hard for me to live around that as i never had to deal with anything like that until i moved to houston. i was scared that i would have to deal with that again bc apartments can be very tricky. i’m happy to say i’ve only seen two in the few months i’ve been here. sometimes it’s unavoidable but they do everything to help you. it’s definitely not infested. go to bridgestone apartment in houston now that’s an infestation this is NOTHING near how bad apartments can be. my only complaint is my upstairs neighbor they’re loud but they have kids so it’s just something i deal with. amanda in the front is awesome! she will answer you rather is 2 pm or 2 am. I’m happy to call this place a home!!
Patty our consultant was a great deal of help when it came to finding our apartment. She is very considerate, understanding and most of all enthusiastic! Loved working with her to get our first apartment here in San Antonio, highly recommend working with Patty :) thanks again!
Immediately after moving in I had multiple leaks in my bathroom that took months to fix. I had to call the property owner just to get something done. New management came and suddenly I was being overcharged for rent until I had to remind them multiple times what my contract said. Water is insanely high here. Management is friendly though, I will say that. Now for the reason Im moving, my neighbor. Im on the second floor and since Day 1 I have had to hear every move my upstairs neighbor makes. Every day at 4 am he starts stomping around until 6am. He also smokes weed and it comes through the vent into my apartment. Its like we live together. Ive been miserable my whole year here. I told management multiple times about it and nothing was done. I had to start sleeping at a friends house just to get some sleep. I feel sorry for the next person that moves in because unless they can sleep through the pot smoking bigfoot upstairs, then theyre going to be just as miserable.
New management is super rude, 2-3 cats on EVERY FLOOR of EVERY building (see one run over one every month or two), gates are always broken(one night, I couldnt get in), and domestic disputes/cars getting broken into arent uncommon.At least the police department is close and fast to respond, which is nice.
Leaving 1 start because I have to. Thankfully I didn’t move into these apartments. I applied a month ago, never got approved the manager STILL accepted “my rent” since I would have moved in the 1st of July only to get to the apartment pick up my key FROM THE MANAGER & get a call maybe 25 mins later that I can not move in bc my application had not be approved. 3 weeks later, still haven’t got a call back from corporate that I’ve called & left message for TWICE & still haven’t received my check for money they should have never accepted KNOWING it was not approved. & apparently this place has “new management” & still they do not know how to do the job.
I definitely love The Keller’s apartments I just moved in on 07/17/2020 .I love everything on this property... Amanda is the sweet and really cool is the best landlord She will work with you if you really speak to her about the situation 😎 . I appreciate Everything she done for me and apartment complex . . When I moved here it was very nice at first but than everything start not working and leaking a lot and the apartment I use to live in was infested with roaches very very disgusting!! Especially having my daughter live there like that was very upsetting and the staffs don’t car to help at all !
Moved in the first day, about 7 to 8 hours after moving in woke up to BED BUGS in the bathroom on the sink!! Don’t be fooled take a flash light to the Smokey gray floors and what do you know dead and alive bed bugs everywhere!!! If you don’t believe this statement there are multiple cases filed again Keller apartments with the Health Inspector!
Worst place every to live once I moved out my credit got smashed like a pumpkin they have cats and deers all over the place leaving scratches and dents on your carThe parking lot is small so also be minded full of your neighbors cars I lived here for a year and it was the worst maintenance is terrible roaches and fleas are waiting to come in and so so much more I advise staying away from this place it’s not worth it at all
DONT LET THE NEW RENOVATIONS FOOL YOU! The water gets shut off all the time! TODAY THEY SHUT OFF MY WATER WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION AND I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SHOWER AND IM STILL WAITING 45 MIN LATER AND NOW IM LATE TO WORK. Also they stopped answering the phones! Cars get broken here all the time and most of these units have bed bugs! BEWARE!
I’ve been at the Keller for just a couple months now and I can say that it’s been a very good experience at this place. Really quiet , like I have nice neighbors everyone really sticks to themselves. Military friendly as well. Good location and friendly staff and always willing to help.
Since the new management team came in Ive had issues and no one has ever came by to fix them even once. They come across as nice for the most part, but i feel like they dont really care. I didnt have water in my sink for over month and had to fix it myself. Now my ac is out and was told they would come fix it but no one ever showed up. Not very ideal place to live when its 105+ degrees outside. Running all these fans at night has gotten me sick as well, but here I am still with no ac. Ive reached out to them multiple times and they usually tell me theyre working on it... For how long though? You wont know because they said dont give time frames on anything when i asked why no one showed up on the day they stated. The pool has been closed since before summer even started and rent is being raised $160. I cant recommend this place to anybody especially if you have pets,children, or any type of family.

2022-05-15The new staff is terrible at assisting residents. All they care about is getting new people to sign a lease for their own sales commissions.Ive lived here with my husband for a couple years now while our home is being built and have made plenty friends while living there. They cannot even get a single call back from the new office staff members. Three of my neighbor havent had ac for several days now with temperatures in the high 90s.. and unable to get proper assistance for fixing the issue. Ive spent plenty of time in the office over a period of 3 days, and while going over a new lease renewal, my husband and I witnessed how the staff members completely ignored the phone ringing and ringing. Id understand if staff was busy at the moment but all they were doing was sitting around, discussing their weekend plans.Like I said.. terrible staff members. Something needs to change before they get exposed on a higher platform.

2022-06-21I was looking forward to moving into the Keller this month and Im very glad that I asked to be shown the actual unit I would be moving into in addition to the model unit they show to everyone prior to signing my lease.The actual unit looked nothing like the model as far as quality/cleanliness - and to say there was a roach infestation is an understatement.I made a total of 4 visits to the property throughout the process and 3 out of the 4 times the pool water was a murky green color - nothing like the pictures on their website.I highly recommend you get a view of the actual unit you will be renting before coming here.Aside from this I was told my application fee would not be returned due to their policy - I would understand this if I backed out of the lease for a reason other than the fact that they wanted to rent me a nasty apartment - thats on them, not me.

2022-03-08Just moved in with my boyfriend here, the staff has been very professional and welcoming! Our studio is clean, the neighbors have been friendly and even helped us move in. So far so good, there has been clear communication between us and management if there are any problems in our lease or with our payments. I hope it stays good!

2022-03-01We signed a 15 month lease through those 15 months we have had 3 different people take over no one knows what they’re doing. Our air has went out as we were given a window unit it we had to keep calling to get them to fix it. Our refrigerator went out loosing $200 worth of groceries and nothing happened even though maintenance said they would fix it and haven’t! DO NOT MOVE IN HERE THEY WILL MAKE IT SOUND SWEET BUT DONT! Also we have children so definitely don’t!

2022-01-28Lived here for over 18 months. DO NOT LEASE OR LIVE HERE, for critical reasons:1-You will not have consistent access to clean water. 2-The office is incredibly non-responsive, even more so now that the property was sold to a new company. They rarely answer phone calls or emails. 3-Your privacy or your personal belongings will not be shown care or respect.Water turned off and then turned back on constantly at this property, twice already this month. I have called SAWS now, thanks to the residue coming out of my kitchen sink with the water being stirred up I guess? Faucet filter is now busted (for the second time) thanks to absolutely no warning about sudden plumbing maintenance for the building. Ive lived here for over a year and feels like I have not gone a single full month without water/plumbing issues. At one point, the entire building was offered another apartment to take SHOWERS in, because the water had to be off for so long. Gates have been open and broken for over a year.I renewed my lease here months ago (unfortunately) and REGRET it. Dont make the same mistake, or waste your money and time here!

2022-03-04Yea these apartments are rough I’m over paying for a studio apartment and they honestly won’t work with you even though you try to converse and explain what’s going on. Their response is oh ok that’s sounds like your kind of Issue this is a place you live and need to pay and are bringing up more fees making it impossible for me to keep up with my rent. Not renewing my lease. My restroom has mold. Been having Issues 6 months in gotten worse with new management. It’s only a studio that’s costing me $800 ridiculous smh I’m ready to go

2022-06-06Ive lived here for 2 weeks, and have maybe had running water for 2 days. Every single day it seems the water is shut off. I hate it here already. I had to take my toothbrush and toothpaste to work to be able to brush my teeth. Not the first time thats happened either.

2022-07-11I moved in feb of this year . The maintenance staff is horrible .The pool is always dirty . The amount I pay for these apartments aren’t even worth it . I lived on the 3 rd floor and I have the smallest unit for my ac . It is forever hot in my apartment. .

2022-06-18Our ac when out June 11 ... its been over one week with no ac not even a ac window unit dont move here they are horrible. They dont care about their residents. They only care about rent money nothing else . Dont move in no matter what . Run and protect your family and money . Temperature has been over 100 degrees. Dont move in here run. Run away worst place ever.

2022-03-23BUYER BEWARE- DO NOT MOVE HERE, Maintenance team is very disrespectful and complex is loaded with cats and even more possums and raccoons. To add ON to this review/ injury, Matt Serna from the front office was giving me resistance & grievance by inviting himself into a conversation and could not give me accurate information. Once I informed him for giving me 3 different answers he decided to escalate the conversation & push towards being aggressive.
