2022-02-11Im so disappointed that I could cry. I received a gift card to The Meridian Day Spa for Christmas of 2019. In January of 2020, I found out I was expecting my first child. I couldnt wait for my second trimester to begin so that I could use my card for a prenatal massage. Then the Covid shut down happened before my first trimester was over. Shut down was lifted but the spa did not open because they were moving locations. Today I spoke with a representative of the spa, which is under new ownership with a new name, who told me that the new spa will not be honoring gift cards that could not be used due to the shut down and the spa remaining closed. I understand that the new owners are making decisions that are best for their business. Nonetheless, I am dismayed that I wont have the opportunity to use a very sweet and thoughtful gift. A sad waste.
