The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center in other cities:
I was really impressed with this store. The merchandise were all nice items for very reasonable prices. I purchased a nice couch $50, a wall unit $20, and a nice radiant space heater $20. The staff was helpful and helped us load our items with a smile. Beautiful store, great selection.
Great store with excellent second hand items. They sell everything from forks to family size sofas! The prices are generous. We bought European bowls for just 99 cent each and salad bowl for $1.99. Worth to check items like sofa or chairs. They even sell bycycles and other sport items for less than $70. The stuff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended! You can find reeaallyy good and unique things for very pleasant prices.
Wednesdays they have 50% off all clothes. Good selection. Check out is very slow. I know the Salvation Army does a lot of good for people in need but I know they used to discriminate against LGBTQ families and I have not heard they have changed their policies so I cant rate them higher until they decide to support all families.
Thieves! Was charged by Maxine for three items that were never purchased. Store manager tried to pay me out of pocket. Not fair to him so I didnt take the money. I asked for the camera to be reviewed, no luck with that. Check your bag and recipes people they dont believe in honesty! My money should have been returned by the store and Maxine should have been told to Pay more Attention!!! Take what little people have and make excuses to not return my cash! Will never return again.
Some of the prices were inconsistent-when we tried to negotiate a fair price, the manager had an authoritarian attitude that made the visit so unpleasant. When we told her that other locations negotiated fair prices, the manager informed us that she would put a stop to it since she oversees the other locations. This left is with a bad impression of the organization. I thought the Bible said, they will know is by our love, not our authoritarian and unfair ways.
Their prices on audio equipment is flat out insulting. They seem to think theyve struck gold when they are sitting on a turd. Then other times you get a crazy deal on something they didnt know how to look up. They seem to think that theyre competing with eBay. At least Goodwill is nice enough to just put stuff on eBay without even giving us locals the chance to be insulted by their prices.
It is hard to rate Salvation Army as it is what it is the prices are consistant with the other Salvation Armys ( 50% off all clothing on wednesdays) and about the same size. The nice thing is all clothing is divided up by gender, then divided into shirts-> tanks, short sleeve, long sleeve, blouses ect. and by color (not by size) . You can find great deals if you take the time. They have a lot of clothes that are still New With Tags and at a really good price.

2022-05-02Furniture is horribly over priced for used. I bought a chair new for a lower price than what they were charging for a used chair that was exactly the same. Clothing is at a good price.

2021-03-31I typically enjoy my experience but there was a child in the store blowing a whistle as loud as they could to the point of causing me to get a headache and having to leave earlier then I wanted to. I expressed my concern to the cashier who only laughed about it. With this attitude Im sure they will lose some business.

2021-03-15The store is nice store that has good layout with stuff in sections. It has furniture in big area that includes some beds and dressers. Also they have couches and other seating. Good size sections of clothes that is separated into childrens, mens and womens. The store has some small appliances and bluray players. Some books and dvds but no bluray movies. They accept donations.

2021-01-02Made a quick trip to Salvation Army on Christmas Eve to find a bundt pan since mine went missing. Found one that was in pristine condition and very well made. Also was blessed by a customer in the store with a beautiful glass cake plate with glass covering. This store always have neat items for decent prices. Bundt pan cost was $3.99.

2019-03-13I love this store and loved working at it!! Staff is friendly and helpful and prices are so fair! (Complain about goodwill, I’m right). If the staples bother you, ask a cashier and they gladly will let you borrow a staple remover. Or they are $1 at the dollar tree. LOVEEEE THIS STORE! Say hi to Leonard and Julie for me. love them and their awesome personalities! ❤️❤️❤️
