Friendly and full of advice, but not great listeners. I needed two color copies and two documents notarized. I ended up with black and white copies and four documents notarized. I didnt argue because I was in a hurry and it was taking ages — another lady came in with a packet, waited a bit, got hers done and left while my guy was dawdling. Im going elsewhere today to get color copies of the two needlessly notarized black-and-whites.
HORRIBLE experience: I took my diploma in to get notarized in August. Rachel, a notary there, went to the scanner to make a copy and left my original in the machine. As I was distracted talking to someone else, I walked out without my original diploma. When I realized it wasnt with me the next day, I panicked and called them - I spoke to Sky and I was relieved bc he said it was there and he even sent me an email with a CC auth form so I could get it sent to me. Fast forward a few weeks later and when I called to get it sent to me, they said it wasnt there. What?! The manager Gideon and Rachel were SUPER unhelpful and never followed through (after I asked them to email me and keep me updated), and when I finally did speak to Sky about it he completed lied and said he never found it and that it wasnt there. So unprofessional!!! The least they couldve done was be honest and tell me they lost it or got rid of it on accident. Dont go here!
Man at front counter was very rude and not helpful at all, on top of that he made me feel dumb for even coming in the store. I have worked in customer service a very long time and one of my biggest pet peeves is rude employees, especially when I go out of my way to be overly nice. Please train your employee to be a little nicer and not belittle your customers. Even though this location is very convenient for me I will not be doing business here again.
While the staff was helpful I was charged for their mistakes and extra time it took because of it. I rarely give bad reviews and if I do its because I tried resolve my issue with the company before posting a bad review. I asked to get refunded and they ask what happened after I explained they never followed up even after I emailed 3 times asking what was going on. Terrible customer service I believe this location is privately owned.
We cane in carrying a VERY heavy TV, and about to spend a pretty penny getting it packaged and what not. One of the workers was doing something on the copy machine next to the door, and couldnt be bothered to help with the door or even let us know where to put it... shivelry and good customer service is a dying industry... smh
Use a different store. My mail was lost all the time here, people said they mailed things to address and it never arrived. Plus they are technologically out dated. Couldnt even accept credit card payments without a big hassle of scanning and faxing stuff to them. Who the heck has a fax machine now of days.

2022-06-23I need to give this UPS Store a positive shoutout as a mailbox customer for 11 years now. The staff is particular helpful and friendly which has made for zero issues in all the time I’ve utilized their services. Today, I was able to grab my mail, pickup packages, get something notarized and send back a DirectTV box which they handle to ship back. It’s so nice to take care of it all with a great crew in a single location. Oh yeah, I also renewed for another full year today so cheers to another year with this crew and location!

2020-08-25Dont come here for notary work. I called this store. Message says notary here all hours...no appt needed...nope, and when you push 0 the message repeats. When you get a person on the phone they say yes, I see a notary there till 6pm. At least the one on Riverside answered and said no notary. Brazos location sent me to 12th and Lavaca assuring me they had one...Nope. They left at 5pm. Now, its 6, been to 3 stores in an hour. And no notary. I know stuff is happening with Covid, but PLEASE can you keep your messages current?

2017-11-01I recently had some docs that required a Notary prior to having them Apostilled at the Secretary of State office 2-blocks away. John was the Notary at the UPS store and he was very particular when it came to things being legit. His bedside manner is somewhat akin to an IRS auditor but I have no issues with that. He made a mistake during the process and the Secretary Of States office refused the docs and said the notary process needed to be redone before they could proceed. I went back to the UPS Store, requested John, and he promptly redid the docs without any additional charge. To me, that was good customer service. I have no problem with someone making a mistake, acknowledging it, and then correcting it without additional charges. Thank you UPS for your service.

2019-07-02Today I went with my two little kids to this UPS store to have a document notarized. The clerk said he can’t do it. It was something that I have done there before so I asked why is it different now. He was rude and started saying to me that I’m yelling at him when actually he was yelling to me. He told me to leave the property and that he is the manager . I asked if I can speak to the owner and he said the owner is not available. I just wanted my document notarized and pay for it:)Anyways he called the police on me!! Really!! I called too. I never said anything bad to him. He was very obnoxious and arrogant.But the policeman was very nice and gave us a ride to the UPS on the 4th street in Hilton.Thank you officer .

2018-10-29The staff here was very rude and unhelpful. They told me they couldnt use my return label when it was the one I printed off of Amazon under the section print return label. I tried to use one of the computers to print off a new label but was having trouble figuring out where to find the correct label. I asked an employee for help and he told me, this is something you will have to figure out on your own. I left the store after that and wont be returning.

2017-08-24TERRIBLE SERVICE - USE A DIFFERENT STORE/LOCATION!!!!I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED THE BAD REVIEWS ON THIS PLACE BEFORE I USED THEIR SERVICE!I used their Apostille service. They shipped the doc back to me overnight via UPS but it did not arrive. Though they are UPS they claim that its not their problem because they are a franchise store and that my only course of action would be to call the national UPS number and seek a refund on the shipping cost. If I use any other merchant, that merchant takes responsibility for their own shipping and does not make me call the shipping company to resolve the lost package. Terrible Terrible service.

2019-02-13I was in a mad dash to ship my mom a Valentines Day package to Florida yesterday and the young black guy (sorry I didnt catch his name) in the store was a HUGE help. I was running late for work but he helped me get everything weighed and packaged in 5 minutes!! The cheapest option will get it there a day late but it was affordable and thr service was super quick. THANK YOU AGAIN!!

2017-09-07Went in to use notary services. John who notarized my document for use in another country was insistent that he was not required to sign on the line on my document not placing the seal on the line on the document. Even after requesting that as a courtesy would he mind doing so anyway. He refused again insisting that these other countries cant dictate what we do here since we are a separate entity. Well, then youre just going to show that Mexican government that they cant tell US what to do! . While per the Sec. of States office he is correct, he is not required to the only person who is potentially hurt by not doing this as a courtesy was me, the customer since Mexico is surprisingly picky on details in their legal documents (as Im learning). Well John if you arent required to sign, Im certainly not required to use your store to ship my document out of the country. You kept my $6 and lost on overnight shipping to Mexico. Well done. Keep standing your ground!
