UPDATED: This UPS location has become much better over the last 6 months. The wait is not nearly as long and is very comparable to other UPS stores. All of the Amazon returns have been regularly marked as returned for some time now. I regularly use this location now and recommend it - the employees are always very nice and respectful.Original review from 6 months ago:The employees are always very nice and respectful. This store is not managed well. I have observed the following problems occur:1) This location is understaffed. It typically takes significantly longer to get anything done here than the UPS on beach street.2) This location is not as dependable. None of the Amazon items that I returned via this location have been marked as delivered. In fact, the five Amazon items that I returned *at different days/times* over a month ago havent even been marked as leaving the store. This is a stark difference from the UPS location on beach street. The beach street location has marked *every single* Amazon item I returned as delivered. And I have returned a *significant* number of Amazon of items at the beach street location. Mind you, its no skin off my back - the sellers always have to refund the amount. However, I want to support the sellers on Amazon to keep Amazon going. It is important to me that all items are successfully returned and nothing goes missing. Im not sure if the status is just not being updated or what - but that uncertainty makes this location less dependable.Item #1 in the above list is just really annoying to me. Item #2 is the deal-breaker. Even though I literally live 3 minutes away, I will never use this location again. Im going to the dependable location on beach street.
I love going to this UPS Store to ship my packages. The traffic is a little busy at times, but i try to go as early as possible. The staff there is very helpful, friendly, and professional. The manager Cathie and Logan are very nice. I will continue to ship my packages there, i love their service. Great service, always in and out!!
My husband & I came in to UPS & notarize some documents. The staff was very professional and courteous. Ms. Cathie took Great care of us. She was very professional, thorough, & courteous as well. She ensured we got our documents filled out correctly and offered us incredibly convenient services in order to get our documents where they needed to be ASAP! Cathie and Sally (I believe that was her name) were very helpful and understanding throughout my whole return experience! I brought in a return that actually needed a label + box which was of course my fault on skimming my Amazon return label on my app.. Needless to say they helped me print it out in store and also recommended an reasonably priced package to ship it in. Prompt, professional, and seamless experience.Please remember this: The workers are ACTUAL people too (surprise, surprise!). Don’t get upset at them for your reading mistake if you find yourself in the same situation as I was.. They’re just trying to do their job, and trust me, it’s not their mission in life to slightly inconvenience your day.Thanks again!
I wish I had read the reviews on this location before shipping something here. My issue still hasnt been resolved. Cathy claims that she was just about to call me when I call for an actual update. I shipped out some pricey skincare for my nephew in AZ mid-February. It shouldve been there in 3 days. Early March, it had never arrived. So I check the tracking number and it says damaged. When I call, Sallie says that a forklift ran over my package and it was discarded. Yet nobody thought to reach out to notify me? Well, its a third party that transports your package, so I can file a claim if you have a receipt. We can only cover up to $100. Fast forward a couple of weeks, no response. I call and Sallie is on vacation. Last week, Cathy actually had the nerve to say well, if youd let me talk, I could tell you that we will be calling you next week to come and pick up your check. Who talks to a customer that way? I havent yelled at anyone or been disrespectful in any way, but Im extremely frustrated that Ive A. never received an apology for this happening and B. havent experienced ANYONE actually reaching out to me to fix it. Ive been the one contacting them the entire time. How disappointing. And no, I have not received my check yet. Im still waiting to be called. Not surprisingly, they are not affiliated with the Better Business Bureau.
This is the last time I go in this location the manger he was very rude and screaming to me with out reason and the supervisor she was not nice she said she wanna help me for the problem just she wanna tell the manger don’t do it again very bad customer service in this location and they broke my stuff and I bought the insurance and they didn’t pay me back
The owner of this location was extremely rude and very unhelpful. We had documents to be notarized which included the requirement of 2 witnesses. This isnt our first rodeo for having documents notorized in UPS Stores nationwide. We travel a lot so we usually have to use UPS on the road. Never had an owner refuse to allow their employees to sign as a witness. Especially when we are willing to pay them to witness. Its Christmas, why wouldnt she want her employees to geta little extra cash around this time. But nonetheless, she could have calmly and rationally told my husband that she was not comfortable with it. But nope, she had to be rude! Luckily for us, we found Global Post around the corner. And the wonderful ladies over there took care of us without yelling or complaining. Dont waste your time with the crotchety old lady at the UPS Store, go and see the wonderful ladies at Global Post. They made our experience 10,000x better. Maybe its time to retire, maam. You reviews are getting worse and worse. This is very unfortunate.
Since moving to the area 6 years ago we have gone to several UPS shipping locations & assumed they would all be basically the same. That was not the case. We now go out of our way, if necessary, to do service with this location in Presidio. The staff goes above & beyond to assist us as well as giving us more cost effective options, if available. Highly recommend.
Lesson learned about UPS Franchise Store Practices, UPS and Owner that runs this place. Be ready to expect careless support from the owner as well as the UPS Franchise store support. ... They accepted a package with a USPS label that was printed at my office and we got a DROP Off receipt from them for that package so they cannot denied that they took the package. Because I didnt pay for that label at their store they are off the hook their UPS Franchise Corp said. The package is missing. They said some Guy picked it up and I have to assume that was the USPS company who picked up the package. You can tell how much the owner cares that he provided me with the regular UPS phone number instead of the Franchise UPS Corporate Office.... Please be aware that this franchise owned store can magically lose a package without any Liability. Be aware that they dont care about your belongings because you purchased the label online and printed it at home or at the office. If someone have sticky fingers you are just out of luck.... I believe this is important for everyone in this area to know who you chose to deal with and protect your property. They know they can walk away and no pay so your items are available for any dishonest employee to grab.
I never thought I would have such positive feelings towards a UPS store, but I do! Theyre always friendly and helpful. They package everything up as if theyre sending their own stuff. They process long lines as quickly as they can. They offer a military discount, too. I dont bother going to the USPS anymore, even if it costs more to use UPS (I dont know if it does or not), because theyre nice and efficient here.
Amazing customer service here!! Went in to print a few pages this morning and didn’t have 60 cents on me and was prepared to pay with card when the nice man working said don’t worry about it and pay it forward next time to charity box they had there! So nice and helpful, and respectful!! 10/10 recommend this UPS store over their other locations!! Will be back here for all my future needs!!
I have NEVER had to pay for a product packaging to do a return from amazon and the one time I decided to go to this store they tried to charge me. I will happily go to the one in Keller where they have never done this to me. This place seems like a money grab. Will never go here again.Response to owner: Then you guys should work with Amazon so that a customer knows that before hand, again I have NEVER been charged for packaging at the UPS store in Keller. It’s not even about the $2.00 packaging, it’s the principle of it.
Great customer service!I had shipped a secret gift to my brother in the DFW area for him to bring to our family reunion. It was delivered quickly, but no one was at home to receive it, so it returned to a UPS office for 2-3 weeks waiting to be picked up.By the time we realized the package was waiting at the store, it looked like it was too late. The online package tracking feature showed that the package had been shipped back to the supplier and we wouldnt have what we needed for our family reunion this weekend. I frantically called multiple UPS stores trying to figure out exactly where the package was and whether it could still be intercepted.This store went above and beyond in helping me track down the package both in the electronic system and then--when that didnt get results--suggesting next steps, locating the package by hand, and actively giving me a call back to let me know it had been found. All the while being super positive, patient, and treating this with the urgency that they would for their own family.So thankful to have this store in our corner this morning! Thanks so much for your help!!
This is by far THE BEST neighborhood UPS store I have ever been to! The staff here is ALWAYS friendly and quick to service all of my shipping, copying and printing needsToday we received exemplary service from Caitlin. We needed ALOT of very important documents notarized and Caitlin took care of us. She was quick , thorough and beyond efficient.Thank you Caitlin for going above and beyond to help us today🙂 You smiled and laughed the whole time and we so appreciated your taking care of our notary needs today!!!
I am not someone who is constantly sending out packages, so I dont always know the most efficient to send a package out. This UPS location has some of the NICEST people working for them, compared to any location I have previously visited. They offer options, they are kind, they dont make you feel like an inconvenience, and they are happy to meet your shipping needs. I will happily continue to visit this location for any and all shipping needs!
I went in to ship a hiking backpack. I had shipped this exact same item in the exact same box last year and it cost between $35 and $40. I went in and started the process and was told it would be $40. Perfect. BUT, the shipping date was going to get it there too soon and there was no way to delay the arrival time so I decided to come back 2 days later. Well I come back 2 days later and somehow I was now told by a different clerk that it would cost $60. She said they must have measured it incorrectly because that was the cheapest price. Well I left because that was outrageous and I knew it was too much, went home and went to my online UPS shipping account. What do you know, I can ship it for $40. And after seeing that I decided to ship it with FedEx who shipped it for $36. Wont ever ship anything through this store again. BE CAREFUL! If it sounds like its too much, do your homework. You can go online and calculate the cost there using dimensions and weight.
Walk in guy sees me and puts his mask on. Helps me no problem but says next time I have to wear a mask in their store. I have to wonder whats the point of a mask when they take theirs off inside soon as they can and they handle packages from all over the freaking world!!! Theres your sign
A few weeks ago I went in for a large printing job and I knew it was going to be complicated and take forever. I was personally assisted by Sally and she made my complicated order so easy! Her and the staff helped me print, staple and laminate everything I needed done! I will go NO WHERE else from now on for all my printing and shipping needs. Thanks again Sally for the amazing service from you and your crew!
The staff is friendly, helpful, efficient and patient. We ship many items and the staffs work is always accurate and their advice is helpful. This is the only place that we use for shipping. We use their postal box service and have never had any lost or misplaced mail items. We recommend this store to all of our friends.
***PSA***I have a question for those that insure their packages through this UPS Store location or the owners other location in NRH.My items came back broken. I take them in to file a claim. The owner comes out because the manager is out sick.Her list of questions to me1) How much did you insure this for?2) How did you pay for this?3) Do you have your receipt for what you paid for the items? (Granted there antiques) Once you show me that then I can process your claim4) Can you show me how someone paid you for the items?When I paid to insure my items NO questions were asked?She then states I would be receiving an email from her (never got one).A week or so goes by I dont hear anything. I go by the store to pick up my items and to speak with the manager. One employees says your items arent here there at the other store, it takes time to make a claim as high as yours as she screams across the store with the max of 4 people in the store.I wait another week to 10 days, I call back the manager is back, she says, the owner is not going to honor your insurance claim because you didnt package it right, reason #5? That you should use large bubble rap and not small bubble wrap with paper. I said can I please get my items? They are still at our other location in NRH with the owner. Could you ask her to bring them to the location I dropped them off? I get to the location. She now has a note on the box that she will honor my claim IF I can show her something comparable to the items I have. Again they are ANTIQUES and reason #6 on why she has not filed my claim. Im not sure if she really has insurance and is stonewalling me? Is this how she treats all of her customers when they file a claim (box was marked fragile in my writing and two labels that her employees put on the box)? Or is it the color of my skin? Please let me know whats the problem?****FOLLOW UP****I was told today that my claim was denied for another reason, than what Sallie told me in an email today. If you watch the video on how to file a claim, its not what my experience was. Sallie (assist manager) says in an email to me she doesnt know what a control id number is, its the number needed for you to make your claim per the website, a number this location never provided so that they can file themselves and decided on who is able to file and who isnt. When I asked for my claim number once THEY filed the claim and said whatever they wanted in the claim that Im not able to view because the Store made the claim to check on the filing Sallie gave me the wrong claim number the first time, I had to email her again for the correct number. Sallie took all my info on June 23rd and didnt even file the claim until the last day the claim could be filed July 3rd. When per policy its a 10 day process. When my package was delivered on May 5th. When people wrong you (for me anyway) I believe that you dont stop fighting and I will not, there is a higher court and I look forward to it.
If I could give a zero, I would. I had 2 packages of electronics equipment to ship out on July 17, 2020. 1 package with a laptop and other office equipment was lost, there was no scans or indications the package left the store. When I called the store on the following Monday to check on the package since the UPS tracking stated it was still at the store, the clerk replied, its normal for that store to lose packages.The second package was sent to the wrong recipient. So the labels were switched.
I walked in to return an item and was immedietly met with a woman yelling at me saying I needed a mask. I simply asked if they could provide me one and she told me where they were so i put one on. My father was with me and had been told by the owner previously he didnt need to wear a mask so did not put one on. While I was returning my 1 tshirt to amazon she was yelling at my father that she didnt like him because he didnt follow rules even though the owner had told him it was fine. Whoever this woman was she was looking for confrontation and made me very uncomfortable. I asked her dude, can you just give me a second and let me return this and then well leave? she replied im not a dude im a girl. very annoying. She also screamed at us to get out several times. I hope this gets taken care of. Incident took place around 5:30pm wed, sept 9 2020. she was the only girl on shift that i saw.
FYI TO LAW ABIDING CITIZENS who exercises their 2nd AMENDMENT RIGHTS...this store will NOT ship “gun accessory’s” per the lady behind the counter. Even after I told her that the item I had was an Amazon return originally delivered by UPS. The item is an aluminum rail.I’m sure UPS will ship other items that are a lot more dangerous than an aluminum rail section...this lady had scissors at her desk. I’d rather get “stabbed” by a pic rail any day of the week over those.Just goes to show where this store owner stands in regards to lawful citizens being able to protect themselves and their loved ones against evil.Hey store owner, YOU’RE IN TEXAS and I want my fellow 2A brothers and sisters know where you stand on this. If it catches 1 persons eye and they reconsider using your services...then it will be worth typing up this review just moments after going through this in your store.
HORRIBLE !!!! Just lazy poor service. FOUR. That’s correct. Only FOUR people in front of me. I was the 5th person in line. 78 MINUTES. That’s correct, 1 hour 18 minutes in line. With two employees working the counters. Two employees to handle only 5 customers. It was almost impossible to move any slower. They don’t care , no sense of urgency at all. They can’t use COVID19 as an excuse here. It was obvious laziness. I recommend you use a different location. Stay away from this one.
Sallie at this UPS location was my lifesaver!I am in Fort Worth from out of town on business and had an extremely important file that I needed help with. Sallie helped me resolve the issue, printed then re-scanned the file and emailed it back to me all for a very nominal charge and in the most friendly and kind way.Thank You Sallie and the UPS store!
I spent some time here working on a project the other day. Just listening to the customer service with the clients coming in and out is amazing. EVERYONE is cheerful, friendly and accomodating. Props to whomever is in charge! Everyone there was delightful. Keep up the good work!

2021-06-30I’ve had to go to The UPS Store several times over the last few years for various reasons. This particular store is by far the best I’ve worked with. Returning equipment to various vendors for whatever the reason isn’t generally at the top of my “Favorite things to do” list. Twice I’ve come to this specific UPS Store and I wish they were closer to me. Kathy helped me send off multiple items today and was EXTREMELY attentive, patient and helpful with the items and was able to even be cordial to my very active child, giving him attention. I highly recommend using this UPS Store for your shipping needs.

2022-08-08Saw that I had a few boxes which was heavy and had to make multiple Trips. 4 people working and not ONE ask they can help. They just look at me. Then expect me to carry them all the way to the end of the register so he can scan!!! Horrible service 🤦🏽♀️ Do better!

2022-02-08The first and only time we will visit this location on Tehama Ridge. The young staff they employ is rude, inexperienced and unhelpful and prefer to stand behind the counter and visit. We needed a simple document notarized and we were rudely told you have to make an appointment, while pointing to the courtesy computer in the corner. The system was not working properly, only taking appointments for future days, not same day. The staff did not offer to help and the store was not even busy at the time. Absolutely unprofessional, and is a bad reflection on the UPS Stores enterprises.

2021-11-11BE FOREWARNED: The UPS Store locations are franchises and operates differently than when you go to a UPS Customer Center/Hub. If you mail from a The UPS Store location, they are responsible for your package refund if a package is lost. If you ship from a UPS Customer Center/Hub, they are responsible for a refund. That being said, the people who work at this location are great, smart, helpful, and friendly. The owner(s), on the other hand, apparently is (are) not. I sent five packages out of state from this store, insured the packages, and two of the five packages got lost. This being an extremely rare occurrence in my experience with UPS. However, this store (store number 6734), has declined to pay me the $780 total in refunds, the declared value of the items and the dollar amount of refunds I have already reimbursed my customers who never received their items. UPS, the international company, tells me that yes, they verified my online claims for lost packages, and yes, the packages were indeed lost, however, I must look to The UPS Store for my refunds. To date, after nearly a month from shipping the packages and four in store visits to check on the packages status/refund status, they have outright declined to pay my refunds. So, after many attempts, online, over the phone, and in person, to reasonably and fairly collect my refunds, as a matter of last resort after being denied the chance to speak with the franchise owner, this matter has now been officially turned over to the State of Texas Consumer Affairs Division of the State Attorney Generals office, Ken Paxton, A.G. and will soon be a matter of public record.

2022-01-18Over the last two years of covid I have to admit I hadnt been a big fan a couple of times with this place because honestly the management was rude but today was awesome and Ive been in a couple times since and the staff had always been amazing but you could tell there was just something from the top down that wasnt so great but the guy that was there today which I know he was wearing a name tag but I honestly dont remember. But I have seen him in there quite a lot and I was absolutely impressed with their ability to stay focused even though it was busy and to still have good customer service

2022-01-16Stopped in to return to items to Amazon. The gentleman that helped me wasnt pleasant at all. He had literally threw, two boxes of ceramic creations on top of the first one he weighed. These boxes where about 18x 20x 10. Then he called me over to his register, by saying next. No hello, no thank you, no nothing. This was in the afternoon time, he was the employee facing the front door. If I have another store closer to my home, I will be going there instead.
