Had to return something from Amazon today. Chris was more than happy to help me. I had more than one return labels and wasnt sure which to use. He didnt rush me, he helped me figure it out. Thats a plus and difference from how most of these places are (rushing, impatient). Keep up the good work guys. Customer service goes a long way. ;)
It was a place that I used all the time because it was the closest to my workplace and I had never encountered a problem until today. but today, even though I arrived a few minutes after the closing time and I stated that I didnt need a receipt, they did not receive my 3 heavy packages. Frankly, I want to write it here because I cant really understand it. Why doesnt your store, which is only open for drop-off, receive the packages?
The staff were very friendly and professional, as they were being berated customer after customer over pricing to mail packages (like they were setting those prices). Christian did great with an older customer who was very opinionated in her views. All in all I gotta give the staff this morning props for keeping it cool and professional!
First time at this ups store today 09/01/2021 received excellent customer service today from Christian Aleman . I enjoyed his professionalism helping me send documents to Florida for my new job (I was a little overwhelmed but he walked me through It). Will come back for the fast and friendly service.
I’ve been going to this UPS for a few years now to ship items to a friend in the marines and Araceli has helped me a few times in the past and more recently Victoria has also helped me with my packages. They both are very professional and take the time to explain which shipping option is best given date/time/preferred delivery date. I moved about 20 minutes away recently but I will still be coming to this store purely for the excellent customer service I consistently receive
I went this past Friday! Had about 20 boxes to ship outSebastian greeted me and helped me carry in all the boxes also helped with printing out all the labels.Madison was of great assistanceAnd not to mention the ups driver as wellHelped with labeling the boxes as well.Great team work I was in and out! I stopped by this store today and there were a couple people inside. By the time I was ready to check out one lady was helping a customer in front of me. Two other girls working were messing around behind the counter but not offering assistance, at this time a line began behind me of about 5 people. The delivery guy reminded the two girls that they have customers waiting and the girl with blonde hair and fake eye lashes was very rude to the delivery guy asking if he even works here and to mind his own business. At this time, the girl with long braids offered assistance and was very sweet and helpful. The girl with blonde hair and lashes interrupted and was talking about other issues with the girl assisting me and was distracted which held up my transaction resulting in other customers having to wait as well. Everyone in the store was nice, but I think the blonde girl either needs extreme coaching/ retraining & an attitude check or she’s got to go!
Today I went to this location to drop off a package. Instantly I was greeted by the staff. Sebastian made my visit fast and efficient. I was in and out in no time which is great, thanks to Sebastian. I really enjoy professional and friendly staff and Sebastian showed that immediately during my visit. The staff here is always so helpful and have great attitudes!
This UPS store was one of the best that I’ve been to. The staff were professional and helpful with my notoriety. Sebastian and Amaris showed what being professional is all about. Very impressed with their customer service and friendliness. I would recommend going to this location for mailing needs.
Hello there to all,This is by far the best ups store Ive ever been to. I was immediately welcomed by the 3 ladies that were working. Although they were helping customers they still went out of their way to greet me. The line was moving very quickly and when I got to the counter, a very nice and sweet young lady with curly hair was the greatest help ever. She went above and beyond to give me the most accurate and detailed information. Im new to shipping cross county, but she gave me the insight that was needed to be sure that my products were shipped safely and accurately. The other two ladies working were also working hard taking care of their customers. They all deserve a big raise! You have gained a customer for life.
I went to UPS to ship some ammo to a friend. They refused and said they were not allowed. They pointed to signs on hazmat products which I read to them explaining it was allowed. I pulled up UPS.COM website where it tells you how to ship ammo. And in the end I get we are privately own. Along with closing early and not opening some days now this store is going downhill. It looks like they have changed ownership. It sucks that I have been using this store as my business address. I will have to consider other options.
I have trouble understanding how to return a damaged product back to Amazon; upon entering the store I spoke to an employee named Sebastian who walked me thru step by step in the process to return the product back to the online store . Customer service was pleasant and the process a breeze and easier to understand .
Went back because the rep placed the wrong label on the box. Got word from Jasmine (girl who placed it) that it was switched after I went back minutes later. She didnt give me the print receipt so I had went back the next day only to be told it was never corrected. Asked for a manager and was told they never know when she will be in but that they would have her call me. They said they cannot help at all even though their rep told me it was corrected.GO FOGURE STILL NO CALL FROM MANAGER. 👎
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Horrible service. Try calling them or emailing them yourself if you dont believe me, they dont answer the phone at any hour, no matter how many times you call, you can send as many emails as you want, they dont check their email or bother to respond. I have had a box there for 2 years, ever since this new owner took over it is just terrible. They even forget to put a notice in my box when I have a package. I have to drive 12 miles to their location and ask them to determine if I have a package. They are supposed to send you an email if you have a package, instead they cant be reached by any means other than direct contact.
During this pandemic I’m always appreciative of services available such as notaries, faxes, printing services, etc. Ms . Amaris and Sebastian has always gone above and beyond for any and all services that have been provided.Thank you guys for your excellent customer service!
I had a great experience returning off a couple of Amazon purchases, I received fast and friendly service the moment I walked through the door. The employees were very professional and were able to answer all questions and concerns that I had. I paid a small service fee and was on my way. Will come back here for my future mail needs.
Friendly staff willing to help you make the right choice for shipping your items. Much quicker than standing in line at the post office. My time is more valuable than saving a few bucks at the post office!Unfortunately the management has changed and the service is not what it used to be......bummer!
Do not stop here! They have TERRIBLE customer service. There’s a much better UPS Store on Potranco. The management here is horrible. I’ve been here twice and on both occasions I’ve witnessed an older female chastise employees in front of customers. The only decent employee there, an older gentleman, was helping a customer tape up a box and she got after him and told him in front of everyone in the store that she was going to dock his pay for not charging the woman for taping up her box. Unbelievable. By the way (they charge $1.00 PER box if you forget tape or don’t tape your package adequately)! The few times my package has not been sealed when I take it in to other stores they are happy to fix it free of charge. I understand pinching pennies and having policies in place, but I WILL NOT support a business who disrespects their employees and embarrasses them in front of others. DESPICABLE BEHAVIOR on behalf of that manager. Learn some manners and talk to the employee privately lady! You made all your customers feel uncomfortable and just lost my business!
Horrible experience. As soon as a walked in the lady at counter was extremely rude. Then when I went to return my prepaid Amazon packages, they wanted to charge me $2 per box just to tape them up. Boxes were in perfect condition and would have required just one strip across the top. $10 just to use a fraction of tape is joke and I ended up taking my packages and leaving.
PSA if you can not afford a printer at home do not go to UPS to return Amazon packages. Call Amazon for other options during the pandemic.It will cost you $3.25 for them to print 2 pieces of paper. They will also focus their attention on “people who are ready” and make you wait 10 extra minutes before they provide you a “service.”The staff is dismissive. The staff is insensitive. Their leadership cannot evaluate the audacity of this price gauging during a stressful and financial burden due to the virus. They didn’t even acknowledge my concerns and provided me only with scripted responses. A simple, “I understand the frustration...” or “We know it is difficult...” - where the heck is the humanity?Again, free options may be out of the way or closed, just CALL AMAZON. They will take care of you. Should’ve thought about it before I let this location heartlessly take my money.
I had two packages to return to the ups store. I didnt tape the packages because I wasnt sure how the paperwork was attached. The representative was rude and would not stop working on something behind the counter to acknowledge me in line. Mind you there was not a line and I was the only one in the store. Finally she asked what I wanted. She told me where the slips go and said there would be a charge for two pieces of tape. I should have known to bring tape...NOT! I explained that the last and only time I didnt before they provided the tape. She then told me I could by packages there at the store. I asked for a manager and to my surprise she was the other lady who had been behind the counter. The manager then explained how they are a store and need to make money some how. I then said my money is going elsewhere and a complaint would be filed.
I came to drop off my book rentals for end of the semester. I had all my slips printed but had gotten them out of order. Gerald helped me figure out which paper belonged to each book. He was very friendly and helpful helping me package my books and he even saved me money suggesting envelopes instead of boxes. He provided excellent customer service I am very pleased with the service. Thank you Gerald!
I ship a lot being in the military and this one at 8403 TX-151 in San Antonio is definitely my go-to location when the one on base is too crowded, which it often is. The line is always short when I visit and staff are VERY friendly (I was served today by a young man named Sebastian, quite the conversationalist!). These guys are THE MASTER PACKERS!!
I came in today to drop off a package and the guy just scanned it and left it out to where people can just grab it. He just left it there where anyone can take my package and he just walked to the back. He did it with another Amazon package.if someone took my package then it would cause me to lose trust with my clients
It is Saturday midday and the store is closed. Checked for notice on door for explanation, lunch maybe, none. Called to get more info, doesn’t voice mailbox doesn’t work. Waited around 15 minutes and at least a dozen people came by needing things done. Each looking at door notices and thru glass doors, feeling like each was getting punked. The punk never showed to open up!
Rude staff. They dont tell you about the fees to tape your package closed until youre at the register and you think youre about to just drop off the package until they charge you. They charge a dollar per package. What else are they going to nickel-and-dime you for??? Other UPS Stores dont charge this ridiculous fee. I will never come back to the store
Horrible customer service! The owner could not give me the information needed to properly ship something. After my small baby and i could not wait for them to call UPS and ask, I was told i was responsible for paying for the envelope I could not and did not use. and that the other employee clearly saw me putting my item in and didnt tell me it needed special packaging. When i refused, the owner locked the door, accused me of stealing and called the 911. I was humiliated in front of other customers and felt discriminated against because of the color of my skin.
This location absolutely SUCKS at customer service! Never a smile, thank you and greetings. They charged me. $1 to type my package (one piece of type!!!! It’s not about the money it’s customer service and the principal! Learn how to treat people! The only reason they are open at this location is because there isn’t another one for miles! Next time I’ll drive the extra miles to get better service!
I guess UPS is desperate for money. I just dropped off an item to be returned. I had the item and box with the label to be shipped and the clerk here tells me that they charge a dollar to place tape on the package. I asked him if he was serious and he confirmed that UPS charges a dollar now for a piece of tape. Thats ridiculous!
Worst UPS store in SA. They would charge you for coming in the store if they could. Manager/owner is very firm and proud to charge for every service he possibly can. I came to drop off a return with a pre paid UPS label and was told it would be $1.00 to tape my box for shipping. I declined and he gave me this smug, Ebenezer Scrooge I said good day! Face. On another visit, I had a 1-page email I needed to print.. i was charged an additional 3 dollar email fee for a measly seventeen-cent black and white print. SMH. Rent must be expensive.
Very Rude even when the store is empty. Somehow they are in a hurry to get you out of the store. The first time I went I was sending a prepaid package and sent them the email to print the label and they wanted to charged me 2.00 for that then the guy said that if he taped it, it was going to be an extra charge for that too??????? Like the other guy said in his review its not about the money but the way they talk to the customer. I was used to fedex they print the lable no charge and they tape the box no charge. I had to go to office depot and have them print the lable for me and tape it for me. And guess what they did it all for free. Drive back to this store and send the package out. So now I have to stop at office depot and print out the label when shipping prepaid from this spot.
Why is there a 26$ hold on someones credit card account if I only came in to make copies which would only cost less than 2$? Makes no sense. Employee there said its the same when you pump gas which made no sense. Love your company been doing business with you for years. But this definitely kept me from doing business today. Hopefully not all ups stores are this way.
Worse cutomer service ever wanted to charge me for tape, $1 what a joke. Acted like they were doing me a favor by taking Amazon return, went to another UPS store and the guy knew what I was talking about when I asked if they charged for tape, then laughed. Lost me as a customer.
All this location had to do was accept a pre-packaged, pre-labeled, pre-paid item for shipment at 10:53AM and get it out the door with the regular daily pickup at 6:45PM and they couldnt even do that. I didnt need assistance with anything, the label was accurate and shipping container correct as it was a direct pre-paid return. My lack of paying for anything in-store is likely why my package didnt make it out the same day despite it being there 7hours and 45 minutes prior to pickup. Being a Friday this meant the package sat in the store all weekend because not only are they closed on Sunday but they have no scheduled pickups from UPS on Saturdays. I also agree with the odd attitude of the employees at this location. I dont need anyone to coddle me but its definitely not an inviting feeling to bring your business to an establishment only to be treated as if you are an inconvenience to them. This is not a shipping super center, it was my first and last visit as well. Any future shipments Ill return to using the stores on 1604 and Potranco or Culebra.
Walked into the store to pack and send a package and it felt like I was being pressured into buying a car. I needed to purchase a box with bubble wrap to send 2 8x10 picture frames. After about 10 mins the quotes were $40 for double box, $20 single box, or $10 if I packed it myself. As I was packing the box myself, I heard the manager talk to staff about what not to say to customers when they need a package packed. I honestly felt the same pressure as when buying a vehicle. I thought the post office was poor service, nowhere close to the poor service at this UPS Store.
Staff here is very helpful. We had to get documents notorized and sent certified mail to close on our home, and the employee helped us out by staying late, assiting us with printing out forms that we needed, and helping to notorize everything. She even gave us a discount on some of the services since we were doing so much.
Bunch of crooks. I called and asked if they could print out a label to affix to my pre paid package since I didnt have access to a printer and they said yes. When I got there though they told me to use a printer that costs $3 per minute to use, then I asked if I can borrow tape to affix it, then they wanted to sell me a roll of tape for another $3. $6 to put a damn label on a box, costing more then the shipping cost. I went back home, requested a free pickup, the driver put a label on there for no charge. Screw this UPS store, they will nickel and dime the crap out of you. Go to FedEx or USPS.
Asked for 6in of tape to make sure nothing happened to the contents.. I work over by the ups store in the Rim location and have never been charged for a piece of tape.. the women with the horrible pixie cut and Kmart glasses was rude and told me to take it elsewhere..
Best just to go to a regular post office. I went in to the stiff air in this ups and everyone just stared at me. The one girl that did offer to help me was more of a point and you figure it out yourself The three employees standing behind the counter with her just stood there and seriously stared!. When my cousin and I left he mentioned that it felt like an episode of twilight zone. I laughe dit off but really its tru the vibe was uneasy in this place.
I went in to drop off a package and I asked them to tape the side of the box and the kid in the front was like, its gonna be $1.00. Really $1.00 are you freaking kidding me. He was like I can take it like this. I was like no, the box will open. So I took it back. Never agian.

2022-04-03While I’ve used this location many time yesterdays experience made me realize what a great location it actually is. Even when there is a line it’s quick to move and the employees are courteous. A few times the associates have gone out of their way to make sure I’d purchasing packaging supplies from them they saved me money. Yesterday my two daughters and I stopped by to get our passport photos. The associate that started our transaction handed off our request to another seamlessly. The associate was quick and efficient. While the cost of the photos themselves may not be the cheapest around the convenience of coming here proved to be worth the money alone.

2022-08-14It appears someone was having a bad day. I tried to offer some support to this employee and my kindness was simply scoffed at, to which left me dumbfounded. Ive never had problems at a UPS store til today. Will not be visiting this location ever again.

2022-01-18I use UPS stores in the area a lot. This was the first time I used this store. Three stars because the employees did their best to help me, and were polite. I removed two stars because the owner or upper management needs to better train its employees. I dont blame the two young employees doing their best. I simply needed my vaccination card sent copied and emailed to me, and it was cut off so you could not see the whole card. Also, they had no record of a copy I processed three hours before I got there, so I had to re-email them the document. Again, props to the young employees doing their best in what can be a stressful situation. Thumbs down to management/ownership. You need to have an upper level manager there at all times and/or spend time and resources to better train your employees.

2022-05-28Call to see if they have a notary available. The say they are there till 5:30 pm. Show up at 5:20pm and the say they are not doing any notary. Tell them I called and they say sorry we made a mistake. But the notary was there. Just refused to follow what their employee said.

2022-04-30Seems the store has an excuse every Saturday as to why they are not open. Todays its a broken door, but I saw the employees enter with no issue. I saw them messing with the door as well as if to break it on purpose. I can never get a package sent on Saturday.

2021-10-20This is my go to UPS Store for Amazon returns. Yesterday I went and it was extremely busy. Every single employee was pushing through and still made the effort to be present and considerate. Usually when places get busy quality customer service goes out the window but not here. I was in and out still under 10 minutes!

2021-09-29I havent had to use a UPS store in a long time but store #6552 provided me with the best customer service. I had to get a package delivered to my son overseas and Meadow went above and beyond to help from making sure the address was correct, finding a box that my items could be shipped in, securing the items and getting it to him in a timely manner. She was patience and very kind. I appreciate when someone goes out of their way to make another persons day better. Thank you Meadow!

2022-01-07I definitely believe these raving reviews were written by the staff and owner of this store....This is the worst service I have ever received from a franchise company associated with a huge company like UPS.The store and manager are extremely unresponsive, the Manager is never around and does not return calls.We got a mail box from their location in September 2021 and we were very specific that we were moving out of state and needed all our mails forwarded which we were promised will happen and we did not doubt this assurance because of the UPS logo and name which really does not mean anything anymore to me.We were out of the country November 27th 2021 through January 3rd 2022 and called several times to have the mail forwarded to our Florida address and were assured it would be done.2 Weeks we went back and forth with the store as they claimed only the Manage could provide this approval and the so called Manager never had the decency to return calls.We incurred roaming fees just to speak with the store which sometimes was for over 25 minutes.We finally made it back and some guy apologized and promised to take care of this situation, still it never happened.The mail being waited on was extremely important and they finally told u that we needed to make a payment for the transfer of the mail which was not an issue, payment was made and we were promised the mail will arrive on Friday 1/7/2022, we requested a tracking number and they promised to send the tracking number via email.Today is Friday 1/7/2022, no tracking number was ever sent and the mail is still sitting in the store in San Antonio after payment was effected and received.Out of frustration I have reached out to UPS corporate and no luck there eitherIf you are reading this , please stay away from this store #6552, UPS might also want to look into the operations as it has given me a very bad taste and i will rave about Fed Kinkos and let everyone and anyone i know know that this is a very disorganized, unprofessional and disgraceful image of UPS.The rating of one star is only being awarded because i cannot post this review without a star, left to me if there was a minus rating this store will definitely fit the profile.
