I have lived here for 2 years on the 3rd floor and its great. Convenient and close to everything. Plus the people work with you are are nice. For the price and area, its very worth it. The only issue that has happened is that my friends car was towed because i forgot to register them online. But as long as you follow the rules, its great to live here.
The Wyatt at Presidio is a great place to live! My children and I have lived here a little over a year. We are so pleased with the leasing office staff. Every time we have encountered a potential problem, they are always so eager to help and resolve it before it actually turns into one. Irene Englen, the Assistant Director, has been such a blessing to us! Earlier this year we needed to move to a bigger apartment, and she went out of her way, going the extra mile, to make the transition as quickly and smoothly as possible. She really cares about the well being of each resident as well as the rest of the staff. It is great to call this place home! Marisol V.
Once you sign their contract all the sweet customer service and caring is gone. They make no attempt at trying to help their residents in any situation. Let me make this clear, I don’t live here. But the people I know that do live here have reached out to me to call the office bc they do not speak the language. I’m okay with them not sharing information with me for not living there. But Wow, then you help out the people using your services so that they don’t have to reach out to a third party. Cars getting towed without notice, and all bc a misunderstanding. If there is a language barrier, there are many resources out there to help. They looked for a solution to it and Wyatt staff shut it down.
Dont ever live here. The apartments at nice and the complex is decent, but all they want is your money! First week of living there my car got towed, their website to make your payments for rent is messed up! And if for some odd reason you receive an error or the transaction wasnt successful, they charge you for that. If you have to pay your rent with a card online, they charge you $70+ just to run the transaction!!! We requested over 5 times our dishwasher to be looked at because it didnt drain, and they would look at it and say they fixed it but never did. It would never drain, so the whole year there, we never could use it. The gates would never work, one would always be broken, the code for guest to come on never worked either. Trash would pile up and look horrible and they would do nothing about it. They sucker you in with a cheap deposit, but dont do it, they charge you 3X your deposit once you move out. You can clean everything brand new, they will charge you anyways for no reason! Guest parking is very limited and fills up quick, friend of mine came up for 15mins, went down and they towed the car. They will hide at the front and watch for cars to come in then go check for stickers. Its a shame such nice apartments in a great area are ran by such horrible management. Its not work it at all. I wouldnt recommend anyone to live here.
If youre thinking about living here I suggest looking elsewhere. Whatever amount of money you put down for a deposit you will never see again because they will find a way to not pay you that money back. They have their hidden fees they will charge you. $60 for carpet cleaning even though the carpet doesnt need cleaning and looks brand new. It does say in the contract they will charge you for those things but only if its required and cleaning the carpet was not required. $2 for a light bulb being out even though if you wouldve noticed that bulb being out while you were living there they wouldve replaced for free. Then to top it all off they want to give me an offer to extend my lease 6 days before Im suppose to give my 60 day notice. So you give me 6 days to decide? You couldnt have given me more time to decide? So I gave them a 54 day notice and they decided to charge me $127 for an insufficient notice on my final bill. No one had told me I gave an insufficient notice at the time of me giving my notice. They claim they made every effort to contact me to let me know that my 60 day notice was approaching but that is not true because I have the phone records and the one phone call and the one voicemail that was left on my phone on August 8th putting the notice at 54 days. Stay away from this place, theyre going to take as much money from you as possible before you leave. You can kiss that security deposit goodbye. If I could give this place zero stars I would.
Ive lived at the Wyatt two different times over the last couple of years. I moved out the first time because of work and then moved out a couple of months ago because I bought a house. Both times I moved in the apartment was not clean and had to spend an entire day cleaning before unpacking. The second time I moved in the entire place smelled like weed and I documented it on my move-in sheet and they charged me $50 for cleaning the smoke smell out of my apartment when I left and a couple hundred more for other items that they claimed were broken, but were just fine before I had moved out. The office staff are knowledgeable and nice and its also pretty much right in the middle of everything.
Update:Overall the apartment was really nice for the price. We were there 2 years and had we not bought a house we would have renewed for another year. The move out was terrible. They will stick to the fine print of your lease to a T. Dont expect them to work with you and your situation. They will also not explain the move out out process clearly.Expect to be nickel and dimed for everything at move out. Take pictures of everything and make sure you have everything documented.Overall it wasnt a bad place to live. Management got worse through the years, but for the most part they were quick to fix issues in the apartment. Just expect a bad move out experience.Old review:I dont know what the problem is with peoples cars getting towed!? The no back-in parking restriction might be part of the reason people are getting towed. Not sure why that is even a restriction, but it is clearly marked and explained to residents. We live on the east side of the complex since Sept 2014 and just renewed for another year and have never been towed. We have also always been able to find a parking place near our stairs 99% of the time. Only a handful of times did we have to park farther away or in visitor parking.I have had numerous work orders for little things that needed to be fixed over the course of our first year and they were always out promptly to fix it. Almost always the same day. The repairman was always courteous and repaired things quickly. The office staff has always been friendly and quick to respond. There was a billing snafu when they changed billing systems and worked with me to make sure it was corrected without any problems.I have lived in many many apartments over the years, and we just came from owning a house. This is the first apartment we have ever renewed a lease with.Take negative reviews with a grain of salt, most people that are unhappy tend to leave reviews more than people that are happy. I am posting this review because my experience has been quite the opposite of most of the recent negative reviews.
I’m with most. I’d choose zero stars on this place. You’ll place money down for a deposit, and I assure you. They will find ways to keep it. This is just a fraction of the issues. The front office runs this place as a dictator would. You’ll find smiling faces as you sign, and wrath when you live in the gated community. The front staff has the worst attitude, and I’m shocked Amber still holds a job here. Hands down the worst place I’ve ever lived. You can all keep my 300.00 deposit. You obviously need it more than me reading your pest controls, and sewage you needed after I left!
Great apartments. The office has been friendly and professional every time I have spoken with them. The manager amber was very helpful and kind when I needed help due to a personal situation I had and maintenance is always fast to fix any work orders I need. Beautiful property. I recommend for sure.
My husband and my daughter resided here in 2016, Amber did the final walk through. I personally cleaned the entire apartment inside and out. The lease was for 1 year. They had a 2 bedroom upstairs. After completing the entire final walk through Amber stated that the apartment was in excellent condition and even made comment on appreciating that her make ready people wouldn’t have to come in there and do anything because we had left it spotless. All was checked off and written down.My husband asked if he would be receiving his very large deposit back, as they ask for so much money (to keep we know now.) and she assured him that he would definitely be receiving his deposit back in full. Two weeks passed, and he gets a letter in the mail from these apartments stating he owes over 1,000.00 in damages!!They kept his entire deposit as well deducted the amount from what they claimed after this walk through was well over with that he owed in damages. He tried to call and speak to Amber regarding this and she was completely unprofessional and dishonest to say the least. My husband then got a lawyer to sue the management company and this lawyer sent them a lengthy legal response to their allegations against my husband and this damage they lied about. Our lawyer requested a response back from the apartment owners with proof and stated they already kept his clients deposit, stated they were not getting anymore because the claim is unfounded and these charges are egregious. We went for weeks then months, no response. Our lawyer stated that if they were going to attempt to collect these egregious claims they would have sent a bill/letter etc. He stated that it would cost them more to go to court and fight this even though they are in the wrong and there is proof of it, they wouldn’t get any money in fact they would lose money so he stated 5 months later that they let their dishonest claims go once they realized they weren’t dealing with poor pushovers.A year and some months later, we get a collections letter in the mail at our new home. To our complete shock- this apartment community SOLD this lie to a debt collector agency!! They didn’t even have the correct amount shown that these apartments accused us of owning. This apartment management company are frauds. The people running it are frauds. Businesses in the business of creating fictitious bills and lies to steal people’s money and attempt to ruin their credit by force are criminals. To ignore the legality of the letter they received from our lawyer and wait it out to avoid being caught in their scam to continue the scam is criminal.Don’t rent from this apartment community or any apartments owned by the same management company. This was a nightmare and for no reason other than to take more money and keep their costs at zero to maintain the property at all- they literally lie cheat and steal to hike their profit margins and prey on people who won’t sue.We need to be seeking legal ramifications. This is completely unethical and against fair housing laws, against fair credit laws, against the association regulations... it’s completely fraudulent. My husband paid rent every month on time. He paid for covered parking just to park a mile away from his apartment. And didn’t break his lease. Did everything right. After reading over all of the reviews here, I can see some are bought, some are most likely employees leaving them, this entire place and outfit is dishonest and unprofessional. There’s some law in business practices that’s been breached here aside contract laws I’m sure.Do yourself a favor and run away from this place. It’s a dishonest pit of lying scamming frauds.
Live here if you want to be miserable for 12 months. The management are a bunch of greedy unhappy people who pretend to be helpful but dont actually care about their residents. The most obvious is when you look at their parking policy. The towing company they use will tow your visitors as soon as possible and the website used to register them is broken. If you decide to park on the street in front of the complex your car WILL get broken in to as many residents have complained. The gates to this gated complex are also open 3 days out of the week for no reason. When you move out they will not give you your deposit back and charge you for replacing things you did not damage. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
For the cost, highly consider looking at another property with better management. For example, my power went out for a day and a half, I called Direct Energy and their rep told me that the apartment managers owned the power boxes on the side of the building and to ask the property managers to come reset the box; a few calls later and the property manager Amber is berating me saying that I cant flip an exterior breaker for my apartment and to just wait for the energy company (who legally was unable to flip the box since it was and still is the property of the Wyatt). Very skeevy wording and intentional vagueness in lease agreement has ultimately cost me around $3800 to break lease early, paying $2100 as an early termination fee and having to pay an additional $1600 as a sixty day notice fee a week and a half after Ive moved out. Im sure theyll respond to this by saying that I had the opportunity to read over and sign the lease agreement, but after spending the evening reading it page by page nowhere does it say this clearly and with any estimated dollar amount. On my move out day I had verbal confirmation from one office employee saying aside from the $2100 lease termination fee I should just be expecting the final months water/utilities and any damages to the apartment...little did I know, or was aware of, the fact that an additional month and a half of rent would be required. Lesson learned the hard way and theyll get their money, but ALWAYS ask for signed and dated documentation with exact dollar amounts owed when dealing with these people.Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, this is just another rental company thats looking to skim as much money off of its tenants as possible. The area has more affordable housing solutions that hopefully have better, more level headed top management.
Apartment was mediocre but suitable for the price and area. Had been declined after paying fees; Went to talk to management Regarding why and was greeted by a leasing assistant. We were told that they couldnt tell us why because paperwork had already been submitted, I asked to speaking to the leasing manager to see if he/she could help in any way. The leasing assistant walking into the managers office ( which is about 7 feet from our seats ) and came back out and told us once again, that there was nothing they can do.It would of been appreciated if at least management would have been decent enough explained the current circumstances instead of seating behind the desk and making us feel insignificant. My only wish was that I had read the reviews online before spending my time unwisely at the Wyatt.
To be honest, I have never lived at Wyatt. However, after reading many reviews, I feel that they are being unfairly criticized for things they cannot control. One reviewer was upset they were charged a late fee, after they paid rent late. Another was disappointed by the length of the lease, which is probably a document created by the Texas Apartment Association and used by the majority of communities in Texas. Others were upset that their car was towed, which can’t be done without proper signage. And to top it off, many of these reviews were from many months ago.Too many times only the negative experiences get talked about and often times could have been avoided. My suggestion, if you like the price and the floor plans online, take 30 minutes and take a tour! Go get a sense of the community for yourself!, and see how they’ve grown in the last year!
The manager here at this property is very rude. She would not allow me to get a word in edge wise and is very unprofessional. It was validation from the reviews written by others who had similar experiences. Word of advise. Please check their rating and do your homework. There is an old saying. You get what you pay for. Its wonder why the rent at this property is so cheap. Who would want to buy a home/apartment before being able to inspect it? I would have to be a fool to pay a deposit for any place where I would be living 12 months without being able to see where I will be lying my head and breathing in who knows what. Yes you may get to see the model, but the model hasnt been lived in and of course its a model. Who knows how well the previous tenant may have cleaned up before they exited the apartment and what they may have done to cover up things such as spots, cracks and mode. Yes the carpet may have been vacuum or cleaned, but how old is it and what if pet odor starts to resurface? Two other things before I end this. The gym! The gym! What gym? You may be lucky to fit 3 people at a time in what they call a gym. And last but least, why have a gate opener when the gate remains opened during all times of night? The hell with the manager there.
My family and I loved living at The Wyatt at Presidio Junction. Maintenance was professional, friendly and quick to respond. We never had any issue there. The office staff was friendly and management was always eager to help in any way that they could. I will refer everyone to The Wyatt. We would still be there if we hadnt bought a home.
I lived at the Wyatt for almost 3 years and if it wasn’t for needing to get a yard for my dogs, I would still be there. The property is beautiful, the staff was always helpful, any time I had an issue with anything it was fixed the same day, and they do a lot of activities for their residents. The apartments are very nice. I lived in the marshall floorplan and it was very spacious! If I ever decide to go back to an aparment, I would go right back to the Wyatt.
Skeevy money grabbers. Initial quoted rent price inflated 10% within two days despite a written guarantee that itd stay the same. Amber, one of the managers, is downright unpleasant to deal with. Exorbitant fees to break lease, and severe lack of clarity in lease agreement has led me to pay just under $4k to break lease. For the cost of a one bedroom, youd be better off in a handful of apartments nearby. The property itself is fine enough, apartment quality was about average, and the complex was clean and safe. Absolutely nightmarish parking situation, horribly loud neighbors (not really the fault of the property managers). The poor management is the biggest downside, expect to be swindled out of your money at every turn.
While a resident I encountered an ant problem. The exterminator sprayed several times and they seemed to get worse. Therefore I purchased ant bare traps and it got better. However, when I received my final invoice there was a charge for pest control that was higher than normal so I inquired about it and was told it was for the treatment of the outside of the property which wasnt my responsibility. I was told someone would contact me to discuss the issue, but I havent heard from any. I guess since Im no longer a resident it doesnt matter. Secondly, Building 3 has a parking problem. And lastly, there was a disgusting smell coming through the vents. I was told it was coming from the outside. #COLORMEDISENCHANTED
This place has been a godsend, I had to move here after a divorce. I had become accustomed to living in a house but I kind of enjoy the amenities of apartments now. I love that if I have an issue I can call maintenance. The staff is friendly. Everything about the place has made this big transition in my life smoother.
I would never recommend this apartment complex to anyone! I have lived here for over a year. They raised my rent on a two bedroom to 970 a month. I have had nothing but issues with this apartment. The parking is the worst. You do not have your space and there are very little parking spots available. I had company last week so my friend had to park on the street where someone hit her brand new car and drove off. Last night my boyfriend came over and his car was towed. They have signs posted that your car will be towed if you are a visitor but they have no visitor parking!!!!! They have this rediculous Resident of the month sign well I have had it twice and twice someone has parked overnight in my spot and neither was ever towed! I pay for garbage service but they only have one garbage for all buildings. I have to walk my garbage down to the dumpster that is always over flowing.I wont even the mention the rats and bugs!!!!!!!!!!!I have two children. The biggest reason I chose this place was the pool area. Well...there are so many college age residents that invite their friends that the pool area is a drunken over crowded nightmare. The four grills dont work!Last summer a resident was so drunk and left her young son alone at the pool. He fell in and another resident and I pulled him out. I called CPS. The apartment people would not comply with the CPS investigation.Bottom line is dont sign a lease here.....you will regret it. I am stuck until my lease is up so I dont get slammed with charges. I dont want someone to go through what I have been through here.Tracey Eckenrod
I considered moving into to this community once my lease was up at one of the Courtland communities I live in. After visiting a friend for only less than an hour, my car was towed. This place is contracted with a towing company that keeps a close eye on the visitor lot. If your vehicle is not registered, they will tow it.Like the others who have given this place a bad review have said, this place is owned my scammers and will do anything to make money. They monitor the visitor lot constantly, hoping to get as many cars towed as possible and it’s a way to get money. I understand if my car was parked overnight, but it was less than an hour!! They watch the lot like hawks, in hopes to tow your visitor’s car. There are a lot of communities in this area to choose from, don’t choose this one.
Save yourself A LOT of trouble and find somewhere else to live!! I chose to ignore all of the horrible reviews and gave it a chance. Horrible mistake. I lived at the Wyatt only 9 months and experienced more issues in those 9 months than I have experienced in the past 9 years at prior apartment complexes. I lived at both the Riverside Villas & Sagestone Village and both of these complexes are head and shoulders above the Wyatt. I knew the Wyatt was below both of these complexes, but was looking for a lower rent... so this is partly my own fault! PAY THE EXTRA $50 TO LIVE SOMEWHERE NICER. They will get you in the end with their damage and cleaning fees anyway. Here are some of my biggest complaints:-My apartment was filthy when I moved in. The carpets were still wet from being cleaned (at least I know they cleaned the carpet, right!?). It smelt like a mixture of dog and cigarettes. Not pleasant.-Garbage. There are not enough garbage containers for the complex. They are overflowing nearly every single day. And I dont mean a few bags overflowing... I mean large piles of trash bags outside the dumpsters. The animals get into them overnight causing trash all around the area. I lived in building 8- right by the garbage, so maybe this does not disgust everyone the way it did me.-MANAGEMENT. Horrible. Amber Frazier and Deanna Duncan are both sorry excuses for property managers. Do not even waste your time discussing an issue with them. They will take you in circles, and not solve the problem. They are extremely rude and unhelpful. This place doesnt stand a chance of improvement with these two in charge. I went into the office after receiving my move out statement to ask Amber a few questions about the charges (mostly concerned that I was being charged $80 for carpet damage. My carpet was vacuum cleaned and not a single stain on the carpet. Amber told me there was no such thing as normal wear and tear on carpet, it was all considered damage. She said the lease says I must get the carpet professionally cleaned at move out. I read EVERY single document they gave me and it says NOTHING about the resident being responsible for carpet cleaning.-The pool is disgusting. They do not take care of it. Along with the volleyball court as well that they advertise they have-The workout room that is big enough for MAYBE 3 people at one time-Maintenance. Good luck getting anything done. My refrigerator was leaking upon move in, it took 4 maintenance requests to finally get it fixed. Same with the leak in my sink I had later on. They come and leave a notice saying they have fixed it, and it is not fixed.-PARKING. If you get home past 5:30 pm, good luck finding a parking spot.-The property has trash and dog poop all over it.-They advertise a gated community- the gate is broken 80% of the time.-Missing packages... on multiple occasions. I always received other peoples mail in my mailbox and had to take it to the office.-I could go on and on and on.You will regret signing a lease here. I can promise that. There is ONE pleasant thing about this place and that is Tim and Faye in the front office ! They will ALWAYS greet you with a smile and be attentive to your needs... which then get passed on to Deanna and Amber and thats where the smile and attentiveness is nowhere to be found.
No parking, trash everywhere, and bugs because of it. We live near the dumpster that is overflowed on a daily basis. I returned home today from a long day at work and received a notice of a violation because I have a ladder on my patio. Not trash, like everywhere else, a ladder. I expressed concern two months ago about a pit bull that is in the apartment above me. It is loud, and I have a 5 month old daughter. Pits are not allowed at these apartments. I was informed that the tenant above me did not pay a pet deposit. So not only does he have a pet, he has a pit!! And they are going to fine me for a ladder? This place is ridiculois!
We lived at the Wyatt for a couple of months while looking for a home in the area. The staff were extremly accomodating to work with our uncertain timeframe during the house search process and helped us arrive at the most cost-effective short-term solution that offered the maximum flexibilty. Their pet policy and reasonable short-term fees were what drew us to the The Wyatt. Furthermore, we were not disappointed while we lived there to discover the property offered so much more to make our stay safe, enjoyable and economical. When we had a question, it was addressed promptly by the staff to our satisfaction. To Irene, Allison, and staff, keep up the great work!
You have to check out @thewyattlifestyle and tell Diana we said hey!!!Their website and office is the cutest color coded apartment with some of the best business lunches every month.Large apartments. Great people. Great staff. Great Maintenance. What more can you ask for? Make sure you check out the additional pictures I attached. Just to hang out and meet new people you can just go to 5h4 office. And check out the pool online. Let them know #BeWellPC sent you!!!
My wife and I applied for an apartment there last week. I had notified them that I have an eviction from 10 years ago and its falling off my credit this month. They said thats fine as long as I could prove that I had paid the debt and have good rental history to back it up which I do now. They took 460 dollars and held it for a week before denying me the apartment due to the eviction they said was ok since I had court documents showing it was taken care of. The real kicker is they said they would be keeping 85 bucks for the application fee after basically allowing me to fill out the app knowing I would be denied. Now its been a chore to get the manager on the phone to get them to cut a check for the full amount since I was lied to by the leasing staff. This just goes to show that this is one of those complexes that doesnt care about you once you give them money. Dont lease here its a really beautiful complex with really crappy management.
Not satisfied with the way they charged a high amount of damages after your lease is up. I understand that’s how apartments are, but I had a pretty high amount and it did take me a long time to pay that amount back. What I AM upset about is the fact I paid back the collection agency that took over this apartment’s debt only to have Wyatt tell me they “never settle”. So basically I’ve been told by an agency “your amount has been paid total” just to be emailed by Wyatt saying “oh btw you still owe us this remaining balance.”I’m upset because of False hope. I spent my tax return to take that collection off my record. It felt good to take care of that and to get my credit back to where it should be. Now I’m frustrated and I don’t doubt there’s good employees there, I’m not taking anything away from them. But seriously, just sucks for someone to tell you your amount is paid off just to get an email saying you still owe.Would’ve rather just been told I had to pay full instead of being misled is all.
There is no enforced speed limit and they refuse to put in speed bumps despite recognizing that people drive through the complex too fast. Its very dangerous for small children and animals (I saw someone run over a dog and keep driving right outside my apartment). The office staff are incredibly rude and harrassed us many times for things that were neither in the lease, nor enforced for anybody else in the complex.
Weve been here about 6 months so far and it has been a mixed bag. PROS: nice interior features, nice flooring, open floor plans, garden tub, no problems with maintenance thus far, great shopping and dining really close by, and the people pretty much mind their own business. CONS: parking can be really tough if you get off work after 5 youre going to have to park 5 or 6 buildings away and trek in to your apartment because there just arent enough spots, trash is so far away you have to drive to it and its regularly overflowing, residents dont clean up after their pets as much as they should but the office does try to go around semi-regularly and clean up, water collects in pools around the place and mosquitoes love it, if youre living by one of the gates its so loud and people speed in and out constantly. The office staff is fine, nothing extraordinary in either direction. The price is a bit steep but not outrageous for the area. Weve had a pretty positive experience here but Im concerned about the summer because Ive heard there are lots of loud college age frat boy types that monopolize the pool all the time. Also, the walls are pretty thin so we hear our neighbors constantly (its not their fault, they have a toddler and all kids are noisy). I would recommend this place but choose an apartment near visitor parking because thats going to solve your biggest issue here. Ill post another review once summer is here and we get info on what kind of renewal options we receive from the property management company.
First, the complex itself is beautiful. Buildings were just repainted, the pool and sand volleyball court are excellent. The apartments themselves are nicely appointed, quiet, and comfortable. The complex is well-lit, and Ive never felt unsafe here. In fact, I lived almost the entire duration of my lease here with the utmost respect for this place. Now the reason for the one star. What has been said about parking is an understatement. The parking company they have controlling this complex patrols on a daily basis, regardless of whether or not anyone calls to report anything. There are few if any spots available for residents. The situation became so frustrating that I decided to spring for a reserved covered parking spot (at a ghastly $35/month for a piece of tin above your car). That worked wonders until I suddenly woke up to find my car had been towed from my own covered spot, without my having ever called them, nor them calling me. Due to the fact that I am pursuing legal action against B&M Management and Metro Parking Solutions, I am unable to give any more specifics of my incident. Suffice to say, the respect they have to their own residents in this complex is beyond subpar. I was warned about parking by leasing agents at nearby complexes and I only wish I would have heeded their advice. For a nice apartment complex in this wonderful area, I suggest Monterra across Interstate 35W on N Tarrant Pkwy, which is where I will probably be this fall instead of renewing a lease here. Also nice is Sagestone in Alliance Town Center. Comparable pricing and different parking regulations.
This place is terrible on parking. So first there was never enough parking, then they took a lot of visitor away, and made it to where you have to register your car and can only do it for 3 days out of the week. Now my friends car just got towed after only 30 minutes of being here. The tow truck driver came back and I asked him about it and they just put a sign up without ANY warning and are towing any car they can that just parks and don’t even have time to register their car. It is total bs on how changes like this are made without ANY warning. DONT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TOWED. And I have to give one star I wish I could put 0 stars because this place is a damn joke.
This is the final straw. Ive had so many problems since living here...but here are the main issues. Parking is a joke. The price that they charge compared to the quality of the apartment..is a joke. The straw that broke the camels back is the trash. Theres TRASH EVERYWHERE. I walked outside today and there was broken glass (that I ran over) in the street. Theres cardboard boxes littered everywhere..even under my car. Im glad Im moving. Ill never rent from here again.
Okay, I gave this place a 1 star rating in the past due to being EXTREMELY pissed about having to pay a dog deposit twice because my 1st money order wasnt entered before they crossed over to a newer system & they insisted that I didnt pay it.Ill stand by my word and say that I did pay my pet deposit the 1st time.Im upset that it took an entire year (after I renewed my lease) for them to realize that it was missing.FYI, Im reiterating the positives I mentioned in my previous review so I cant be called a hypocrite. And No, unfortunately I wasnt given any incentive to change my rating, I decided removing 1 star was fairer than only giving 1 star for an unfortunate event.Pet deposit aside, heres what I think of this place:The Wyatt is by far one of the best renting experiences Ive ever had.The location is great, the maintenance guys (Luis!) are awesome. The office staff is pretty nice too, especially Tim! Hes 1 of those guys that you just want to drink a beer with.Theres been a ton of construction in the areas which is both good and bad. Good: shopping, groceries and entertainment (Main Event, pottery painting place, etc.) is just within walking distance. Plus theres a cute little playground right across from the apartment complex for kids. The bad: Theres construction EVERYWHERE. Every time I blink, theres less green and more concrete. The traffic around the area has increased as well as a younger age group of people moving in...yes, Im young, but Id honestly prefer to live around seniors than a bunch of irresponsible adultsGuys in their muscle cars and big Tonka trucks whip through the parking lot and up the streets without considering all the kids in the area! Guys, if you want to pick up the ladies, the loud cars arent gonna cut it. Stop.Towing! Ok, theyre starting to enforce forward parking but in their defense (I swear they arent paying me for this) people really need to start parking forward. Im tired of walking on the sidewalk and 1/2 of a dang truck bed is covering the sidewalk!Parking forward eliminates/diminishes the problem. If I can barely walk down the sidewalk, then a disabled person would have to roll their wheelchair in the grass due to cars covering the side walk. FYI, this place have 1 bedroom handicap accessible units on the 1st floor. The landscaping is kept nice and clean, the leasing office is really nice and the pool area is nice as well kept.Theres no on-site laundry or fireplaces =( Those may be 2 annoying things but I have my own appliances now so its fine.I plan on renewing until I can put down a significant amount of money for a home, but until then, I plan on staying...well unless the rent gets too outrageous or I get a new job.Amber is the one that gave me the news about my pet deposit and I couldnt stand her. Once I removed the stick from my butt, I realized shes a pretty nice person. Ive worked in customer service and I realize how difficult it can be for people to get pissed when youre just doing your job.If youre in your 20s/30s with a stupid loud car, find somewhere else to live. If youre a bit more mature and your car is quiet, Welcome Home! Also, pick up your dog poop! Every time your dog poops on someones lawn, a puppy dies and its all your fault.
After reading the online reviews and knowing the parking issue before signing my lease, I was careful to choose an apartment on the right (east) side of the complex next to the visitor parking. I will say you get what you pay for: a great location, nice amenities, parking issues (I did see a tow truck nearly every day between 8 and 10 PM), and terrible property management.Move in October 2014:On Tuesday upon receiving the keys to my new apartment, I completed the move in walk through. The carpet was not cleaned as there was obvious ware in the living room just outside the kitchen island and bedroom just outside the closet. There was a small amount of dog or cat food in the living room corner. The fridge was not working due to a bad thermometer. These were not a big issue as I did not have the mover’s scheduled until later that week on Friday. I was told that the carpet would be cleaned and the fridge fixed on Thursday before my move in. Upon arriving Friday afternoon the carpet was still not cleaned however the fridge seemed to be working. The movers were already there and I had to turn in my keys to the apartment I was leaving the next day, so I had no choice but to move in. When I got up the next day to talk to the office about the carpets not being cleaned I realized that the fridge was not in fact fixed and all of my food was ruined. The office informed me that in order to have my carpets cleaned, I would have to move all of my stuff out of the apartment and it would need to be scheduled a week in advance. The office also told me that as I was not informed that the fridge was fixed, I would not be reimbursed for the $80.77 in food I had just parched. The fridge was finally fixed a few days later by taking the thermometer out of one of the display unit due to the part was on back order. I see no reason that this solution could have been done before my move in on Friday.April 2014:At the beginning of April 2014 which was the beginning of 4 weeks in rain, one of the storms that passed through blew 3 square foot of shingles off the roof of my apartment. I awoke to a leaking roof that was coming into my living room through the ceiling fan, air-condition vent, directly over my couch, and directly over my TV. Unfortunately due to the leak through the ceiling fan was leaking onto my coffee table and subsequently my x-box controller which was ruined. Due to the way the water would settle differently in my ceiling every day I was forced to move my furniture and buckets around daily. The office informed me that they could not have roofers fix the roof until it stopped raining (which is understandable), they could not move me temporarily into another apartment as several tenants were experiencing this issue, nor could they have a maintenance worker place a tarp over the spot with missing shingles due to insurance reasons. After 4 weeks of fung shui-ing my living room daily the roof was finally fixed. When I went to pay rent a few days later and being thankful that the entire situation was over, I was informed by the office that I would not be receiving a reduced rent nor would I be receiving compensation to replace my $60 x-box controller as this was “an act of god”. I will say that my request to repair my ceiling from the water damage and check for mold ended in a 1 inch by 2 foot hole cut in my ceiling and being repainted 3 different colors.Needless to say I was more than happy to sign my move out notice.
Ive only been here for three months and its the best apartment Ive been at. Very upgraded, nice interior, spacious for the price, the friendly staff makes it easier, and everyone Ive met in just this short amount of time is super sweet and polite. The pool is great too, with gas grills you can use at anytime. Perfect home.
Save your time and money, I would like to start off with the Assistant Manager Amber is So rude and very unprofessional. The maintenance is horrible, so if you’re reading this please stay away from even considering leasing here at the Wyatt. Rent is high, you definitely don’t get what you pay for in these apartments.
If you are a resident with one car you can still get toad for parking in a visitor spot even though that visitor spot is closer to your building than empty resident spots. Every guest has to register their car online to not get toad no matter the time of day. My fans in my apt move as slow as molasses and I can count every spin. No bulbs work in my dining room or kitchen because they charge 7 dollars to replace a bulb. 0 stars is more suitable. Also the bbq grills and water fountain by the pool are covered in bird s**t all the time. Literally all the time. The extra hundred dollars to live across the street at the nicer apts is worth it. Tried to unclick the one star I gave but it wouldn’t go away.
I want to say how great Diana was in helping me! Unfortunately all the properties Id lived at previously had sold to other management companies so I had no prior rental history due to this. She very amazing in helping me contact these places and get all the information I needed. What couldve been a very stressful, upsetting situation became a pleasant postive experience. All the while she constantly encouraged me that she was here to help assist me. Granted Ive only lived here a day or two, but her professionalism makes me glad to call this home! Thank you Diana! Also my daughter is super excited about the sand volleyball court right behind our apartment, because she eats, breathes and sleeps volleyball lol!
I was skeptical about moving here after reading all the horrible reviews but all in all, I love it. I did have an issue with the way the whole leasing process and how I ended up being short on signing but honestly couldve been avoided if I wouldve asked.Pool) went once, it was great but cant speak on it cause i dont really go.Trash) honestly have yet to have an issue, yes they only have one per street which may seem too little but I have yet to see it fill up.Parking) now I can clearly see how some people may get upset over this, it does get super crowded quite quickly but idk if its because Im in a great spot but I NEVER have to park more than a few spots away from my apartment. Theres always at least one spot open.Apartment) my main issue is that whom ever painted my apartment, honestly needs to either be retrained or fired. You can see each and every stroke he/she took. Again not a super serious issue but from someone who appreciates a well painted wall or door, it was bad. There are some thing you notice may be a little damaged but they give you 48hrs to claim everything so you dont get charged and they can fix it. To me that is more than enough. If in 48hrs you dont claim the issues then thats completely on you.Rent) Im paying 996 for a 1st floor, 1 bed, hardwood floor, 900 square ft. Added with how close you are to all the stores and restaurants, I feel like I pay a fair amount. At&t gave me problems setting up internet but then again what do you expect out of AT&T. Honestly my biggest issue was being forced to switch to AT&T.Im my honest opinion, give it a tour and look for yourself. I love it here and will be here for years to come.Btw Im only 19yrs old with my 18yr old girlfriend. So if we can afford this with avg paying job. I dont see why anyone else cant.
I paid my rent well before it was due every month for over a year and a half I moved due to lack of sleep from noisy nehighbors when I worked third shift, they will nickle and dime you when you move out and the apartment manager is not an experienced manager and does not know how to work with people and you will be swindled they turn apartments over constantly and there employees because the apartment manager treats people poorly plus there are kids yelling at the top of there lungs at any given hours of the day or night. If you have more then one vehicle they will harass you about where to park your vehicles even with a sticker on, and threaten to tow your extra vehicle and they use Excalibur towing. They also are slow on trash pick up they alow people to litter, and it attracts wild cats and other animals, they have one trash dumpester for multiple buildings and trash builds out to the parking lots. They will nickle amd dime you to trap you in if your a good paying customer and they revamp on deals when it comes to carpet cleaning and one time late payments after proven payment history. Im thinking of filing a bbb and a hud complaint due to the so called amout that I owed that I already paid they put it on my credit. I believe there discriminating based on disability. Do yourself a favor never rent out an apartment here, I went to Monterra and they treat me alot better.
Charging us for pet repairs when we did not have a pet. All the cars that are on Presidio vista Dr belong to the residence of this apartment complex Because the parking situation is messed up. When it rains the hallways flood, water was coming in though the front door. My Sister in law had her car towed within 30 minutes of getting registered. My gate key kept dying.
I write this review in an effort to inform prospective renters.* Was shown an apartment on August of 2017 and decided to move forward with an application on August 20th 2017 (and paid associated fees/deposits).* After two weeks of my follow-up regarding the application status, I was declined. The reason is still not entirely clear; by law I should have received a letter under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 and did not.* After waiting 30 days, I inquired as when I would receive my deposits back. Amber (assistant manager) informed me, we dont really know why you havent received a check but I will follow-up with my corporate office.* Now, as of November 13th 2017, I still have yet to receive a refund for my deposits. In my estimation, these people are criminal, incompetent or both.Sincerely,J Castillo
Apartment hunting itself is stressful but Irene made my experience wonderful. The Wyatt is lucky to have a person like her who is willing to help and answer any questions you may have. Irene provided me with all the information I needed and was quick to answer me at all times. Thank you Irene for being so kind and patient with me.
Beautiful property. The amenities are not as newer as some of the newer communities in the area, but they are very well kept and the property is well maintained. Maintenance is very responsive and the office staff is very involved in the community and we know and can see how much they value their residents.
My experience has been disappointing. The managing company is out of touch with reality and is operating on racial profiling and discrimination. They are asking me to put $1500 as deposit including applications fee. Where in the world does that happen? Only where the decision makers are driven by racial profiling and hatred. I make more than enough to afford the apartment, but I will not tolerate this. I will not live anywhere that have racism as their measuring stick.
We have been here for almost a year i have asthma and over the last few months it has gotten worse really bad especially when i would get in the bed coughing wheezing and stuffed up nose i didnt have any problems when i was out side but every time i came home the symptoms would start again at first i thought my medication needed to be reviewed turns out that was not the problem. One day my wife spotted some black stuff on the window seal turns out it was black mold i immediately started looking at all the windows in my apartment and discovered large spores of black mold in the window by my bed all the windows in my apartment had black mold the maintenance worker showed up with a squirt bottle of bleach that was so strong i had to stop him the fumes were overwhelming. if your allergies seem to be more than the ordinary check your windows for any kind of mold. overall it is a good place to live.
Ridiculous parking situation. Came to visit a friend for a few hours and got towed. They posted some sketchy signs at the broken gate when you enter but don’t do the courtesy of putting up simple signs to save people an ENORMOUS headache. The tow driver was back prowling around looking for another poor soul to crush while we were looking for our car. The tow company must be giving them huge kickbacks for allowing them free range on unsuspecting vehicles. Can’t wait to get a copy paste response from “management.”
My boyfriend lived here for a year. Never late hardly ever there. Apartment had roaches. Maintenance did not complete the request that was called for twice in the year there. At the time he moved out with pictures and receipts for new pans for the burners they still charged for numerous unecessary things. Staff at the office was rude and would not acknowledge anything we said. Do not move here. Spend the money somewhere else.
Applied back in December. Only thing wrong with my credit, is this would have been my first apartment. Paid for 2 application processings (me and my GF), $140. $125 for security deposit, and another $100 for pet reservation, both of which were assured to me would be refunded if my application was denied. Of course it was, so Im out $140... or so I thought. For the past 6 weeks Ive been leaving messages and speaking with representatives that need to speak with the financial manager for reimbursement of the $225 they still owe me (She doesnt ever seem to be at work). No phone calls returned, no emails responded to; I am now forced to seek retribution in small claims court. Dont ever apply here!
I’ve been here for 7 months and I love this place. I have had a great experience with the office staff. The manager, Amber, has always been a pleasure to deal with. The maintenance department have been quick to respond to what few problems I have had. It’s keep clean all the time.
I just wanted to take a second or two to recognize the effort that your maintenance team puts into clean up our dumpster areas. I’ve noticed that just about every morning, after the trash is picked up, your team does an AMAZING job in picking up the leftover trash and debris. Most days, it’s more than just a quick clean up, it’s more like an overhaul of the mess that’s left behind. I’ve witnessed day’s where tables, chairs, couches, old bookshelf’s, etc. have been left behind. Your team, without hesitation, does what it needs to, to make sure that on the next trash pickup, it’s in the dumpster. I’m sure their job, more times than not, gets unrecognized for the hard work and the extra effort they put into what they do.
We have been living here for more than 4 years and so grateful for the friendly staff there under new management and got our Shades replaced & NEW carpet and always hosting new events. I really have nothing bad to say and Im a big complainer so thank you thank you! They are always taken care of everything and on top of it 🙂
DO NOT RENT HERE!!! They will tow your car!! Mine got towed because my inspection sticker was out by 1 month! I guess that deemed my car abandoned so they towed it. It cost $300 to get it out of the lot. I have heard of 14 other residents this has happened to. THWY HAVE ALSO COME INTO MY APARTMENT WITHOUT WARNING!!!!! DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!
Location is nice, apartments are nice, but staff is unorganized and does not follow up on anything. I have been here sense july and would resign next year but the staff ignores my requests and never follows up on what they say. they did a poor job cleaning after previous owner.
Diana was a super friendly young lady to work with, we had to get in quick so she did a lot of work on her off time, had some trouble with previous apartments and she went out of her way to do the leg work needed to get the correct information and then on move in day we had some normal hiccups unrelated to the apartment complex and she stayed late to give us keys. Would definitely recommend working with Diana!
Wish I could give 0 stars. Poor management, rude staff, always finding ways to get more money out of you. Can’t own up to their mistakes.. I would not recommend this place to anyone . There are much better places for Cheaper Around here where you won’t get ripped off, I would suggest going to a different place to live.
In these apartments you can not live. This management is able to steal from its own residents. Cranes tow visiting cars for any minimal detail. They make a serious mistake in allowing the access of cranes and trailers to innocent visitors. I will look for the fairest way to report how many times this dirty act is necessary. Its a theft.

2022-06-07Wyatt is by far the cheapest WITH luxurious features. I recently took a tour and applied. The assistant manager answered all my questions regarding my unit and was helpful. During the application process the manager came out and made it so much easier for me. The staff is wonderful!

2022-06-02Although I personally do not live here, I have friends who do and I just have to say that this complex has the worst visitor parking section; on top of having a front gate that is almost always broken. There are maybe 10 visitor spots available for what appears to be the entire complex, and my car was towed all the way to downtown Fort Worth. I understand having parking regulations, but if a complex is going to be that strict with towing, then there should be more parking spots available as well as clearer signs indicating what is expected.

2022-06-18I just moved in a week ago, the staff is friendly and helpful but i havent had the best experience so far. The apartments dont come with washer/dryer and also dont have an on-site laundry mat and the appliances are old. The parking is RIDICULOUS. I have to park on the opposite side of the complex every day because there is never any parking available. I work night shifts often and when i get home, i have to park in the visitor parking every single time which is very far and sucks when the weather is bad. They need to have more parking spots for their residents who are paying well over $1k to live here. It’s ridiculous. My car got towed my first night here because my license plate was one number off. (Its 7720 and the paper said “7220”)when i signed it which i will say is my fault but i suffer from severe dyslexia so i didn’t realize it was wrong and i had to pick up my car from downtown fortworth and it cost me $326 to get it back.. all because of one number that could’ve been prevented if i didnt have a disability. Its been frustrating to say the least. They are extremely strict on their parking so if you have a visitor, register their cars right away because they do not waste any time towing.

2021-08-30These are the best apartments I’ve lived in, from the nice renovated apartments, to the awesome staff. Regan, Amber, and Erica helped me out with my application process to my move in process. It was easy and quick and I moved in, in no time. (There’s also an awesome pool and dog park) Highly recommend!

2021-08-29Employees will go in your apartment without permission, they nickel and dime you when you move out. Over $500 of just “cleaning fees” worst place for an apartment with no washer and dryer or even laundry unit on site.

2019-06-04I lived at the Wyatt for the last 2 years. It was the best apartment experience I have ever had. Apartment complex has updated features and lower rent than average in the area. Office and maintenance staff was consistent, kind, and easy to deal with. Upon move out, I had a seamless experience. Full deposit was returned and they even went above and beyond to help with my move out. If I ever move back to the area, I would definitely come back to the Wyatt. I know there are some bad reviews, but truly, if you just pay your rent and take care of the property, you won’t have any issues.

2020-02-04The staff here is the kindest I’ve ever had the pleasure in dealing with. They have made sure to make what could’ve been a stressful situation for us a smooth process. I highly recommend renting here. We even had an issue with the dishwasher and maintenance was there looking into within 5 minutes and fixed the next day. This has been a pleasurable experience for our family. Thank you Allison and other staff for being so great!

2019-10-16I LOVE the 6 months I spent at Wyatt. Its a quiet community, great location, and my maintenance requests were handled quickly and efficiently. The staff is so friendly, especially Irene. I bought a house, and my move out experience was trouble-free. Irene sent instructions after I gave notice, which made it thoughtless. She even followed up a few days beforehand. I would recommend them to anyone looking in the area.

2018-05-01As a mature pet owner, I enjoy this property. I have lived here over a year and a half. Why did I extend my lease? The property is clean, safe and quiet. There are newer properties with more amenities, however, they come with higher prices. The management staff will resolve your problems quickly. I have had 2 issues during my tenure, both were resolved within 24 hours. Pros: Renovated workout facility, great dog park and professional staff both office and maintenance. Cons: Tight parking
