They did a great job on my clock repair. A little pricey, but hey, when you are the only clock place in town you can do that. They do have adorable boxers in their shop.

I took an antique New Haven Clock in for repair, because it was making a noise. After over a week, I contacted them, they didnt call me, they told me they could not repair the clock, and the only option given was to de-vaule the clock by changing the movement to a cheap modern movement. A repair store, and they cannot repair a clock? They are like a tag-team, very deceitful, and untrusting. I believe its husband & wife. They still wanted me to pay $35 plus tax and were extremely rude when I told them I could have just left the clock on the mantle versus paying $35 plus tax and taking the clock home in the same condition. In fact, there were 2 chips in the marble case the clock did not arrive with, so they were also careless with this irreplaceable clock. Do not take your valueable time-pieces there. They are there to take your money, and work in dishonest ways, not to mention the 2 bull-dogs they have to intimate their customers who shove their snouts in your butt as soon as you walk in. Save your gasoline & your money. Take your clocks elsewhere, this is not the clock repair store you want your valuable clocks taken to.
I wished I had read the reviews that people wrote:(before I took my clock to these peoplemy only problem with the clock..... not keeping time (to slow)First of all, the owner is extremely unprofessional and arrogant. He actually told me on the phone that I was not his only customer very condescending.took them a month and three weeks to even make a decision on whether or not the it was repairable? (the balance had to be 100% in order for it to be accurate, they tell me) the balance is the tic-er an inch size gear swinging back and forth it is in plain sight once you open the back.To make matters worse once they assured me that the balance was 100% and the clock could be repaired and function-able and accurate I was ok..... or so I thought.No communication from them I called them back two weeks later.. The owners says it was not ok... may or may not be able to fix it...? and they made the decision for me after I explicitly said DO NOT DO ANYTHING to the clock if there is a un repairable problem with it aka BAD BALANCE (the clock would not keep correct time with a bad balance)...what did they do...?First and foremost I just wanted the clock to be accurate and ON TIME. The owner told me they would not do any repair if they were unsure of any balance issues.....The owner tells me.. he may not be able to fix the clock (the balance) to make it keep time but he still planed to charge me full price for the work done...?Even if it did not keep time...? In my opinion thats not right . This is a clock shop? clocks are to be accurate?. not to mention they wanted $275 to do this so called fix.In conclusion I do not trust them. they can keep the clock. Ill buy another one
My grandparents gave me their antique grandfather clock they received as a wedding present 1876. I and I found the Tic Toc Clock Shop and they did a fantastic job and even called me with updates on the procedure. I will never trust anyone else.
The is the second clock I have taken in to TicToc Clock Shop. It was my Grandmothers clock. The repair was worth every dollar. It was the first time it has run in twenty years! TicToc is the only place for me! I would definitley recommend it.

The best! I had a old cuckoo clock that never would keep time, brought it to them and it is running great! You can even call the shop and they will talk you thru it if it is a simple problem!

2019-03-16Went with my father as this is one of the few shops that we found that would work on a 31-day Schoolhouse clock. Owner is very knowledgeable, went through the cost of repairing his clock versus buying a new, gave realistic expectations on how long the repair would take. He usually keeps the door locked but there is a buzzer to ring in. Gave me his personal card as my brother also has a cuckoo clock that needs repairs. Said that if you send him pictures of the clock in the mechanisms he can usually give you a pretty firm estimate over the phone.

2015-11-11We brought our 12 year old cuckoo clock in last month for service and cleaning. Everyone was very helpful and upfront about the estimated cost. I was told a window of time that it would take to get the clock back, and guess what? Just like clockwork, they called me within that time frame to let me know my clock was ready. We brought it home and it is running like it was brand new again and they cleaned it so beautifully it looks just like it did the day we bought it in Germany! This is definitely the place to take your clock for quality service!! It is a bit of a drive for us to go there, but it is certainly worth it for the expertise and service!!

2020-05-29I had a very expensive cukoko grandfather clock I needed fixed. Tictoc was going to fix it at an extremely reasonable price, however their timeline was a little to long for me. My timeline was ridiculously short (under 2 weeks).They were nice enough to give me the name of another shop that mainly sells clocks but could repair it in my timeline. They Told me exactly what to say and who to ask for.My family has used tiktok for years and we have had nothing but perfect repairs. Them being nice enough give business away so I could get my clock fixed in time really shows they care about their customers above anything else.You won’t find a better shop.

2016-10-27The woman who answered the phone was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Answered my questions and was able to schedule an appointment the next day for the repair of my clock. The repairman arrived on time for the repair appointment, actually a few minutes early! He was able to repair my clock super quickly and took the time to explain how I could ensure it works without trouble in the future. I highly recommend these guys! My only regret is that I didnt call them sooner.

2018-08-15Just before I moved to Corpus Christi Tick Tock completely reworked my 20-30s Ingraham mantle clock. The spring that was installed is EXTREMELY tight. Even though its a 7-day clock, I must wind it every 3-days! Even strong 20-yr-old men complain! I would not recommend this shop; there is a better clock shop in Richardson.

2016-03-22Weve had 3 clocks fixed so far - all in the past 3-4 months. One of them had already been so-called fixed by 2 other clock repair shops and another of these 3 clocks had repairs attempted recently by another clock shop. None of the issues with these clocks were resolved but payment was certainly expected when we picked them up. We were very disappointed!That was those other guys. Not Tic Toc.Skip to today: All three are running smoothly and reliably now that the folks at Tic Toc have worked their magic. One of the 3 was fixed at no charge because they found their own sticker in it from a decade ago identifying work the previous owner had them do to it.We are very, very pleased with the services they have rendered.Their prices are not cheap - but show me any skilled service thats honestly valuable - and cheap. Doesnt exist. The days of $50 clock repairs disappeared with the 99% of the clockmakers of the past as they closed, retired or passed away. We are fortunate to have available to us the skills which survive at Tic Toc. For example, my retired father has to deliver or ship his antique clocks over 200 miles away from his residence to put them in the hands of a competent repair professional.The dogs mentioned in someone elses review are (yes, nosy) Boxers. But they are as sweet as sweet can be! Youll become their new best friend by just coming inside. Tell them NO if they try to be too friendly-just like you would if they were yours and trying to sniff you up. But if dogs bother you Im sure they will put them in a back room before you enter.I hope your experience with Tic Toc will be as satisfactory as have mine.

2015-03-10Took a 200 + year old clock to Tic Toc that my father had standing in his closet for 10 years and had been in our family for at least 70 years and within a short time it had been completely rejuvenated. Although it is a daily-wind clock I had never heard the chime it makes before I picked it up from tic toc. They did a great job and were very professional. I have taken another clock which I had overwound to them before and received great service then too. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!
