Definitely a unique place. This has become my favorite place to purchase loose leaf tea. Seems like they have a huge selection of black, green, white, and herbal teas. Coffee is pretty damn good also. They also have pastries and vegan Thia icecream that is pretty good! Good vibes in this colorful tea shop. Staff was courteous and knowledge, will let you take free sniffs at whichever tea you fancy.
Fantastic spot. My husband and I really enjoy coming here and bringing friends. The staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable both in English and Spanish! They have a great tea selection and smoothies. Sit on the patio and read a book. We also love taking our dog and sipping on tea. Must try!
Im a summer visiter to El Paso and was so thrilled to find such a little gem of a place. Theres definitely a chill vibe here. Theres a little patio to sit in out back and tea-related merchandise to purchase at the front of the store. Ive been back twice and got a delicious tea latte and a tasty açaí bowl. It is a bit pricey here but I can definitely see why. The fruits and veggies seemed very fresh and the girl that helped me out last time was very patient and kind. I would definitely recommend this as a study place or a cool place to hang out with friends. I would like to go back more often but it is a bit pricey but Im satisfied with saving it as a special treat place every now and then.
I always enjoy my experience at this location! The staff is super sweet and helpful, theyre always ready to answer any questions or offer recommendations. The inside offers a peaceful and zen environment. They also have a mini shop full of candles, tea sets, and mugs. The smoothies are always delicious, definitely a must visit!
The smoothie I bought was pretty tasty. Goji Monster or something like that. Nice employees behind the counter, not impatient. I am writing this from my car just after purchasing it. I dont think it will survive the ride back to my hotel. #Slurp I have one more week in El Paso. I might have to come back to try a different flavored smoothie, work permitting.
Tippi Teas. You are charming. You are cozy. You are eclectic. You have so many tasty offerings. You are simply adorable. If you couldnt guess it, I am an out-of-towner. So when I walked it and saw their menu, I had questions. And, I wasnt up to speed with all the different kinds of matcha you could have! The ladies working there were so incredibly patient with me. Answering all of my questions, offering me suggestions and inputs on their drinks. It was nice to chat for a bit.You could spend 20 minutes here. You could spend 2 hours here. Its the type of place you dont want to order and just leave. You want take in the wonderful space they have created.I had the matcha smoothie, and it was delicious! Plus, it was served in a cute mason jar since.HIGHLY recommend.
Fantastic spot. A little pricey -- $7 for a smoothie; $3-4 for a tea -- but you definitely taste the difference. They have a phenomenal selection of teas, and their vegan snacks are quite good, too. The holistic, mind-body vibes of the place are pretty cool and theyve got a patio with tree covering to enjoy the day. Hours are convenient, too. Highly recommend.
Excellent smoothies, however, matcha latte is my favorite. Their matcha latte is nothing like most coffee shops, not too sweet and u can definitely taste the matcha, very refreshing. Besides, a great spot to hang out and relax. By the way, the drink for the alien is missing 🤪
This place is seriously amazing. The menu of teas, smoothies, vegan ice cream, and more is so extensive, and the staff are very knowledgeable. The atmosphere is incredible and theres so much to look at. This is our new favorite place and well be bringing all of our friends and family here. Truly an experience you dont want to miss, and with great prices! Personal favorites: the Coconut Chai and the Cookies n Cream ice cream!
Very Good. A very different place compared to the vast majority of ice cream/tea places here. My first time seeing vegan ice cream being sold in EP. The place has a very relaxing/chilling vibe, and seems comfy and homey.Great for university students nearby to grab a treat while finishing school work. Will definitely go again to try out the teas that are being sold!
This place is unique. Great variety of teas that could be done at your liking. Staff are extremely nice, helpful, and willing to answer all questions. They also have other items other than tea like ice cream and muffins. Place has some creative decor and paint style perfect for pictures.
First time Ive been in this place. The place is really nice and comfortable. The decoration is very colorful and fun, the crew is friendly. The prices are a little up there but is worth it. We tried their vegan rolled ice cream and is delicious. I definitely will return pretty soon. I recommend this place 100%
Love their product, but terrible service today. Walked in without a previous online order to an empty store (so appeared it would be quick) and my order was put in line with online orders, so it took 25 min for two açaí bowls. It’s a poor business choice to make customers who walk in to order wait “in line” with those that order online. This made me late for an appointment and I had to entertain my toddler in a parking lot while we waited. Should not be punished for not ordering online. I was also not warned of the wait until after I had ordered and paid. I most certainly would have left if I had been properly warned that it would take almost half an hour for my order since I had somewhere to be and had my toddler. I’m happy that they are busy during this crazy time, but more thought should go into managing orders, and possibly more staff as the two women in there were working very hard. I did not complain to them, as I could tell they were following business practices and hard at work.
Tippi Teas is small but quaint establishment in the Kern Place area. Their niche is the loose tea that they sell in intricate containers. The names for all the teas are quite innovative and ingenious! I love the fact that they recommend items based off your favorite flavor types. I love the fact that you can take a whiff of what they are offering. The aromatics is the selling point. I ended up choosing one that had a black tea that was infused with a variety of citrus.Take the time to find some parking here and I promise you will not be disappointed!Customers here are very friendly and offer excellent conversation.
LOVE this place, its a little bit expensive but its worth it! The tea is so yummy and the vegan cookies are delicious!! I just wanna say that if the owner is reading this, I study botany and noticed your hanging plants by the window are overwatered and it seems they might have root rot, you guys never poked the drainage holes out from the pots so now the plants are drowning, just thought it might be helpful! If you want to fix it just cut off the rotted roots and re-pot it/ make sure the drainage holes are poked out! The place would look even cuter w well taken care of plants!
Ive been craving a metaphysical book shop with crystals and stuff since being in El Paso, but tippi teas is as close as can get to a metaphysical shop.I love love love the ambiance here, the teas, smoothies and vegan ice creams are great.I love that they sell loose herbal teas and they also sell all kinds of candles, hard to find herbs, sage, palo santo, himalyan salt lamps and a bunch of other great stuff. The west side location is very cozy. Ive been to the east side location as well as its closer to me but its nearly not as nice as this west side location. Its so cozy and great energy here.
I aways come here! Don’t have much to say because *it’s perfect and I love this place and it’s huge selection of teas, smoothies, baked goods, and wares. Love the matcha chai cookies!🌈✨I always forget about my rewards though, but it’s okay because everything here is super affordable! 😄
I was highly recommended to check out Tippi Teas this week. I’m from dfw and have been searching for a little piece of home away from home. I was so excited when arriving but left so disappointed. When we arrived we were greeted with a quick hello. We looked around and then made our way to the rows of teas. There were two staff members working and only two other people in the shop one for a very short amount of time who had already ordered and quickly received her tea. There is only a description for teas that are already prepackaged ready to buy but there are so many more options then the few prepackaged by the registers. Some are clearly written what they are others teas are mixes. With no menu visible it’s up to the staff to explain what each tea mix contains and the purpose. They have a menu board for some of their other offerings. When we were looking one of the staff members was just staring seemed impatient and annoyed. We ordered a smoothie and coffee. When we asked if the milk that comes in the coffee was almond milk per allergies we received a very snarky reply of we only use almond milk here. It took both of us a back but I tried to quickly brush it off since I was so interested in the teas they had on display. When waiting I tried to ask about one tea, one of the staff members quickly explained asked if I wanted to smell it. After I did she quickly shut the lid and put it back then went back to the section that was not visible from the counter. When received our order then went to sit down. We both felt super uncomfortable and unwelcome the entire time we were there. Both staff members were chatting in the back not visible for majority of the time. They seemed more interested in their conversation then anything else that was happening in the shop. I really wanted to know more about the teas offered and tried researching on Facebook and their website to find any info. I tried going back throughout Facebook posts and only had luck with a couple tea mixes that were explained. By then I was just so disappointed and upset that the two staff members were so rude , unhelpful and unfriendly. I was literally there in the shop and received no help or answers to my questions that I finished my smoothie quickly and decided not to purchase anything else. I really wanted to get multiple items to bring home but I couldn’t shake the bad taste in my mouth from their treatment. This is such a unique and valuable place in El Paso unfortunately it is such a shame that the horrible customer service we received took that away from it.
This place is a unique little treasure that provides a hip, tranquil vibe that is hard to come by in El Paso. The hand-prepared ice cream is a treat like none other Ive had before. As much art as confection, each serving demands tremendous attention and care that leaves the customer feeling like they are part of a special experience. Its also damn tasty. The friendly staff and the variety of juices, teas, and smoothies help to round out Tippi Teas into a one-of-a-kind, local gem.
I was so excited to come here and it’s so cute but the girl there was so rude. My drink was really watery and not good at all. When I asked if she could put more matcha to make the drink better she right away said no all rude and I said well it’s because it’s watery and she said “well that’s how the recipe is” . I ordered the matcha latte I don’t recommend it wasn’t good :/ my friend also asked her of any recommendations and the worker there seemed to be very uninterested in helping her . I’m really disappointed:/
I loved the decor and the calming atmosphere it creates. My daughter and I sat on the sofa at the entrance and we had a very nice time for an hour or so. Our drinks (matcha and kale/peach smoothie) were brought to us shortly after ordering. The drinks were also very good. I can see myself sitting on their porch reading or working on the computer all afternoon long :) maybe Ill try just that one of these days ...
I just want to say that kara Compton and shelby Ballard made my ice cream and coffee and it was awesome I think you guys have such wonderful ladies that work there I came all the way from ft Lauderdale Florida and I love your place I can promise you this Ill be coming back here every 6 months and thank you again for having such polite people there sincerely Tom Martin from pompano beach Florida
I am so happy to have found this gem 💎. I had just left a nice dinner date with my boyfriend and opted out of their dessert options and come try out Tippi Tea’s Vegan Rolled Icecream 😍 the worker was very pleasant and helped me decide on Cookies and Cream. Omg 🤤 nearly to die for! Exceptional quality. A must visit. I def plan to be back. SOON.
First time visiting and probably wont go back. Wasnt welcoming at all and the girls working just expected us to know what and how to order without any help. They were a bit impatient and even after we said it was our first time they werent helpful or patient. The teas are okay but the service is what did it for me to not want to go back. So unless you know how to order dont expect much help.
I will never go back here ever again! The wait was very long & there wasn’t much people in here. The workers are not very welcoming. The owner is very inconsiderate. I ordered their ice cream for myself & my kids. Wich by the way was VERY NASTY. I asked if we can switch it out for something different, the owner said “no I would have to purchase something else.” Do not go here!

2022-06-05Great relaxing stop in El Paso to get a refreshing Acaí bowl. We also got one of the green juices too which had ample ginger (the way I like it). The atmosphere was inviting and quiet and the restroom was clean. The lady who took out orders was very friendly and helpful. Airy and full of light space.

2021-10-22One of the best tea places I’ve been to in town, and pretty much my life, they have a very large variety of teas and merchandise, the staff seem to know what they’re doing and what they’re actually talking about, and are pretty chill in general. The atmosphere of the building itself is very homey, and personally I feel very comfortable sitting there and just being able to think and not really have to worry about judging eyes. For people going there for the first time, try a white tea with sweetener, or ask one of the staff members for a recommendation.Overall, amazing tea shop with a great atmosphere that I couldn’t find anywhere else in El Paso.

2021-11-08Tippi Teas is amazing! The smoothies are excellent, but way too small, and the matcha ice cream is super good. If I had an endless wallet I would definitely buy multiple drinks here every visit. Great locations too, they serve each side of town. And nice artistic decor.

2021-10-14Have you ever eaten something so yummy you think about it all the time? This smoothie bowl…. So good. 10/10 rec. Unsweetened hot calming tea to go with … perfect study spot. +10 pts for all the cute dogs who hang on the patio.

2021-04-12My friend brought me here today and I am ashamed to say that I have lived 1 miles from this place for a year and have never been.It has officially won my heart as THE place to go study/work. Its a small, quaint tea shop with immaculate vibes. The tea is a little pricey but nothing outrageous in my opinion.I tried the Golden Monkey tea in a latte and was very satisfied. The boldness of the tea worked so well with the milk and agave to make it a very relaxing yet exciting tea experience.I highly recommend if you want to have a long chat with someone or just want to grind out your studying/work. My only qualm would be that the booths are not very ergonomically friendly so I had to adjust how I was sitting often.Give it a try!

2019-08-19If youre into tea, TIPPI TEAS is the one for you. The atmosphere and aesthetic of the whole building was very pleasing. They have lots of items to choose from and as well as mugs, teas cups and tea itself. A MUST to go if you are ever in the area. Even if you arent, swing on by. Very appealing and the music plus smell in there will do you good.
