Not the same as it use to be. The way its set up now it looks like a typical goodwill store. I use to do all my shopping there. The clothes were of good quality and discounted. The selections were great. Never took me long to find several items of my taste. Those days are gone. Wont be shopping there anymore 😕.
Pallets was on the floor , store looks like Christmas I guess all the merchandise now coming in , its almost February mark that stuff down. It was. Messy location and staffing look over work. Store Manager was not Friendly. Several customers was complaining about the long lines and poor store condition.
The manager was really rude i went to clean the store and i was finishing up and referred to me as that girl she couldve easily asked for my name and after i was about to leave the store was already open and starts yelling to me infront of the customers and starts talking to me rudely that is maladministration they need to hire a manger with good and friendly service it was a hispanic lady with glasses
They act like theres a bag shortage!! We bought a glass cake stand from wedding section, she tried to put it in the bag with the clothes ....and...with no paper wrapping or anything!!!! With the cheap quality of bags that would have been on the ground before we got to the door!
Can you tell if something will fit you just by looking at it? Because I cant. Once you wear an item it is used and worn, and cant be returned. Since you cant try on the stuff, can you be blamed for buying it if it looks like itll fit you, only to want to return it when you find out it doesnt?If you do, just dont mention to the cashier that youre returning an item because it didnt fit, since that means they wont accept it. Maybe tell them you bought it for someone else and you misheard what size they were, I dont know, all I know is I cant return a pefectly good item that I would have known didnt fit me if I had actually been allowed to try it on
They used to have a lot of attractive items... Sadly today I couldnt find mens shoes, at all, womens shoes and clothes were extremely limited.I think that is due to the pandemic.... It was sad to see it kind of empty.... I had to go to another store to get what I was looking for...
Me and my wife went and bought jewelry from this location. The clerk seemed to be more focused and preoccupied with another individual. That had no intentions of purchasing anything. He was pretty much was just wasting her time.Considering we were there first. That really didnt seem to matter to her. Not only was she unfocused. But upon getting home. We noticed she didnt even remove the sensor from the necklace. This is definitely poor customer service. Because now we had to drive back to another location. And get this monitor removed. Because of her lack of professionalism and customer service skills. Didnt go off leaving out. But definitely went off coming into the other location. And that is really embarrassing and unnecessary.
I love this store. I was just browsing and I found an hour glass that Ive been searching for. They have a separate section for the home and food items. It was cool to be able to walk over to that section and see only items for the home such as furniture, cookware, specialty food items and home decor. I will be back.
I found some great buys and was very happy until check out. I had two small children and had purchased some heavy items. I couldnt believe that the cashier told me to leave my cart inside the store. Now with two toddlers, heavy bags, how am I supposed to everything to my car. This was my first time at this store and MY LAST!!!!
I’m thinking a little constructive criticism may be helpful for this location. I’ve been shopping here for decades and it seems that employees are very passive about long checkout lines recently. Normally I wouldn’t think twice about getting behind 8 people to check out, but today, as I stood there for 25 minutes , I watched 3 different employees walk away from the front desk to do other things while there were only two cashiers and one of those was dealing with a “return issue”. The line continued to get longer. I thought they would call for backup cashiers. Nope.Please get back to the way it used to be ..... pretty please ? 😬
Always a variety of things to purchase. Decent prices; staffs a bit on the rude side. Dont expect them to be helpful either. The place gets a bit messy (items all over the place, clothes on the floor, open boxes of make-up / nail polish, etc), but again, the prices are decent and that alone earns this place four stars (would be five if the staff wasnt SOOOO rude).
The worst TJ MAXX. I went into the store to purchase a Kate Spade jacket and was told I could not try it on due to COVID-19 and the dressing rooms were not opened. I understand the restrictions but a dressing room was not required:it was a jacket. I have shopped at various high end stores during these difficult times and have tried on and purchased blazers, jackets and coats which only required a mirror. I was humiliated and embarrassed while looking into the store mirror and was told by the store manager to remove the jacket. However, I proudly removed the jacket and kept my 120.00 in purse. Your lost and my gain. I am a woman of color and will never, ever shop at your store.
Debbie S was our cashier and we were making a return, when we were at the register we did not have the plastic bags the clothes came in and she started to say we need that to make our returns and she even asked if we could go back home and get them. She acted as if it was impossible to make a new tag. She kept on pushing the point that it would have been easier for her if we had come with the bags with the label and she had an attitude that now it’s going to take time to make a tag for the clothes. Once she was done making the labels she told us the total of our refund and we asked her to check if the sales tax was correct. She said the tax online is different than the stores tax. We showed her on the receipt the amount we expected in return her response was “If it’s pennies that you want back than ok”. Her attitude was absolutely unprofessional and that is not what customer service is about. I will be telling others about this horrible experience .
Bought an item online (Creed cologne) that when I received it was a used item. Took the item to my local store, Arlington, TX (Cooper Street) to return the clearly used item. The cashier called the manager on duty, Conley Lester to the front and he refused to accept my return because it was damaged. He was incredibly rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. He said that he would not take the item back since it was damaged. The item was received at my home that very same day, a third of a bottle missing, the bottle looked used and the product box it came it also appeared dingy and used. I tried to explain that the item was delivered that day, and it came that way, had he taken the time to look at the receipt he would have seen that. All he did was put my cologne bottle and product box back into the shipping box and tell me he wouldn’t take it back. He couldn’t be bothered to put the cologne ($250.00 bottle) and packing back inside the product box. Incredibly unprofessional. Please consider new management. I have spent thousands of dollars with TJMaxx over the years, but due to this treatment I will not return to this location.
You can find some good deals here on their clothing and their home goods. But the disorganization is unbelievable. Things are thrown around everywhere. Prepare to wait in line for a while and once you do get to check out, prepare for attitude. Had a lady try to accuse me of shoplifting because my cashier didnt put the bed set I bought in a bag. Of course she didnt, Its a flippin bed set!! Its huge!! Didnt apologize when I showed her the receipt. Embarrassing and unacceptable!
A majority of the employees were pleasant to be around. Actually, all of the employees were pleasant besides this lady named Des. Des not only treated me as a customer poorly, but also her fellow employees. Im not sure if shes the manager, but she was incredibly bossy and rude. As a manager myself, I would never treat my employees or customers the way she treats hers. As a individual who is in the retail business, you should carry a positive attitude and treat the individuals around you with respect. She did not do that. I will not be coming back and, although Des gave me an unpleasant experience, I do hope that she will have a positive future and mindset.
Not a very good selection. The fitting room employees were kind of friendly although they were more occupied with talking with each other. The home area was a hot mess, everything was just kind of thrown into the shelves. Ive been to other TJ Maxxs and this is by no means the worst but its not my favorite.
Young Employees need to be educated better when working the register. Not pleased with the want to be multi Tasker letting other customers jump in front of me while i was trying to check out. Very disrespectful and will not return to the TJ Maxx store in the parks mall. Very disappointed.
My favorite thing to buy here is baby items, I’ve been able to find some amazing deals.They have a large selection of juniors clothing as well. I do think Burlington has better prices when it comes to junior clothes (it was difficult to find any tops under $10 at TJ Maxx whereas I found several at Burlington) but that may be because Burlington carries brands that were cheaper to begin with. TJ Maxx definitely had a better selection of shorts and bottoms.
Extremely poor custo.er service. The checkout line was extremely long , had been in line for twenty mins and there were only 2 people on the registers. I asked the store manager if anyone was available to assist, he looked at never said a word and turned around to continue whatever he was doing. Wont be back
Absolutely terrible customer service. The manager, I believe his name was Conley, was beyond rude and extremely unprofessional. If I could give this store and it’s staff one star I would. I am absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated and disrespected. I will never shop here again.
We always love TJ Maxx usually for home furnishings, plants, towels, kids toys and clothes. The downside is they only have a few of each item, sizes are random in clothing so if its there grab it then because it wont be there later. Clothing also is usually scattered so you have to look around for what you want. This particular location does not offer as much clearance items as other TJ Maxx stores Ive visited. Arlington is just right because of the stadium I guess. My favorite TJ Maxxs have red tags throughout the store but at this location you really have to search for them. Good quality items usually.

2022-04-06I paid regular price for something thats not complete or already damaged , plus the people working here still give me a hard time .I hate to leave bad review but I have to share my bad experience .My friend asked me to help her get something from this store , I dont normally shop here so I spent a long time but still cant find the area where put all the face sheet masks, finally I found one piece of item ,so I went to ask assistant : Excuse me, would you help me find this kind of face sheet mask? It doesnt has to be exactly the same ,anything similar is fine . She just glanced the item and told me : I dont know , maybe you can come back to check store later That was nothing else but attitude problem !So I spent longer time since I cant get any help ... In the end I found the area I am looking for , but a lot of packages were torn off , The goods are placed in the wrong place ,some items have no price tag.When I check out, the cashier gave me difficulty because the item I wanted had no price tag on it. She repeatedly asked me if I had any other products of the same brand, so I have to go back to find same brand similar product that has price tag on it . Everyone else in the line have to wait for me to come back and get the price for cashier...... THATS REALLY NOT PROFESSIONAL .I felt so bad to let innocent people wait for me to check out .I didnt do anything wrong. Im just a customer who wants to buy something ,but I have to be punished by someone who tear the label or even whole package.Now I really appreciate SEPHORA ,they take great care of me everytime I need . Its not worthy to spend your money and be treated like that here.
