This is an awesome store. The staff is always welcoming, Texas friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about everything for your pet. Shop here, at a locally owned business, and you will never set foot in big-box pet store again. Need info on almost anything for your pet? The helpful staff will have the answer, or will find the answer. In my 30+ years living in Austin, Ive seen many changes. The one constant for finding only the best for my pet is Tomlinsons.
The best place to get pet food and supplies. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Its a great local company with several locations in the Austin area. As a bonus, they are active in promoting/ hosting pet adoption events.
Shopping local is so important and this wonderful pet store has EVERYTHING!
Really nice staff and the self-serve bathing station is perfect for my pooch. Take as much time as you need in there, and ue the high quality shampoo and conditioners that are included in the reasonable price (about $15) Best place to get my pups luxurious locks to Glamour Shots status.
The people that work there are not very friendly and wont let you use their bathroom when they are doing dog teeth cleanings. The Lakeway store is much more helpful and friendly.

Jeff (the tall guy with the beard) is the most knowledgeable and helpful guy and I always enjoy buying dog food there. The cow horns are special treats too. Love Tomlinsons!

2021-07-15This place is literally spotless every time I come in. So beautifully clean for a pet store. Of course the products are one of kind and the toy selection is top notch for large dogs. If I did not live so far I would go here everyday. Planning to come back next time I’m on this side of the town.The staff is always super friendly and attentive too. Not pushy or too in your face either which is nice with all the pet stores you see out there today.

2020-11-25We have a new dog and she is very scared. We took her to get fitted with collar and harness and the employees helped to calm her. They are great. This will definitely be our pet headquarters.

2018-05-31Very helpful and friendly staff. I trust their suggestions. My dog has been happy with the diet (shhhh...dont tell) food they recommended. Hes a good boy, so Ill get him a frozen bones next time I go.
