Staff got angry when we asked for a stupid spoon to eat rice with and said we were asking for too much after we asked for salsa for our tacos. Staff got so frustrated with simple requests that they had to call the cops and didn’t let us finish our food despite the fact that they had already charged us. Not to mention that they kicked out a man who was defending us. Horrible establishment.

The staff is very friendly and they make you feel welcomed, thats why I always go back. The food is good, but a tad bit overpriced. Still worth to try. Their champurado during winter is delish
Truly terrible place, service was horrendous. Do not show prices on overhead menus and therefore are not consistent or honest on prices. Tried charging me $28 for 6 gorditas, but when my wife goes who is Hispanic it is only $12. Totally pathetic! Plus not too mention the place is filthy.

Bought two LARGE MENUDOS for $15 each and bought one pound of Barbacoa, had no issues with the taste BUT you guys those are not LARGE i got one small bowl of menudo out of each container LOL its all water !! SMH and im complaining because every where you buy a LARGE Menudo at least two people can eat! Never going back
Its the fourth time Ive bought tamales and the ones with rajas con queso came out raw, I told the cashier and she insisted that they were soggy because they had just come out but literally its like chewing freshly made dough! Its okay to want to sell fast but you have to wait until the tamales are completely sewn
Until 4 months ago it was the place where I liked tamales the most today was the 5th time that they literally came out super raw I practically bought tamales to finish sewing them at home! I definitely will not go back to the place and much less recommend buying there

Personally, I like this place, the people are very kind, the only thing I dont like is the parking lot, almost not there, and it is very risky to have an acsident because of the cars that have passed
I love tortillas here but I just got there and not that bad service. First they tell me if there is a language and they charge me $ 14 / pound. They leave me waiting 10 minutes and another lady comes and tells me that there is no language, just barbecue. I said okay. 5 minutes later they give me the meat. I get to my house and I can and the meat is super salty. Not just that but the dried lemons and the almost black coriander. The sauce doesnt even taste like anything. I dont know if they changed cooks, but the food was bad. My dad threw the tacos in the trash and pos now how to claim. That yes food I will not buy from there. Only tortillas and that if they give me service for this message that I put. Their sign says they have the right to deny service to people. But I give them 3 stars for the tortillas !!!

Authentic family owned and ran,tortillas are like moms homemade by hand,everythings delicious and homemade,the store front is walking into the real tortilla home factory!!! Owners are pleasantly hometown people,they care greatly to satisfying detail in their food products,from menudo to bakery from scratch,go meet them and have a great meal like family , pick up is fast and curious, I would pay any price! Just to taste home again, but prices are reasonable, New menu located in front! Not to mention the building is original balch springs old historical building from the 1960s ,I like to use it in photography, go see!! I love it!!! Your always welcome! Say hello to a original mexicano!! Your welcome, the garden says Happy Easter families!and a side addition.son sells awesome cars individually.psymentd too! Only the cool rides tho! Come see!! And eat authentic!!! Welcome!!

2022-02-05Baught a caldo de res for 15$ and it was half fullThe lady behind me baught a menudo and it was full. The cashier said its because thats how it is with the caldo .One piece of beef and no vegtabes for 15 bucks. Just watch out guys because that caldo de res is more expensive. Even tho you buying the cup size.Dont buy here. Dont get ripped offNd let me tell you also how long they took to give me my food.

2021-01-04The tamales were good but I placed a large order.... They placed all them together so I could not count them but I did so when I got home I was missing a dozen of tamales I tried calling and they would pick up the phone and hang it up I guess because no one would say anything.... I didnt go all the way back because I live to far to return..

2020-12-06Really only caterers to Hispanics. Get your tamales early in the day( before noon) or youll be left out. Their pretty good and priced right.

2020-09-03Really great burger I definitely recommend. Easily the best burger place in miles. Fries have a nice fluff to them that I really enjoy. Can’t wait to go back.
