When it first opened I would’ve given it five stars, because they have great equipment, and the gym is fairly large and roomy. But as time has passed, I’ve noticed that a lot of the machines and cardio equipment is either out of order, or doesn’t function properly, and it doesn’t seem like it ever gets fixed. Machines sit for weeks with out of order signs on them, and the number of working treadmills is dwindling. I don’t know if it’s because the memberships are so cheap that they don’t have the money to fix this, but I’m on the verge of canceling and just going back to golds. It’s a shame, because it has the potential to be a great gym.
Love this gym, Id like to state that it is easy going, and it works just right for me. Enjoy staff I have come across and their energy and especially appreciate and love the ladies in the childcare center. They are all so good to my girls and I definitely have a clear mind when working out. I especially love Theresa who is super great with my youngest in the mornings. Keep it up yall.
The gym had nice equipment and a nice crowd of people in the evenings. Also, they hired a new janitor who was quick and prompt to empty the trash out.My 1 star review comes from the fact that I have been given misleading information. I was hesitant to sign up for a monthly subscription because I would only be in the city for 3 months. The employee at the time told me it would be easy for me to cancel just as long as I showed proof that I moved out of state.Well come 3 months later, and I asked to cancel my membership because I would be leaving the state to start work AND I would be moving after I finished my contract. The new employee gave me a paper to sign for cancellation and a number to call and stated it would be cancelled September but they would charge me on October. I stated my understanding, but was displeased to find out I was still being charged on November. I was told to email the manager. I did. She refused to cancel my membership because of a technicality. The fact that my lease was short term and that it ended in December, further stating that they could “freeze my account temporarily” but I would still be charged.“??????!!!”I explained that yes, my contract ends in December. But I am also moving to another city when I come back. I was asked that I provide a copy of my lease. I did. I’ve sent 4 emails, and it’s been 5 days. No reply. However she was quick to deny me my cancellation when I asked. As soon as I brought my lease up, I have heard nothing but crickets.***** update: was just Informed my membership was cancelled. So I’m happy with that. Here’s to hoping I won’t be charged next month.***** update: Wasn’t charged thankfully.
The gym is decent. However the staff is quite rude when it comes to comes to canceling a membership and had me driving to the location many times because they “needed a manager” ( I drove to the location about 5 times to cancel my membership in April but I still continued to get changed in July after my contract had ended). Theirs never toiletry in the women bathroom, which Lacks maintenance, and is never full with cleaning sprays next to the workout equipment. Overall I’ve had many bad experiences at this gym.
I love the kids club staff, they are so good with my kids. Teresa was very patient with my little one who didnt want me to leave today. She made it a really good experience and when I picked them up he was asking me to go back!The gym is also really great and the staff are friendly and helpful!
I enjoy working out at trufit. However, there are some issues that need to be addressed. These are the issues that need to be addressed. The dumbbells are never in order. They are always missing either on the ground, in a different area, or next to different machine. It is annoying whenever I go to use the dumbbell’s and I have to search for them. At all the other gyms I’ve gone to such as Lifetime, Golds, or La Fitness. The Dumbbell’s are always in order. Wether the people put them in order or the staff. Also some machines have wear in them and need to be repaired or updated. As well as attachments to the cable machines. Half of them are torn or messed up. Yes this is a GOOD gym, GOOD pricing, GOOD atmosphere, and a very likable staff always friendly.
Scam artists. They continue to bill your bank account despite you confirming cancelation with them in person and signing their proper paper work 30 day notice forms. After many phone calls - they give you the run around and laugh at you on the phone. GM lies and she attempts to get money from you in hopes that her “request” to refund your false Billings... will go through. They won’t. She doesn’t do her job and the others must not pressure her to put in the paperwork for cancellations. She isn’t putting them through as the billing cycles are continuing despite them saying you have no more payments or amounts that will be withdrawn. Steer clear of this location because they laugh at you. Try to use a card you can change NOT a bank account because they have fraudulent business practices and won’t go far as employees. Intelligence perhaps an all time low. Can’t even explain their contracts, fees, promos, hidden fees, etc. Trainers are great, front desk great, maintenance keeps it clean and tidy - management and billing need a lot of work. Edit: replying to my negative review saying you take them seriously does nothing to remedy the countless complaints regarding the same subject. Fix the problem. Issue refunds. Stop stealing people’s hard earned funds.
I had a membership at this location for a year. Careful about what you sign. At first I was so excited to go to a gym with so many fancy machines and a womens area. However I would go to the gym every other day and see the same trash, band-aid, fake nail on the floor of the womens locker room. There were stagnant puddles of water in the womens locker room too. Its gross, despite what they say they do not prioritize cleaning. Also when I looked into possibly getting fitness training through the gym, the head trainer advertised the first workout session as just that, a work out session! instead it was 2 hours of him telling me my legs were shaped wrong and that I was bound to hurt myself by working out with out help from a trainer. That could be true or just pushy sales technique. But either way I was hopping to get sweaty and get a good workout in during my session and it was just a waste of time 2 hour sales pitch.
Truly disappointed. I signed up for this gym because it was the closet gym to me. I was told when I signed up that the punching bag room was available for use at anytime. I came in for my first time and was told that the policy has changed and that it will no longer be available for use except during classes. This is was a TRU disappointment. I hope management changes this decision because I would love to continue my membership. If not then count me out.
Natalia was the worst. I have never been so disrespected when I started coming to this gym. I asked some simple questions and thrown so much attitude to. Never have I had my time wasted at the gym. Lost an hour of my workout time. She was also very clueless about the rewards and the barcode.
Staff sounds either rude or completely lost like this isn’t their job. Don’t even sound like they want to find the answer for you. Maybe that’s on account of them being just young kids most of the time. While I appreciate the womens only section I’ve never gotten sick more in my life than I have touching anything in there. The locker rooms are rarely clean. Hair and makeup all over the counters. Water all over. Maybe this particular issue is a community issue and not exactly staff it’s just sad that we’re adults and WOMEN in that matter and the cleanliness is horrendous. So be sure to wipe equipment down before using not only after.
Updating my previous review after seeing bathrooms in an unappealing condition. My last few recent visits have had all situations addressed, bathrooms are fully stocked and locks work as they should. I also see more people moving throughput the gym keeping it in good condition and tidy appearance. Thanks for keeping your facilities looking great!
Update below!I will add pictures soon!Location is great and hours are spectacular! However, there isn’t a dedicated staff to clean the gym. It is the dirtiest gym I have ever been to.Ladies restroom has toilet paper everywhere, floors are not clean. My boyfriend says the male restroom is the same level of dirtiness. The ladies area to workout is super dirty. Everything is everywhere, glass has hand stains from years ago and the carpet has a lot of dirt.Main floor, it’s slightly more. I hope people do clean after themselves but there isn’t paper towels to clean after a set. Spills and stains are left alone for the day too. The studios are decent but. Like all the other areas. It needs a good sweeping and mopping. Last but not least… the basketball court. It has holes on the walls due to no padding. And the floors are dirty. Please please hire people to clean the gym. The floor staff are unable to clean properly. And due to the high traffic location and hours this gym needs to pay attention to cleaning properly and having proper tools to clean up after a set.Update. 08/26/2022Things are better! Restrooms do need tlc. However the main gym area is cleaner! More sprays available and paper towels to clean machines. Basketball court has padding! But people do leave trash everywhere…smh but those are members. So far it’s a gym to get things done. Am still looking for another gym to call it a homeGym. Some pics wish I had before and after but this is better. Still looking for gym community. Maybe five or more time? We shall see!
This gym has so much potential and is in a great location. Has a large space but organization of equipment is pretty terrible. There was staff there, yet the bathroom was a mess, no paper towels in mens bathroom, water fountains out of order.The Owner or GM needs to spend more time here and get this place turned around as the potential for growth with a clean working facility is huge!
I am blessed to have been apart of the trufit team at park north. Wonderful Managers and team. But they have never resolved my issue with being charged on my credit card for prior member services even though I filled out 2 times a cancellation form for membership the trufit company for some reason is still charging my credit card over $100 a month. No one has seemed to resolve this issue but I hope someone reaches out to me to resolve the issue.
I went in thinking I was signing up for a $10month gym. Went in for the initial consultation and they signed me up (without my consent) for personal training. Since April 2022 - July 2022 I have been charged $833. They keep dodging my phone calls or giving me the old “our manager is out right now”. I’ve been getting nothing but the run around. It’s ridiculous to be charged this much and disappointing as it looked to be a promising gym when I first visited. I have yet to receive any calls or refunds.
Lisa Scott is an amazing and a very experience Front desk agent she is very friendly and very helpful , If you are having a bad day she always has good jokes that will make your smile 😃I can say Im very happy with this Gym membership , location and staff keep up the good work guys !!Lisa Also informed me today that this gym is going to be open 24/7 soon so this literally made my day alot better !!!! 😁
Update: 7/11/22Marked the review down from 5 stars to 3 because this has to be the only gym in San Antonio that doesn’t offer free wifi to their guests. They also have a ton of TV’s in the cardio area but none are hardly ever turned on but the TV’s in the weight section are all turned on. Makes a lot of sense.So far I’ve only been once to this facility but they have a huge selection of equipment. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Major plus is that they are open 24/7. The only downside I experienced was that one of the “trainers” tried to come and have a conversation with me while I was on the elliptical listening to music. Much rather he would’ve waited until I was done working out.
Daniel at the patbooker location is one of the best trainers ive ever trained with. He is patient, energetic, encouraging and genuinely cares. He wants to help you reach your goals. He is very knowledgeable and super helpful. Even set up a meal plan for me. I finally know what I’m actually supposed to be doing too reach my goals. Thank you so much Daniel for all your continued help.
Had a salesman mislead me into signing up for a month to month gym membership. A year later received a call from a law office “Edwards & Cain”saying they are taking legal action against failure to pay full contract so I owe almost $800. Never went to the gym once, 😂Never in my life have I had a gym actually take legal action over a missed payment on a gym membership.Beware, also was told it’s a $250 cancel fee for said contract If I wanted to pay today, but they refused to send contract over to me?Shady shady shady.
So i’ve asked them consistently to cancel my account since April 2021, i’ve even spoke to the manager and even sent them emails following their rules. the manager even advised me that it had been taken care of.. but every month i find a bank statement by TruFit. now they won’t answer my emails.
Love AnaLauras Body Pump class at Trufit Park North. What a blast! Its one of my favorites! Wish she had class on Mondays at 600pm again!Shes an awesome instructor! My other favorite is Josephs zumba class. They are both so personable, outgoing, and make working out fun!
SOOOO frustrating to deal with. Started training sessions and was told I can cancel or change sessions at any time. About two months after getting my weekly sessions my work schedule changed and I asked my trainer if we can work around my schedule. He said that wouldn’t be a problem… The trainer I started with suddenly turned my sessions over to an instructor without notice. I reached out to remove the training sessions as I was still adjusting to my new schedule… my trainer said he would remove them. Next billing cycle I was billed again… I asked why that was and Steven told me that he would have Amber look into it and reach out to me.. she never called. Another billing cycle went by and I was charged again. I called the gym on several occasions and was told either amber wasn’t in or that she would contact me soon. I stopped my gym sessions on April 24 and to this day I’m still getting billed! OVER $300 later.
WATCH OUT! CRIMINALS LOVE THIS GYMS PARKING LOTMy vehicle was broken into and I’ve seen other vehicles broken into and when I reported it to the management they barely cared and didn’t seem to mind that their customers vehicles aren’t safe in their parking lot. Never called the police or watch their parking lot.Park at your own risk.
I had been at trufit since I was in high school back home & moving to SA made this transition process so much easier having a welcoming person working up at the front,Natalia!Made me feel at home & was very eager,informative ,friendly & helpful!Natalia made my experience a 10/10!
Very disappointed in this location. I was 100% satisfied with my trainer, however once they received a promotion I was told I had to change my sessions to a different trainer and time and the only limited options wouldnt work with my work and school schedule, which is fine. Ive been trying to cancel my private trainer which is $90 a week however, Im getting the run around. I was told this morning that the manager was in but not available at all today and for me to try again tomorrow but they honestly didnt know when I could actually speak to them tomorrow. I tried calling member maintenance but just got a voice mail. So upsetting that they were quick to take my money but refuse to just cancel my membership without having to speak to a manager who is never available.
Really upset I cancel the employees didn’t file my paper work. My membership was only a year, now there. Sending me delinquent notice. The staff don’t have my paper work I signed and tell my I did not sign anything. They did not give me a copy called costumer service. Their threading to send it to collections… also messing with credit big mistake signing here., I payed months without attending due to lack of costumer service and cleanliness… I just gonna go threw a lawyer I have rights as costumer…
I wish I had the time and energy to give this company/location a full review, but frankly all of that time and energy has been spent arguing with the upper level management at this gym. In a very short (and sweet) review, I will say that they mislead you about the contracts and when you ask for clarification or their protocols they will not respond, yet have one of their newest employees contact you to deliver the news, which I find to be extremely unprofessional and cowardly. I told the new manager who called me his first day to tell me that they were going to charge my card 1 more month regardless of the documentation I had proving that I had cancelled properly and on time. I reminded the guy that if management and corporate dodge me for a good 5 weeks (specifically Will Saffen and Erica Gallegos) then have YOU as the sacrificial lamb be the bearer of bad news on your FIRST DAY as a manager, then you might want to rethink your future in this company. The leadership and culture is dishonorable and the customer service call center and some of the front desk staff at this location had attested to the shadiness in behavior within the companies management.My advice, before you enroll here, thoroughly check the reviews of this location from the last 3-6 months and take them into careful consideration before you sign on the dotted line.Update 3-11-22: Although the facilities PR person commented immediately after I posted this, No one has ever tried to reach me nor resolve my issue.
Worst gym experience my sister has had. highly unprofessional staff who does not take claims seriously. made jokes about a serious issue she had with staff. staff is seriously a joke and has no sense of humanity, avoid at all costs for the sake of your sanity. lady at the front desk is rude when asked questions, managers are liars, they are a money hungry company. worst management ever seriously all against women.
I fall in love with the gym the moment i show it but something that just sold it to me was Alexia. She just sold it to me, i didn’t even see the gym before was sold because she just made me feel so safe and ever since we have a amazing relationship. We always talk and laugh and talk before and after my workouts.
This is probably the most diverse gym with the most flexible hours closest to my residence which is why I chose it. Good variety of equipment and amenities; however, the facilities are dirty - especially the womens areas. Ive seen lashes, nail extensions, hair chunks, leftover water bottles, and paper towels in both the womens bathroom and workout area sit there for a few days, and I go to the gym daily. As with any gym this time of year, it gets crowded, but if the facility was cleaned regularly, I would absolutely give a higher rating.

I wish I was writing a positive UPDATE... A month later STILL nothing!! Now this place has put this “account” I never had on my credit report!! If I could rate this place zero stars I would!! This place is SO FOUL for how they’re treating people!!!The ABSOLUTE worst company EVER!!I went in there to get signed up for a membership ...NO CONTRACT. I was assured I wasn’t being put on a contract then shortly after leaving I realized they put me on a contract I went back 20 minutes later to cancel. That took days to solve. Once that was “solved” I received a form stating I was out of my contract. Now a year later I am getting a call from “Edwards & Cain” saying I owe their client “Trufit Park North” $221 for my contract and if I don’t pay today they will add on another $1600.Mind you I never once received an email or call nothing stating I owed for this “contract” they’re stating I have.This place is sooo dirty. Instead of screwing people they need to worry about their managers they have harassing female customers, stealing from them..etc
Update: Thanks to Amber, Patrick and Steven all the issues are resolved! Now starting the Personal training with Adam... He will work your butt off....The Front desk staff and the trainers are friendly. The facility is nice.HOWEVER- Lord help you if there is an error with your account. they cannot get it resolved. They see the double charges and DO NOT call me or stay in contact with me. Why do I HAVE to keep following up on this? Evidently they do not see this as a Priority!!!!!On Feb. 12th 2022, I went to TruFit at Park North and signed up for membership.I chose the Essentials Level. As I sat there and thought more about it, I asked if I could upgrade to the Results+ Level. They said no problem. They would simply cancel the other membership and I would see a reversal of the $9.92 charge.A week later (Feb 19th), I went in and signed up for Personal training session.The deactivated account was reactivated by their staff on accident, and this is where the nightmare began.I have not seen a reversal of the $9.92 and in addition to this I was charged $9.92 for the Results+ account also.I also was charged $24.89 for the Essentials account AND $32.46 for the Results+ account.I have made numerous inquiries and have not seen any refunds.In addition, on Feb 28. My checking account has two drafts for $75.00 each and was withdrawn from my account for Personal Training fees against both memberships.Total funds needing refunded back $109.81
The gym has been through some major changes. It is becoming the kind of gum one can be proud of. The equipment, and the staff are too not h. Great place to work out.teqm leadership has gotten so much better. Patrick, Amber, and Steven have made this club into something awesome. Park North is the flagship of the San Antonio locations. Im proud to have learned how to be a part of a team
DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT HERE! I canceled my membership and signed the paper work , was told they would charge me one more the next month then I would be done. Okay so two months later and Im still getting charged ! Called and its like jumping through hoops to get then to stop charging me and refund the money. I have the paperwork the girl gave me when I canceled my membership. This place is a scam , just read the reviews
I recently moved from Lubbock and I was a member at TruFit there and loved it. There were so many classes, the gym was clean, and the staff was friendly. I was so excited when I saw San Antonio has a TruFit as well, but the experience is COMPLETELY different. The staff won’t acknowledge you when you walk in and the class schedule is sparse at best. I paid for the premium membership for the additional classes and on four separate occasions, the instructor never showed up and the people at the front desk weren’t even aware and basically said oh well. I wrote an email to the general manager and never received a response. Additionally, I called multiple times, left two messages, and never received a response. Save your money and go anywhere else.UPDATE: tried to cancel my membership due to the instructor not showing up to any of the classes. I emailed the general manager and submitted the paperwork in the club. They have denied my cancellation paperwork since I’m “not relocating” and the general manager never responded to my email. I have since filed a complaint with the BBB as well as disputed the charges with my bank. This place is a JOKE.
The tru fit gyms are very unprofessional! From the restrooms, normal upkeep and even worse the management. They never know what they are talking about and always say they have to wait till so and so walks in( different name everytime) when you are a new to the gym immediately they try forcing personal trainers and larger memberships on you. I recently switch locations about 3 months ago and they are still awaiting my transfer stuff. Every time I walk in they say this isn’t my home gym … every day ! And everyday I have to remind them to check the notes. I just started receiving late payments which they made me pay with out any compensation because the other location didn’t transfer everything correctly. When I asked how was that my fault and why am I getting charged ? They responded “ yeah sorry you can call them and see what they can do .. did u wanna pay now ?” Not even trying to come up with an solution. 100% DOO NOT Recommend say your money and time and go some where professional.
TruFit seems like a nice gym but go to literally any other location but this one. I’m new to San Antonio so unfortunately didn’t know any better and went to get a membership. Front desk pulls out all the stops to try and get me to pay for a membership right now including not giving me my drivers license back and coming outside to my car multiple times. If you enter this gym wanted to ask about memberships just be prepared to be pressured by the front desk and the young girl who signs you up.
The machines here is great and new. But this specific location have no ethic. They would do anything to sign you up, including lying, hiding information, sign you up for contracts without telling you.I’m not speaking from only my own experience but from talking to others, seeing people at the front desk every week asking about contracts that have no idea about. Every single friends of mine described the place as a scam center and never want to have anything to do with it again.The manager know exactly what he’s doing, i once mention bringing a lawyer to help out a friend and the man ran over, told all the employees to say nothing as if he been in these situations many times before.It’s such a pity since the facility is great and it have potential, but it’s being run by some of the worse human being i’ve ever seen
Gym is okay, the first gym I had ever gone to. After my contract is up though Im never going back. I had a PT trainer and when I brought up canceling my sessions, was referred to the front desk. I was told putting my cancelation request that day would stop the payments. They still charged me. Went back to ask them about it. Had the front desk people point out the 30-day cancelation notice. They repeatedly told me that I just need to wait out the 30 days to stop being charged. About a week after the 30 days Im still being charged. Everytime I call or go in person they keep telling me I have to speak to a *specific* PT manager. However, everytime I tried to talk to the specific manager, front desk told me to speak to another manager. You can guess what happened when I tried to that manager, they were either busy or werent at the gym (what a coincidence). Today the same instance is happening. I was charged, I called to ask about it, was told a PT manager would help me, and now Im waiting. Ive already called my bank about the situation, and they told me to call back with how I would like to proceed with the charge on my account.
If not for me being in close proximity to this gym, the decent variety of workout equipment, and the duplicitous contract that I’m currently wrapped in, I wouldn’t be going to this gym. Saying that the sanitation in this gym is “lacking”, particularly within the bathrooms, would be a major understatement, it is grotesque as hell. However, that pales in comparison to the horrendous customer service which is what I have the biggest grievance against. This gym charges you for legitimately anything, even for things that they supposedly aren’t supposed to charge you for or sometimes, they will “accidentally” charge you for something irrelevant and nonsensical and the staff will be hesitant to issue a refund or an adequate form of compensation. Unless you’re accompanying a friend for free just for a day, I would highly recommend you skip this gym and go to any other gym that isn’t as asininical as this one or doesn’t roll you into any of these sneaky and exorbitantly overpriced contracts.
This place is a joke.. I have been trying to cancel my membership since last year.. I have used the gym maybe 3 times haven’t gone back.. and since I am paying $36 dollars a month to not go or use the gym at all and then they tell me that I would have to pay 100 and something dollars to cancel… so basically you pay for paper here they don’t care if you are using there gym or not.. there service from the management is very poor! They definitely need to work on helping people ESPECIALLY after they have told them plenty of times they can’t afford it anymore…

PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP HERE!!!! This is the WORST gym I have ever been to, not because of the atmosphere or the equipment but the employees!!! One of my friends got into a car accident and he was physically unable to work out so he tried to cancel his membership. Initially they let him but then continued to charge him so he got upset and had to make a few phone calls. Apparently they had “lost his cancellation paper” which he had to pay $90 to even fill out in the first place. And to top it all one of the guys on the phone was like oh well “you have to pay till you die”. LIKE WHAT??? How could I make this up. This is the most unprofessional gym on the planet I wish they would shut down for the amount of things that I have heard about them. There’s so many other options so whatever you do do not let them convince you to sign up here all they want is their commission.
There’s no such thing as customer service for this company. I was tossed around when trying to get ahold of a manager and then was told to go by to get my billing issue resolved and a manager wasn’t there. It seems to be an issue at this location specifically. Once I did get ahold of a manager at the location he told me I would be able to downgrade my membership if I stopped by again and then I get there and apparently he misinformed me? Either Patrick the manager doesn’t know what he’s doing or he needs to be trained again because they wasted my time and gas. NOT TO MENTION he was extremely disrespectful smirking when I asked if he realized he wasted my time for telling me to drive by to do this. NOTHING was resolved and this company so far has taken no responsibility and is just pointing fingers at whoever helped me before them bc I kept getting the runaround. I can’t wait to be done with them and I will be doing what I can to make sure everyone I know how unprofessional this company is. Save your time and join a gym who is customer friendly and trains appropriately. They train people to hound you to join. The guy who had me signed up told me he was briefly explaining to me everything I was signing and never once mentioned it was a contract. I asked if it was a contract bc it was important to me not to have one considering the pandemic and at the end said “oh yeah I probably should’ve mentioned you were signing one”. I’m absolutely shocked with what I’m dealing with. TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES CORRECTLY. And train them to take accountability instead of laughing. I’m currently taking legal matters.
Was very indecisive about signing up because of all the reviews I was reading about this location! I decided to just give it a try and I’m so glad I did! because Alexia was very helpful and friendly, she walked me through all my questions and concerns and policies Etc!!
I wish I could give zero stars. I went in and signed paperwork to cancel my account in May and three months later I’m still being charged. I called the club and they referred me to a corporate billing number who told me the club lost my cancellation paperwork. I called corporate EIGHT times to try and fix the situation and every single person gave me a different answer but none of them resolved the problem. The eighth time I called I was told to contact the club manager for a refund….I’ve called the club four times on four different occasions and the manager is never there and no one knows when she will be there. No one there has any idea what’s going on…I should not have to resort to calling daily to try and fix a simple problem. Looks like I’ll be calling hourly. At this point I think they’ll be charging my account indefinitely.UPDATE: Emailed the address that replied to this review and received no response. As expected. I’ve been calling the club asking for the manager for three weeks and she is still MIA. This is laughable.
Update 1/19/2021:Never received the refund (check) that the Regional Operations Manager said would be mailed to me. There were no further communications to me either until I emailed her today. Changing review back to 1-star. Thankfully, my bank had my back and did a reversal so I could at least get my money back. This is not the only problem. I have built rapport with my personal trainer over the past month and have been enjoying my training sessions with her. But corporate or management made abrupt changes and moved her to another gym without advanced notice to her or me, complicating my situation. For paying this gym $42.46 per month for the top tier membership, plus $75 every two weeks for personal training, and the $53 annual fee in January, this sure has been a headache over the past two months. I highly regret signing up for this gym.Update 12/3/2020:Realized two contracts were fraudulently signed by the previous manager. New manager (Alyssa) took that very seriously and escalated to corporate - thank you for your help, Alyssa! After several phone calls/interactions with club managers and corporate, corporate has confirmed receipt of my signed cancellation form and the office manager is processing my refund. Hoping there are no further issues. I look forward to continuing fitness classes, and starting personal training. I have had positive experiences with the instructors and I neglected to mention that earlier. Changing my rating from 1 to 2 stars - will update this again with potential improvements.12/2/2020:This is my first public review for this gym after keeping another complaint I had private. This time, no-holds barred... This place is quick to sell but slow to help when an issue arises. I have been a top tier member since the beginning of November. I received emails for Black Friday promotions of $69 for 4 training sessions. I clicked on that link and it said my request was being processed, but I never received confirmation. I tried again the next day. Same result. I finally called the gym and spoke to Quentin. He helped me get the promotion. I agreed to and purchased 8 sessions for a total of $138.08. I thought all was well but, two days later, I saw that my bank was charged not only $138.08, but an additional $69.04. I called the gym and asked for a manager. Their phone line was choppy so I was told I would get a call back but never got one. I called back and was then on hold for about 15 minutes. The excuse was that she was busy with another member. So... Im less important than other members? After putting me on hold some more, and asking one of the other associates for help, she finally said the $69.04 could be refunded to me, but I had to go in and sign a form. This is the worst of the worst in terms of customer service -- inconveniencing a customer for a mistake management made. This place has terrible customer service. They are quick to take/steal your money, and very slow to help or return it. Sure, they have new, nice, shiny equipment, but their business infrastructures (customer service, operations, practices) do not match up to all the hype. If I could take back my $40 per month membership contract, I would.
Very nice gym & great staff. It makes me feel happy to come into this gym every morning & the staff always remembers me and greets me so energetically. I’m also very pleased on how well kept the machines are. I hardly ever see a machine down. People also practice social distancing & wear masks too. It’s a very chill gym :)
I personally love this gym! I used to go to the Bandera location but this one is much more updated and brighter, better lighting, which gives me a good vibe. Everyone goes super hard and there’s a lot more equipment to use at this location. All the equipment is also a lot more upgraded than the Bandera location. Sauna just opened back up not too long ago and it’s amazing! I go early in the morning and it’s super clean and all machines and equipment is easily available. It’s very affordable as well. 4 stars because only thing it’s missing is a POOL & massage chairs could be better. No one really uses the new ones. The old school ones where great. Other than that, I love it here! ❤️🔥🔥🔥
Women’s restroom is disgusting trash was overflowing, paper towels all over the floor and stalls don’t have toilet paper at 6am. employees make it so obvious they make commission and don’t care about mistakes on their end as long as they get people to sign up right? upon signing up a friend and I signed up for a 5 day trial pass to see if trufit would suit us. on just the 2nd day of using the pass an employee said they stopped doing the trial passes and insisted we signed up. I was not under the impression that whoever signed us up put both my friend and I on my bank account?? I’ve asked multiple times if she can have her own membership on her OWN account and they told me they couldn’t do that even though it was their employees mistake. also employees SHOULD really let guests talk to a manager upon asking!!! i’ve asked on 3 different occasions to speak to a manager and not once have they directed me to one. i would much rather have a manager tell me they can’t resolve my issue then a front desk employee. :) and now for the cherry on top. got a random charge of $106 two weeks after they already charged me for this month, made my account go negative, and claimed it’s a maintenance fee. lol. everything is always dirty, what exactly are they fixing? come on trufit!!! you can do better!!! customer service is not up to par. literally worse than planet fitness
The gym is nice but, I have an issue with the over the top “rules” that was never explained or mentioned at all during the sign up. They entice you with a nice new looking gym and once you are already a member and come to ACTUALLY workout (unlike other member and employees). I get stopped for having my backpack safely put away out of the walking path and traffic flow of other members but still get told it needs to be in a locker. I use every equipment inside my bag so that’s why I have my backpack with me plus I am storing all my belongings in there. Also apparently a new rule that came up is not allowing water jugs to drink water (didn’t know I wasn’t allowed to drink water during my workout). They never clean even though they advertise “24/7 cleaning done by designated workers” instead they just harass members about bags and water jugs instead of COVID safety precautions and picking up weights other lazy members leave on the floor. This goes even for the managers, making me use shoes to deadlift when everyone who actually lifts knows that deadlifting barefoot is a proper and better technique than with shoes. If your gonna be a manager of a GYM you should have proper knowledge of weight lifting techniques and look like you actually lift! Other than that gym equipment is nice can’t complain about that.
The manager Dylan went out of his way to ensure I had a great experience, and I always see him directing staff to clean dirty areas or take care of customer concerns while I am at the club. This man makes the gym much better than previous management I had trouble with.
The gym and the staff are amazing. Great equipment for any fitness goal in mind. However, some people(members) just suck. The dumbells and weights to get reracked in appropriate places, if they get reracked at all. Trash is left after they wipe down equipment. And some mindless nerf herder wants to pour fluids down the sauna heater to mAkE iT hOtTeR. But a great gym.
Professionalism is joke! Most gave artist uses not a welcoming atmosphere. Trying to cancel and I signed paperwork cancelling yet still have been charged. Finally got a corporate number to handle it. Sanitation in locker rooms are subpar. A lot of workers need to be fired!

Been with TruFit since February & i couldn’t be more satisfied with my switch of gym out of other gyms. I normally attend Bandera location but I went to North Park Today & I’m so Excited With the opening of this location. Lots of machines, clean Facility , Always seen sanitizing, plenty of Cardio Options along with massage chairs. Great ladies room for privacy I highly recommend speaking to Alfred Godines For any help Needed or start of membership
Clearly the Tru Fit company has some serious finance problems and are taking it out on the members accounts.I’ve tried numerous times to cancel, and they give me the run around.JR isn’t here and can’t cancel any accounts.Quan isn’t here and can’t cancel any accounts.Amber is out with a family emergency and can’t cancel any accounts.Crazy part is, I’m certain they will give the same generic response and continue to criminally charge people’s accounts.Terrible place to do business. I understand coronavirus has been hard on all businesses, but to abuse members accounts makes it impossible to say anything positive about the business or the people.

I visited the Park North location ONE TIME and that was enough for me. What I saw left me disgusted. Women’s bathroom/ locker room area was filthy, and I’m not talking about disposable items on the counter tops or floors, I’m talking about the overall cleanliness of this area. You can easily tell the floors have not been swept, vacuumed, or mopped for a long while. Pee stains on the floor, hair embedded into the carpets and stuck on counter tops. Obviously you cannot control the cleanliness of other people, however you can control how often you clean your establishment. I spoke with Will Saffen, the Regional Vice President, and his lack of professionalism addressing my concerns validated my understanding as to why the staff members under him are not taking responsibility or initiative in providing their members with a sanitary working space. I took photos of everything I saw at the Park North location and he basically called me a liar. I have the emails to prove it. I will be contacting the health department as well as sending emails as often aa possible to prove the lack of initiative at the various TruFit locations.
PLEASE READ: if you’re considering on coming here PLEASE don’t. My sister and I had an encounter with one of the employees who harassed us and made us feel uncomfortable. I sent an email to the GM named JR I believe but he never responded. I had to call a week later and he defended his employee. He also stated that we didn’t feel harassed. NO ONE has the right to say how you felt or didn’t feel! Now I’m in the process of contacting the regional manager and speaking to a lawyer because he refuses to cancel my membership. So please. Do not come to this location. I have never felt so belittled when it came to reporting a serious situation.
I didn’t realize there were so many bad reviews. I didn’t have a problem until multiple workers followed me around the gym harassing me and talking about how women should not be lifting heavy. I want to cancel my membership, but now am terrified to even go through the process after reading all these reviews. Yikes.
PLEASE READ: The worst experience with any business, ever. I signed up before COVID early February 2020. I also signed up for personal training and paid $125 every 2 weeks for the sessions not including my $28 monthly membership. Throughout the pandemic (with the exception of May and June) I was charged $328 every month. Despite some restrictions being lifted towards the end of 2020 I did not feel safe enough to go to a gym. I cancelled my personal training as I had A LOT of unused sessions, and thought taking a break from $280/month payments would help me financially. End of January 2021 I decided to head back to the gym, I made it a whole year not catching COVID. I was now nearing my contract expiration. I was told I could get another membership and still use my unused sessions. I was able to do so ONLY for 1 month. I still had about 20 sessions (I purchased 5 for $55 during a promotion). Now, I am being told I have lost those sessions as they expired with my past contract. I signed a new contract with the promise that I could use WHAT I PAID FOR. I paid $63/session. Plus the 5 sessions for $55. All stolen money by this company. Jamely Austin gave me false information. Why would I have signed up for a gym that stole $1,000 from me? Will Saffen district manager has yet to respond. I have been very very patient with this company. I can’t any longer. Do not give this company your business nor money.Edit: I signed up at the Walzem location, with the membership I had I was able to go to any location. I resigned for a new account at the Park North as it was closer to my new residence.UPDATE 7/26/21- I cancelled 6/19/21 and was told my LAST payment was already sent to my bank and I said that was okay. It was officially posted 6/24/21….. now 7/26/21 ANOTHER payment is applied to my bank…. Where does it end with this company??
I had a back injury and informed the trainer, he had me on the floor after I told him that I was in pain. He had me continue with the work out. When I saw my Dr he stated that the trainer was not supposed to have me do that. I cx my membership and I am still waiting for a call from the trainer manager that was supposed to call me over a week ago to get reimbursed for all the sessions that I did not do. I have never obtained an attorney but unfortunately and sadly I may have too. Do not waste yr time or money on these so called trainers!!!!
I signed up online but to cancel they require me to come in? In my two months of membership I have not been able to even come in and now my $10 a month charge is $70 for a yearly cleaning fee even though Ive only been a member for 8 weeks? Completely shady. Ridiculous that I would need to come in to cancel when I never had to come in and sign anything for my membership.
Tru fit in general has been causing me problem since day one with billing department. I try to resolve my issues but no one seem to have sense of urgency to get it fix. Then Im getting over charge and no one wants to fix. Like at this point I no longer want the membership or any services they off it was waste of money and problems that lead to more stress and depression for myself. I never experienced such poor customer service.
First off.. how are you going to say its $1 to sign up but then out the door price is $10.. thats there first red flag of false advertisement.. secondly you prorated me and wanted to charge me $45 as a monthly fee within the first two weeks. I signed up on the 1st & was told my debit card on file will be paying for my first month. Thank God there was fraud on my card on file where I had to replac it so yall couldnt get paid because this company is very greedy & money hungry. Im surprised The Tru Fit Franchise is still in business. Not to mention yall wanted to charge me $45 plus a $10 late fee so thats $55 to REACTIVATE MY ACCOUNT only to pay another whopping $45 in 2 more weeks. What kind of gym charges people 2 times in a month. I guess those are the odds are when you have PERFECT CREDIT, FED FROM A SILVER SPOON & DRESSED IN A SUIT A TIE(OVER HERE MY SON) I wish I had 2 more hands so I CAN GIVE THE GYM 4 THUMBS DOWN 😂
Do yourself a favor and stay away from Trufit all together. So I signed up in May and as of today July, 6th I havent been once. On June 4th I was charged $35 then on July 4th I was charged $88. I called in to speak with someone and the guy hung up so I called back and he said it was an annual membership fee??? I was like is there anyone I can talk with about this? He said the Gm was not available and to call back later. I just feel like its shady and I should have been informed of the additional charge. I will be going in person to try and cancel. Lets see what happens. I see other people had issues with canceling.
Man, I really want to love it here. I still consider myself new to the whole gym atmosphere and want to push myself to look better as well as nail new exercises down. So, the equipment is great for that. Im trying new things. But sometimes its just so hot. Feels like the A/C is off, the water fountain is off so I have to fill up my jug in the sinks on the lockers🙁 and no wifi? I see TrufitGuest but im told there isnt any wifi? Im really hoping all this changes real soon
This gym wasnt really my cup of tea. I figured since it was not on the pricey side to give it a try, since I had friend who went to the one in U.C. I do give it credit for being a lesser priced version on Golds, but going here made me want to go back to Golds. I decided to instead go to Planet Fitness, and feel that I get a much better deal overall there and the gym is cleaner with great customer service. Plus no Wifi...okay that was the final straw. If you dont want to go to PF, but you dont want to pay Golds Prices or contract, come here, but if you want quality better off going to PF or Golds.
Poor maintenance. Paper towel dispensers are always empty, there is no reason any gym should be out of cleaning supplies during a pandemic especially first thing in the morning. They need new management to get these things addressed before the morning crowd comes in. Too many people using the machines for them to not be cleaning after themselves. Its dirty compared to other gyms. TV monitors on the machines dont work, staff is friendly but they really need to get their poop in a group.
Bathrooms and showers are disgusting, had a giant roach join me one evening, management is severely lacking, and when requesting assistance with my account to cancel, I was given no help at all. I was ultimately turned into collections.I never write reviews but this gym deserves one.Worst gym experience of my life. Going back to Golds.
This is hands down the worst managed gym I’ve been to. Sitting in the parking lot waiting for them to open at their designated hours yet their unreliable employees are still not here to open the gym. Poor customer service. Terrible. 0 stars in my book, go to Golds Gym!
I called yesterday really frustrated because I was having issues with the Bandera location. I spoke with JR & he is AWESOME!!! He really listened to me & what was going on. He showed true professionalism & integrity. He gave me the information I needed & the steps to follow to get my issues resolved. I got a follow up phone call from him this morning to let me know the status as well.
I came in for a tour of the gym and it looked great but what has me sold was the service I got from Alyssa and Jacky, the two people working at the time. They were so friendly and inviting and made me prefer this gym so much more. If a great vibe is what you’re looking for when selecting a gym this is the place to go!
Idris went above and beyond in assisting me to get a membership with TruFit!!! The quality is the service was outstanding.Idris took time to walk me through signing in online, not only that he was very customer obsessed, and provided me with an amazing experience!Thank you so much Idris :)
Where to start. First off none of the features they promoted before opening are even available yet. As big as the gym is they dont even have a trap bar or dip belt to use. The employees are always staring. Oh the water fountains dont work and apparently im not allowed to have my jug of water out on the floor. I cant have my bag on the floor that has the stuff i need like my wrist wraps, knee sleeves, bands and other stuff. This might as well be an overgrown planet fitness, i’ve worked in gyms before and idk why i expected anything else from a box gym like this, the way they run things is so stupid.
Great location! Very clean, and TONS of variety on workout equipment. I have no idea why I was so tied up with Golds gym. Finding this place was like finding a a hidden gem in a gold mine. Matt made the process fast and easy. Super awesome guy. 5 stars well deserved!
I’ve been going to this location recently because it’s closer to my house usually I go early in the morning had no problems but today I went mid morning I got stopped while signing in the manager said that my account was flagged because I was only allowed at the ones on Walzem and Bandera and if I wanted to switch to this location my monthly fee would be raised from $10 to $30. I was pretty upset and annoyed because why wasn’t this brought up to me the first time when I went to this location. Honestly I rather go back to the bandera location where the women’s area is bigger and the treadmills don’t wobble. I know the employees are just doing their job and following the rules but poor communication to the gym members
This gym is too beautiful for the unprofessional and staff they employ. First, I went in yesterday with a promotional offer I was emailed with just for them to tell me it wasn’t offered at that location. Nowhere on the promotion I was emailed did it say *only valid at certain locations. Second, I advised Quan and Matthew that I wanted to sign up for the month to month account since they couldn’t give me the offer the company sent to me directly. Then, I was given a price to pay in full and I advised that I will talk to my husband and will be back the next day with a answer. The AGM, “Quan” then stated “whoa whoa” I’ll sign you up for $1 then when you make your decision and come back tomorrow, I will get you switched over to the MTM for no additional price and I will cancel what I put you on no questions asked. I called later on that evening to tell him I would like to be switched over and he said okay! I then asked him to send over the documents to my email for my documentation, and he said I will receive it in 5 minutes. Then I get a call and Matthew says now that I won’t receive an email cause I have to go in to sign. I then came in today to switch and begin my workout and another guy came up and stated there were no notes in my file, that I won’t get the refund I was already charged for (that came out to $10, not $1), AND that when he switched me to the MTM plan after canceling my new total would be $100.I advised that I wanted to cancel completely because they acted as if they wanted to help me get a good deal for the plan I wanted after the deal I was presented with wasn’t “accepted” there. I was lied to and there was nothing noted on my account so their communication is trash. I also asked for the refund since it was under three days and the GM says “no you don’t get a refund and you’ll get charged for the first month too”. I asked “why, if it clearly says here in the contract that you get refunded“. He shrugged his shoulders and said to just call this number and started blurting out numbers, by the way the number he blurted out was wrong. I had to research and reach out to the corporate on my own.I would stay away from this place if you want to be part of a good gym that employs professional, non thirsty to sale, just want a month to month plan, and enforce wearing masks to protect yourself from Covid. While my gym tour yesterday, I seen a few people using machines with no mask and they were not addressed. They push and push you to buy something you are not interested in for their commission.
I showed up today 2/3/21 for the 6pm Zumba with Christine. The app and the website stated the class date and time. I showed up and was stopped by a gentleman named JR and encouraged to sign up for a complimentary PT session. I stated I needed to go to Zumba but sat and allowed the woman to schedule me for Monday (didn’t catch her name). When I arrived at the classroom the doors were LOCKED and no one knew where Christine was or who she was for that matter. JR then convinced me to do the PT session today instead since Zumba was up in the air. He paired me with the woman who took my info who went upstairs with me to check the door I already said was locked and then she told me she had an appt and couldn’t help me but her manager could. While walking back downstairs she stops another woman to ask if she could take me because she had an appt who’d arrived. The woman (didn’t catch her name) she asked responded as if she didn’t want to. I told the original woman that was ok and I’d just go home. When I told JR that the woman he paired me with had an appt and couldn’t help me, he responded “ok”. The entire experience was frustrating and I just left and walked to my car to leave this review. I felt like a burden and it was annoying that NO ONE had a clue if Zumba was canceled, who Christine (instructor) was, why she wasn’t there, and/or if she was running late. I’ll stick to my outdated Walzem location where at least they have great customer service, knows what the heck is going on, and don’t bait customers with free sessions only to make paying clients feel like a burden no one knows what to do with. The only workout I got at this location was going up and down those stairs while being given the runaround.
Was in there this morning I over heard the gym employees telling their customers to leave a good review. Dont believe the good reviews. Another thing the gym cleaning sprays are hanging from the trash cans. Not very sanitary if you ask me. They are asking to get shut down again!! I will be going back to golds gym
Not impressed. Have been a member at LA Fitness for years and considered switching. Staff is clueless and disorganized. Got a presentation and a tour like it was my first day in the gym. Ceilings are low, weight room is crammed and dark, and the environment was not motivating. Wasnt even offered a chance to workout after the tour.
I got very excited when I found out they were opening up a TruFit next to my job. Im originally from Mcallen TX where TruFit is literally at every corner and when I moved to SA closest one to my house was 30 minutes away. I jumped right away and switched from Golds. For starters I didnt like the fact that I couldnt work out right away due to the City not passing inspection on the date they were originally suppose to open and they even charged my card. Saunas dont work, theres no dressing rooms, one of the main reasons why I joined was for the Tru power classes. Classes didnt start right away and once they posted up their times (which is only 9am, 6pm and 7pm) I ask the front desk if they are planning on adding more times in the future, they said no that was the set time indefinitely. RED FLAG for me, there should at least be 2-4 more times throughout the day like other gyms especially for advertising this Tru Power and Combo six so much as they did. Other than that, gym is nice, lots of machines to choose from.
Waited so long for this gym to open. Was not impressed. The day they were supposed to open they didnt pass inspection. 🙄 There is a leak coming from the ceiling near the gym turf. Gym members do not wear masks as the signs everywhere state they should. Thinking of changing gyms.
Pushy salespeople, rude staff, lack of organization during the sign-up process, and facilities that are already not well maintained. Good luck getting a refund if you decide to cancel in 3 days, it took me 4 phone calls and speaking to 10 different people to finally receive my money back. I’ll never go to a TruFit again.
Unfortunately had a terrible time during the tour of the facility. The gentleman giving us the tour started the tour off by stating that he doesnt believe covid is a problem and that it is a hoax and conspiracy and that people that work out do not get covid. Wanted to explain that my grandfather died from covid just a couple weeks back but decided he doesnt need to know that.. maybe I should of told him.**Also, .....if someone says No thanks to wanting to give a high five(do to their fear of covid) maybe you(GM) should get the hint and not insist/insult them by asking 3 additional times then proceed to make comments like, well you do have to use this keyboard Ive been using all day to sign in... lack of respect was very apparent! Not even the slightest bit of concern for our safety. Hand sanitizer was out at the front door when leaving and at multiple stations around the facility.Felt pressured to sign up and also got startled when the GM screamed Woooooo, at the top of his lungs, when the other sales lady got someone to sign up. Over the last week, any customer who signed up for this PARK NORTH location has not been able to use this facility due to their issue from the city of San Antonio... Safety Hazard !! (Not a good start)While reaching this facility to find out the status, the sales agents have been “extremely” rude.. The Sauna has been out for Months and same story (waiting on parts) same story .. 4 months
Men showers. The showers do not progressively get warm or hot. I waited for at least 5-10 mins and the water continued to stay cold and uncomfortable. With winter being around the corner, gym members such as myself need to shower in warm water to keep warm. Please fix this problem.
09/13/2020 edit: A lot of the extras they said would be open are not open. Such as, the Combo 6, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training group), Zumba Classes, etc. The basketball court is also still under construction, the floor isnt even put in. Shout out to Tyler though, because even though the gym is what the problem is, this man is a hard worker and deserves some kudos!08/13/20 Edit: Its fun having to climb the stairs to reach this massive, over 50,000 sqft, gym. TruFit offers multiple exclusive classes that are taken place in seperate studio rooms. Combo 6, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), Zumba Classes, etc. Included is a full size basketball court and extremely spacious free weights area.
Overpriced. Overweight employees that dont know how to use the computer systems also isnt a good sign.Signed the paperwork against my better judgment and im stuck in this walmart unless I want to pay.They seriously have some GIANT san antonio girls here. So this could be a 2 star experience for some.

2022-08-05I love this gym! Lisa in the mornings is a great start to my day, she’s so humble and friendly it helps me walking in so early. I am not sure his name but the cleaning guy is so sweet too! Always down for a quick chat and some welcoming words. I love the morning staff here!!

2022-06-04Ive been to 5 out of the 7 different Tru Fit facilities in San Antonio. I dont know if its the areas they are in or how recent they are built, but they are definitely all set up differently. And some are set up far better than the others. The staff at all the locations are very friendly and helpful. The gym members actually come in and workout on the equipment, instead of just congregating and having group chats. The different classes that they offer are intense and fulfilling. They provide daycare which allows me the freedom to get in my workouts everyday. You really get your bang for your buck if youre wanting a gym home.

2022-03-08Update: My issue has been resolved and Patrick, the new general manager, was understanding towards my frustration. I appreciate what he did for me and I recommend that all sales staff be trained on how to ethically enroll members. I know Im not the only one who had issues with my cancellation and this needs to be addressed promptly.DO NOT SIGN UP HERE EVEN ON A MONTH TO MONTHI am not from San Antonio and had to come for a work training for a month in January. I specifically told the sales rep this as they wanted to put me on a month to month and that I had no desire to pay any cancellation fees when I had to return back home. She went to speak to her supervisor and ASSURED me that I would not be charged any cancellation or additional fees; I just had to make sure to sign the cancellation form 10 days before the next payment is due to avoid being billed the next month. Cool. I signed and submitted the cancellation form and was assured again that I would not receive any other fees.February comes by and Im billed for the month. I called and spoke to the manager and was told that even though I submitted the form on time, I still had to pay the cancellation fee and that the initial sales rep that signed me up was gone. I tried to be understanding and was assured by the manager that he would speak to hire ups to resolve the issue.It is now March and Im being billed even more for the month. I dont appreciate this. Every time I call to see what the heck is going on there is no one who can help me or return my calls. Im extremely frustrated at this point.

2022-05-19Be careful what you sign up for. . Membership cost is low, but if that is all that is important to you, okay. The trainer that signed me up acted like he was the owner, had me sign all these pages, never mentioning he was setting me up for a trainer. Took several months to get that refunded. He sold me vitamins and power bars. Okay, I took that, they were horrible , he said he was selling me the most popular flavor.. I can’t even think of anything to compare the flavor to That’s not even the worse part. He sold them to me in March, but they had expired in February. I would just think twice about giving this gym any business. If they have to make enough money to stay open by scamming people, they are not heading in the right direction. These types of gyms come and go. Just thought I would share my experience.

2022-08-05This gym is awesome! Lisa at the front desk makes coming here even more enjoyable. She is always really nice and wiling to help in any way she can. She never makes you feel like you are bothering her. Definitely an asset to the company! 10 out of 10 would recommend this gym!

2022-07-22Nice big gym. The layout is good and never too crowded. I take my kids to the gym daycare and Theresa and Karen are always smiling and welcoming when we come through the door. The staff is great and it gives me peace knowing my kids enjoy and I can have a nice workout! Love this gym

2021-09-29Gym is always dirty. Been going for a month now and I have inly seen them cleaning machines once. Majority of the time there is paper towels and sanitizer to wipe after each use on your machine but half the people dont do it. There is ALWAYS TRASH EVERYWHERE. Weights are never put back in their place either. Its quite disturbing

2022-04-25Teresa, Karen, & Alison at the Park North daycare are awesome. My son loves going there. The daycare staff is friendly, nice, & seem to always be attentive with all the kids. All the staff at this location is very welcoming & they always greet u walking into the gym. I am really glad my daughters & I joined. Price is super reasonable as well. Love Zumba & the combo 6 classes.

2022-08-06Been coming here for about 9 months overall I’ve never had any bad experiences everyday I walk-in I am greeted by Lisa and her Colgate smile. Then I go to the kids club to drop of my children and my kids love Teresa she’s great with them and patient. Basketball court is fun and state of the art then they have little studios you can exercise in that are top notch wouldn’t mind coming for another 9 months keep it up guys and ride to the occasion. “ if you don’t have a horse, then ride a cow”

2022-08-06I was injured halfway through the contract and was told that I had to buy out the contract if I wanted to cancel. I cant help it if I unexpectedly injury. Called and talked to someone at a later date and was told that I would not have to worry about additional charges if I had a doctors note stating so. That would have been nice to know the first time I called. I wish everyone was trained and knew the same things. Dont haggle me for money. Thats just rude.Be cautious when signing up. After signing up, I never felt comfortable going either so this place was just a big waste of money for me. Ive had better experiences at Planet Fitness. I cant wait for this contract to be over!
