Always amazing food! Service was a bit slow and less friendly than Im use to there, but overall great food.
Dont listen to the 1 star reviews! The food is delicious, the staff is welcoming and VERY attentive, the prices are low and the atmosphere is very casual. Its location looks shady, but dont be fooled, the inside of this restaurant is perfectly clean and well kept! Definitely one of the best places Ive eaten in Amarillo for Asian food.

I am not sure where to even start. Less than one star if I could I decided to try this due to the awesome reviews. I ordered the teppan steak and chicken with crab ragoons to go. When I got home I realized they didnt give me the soup that comes with the dinner. Then I started eating. The chicken DRY and overcooked. The steak had NO seasoning. Everything BLAND BLAND BLAND. Crab ragoons nasty and again BLAND... . Plz dont make the mistake I did, spend the little extra and get real Japanese Steakhouse food.......or even McDonalds is better.
Food was delicious and flavorful. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The windows could use cleaning from all the dust.
We had carry out. Although atmosphere was nice and clean with Oriental feel. Once home, food was hot and fabulous taste, no shortage of meat in any of our dishes. Definitely a big fan. I would take more pictures but BF already ate ALL his. I had cashew chicken. He had hot spicy chicken.
Fantastic food. Always fast, the lady who runs the front counter works her tail off and is always friendly. Super recommend for anyone wanting some hibachi style food!
Absolutely the BEST place I stumbled upon here in town for hibachi!!!! Huge portions and the best prices! The customer service is completely on point too! They are so sweet and will help you carry your order to your car!!

I am absolutely in love with this place, huge portions, good price, fantastic food that we hardly had to wait on, and the staff is so attentive and friendly! I love this place for a cozy date night and will definitely be taking advantage of their takeout in the future 😉
Abby was awesome! The food is good. Dont expect any service at the bar while you wait 1& 1/2 hours for your table... We ordered fries twice in 45 minutes and never recived them we had two small children with us and they were hungry! My husband was ignored at the bar for 20 minutes! Ask for Abby when you go in because shes that good!
Our favorite lunch specials in Amarillo. Portions are large, tasty, and always on point. Parking is limited, service is okay, and the building is a little run down, but don’t judge this book by it’s cover. Everything is delicious.

I love tsunami. We go there often and never had a bad experience. The price is amazing and the food is outstanding. Their employees are always super nice. I love their spring rolls and Miso soup!!!
Dont let the outside appearance fool you. This is a good place to eat reasonably priced Japanese steakhouse food. They dont have grill-side service.so you can watch the chef cook, but Ive always been pleased with the food here. Theyve always accommodated my request for no mushrooms in my food.
Cheap in price, but high in flavor. One of the best places to eat in town. Service is quick. Only downside are the few tables. If busy you may not be able to get a table.

I ordered a dish that I thought would be very tame, as I dont do hot/spicy dishes. Asparagus with Lobster Sauce. There was no description of the dish on the lunch menu. I did ask if there was some kind of meat in it, or, if it was just the asparagus. The waitress did say there was shrimp with it. It came with jalapeños with SEEDS!!!! They need to put a symbol or a description in their lunch menu!!
The food was not what I expected. Not that it was bad just not the Japanese food I am used to. Tables, chairs and booths are older and not that attractive. Staff is friendly and my glass was always full. Prices are in range for what they served.
Very good place to eat. Had the seafood fried rice. They did not skimp on anything. Definitely going back.I do hope they put tonkatsu on the menu at some point.

2022-08-04On the way home from Colorado and stumbled across this little gem. Great food as you can see from my picture. I had the pork fried rice and it came with a huge slice of cucumber, which was a nice refreshing touch to the meal! Surprisingly affordable too in this economy. Well done Tsunami!! 5 stars from me!

2022-04-06Busy at lunchtime which is a good sign, shrimp rolls on the lunch special were awesome! Good food, wish there was some heat (spice) in the kung pao chicken but it was good. Service was prompt and friendly. Good neighborhood restaurant.

2022-08-01Lady answered the phone and I told her I have 3 separate orders, I’m so sorry” “ she responded by raising her voice at me and saying EVERYONE IS GOING TO HAVE TO GIVE ME A SECOND!!!” I have never in my life encountered such unprofessionalism. Then she told me they aren’t doing lunch specials, and when I asked to speak to a manager she proceeded to tell the manager that I was very rude to where I could hear her.😂😂 we come here all the time, because the food is always good. I understand that the food industry can be overwhelming sometimes but this new girl will be the reason my co workers and I don’t return.

2022-04-27Owner is always nice aling with the staff. Yes we know Miss Michelle is special and she is always fast and nice to us. She doesnt stare or mistreat our son who has is bald from cancer. So its one of his favorite places to eat.

2022-04-15Visiting from a big city for Easter and eat Thai all the time. Some of the best Thai curry Ive had. My family had excellent habachi and other dishes as well. Inexpensive, good eatin. Highly recommend.

2022-04-20Just picked up my order. Food is good. Leaving 1 star for service. When I picked up my order I asked if I could take one of the paper menus for future ordering. I was told no. Not a good way to get repeat customers.
