Dont ever book online!!! Call first if your coming from San Antonio to Houston. I scheduled one for 12:35 but was informed Id have to wait till 3:30 due to border back up lines, WTF, no extra room for me to depart earlier. I paid $36 & had to drink,eat & enjoy the weather🤡
Ok...so went to drop off a relative...this location is dark. I dont think they will care about any review. This is a no frills bus service to Mexico and parts unknown. 36 bucks to Monterey Nuevo Leon, for Seniors...pretty cheap. The staff is bland. The luggage handler is very attentive despite being mute. If you need to travel to Mexico with no more than two pieces of small luggage...this is the fastest and least expensive way. The buses appear comfy an extended trip.
Youre going to be on this bus FOREVER. Went from San antonio to monterrey and it took almost a whole day. The stop at the border was brutal. The buses smell, and are very old (movie systems dont work most of the time), the bus driver is not friendly at all. The only good thing is that there was nothing totally terrible that happened to us.
This place really reminded me of being in another country, like Bangladesh or India. :-)The incoming bus was 1.5 hours late, but its definitely the cheapest and best way to make this trip bearable. It was actually nicer than driving it...stretched out on private cot, listening to podcasts!
This company is the worst. The first time, I paid for the bus and got there 25 minutes before departure time. Only to find out that the bus had already left!The second time, I arrived 45 minutes before departure time. Only to find out that that bus had left an hour before departure time. I was so pissed off! How is this even legal ?!?I wonder if they even had a real bus in the first place or if theyre just ripping people off.
Look what turimex provides to the passengers, the ugly, unpleasant and dirty seats😤 and if you still travel with them and if they tell you that the same bus will take you from your origin to your destination THATS A LIE, I forgot to mention that the driver found a cockroach around its feet
RIDICULOUS ATTITUDE IN SAN ANTONIO TX STATION BUS , I WENT TO REQUEST INFORMATION ABOUT PASSENGER COMING FROM MEXICO ON 3/26/2018 AT 9AM AND GUY WORKS FOR THIS COMPANY HAS REALLY BAD ATTITUDE ANSWER MY QUESTION REGARDING HOURS BUS STOPS THERE WHY THIS BIG COMPANY HIRE THIS KIND PEOPLE DONT HAVE PATIENCE ANSWERING QUESTIONS!!! I WONT RECOMMEND USE THEM ANYMORE
This bus was clean, but outdated needs to get new buses to its fleet. Drivers were rushed and late to the station, only has TV and Wi-Fi on bus no power outlets so be sure to bring a portable charger. And bus drivers keep buses extremly cold so be sure to bring a Jacket, sweater, blanket pillow. Gave 3 stars only because this bus drive was fast but the experience made sure I only rode this bus this one time.
Bought my ticket over the phone for a 12:46 (thats not a typo) departure; but, when I showed up they told me the bus wouldnt be there until 2pm! Gentleman at the counter seemed unable to understand my frustration at that and acted like I was being annoying or unreasonable. I called customer service and they hung up on me.They promised me a very specific departure and arrival time and are now stepping all over that promise while acting like Im in the wrong, this tells me they have ZERO business ethics and that I should NEVER travel with them again
Worst bus company. Its my first time using their services. Was told that bus would arrive at 1:25 p.m. Told me to get here a half hour early so I did. The man over the counter first told me the bus would be here around 3:15 p.m. two hours late. It is now almost 3:30 p.m. and was just told by another person that works here the bus would be here at 4 p.m. Then when my father tried to tell the guy they first told me 315 he gave my dad an attitude like he was irritated. And the worse part is when the bus finally arrived I overheard the man that worked there started talking about me and my dad to his coworker. It was one of the most ridiculous things Ive encountered. NEVER AGAIN.
They blame traffic for the bus being over 1-3 hour late and act rude when you ask questions. If you hate your job get another one, terrible customer service and the bus is always 1-2 hours late, always. The bus ride is as a normal low budget bus ride would be. We saw people waiting 2+ hours when we got there and the answers are not straight forward here, the girl at the reception desk was rude as well. I wish there were better options, vonlane does not do routes to Dallas if not we would have taken that.
WORST COMPANY1. They do not update the address where they depart from in San Antonio Texas. Before it was on Alamo street, a switchboard because thats what Google and the Internet said and it doesnt even say on the ticket if its a stop or a switchboard in San Antonio. I almost missed the 1am bus just like other people the google address took them to the old one and it keeps showing up there.2. They let sick people up, they are journeys of 12 hours and a guy has been next to me pissed off for 11 hours, there are no filters and they do not require the use of face masks being a closed area and we are all on a long journey.3. They do not give tickets to identify the suitcases, anyone can take it.4. The disgusting bathroom is shared by men and women. We are still in health contingency and there is NO WATER OR PLACE TO WASH YOUR HANDS. OR ANTIBACTERIAL GEL. If in itself people are dirty and rude and then the company doesnt get its act together.5. Super dirty seats full of cheetos from whoever sat before, obviously they didnt clean or even spray a disinfectant.Better use buses, this is inhuman
I leave Austin to Monterrey, the bus broke down in San Marcos, a radiator hose burst and 2 more turimex buses passed by and they did not stop !!A family member takes me to San Antonio and the one in the office tells me that the ticket is not complete and that part of the receipt is missing and I explained that it was taken away by the other driver that the bus broke down and I looked at him reluctantly😤 10: 50 June 18, 2019 !!!
I did not take photos, but to be an international service, they should give good buses, not the one that touched me from Monterrey to San Antonio Texas. Susious and the seats are not served in the old bathroom. VERY GOOD SERVICE FROM THE DRIVERS THAT YES. AND THEY ARE FULLING IN PARTS WITHIN
DONT DO IT !!!! DO NOT USE THEM !!!!!!My husband and I traveled from Dallas to Monterrey on the bus that left at 8:15 p.m. Everything was fine until we arrived in Austin at 11:45 p.m. The truck started to shut down and the driver stopped. We were informed that a truck would come and take 20 passengers only, but another would come behind it and take us to the rest. The first 20 people left and we were 19, we were waiting for two and a half hours and finally 3 trucks arrived but these trucks were full so people had to travel stopped. They just left us at the San Antonio stop (already 4:00 am) and said that another truck opened in 2 hours. When we were all inside the establishment, the worker informed us that there was no departure until 10am and if we wanted to return to Dallas it would be at 6am. Our trip was ruined Thanks to this company that does not respect its customers and does not keep the trucks as it should be, just by seeing them you can notice that they are old worn and poorly maintained. Understandably, drivers and workers can do nothing but follow orders from a supervisor who lives in Monterrey, MX and does not answer the phone.
They offer you direct service and at the time of the hour they make you transfer buses with connections for your smartphones tablet and laptops etc. and they do not bring anything old buses lose your luggage and they are not responsible. They stole several new items that I brought in my luggage and it turns out that they did not open anything, I do not know why they are advertised as a first-class service, lousy service.
Lousy, the bus failed 2 times, they left us lying in the street outside Austin. We were going from Dallas to Monterrey and they didnt take San Antonio standing and sitting on the ground after 3 hours of waiting in the street. The bus that passed through us left at 10 AM, when at 8 AM we should have arrived in Monterrey. 0 STARS, pay a little more and buy in Omnibus or Greyhound (which although makes stops, in the end it comes out better). The bathroom didnt work, the weather didnt work, nor did they bring reading light, the screens didnt work. They should close Turimex. What a shame they give Grupo Senda.
Horrible!!!!They are not maintained at all and the bathrooms suck! When you report it to the drivers they just tell you, tell the other driver, the rude driver Gregorio the man.On top of everything we ran out of Gasoline ⛽️ !!!!Id rather pay 20-50 dollars more than go through an embarrassment like that again.
Too bad they dont agree on ticket sales, I was told that they took me out of my seat because according to my ticket was false and they sent me to the latrine and to another passenger in a box that is next to the latrine and the chickens were just missing and the goats and bravo the driver just because I had to get to my destination avoid problems this happened in the us @ first class
I bought the ticket at dawn online for 7:58 and when the truck arrived it left almost 2 hours before and the next truck left at 2 in the afternoon! And when you call to give the complaint they took me 1 hour 30 minutes to give me an answer. Terrible box office service and phone system!
I want to file a complaint because they are taking money from people at the international bridge to pay Mexican customs so that they dont have a red light? They are taking 20 dollars per person what they are taking away, it is the drivers job to follow customs protocol and people do not have to pay, that is robbery.
Very bad service, we left 2 hours late because the truck was damaged by the weather and already crossing the bridge it broke down again, we arrived in San Antonio without weather, suffocated from the heat and they left so there is no other truck, we waited another 2 hours for it to be repaired. Total 4 hours of delay and the company as if nothing else jay who is responsible and that is the United States a first world country😠
This company has been giving poor service for many years and they have not changed their buses, which have been on the roads of Mexico and the United States for more than 20 years, and none of the governments of those two countries have taken away their permits because they are a great danger to passengers, and for those who cross their routes. The trail buses are just as old and giving poor service. I left a star because only then could I leave my comment, but they dont deserve it.
Each time its older units and in poor condition, .. with the smell of burning, and the weather could not cope, .. we touched back and you felt the heat of the engine. They do not put movies ... and the monitors are on! .... The prices are more expensive than Omnibús de Mx.! .... I give the 2 stars to the driver, he behaved very kind and correct.
I bought a ticket for a certain time, they left me with time to find that they had canceled the bullfight. They changed it to me for 7 hours later and they are almost an hour out and the bus does not arrive. Others have already come and gone. I have used this campaign for more than 10 years but for the next I see another line.

2019-12-06This was the best bus ride I have ever taken! The seats are definitely more comfortable than Megabus. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is no one spoke English. Thank God there was a girl traveling the same way as me and translated for me or I might have missed my stop. But that was ok, it worked out but be aware of this if u dont speak Spanish.

2018-08-11From Monterrey to San Antonio. It was delayed 1 hour. It makes multiple and long stops. 11 Eleven hours!!! Even with visas. Bus seats have no foot rest. Over all a bad experience. Bus is outdated but clean and driver was super nice.

2019-07-08If you care for your safety stay away from this people, I purchase 2 round trips to Mexico to spend the weekend there, just for tourism as their name suggests in Spanish. Never thought it was going to be a nightmare.I was supposed to leave on Friday at 12:05am thus I arrived by 11:00pm on Thursday to check in, first thing I noticed is their downtown station looks like an abandoned war zone in a dark street with a bunch of homeless folks begging for money outside of their very old building, after I checked in the cashier told me that he believe he can squeeze me in the bus that was going to arrive at 11:00pm, I thanked him for giving me the option but I said -I rather wait for mine- Once that the bus arrived the option became a demand, he said that my bus arrived earlier then what he expected, it looked more like an excuse. Truth is that we waited over an hour because the driver didn’t care to check that people were seating in their assigned seats, because of that a fight breaks out inside the bus because two women were fighting for the seat 26, not to the mention that the rest of the people were stressed out for being seated there for a long time in a very small space without going anywhere. The driver had to move one of the ladies in order to leave.We were supposed to arrive at 7:00am, we ended up arriving at 8:40am to Monterrey, Mexico.Drivers are cranky and curt, if you ask a question they don’t provide a clear answer and they are rude in their delivery and once that you cross the border they are speeding the entire time on Mexican soil. I know this because I have my portable speedometer and they were speeding over 15 miles most of the time. That’s reckless and very dangerous considering that there were a lot children and women in the bus, they shouldn’t have to do that if they will only arrive on time or organize their schedules better. Starting for trying to follow their own itineraries.On my way back the bus was supposed to leave at 11:30pm but they were late 20mins I was worried to death I thought I was going to be stranded in Mexico, because that huge bus station there was not a single soul who could’ve explained why the bus wasn’t there, all the drivers and staff that I asked told me -They will show up soon, just be calm and wait outside- The problem was that they didn’t know in which platform my bus was supposed to arrived, so they gave me 10 possible options to be outside with all my luggage in a very hectic small sidewalk with lots of people walking all over the place pushing me around.And now here I am about to cross the border with a driver who just told me that he doesn’t know at what time we are arriving, instead of answering to my question he ask me back -Can’t you see the line? There’s like 15 buses in front of us waiting to cross the border too- He also make sure to clarify that he’s just crossing the bus to the American side, once there another driver will take over (He didn’t provide his name.)The driver Artemio that drove us from Monterrey, NL to Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas was bragging telling the other driver before he left how many other busses he overpassed in order to get to the US customs and border protection sooner. Again reckless behavior, I really hope that never happens anything but traveling with this people is a tragedy waiting to happen.I hope my review helps people, I’m writing this from the bus right now. My torture hasn’t finish

2018-01-03Good and quality bus service. They have assigned seating so you dont have to worry about looking for a seat or if someone puts their bags and belongings on a seat. This is the experience I had on greyhound and others on the bus were so inconsiderate.
