Service was EXCELLENT! Our server, Wade, was very personable and helpful. David, one of the managers, took time to stop by and visit with us. The other employees were also very friendly and seemed to enjoy being there. Our food was so good! The mozzarella logs, as theyre named, were some of the best Ive ever had. The cheese fries are a great appetizer choice as well. The chicken tenders were huge, and looked like they were hand cut from fresh chicken breast. All 4 of us at the table really enjoyed our experience. We will definitely be back!Bonus: Order the Brownie Explosion, and sit back and enjoy the show!
Im surprised. I thought this place was going to be a Dennys restaurant without the name. But I found the menu was great the food was marvelous and the service was very good. They have a well-rounded selection of foods. Little bit of Mexican little bit of pizza, little bit of Burgers and Fries. A lot of times when restaurants have this many selections the food isnt that great. But over the course of three days I ate here three times. Each of the menu choices were great. Enchiladas, hamburgers, Wood Fired Pizza. Dont underestimate TwoRows. As a visitor to Texas I was quite impressed with this restaurant and the service. It was a tiny bit slow oh, but they were very busy so it makes sense that it took a little longer than normal. Definitely check out this place its great.
The best food!!!! Our waiter Wade was awesome, everything was so good. If you love cheese fries then you have to come here they literally are THE BEST!!! We had the fettuccine pizza and again yummy along with a strawberry margarita and to top it off a slice of cheesecake of the day and again did NOT disappoint. This is the 2nd time coming to Texas to eat here and it’s awesome. Friendly staff, clean, great food, great atmosphere and excellent food. You can’t go wrong here.
I ordered the chicken and waffles! It was one of the best Belgian waffles I have ever had. Very light and fluffy and the chicken was very moist. Im not really a fan of strips as I prefer to have actual wings but the strips are less hassle especially for a nice brunch. My mimosas were good and tangy like I like them. The owner came over and talked with us, and he is a really nice guy, very approachable and funny. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat and will return when Im in the area.
We had an early dinner here yesterday. The burgers were wonderful. I recommend the mushroom Swiss burger. Sorry no pics this time. When the waitress (Claire) asked us if we wanted any appetizers, I asked, do you do deep fried mushrooms. She replied no but let me see what we can do. She called out to David another employee and he made it happen. They were super impressive and the mushrooms were PERFECT! 😁
My family and I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant for the first time. The food here is undoubtedly some of the food best food I have ever eaten in my life. I want to send kudos to Jacob who was our server and he did an excellent job as well as making my daughter smile. The manager was awesome as well and so gracious. We will definitely be returning and this is so great that this establishment is so close to home. I had the appetizer of boneless wings and garlic Parmesan and it was delicious. Everyone in my family raved about the food!!
The burger was very good! Best brioche bun Ive had in a while. The Kobe p was very juicy, and hot! The fries, while hot, were a bit soggy. Could used a minute more in there fryer to crisp up the outsides of them. The staff was fast and friendly!Had a great experience! Only knock is the fries... Otherwise 5 star.
We selected TwoRows to cater our baby shower first kudos go to Tammy who was patient with me and facilitated a great menu option that was affordable for our budget … DA BACON was DA BOMB!! We also had the shrimp and grits still getting calls from my guest on who did the the food!!! I highly recommend TwoRows for all of your catering needs .. ask for Tammy she will do you right❤️❤️
I absolutely love Two Rows. Each time my husband and I visit our friends in Allen, we make it a point to stop by Two Rows to take part in the best Mimosas Ive ever had! We always get the flight and love the many varieties. The food is tasty and the service is always great!
I dont often find myself as far north as Allen(why, its practically Oklahoma) but when meeting friends for dinner, I enjoy TwoRows Classic Grill. There is much to love here, but I have to recommend their fresh caught salmon. It is about 6 ounces of delicious, flaky goodness grilled to perfection with capers on top. As with all meals at TwoRows, it comes with two sides. I chose steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes. The broccoli came without any topping and that was way too healthy for me. I asked our waitress to put some cheese on it for me and this special request was no problem. The staff at TwoRows aim to please and they are all so friendly and accommodating here. Time constraints did not allow us to sample their dessert offerings but there is always next time. There will definitely be a next time for TwoRows Classic Grill. A big shout-out to or server, Casey for her special treatment of our party and exemplary service.
We had a terrific dinner at TwoRows. We chose to sit at the bar for drinks and dinner and what a wonderful idea that was. Our bartender Evan made us two exceptional martinis, provided excellent service and was very helpful with dinner suggestions. Our food was delicious and we highly recommend the chips, salsa and queso. YUM. Thanks, Evan!
I hate leaving negative reviews for places especially when the service is good. But I wish I would have known before going here. First of all, the manager is really great. The service was good. The food, was not so good and WAYYYY overpriced. I feel like if your looking for a good place to drink, this is the place for you. But the food is very expensive and I dont mind paying for high quality delicious food; this just was not that. It was like eating at Applebees (maybe even worse) but with luxury steak house prices. We do not drink so we cant review their actual drinks; but it seemed like this might be a good place for drinking. Food was just NOT it. Our ticket was over 200$ and we would have had a better tasting meal at Olive Garden or any other chain restaurant in the area for less than half of the cost.
Husband and I both ordered sour cream chicken enchiladas. The tomatoes on top of enchiladas tasted like they were soaked in hand sanitizerTold server, also told young man that was being trained. Told by young man being trained that he would tell manager. Because of tomatoes being on top of the enchiladas they basically had same bad taste. Tried to eat enchiladas but could not eat them. Asked server what he found out about tomatoes. He said sometimes they would get weird taste from refrigerator. He said they smelled off but that he had not tasted them. He said he made sure they were thrown out. Thats great but didnt help us. He did not ask if we would like to get different plate even after I told him that the tomatoes made entire meal bad. Both servers were polite but that is useless if they dontake effort to make things right and make sure you get meal that you can eat. Been 45 minutes and I still have bad taste in mouth. Will brush teeth as soon as I get home. Brought food home to try later but after thinking about it I will throw out as soon as I get home. Dont think we will be back.
Honestly, I didnt even know there were any Two Rows still open today. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and it was pretty damn good. I also had a cucumber mojito and wow was that drink refreshing in a hot day. Overall, loved the place, service and food. Looking forward to going back.
Diverse menu, Mexican to Classic favorites. Great place for family dining. The burgers, onion rings were top notch. Only complaint was Mushrooms on burger were whole, not sliced, tended to roll off. Margaritas were legit, draft beer selection sucked. Staff was friendly and server was awesome.
Ordered to go online July 8th to for a small family birthday. $81 of food 3 meals and a couple of appetizers. When arriving home, there was no gravy for a chicken fried steak and mashed potato meal. No gravy on a chicken fried steak and mashed potato meal, in the state of Texas, is simply one of the most impossible things that could ever possibly happen.
I only stopped by because I was staying next door, and was surprised by higher prices than expected. When the food came and I took my first bite I was struck by what can only be described as a bite of bliss. The honey bacon chicken sandwich might literally be the tastiest thing I have ever put in my mouth.
The Service and environment was pretty good! Its just the food was nasty 🤷🏾♀️, while everything else was ok i came there for the food and my chicken fried chicken had no flavor and the gravy they used was more so used for biscuits and gravy, it was way too watery. speaking of biscuits, they gave me this yeast rock (biscuit) i couldnt even eat. also im 100% sure my rice was out of an uncle bens box (i eat it enough to know) it was over cooked and nasty. the only thing worth eating was the friend pickles which taste identical razzos. i would not go back
I’ve eaten a lot of chicken fried steak in my life, but this is some of the best in the game. I took my friend here to try chicken fried steak for the first time and now they’re hooked! The biscuit was delicious and the fried okra was a game changer. Definitely looking forward to coming back again to try out more of the menu!
Absolutely amazing! I ordered the slap ya momma burger and fell in love with the place! The staff were friendly and joked around with us which made the experience feel more welcoming. They also allowed me to create my own dessert that wasnt on the menu and by far this place deserves a 5 star! The food tastes amazing and the honey pepper bacon was fantastic.
One of my absolute favorite places to eat. No question. Very diverse menu, including a section for those with special dietary needs. The atmosphere is very relaxing and down to earth, but not so much so that you feel like you are eating at any regular restaurant. I recommend ordering an entree that includes some of their honey pepper bacon! Let me tell you; there is a reason they sell the bacon on its own (soooo good). Our service was good, though we visited today at weird hours (around 3:00) so not many people were around. Our waitress seemed to give us plenty of space while she attended to other matters around the restaurant. One last note, we ordered stuffed avocados for our appetizer (typical millennial, I know, haha) and they were honestly amazing. Not at all what I was expecting, and in the best of ways. The chef even came to our table to see if we liked them, Im pretty sure because he has a pretty high opinion of them himself. I definetely recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone of all ages and backgrounds. TwoRows, you never dissapoint!
Great food and the staff is very friendly. MUST try the desserts. Give the Honey Blonde beer they brew a shot as well! Large selection of food that the entire family can find something they like and great specials every day.The pizza lunch special on Wednesday is FANTASTIC! Wood-fired pizza bursting with flavor! I got the A Town special pizza (pepperoni, sausage, carmelized onions, and peppers) soooooo delicious. Pizza and a salad for $6.99. Great deal!
Didnt expect to like this going in. The area its in doesnt seen lively but it was right next to my hotel and I was starving. I simply had a burger and onion rings. It was not the greatest burger in the world or anything fancy but it was perfectly prepared.Their honey pepper bacon is worth a trek. If the people here prepared one of those higher end burgers, I think my favorite burger joints would go out of business. Also, they have respect for real meat. Check out the menu pic.
This place is unique in the sense that it feels like a roadside diner in the middle of know where. Even down to the decor and music they played. Our waitress came over before we were even seated and was asking for drink orders, then stood there waiting when we asked for a minute to look over the menu. The house salad was bitter. And the pizzas cheese seemed very generic, think of like a school lunch pizza. The only thing spicy on the flame thrower burger was the jalapeños. Maybe they just forgot the rest. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the honey peppered bacon! That is such a delightful blend of flavors. You must try this!! H
Ordered the burger cooked medium. Picked it up, I had to wait an extra 20 minutes past its promised ready time. Which was fine I know restaurants are short-staffed right now. BUT got it home, absolutely terrible. So dry, gray and gross. Cooked well, well done ☹Will update this if they offer replacement or refund. As i was already back home i wasnt about to drive all the way back. Had i been at restaurant Id of sent it back.
Clean restaurant with a laid-back atmosphere and friendly staff. Offers a small variety of cuisines, including (but not limited to), burgers, sandwiches, and pizza. Staff was accommodating to our party of 8. Kids pizzas are what one would consider a personal pizza and more than enough for a kid. Mozzarella sticks are good, as is the BBQ pulled pork sandwich (pictured with review).
We dined here three times now. We had an issue on one of our visits, and they were extremely responsive. Love the varied menu and the best burgers on this side of the Metroplex. We will have to make MANY more visits just to get a good cross section of their menu. We’ve yet to try their brunch, simply because everything else always looks so good…it almost feels like we’re cheating on the burgers if we don’t order at least one.
I’ve lived in Allen for almost 12 years now and never went to Two Rows for the first time until a couple weeks ago, and since then my family and I have went 5 times. My personal favorites are the brisket tacos, the Chili, and Nates BBQ Firecrackers. And of course the pizzaI’ll definitely be back soon
EXCELLENT! CANT SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT THIS PLACE. VISITING FROM OUT OF TOWN. FOOD IS SUPERB, FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OUR SERVER JACOB WAS PHENOMENAL. HAVENT HAD THIS TYPE OF GREAT SERVICE IN A VERY LONG TIME. THEY ARE DOING GREAT THINGS. HAD THE CHICKEN AND HONEY BACON SANDWICH, FRIES, STUFFED AVOCADOS AND THE BROWNIE EXPLOSION FOR DESSERT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I have been coming here for over 15 years. That says something. The food is always consistent. The menus was recently tweaked further expanding on some already fantastic food to please any palate.Brick oven Pizza, pick one of the many available or create your own. My fav? Fresh Jalapeno and Honey Pepper Bacon. Yeah, you read that right. They have one of if not the best burgers in all of DFW. The Flame Thrower. Dont let the name scare you, I mean, its hot, sure, but it is so unbelievably good, youll enjoy every bit of the heat.Everyone from the Owners (husband and wife) to the Managers, Hosts and waitstaff are always friendly and attentive. If your just here for a visit or live in town, dont leave without stopping by.
Baine Patrick Mike and the crew are amazing! Here in Allen for a convention and this team handled our eating accommodations every day flawlessly. From 10 to 20 of us each time and Baine was the ultimate host! I will come back in from Vegas just for the honey pepper bacon. Thanks for hosting us
Food was very good, wife had the cheese fries and I had a cheese burger and fries. Hostess was very polite with a good since of humor. Wait staff was attentive but not hovering. The chief came around to ask us about our meal and to see if we had any issues. We are going back to try some other items on the menu. 👍👍
Updated: 29DEC20121. The double stack quesadillas are to die for. They did not skimp on chicken, beef or the cheese. The spice was very balanced and complemented the entree. You will definitely want to put this on your “to try” list.Original:Chicken fried steak was okay but not what I consider a great West Texas chicken fried steak. I did eat it all but it was not the best part of the meal. Mashed potatoes and borracho beans were delicious. The Allen eagle eggs were spicy and stuffed with brisket. The rolls are to die for. The gravy for the chicken fried steak was spot on. The service and attention to customers is impeccable.
The food was good. The hospitality was even better. This was my first time coming here. We had mimosas and they were yummy. They have so many yummy flavors to choose from. I had the shrimp and grits without the sausage and it was very good. I will definitely visit them again.
I became familiar with Two Rows appx 3 years ago, and I go there quite often. The food is always good. The staff is always polite and attentive. Although Ive never gone there on the weekend, I do plan to go this Sunday ~ eat and enjoy the Cowboys game. I recommended this location to a friend, that will be joining me. It will be his 1st time.
Some good, some bad. The honey pepper bacon shrimp was delicious, but the sides honestly fell a little flat. Wouldnt be upset for more seasoning like what came on the shrimp. The service was top notch, without a doubt, but the bar felt a little stuffy. Finally, the prices were higher than I expected, but the main course was pretty dang good. Better spots in the area, but worth coming here, if nothing else, for the bacon. Seriously.
Wow. Great food and great service. Wade was the bomb. The hostess was leaving out the door when we came in and she dropped her stuff and took us to a table. Wow. Who does that? The salmon was amazing. Moist and tender. The capers on top were a hit. The chocolate explosion was fun and good. I just can’t miss at this place. Amazed every time.
1st time visiting and Im ashamed to say Ive driven by this location for years and never stopped. Oh my goodness what a great experience! Customer service was awesome and the owner gave very personal table touches! Now let me brag about the food! The bacon was as good as recommended. All of our meals were awesome and I loved the Shrimp and Grits. Not only will I be back, but it will become a stop for my golf buddies after our weekend rounds! Simply awesome!
We visited Two Rows a few days ago. My husband got grilled chicken w/ 2 sides and I got the chicken enchiladas. I think this place is better for American food. I liked the chicken but the rice tasted microwaved. Still a good place, just stick with their specialties. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating.
First time eating here. Ordered online for pick up and followed steps when we arrived. Waited for almost 10 minutes in the 1st curbside spot (there were no other cars waiting). Finally had to go inside and wait for someone to notice me. My food had been sitting on a metal table. I work in food service so I understand that there isnt always staff for curbside but then change the directions of what new customers should do when they order for the first time. Paid over $30 for COLD food and an over cooked burger. Not a good impression. Disappointing lunch to say the least.
Such a great to have here in Allen, Blaine and his staff are amazing! We had the pizza and wings and they were so delicious! For dessert we had the brownie explosion and oh my....smelled and tested heavenly! Never had a bad experience, definitely a place to become a regular at!
So sorry I didnt take a picture of the food. It was horrible, seriously inedible! My husband ordered Chilli and it had a disgusting smell to it. My chicken came with all the things I asked on the side, on top of it and I couldnt eat it. My sons hamburger was dry ,just buns and meat, the fries were dry. Anyway, we left the table 99% full, paid what we needed and left. We will not go back there unfortunately
On Tuesday, October 5, 2021, we (party of 3) went to dine at Two Rows in Allen, Texas. Two of us ordered the Chicken Tortilla Soup and I had the Soup and salad Combo. The Chicken Tortilla Soup was horrible. It had thick chicken broth and no taste. My salad has more stems than the stale croutons. One thin slice of a tomato and very pale iceberg with very little romaine for color. One of my friends could not even finish the Chicken Tortilla Soup it was so bad. the Waiter (Brent never smiled and only can twice to our table. He check and fill our glasses of water and then to give us the tab/bill. Will never return to this restaurant.
Food was good therefore we will be returning. But our waitress was NOT Chloe G please learn some people skills, speak up, come back and check on your quest for refills ect. Also work on your greeting and dismissal of customers. But yes food is good a little on the warm/cold side and they were out of what my husband wanted to order but well chalk it up to being late close to closing time. So we will go back earlier and see if its worth recommending. ✌
Stayed in town for the weekend right next door to this restaurant. Went to check it out and was sat down with my family. Other people came in after and was served and tend to even though we came in before them. We left after being there for a good while without being served drinks or anything. Food looked good though from the menu
Food is amazing . Wade is amazing. We come here for a massive card show and the owner is an great person. I could go I into details but I will just say you won’t be disappointed! Great food and even more amazing owner. Thanks for your time and we won’t forget what you did. You are an amazing person!
I had the BBQ Firecrackers and the Hog wild ice cream. Both items lived up to their name. The Firecrackers had enough heat for a tingle on your tongue, delicious btw, and the ice cream with bacon proved that bacon goes with everything! We will definitely be going back. Next time Im trying the bacon wrapped shrimp!
We came with a party of 4 at about 140 on 1/23 for brunch, the staff was able to accommodate us even though brunch ended at 2. I ordered the chicken and waffles with a mimosa flight. The waffle was very good but the chicken was chicken tenders with no flavor, I’m used to having chicken on the bone for chicken a waffles. The mimosas were warm not cold but tasty. Our server was nice and attentive, the owner walked past our table several times and not once did he acknowledge or thank us for coming. During trying times like COVID-19 a business owner should be grateful for support, I’m pointing this out because he was very friendly with other patrons. I may go back again I’m not sure.
Wed just gotten out of the movies and were starving! Placed our order on their app for 7 pm for pickup. Thought wed be waiting for 15 minutes, since we got their early. The order was ready & waiting for us! By the time we called to let them know we were there. As always, the HoneyPepper Bacon burgers we ordered were FANTASTIC (as always)! Bain got us hooked on them at the beginning of the pandemic. Now, its the only thing we order, because theres nothing like it!
I have been wanting to try Two Rows out for a very long time and I finally stop in for diner. Everything was very good. We had 2 appetizers which were very good and everyone in my party enjoyed their entree! We plan to try the brunch very soon. Cant wait to for BRUNCH! See yall soon!
We have been here a few times and have been happy every time... but tonight was really special. We are in the process of adopting 3 beautiful children. This is adding to the 8 we have, 2 of which were with us tonight and suffer from Autism. A thousand things can go wrong... a few did... but David Slaughter and his team made us feel like family. There are not many places that remember how to take care of a family and to serve the customer. This place is a diamond. They made us feel blessed, honored, at home... I would have invited everyone of these people to sit down with us and be a part of the family. It was a very special night and I really appreciate the team.
Enjoyed the Allen Eagle Eggs (stuffed jalapenos), great pizza, and who doesnt love some Honey Pepper Bacon. Reasonable draft prices and great staff. We were there for an Allen Americans watch party and the game ran beyond their normal closing time. Staff remained and was friendly / helpful right up until we left. Thanks for hosting!
One of the best places in the world!!!! I just hate my favorite waitress hasnt been there. She has put me on some of the best food choices!!!!! Other than that its my favorite restaurant and if you go pleaseeeee Try the bacon, ranch burger, and get yourself a cocktail of you are old enough. Please drink responsible.....
First time dining there, and my experience was horrible at this black-owned restaurant. Took an hour to seat my friends and I. Mind you, theres no reservations on Sunday. First come, first serve. Several other caucasian groups was seated before us, and we were there before them. We were the last people to be seated. When we seated, we noticed that there were plenty of booths available in our area. My friend told the owner about the discrimination that we had just experienced, and he disregarded it by saying that he couldnt accept it. What ever happened to the saying that the customer is always right? No apology for the service, nor did he take any accountability, and acknowledged that what happened was wrong. The only thing he did was cover the tab, but the point is that he didnt resolve issue at hand. We couldve easily paid for our meal. So disappointed. My friends and I will never dine there again.Mr. Owner, you are entitled to your opinion, just as I am entitled to mine. You will not denounce my right to an opinion sir. Obviously, your definition of discrimination is different from ours, but to each its own.
This place was great! First time in a long time we have been to a restaurant that we enjoyed and want to go back.. The service was good very timely and friendly. The food..the food..so good..we started with pepper bacon and queso both were delicious. Fried fish ,chicken fajitas and bacon mac n cheese for dinner...all were very good but the bacon mac n cheese is so scrumptious Im sure we will get this every visit. Fried ice cream was amazing and the bread pudding was unexpected not your normal bread pudding it has a unique taste definetly worth trying both. Manager was friendly and talking andl aughing with everyone .Has hand sanitizer and wipes on each table which we felt was a great idea. Two Rows is truly worth trying our family will be going back.
My husband and I have been eating here for years and during our last visit, we both noticed that this is one of the few restaurants we have seriously never had a bad experience with. Sorry it took so long to leave a review! But the servers are always amazing and I love how there are always new things on the menu. Not that Ive tried them, I always get the same thing, the blue cheese burger. Probably the best burger Ive ever had, every single time. We love this place!
I frequently visit this area of Allen and am extremely happy with the service and the food at TwoRows. We always come in with a large group, and they are always accommodating and attentive which so often is not the case. I highly recommend the bacon appetizer and the steak!
Saw this place on TV show highlighting the great food they offer. It was amazing! The service was excellent and mgt staff was friendly. The food was fresh and hot and of high quality. We had the Cajun pasta and ribs. Plenty of food for each serving. Tried the honey pepper bacon as an appetizer and it was such a treat, sweet but with a pepper bite. We plan on trying the brunch next weekend. We saw the brunch menu and it had some great brunch combos. Prices were fair for the amount of food and quality you get. Gotta give it a try, you’ll be very happy. The wood fired pizzas looked yummy too!!!8/21/21 Felt like I lost an ole friend today at Two Rows. Since my first review I became somewhat a regular. Having lunch at least twice a week and several brunches. Have brought several customers in with me for lunch and normally enjoyed the food and service. Today was pretty poor in many ways. I came in for a late lunch around 2pm. Ordered pizza/salad combo. I asked for a little extra dressing with my salad, got just the regular amount, no big deal. I started with the salad and when my server came by to check on me, I asked for the extra dressing and possibly some more croutons please. She said sure but also informed me the pizza cook forgot about my mini pizza and burned it. Wow, empty restaurant and he forgot, but things happen. She said he’ll make another. As I watched him make the pizza ( I was two tables away from the pizza oven) I noticed my server headed to clean a big table across the restaurant, still without the dressing and croutons! I had to laugh at this point. Several minutes passed and the pizza was done. However it sat by the pizza oven on a table ledge as several servers , 7 in fact passed it by as my server was still bussing the big table. Finally some snapped and the mini pizza made its way to me and my dry salad. The pizza was a mess. Big glop of half melted cheese with cold pizza sauce and barely cut slices. The crust was still uncooked and just plain nasty. But guess what, after telling my server I was truly serious about the salad dressing and croutons, they showed up, whoohoo! Now to credit the owner, he did come out and offer a coupon and apologized. I realize all restaurants have bad days but today was my turn I guess. I would have more understood if the place was packed but it was just me and a table of 3 guys in the entire place! Like I said, felt like I lost an ole friend today, a place I use to love to eat. This was my experience, but you need to judge yourself and give them a try. Hopefully on one of their good days.
The owner is amazing! He opened his restaurant to ensure those without electricity and food had a place to come. The food was delicious. We had their pizza, vegetables, seafood pasta, chicken sandwich, grilled chicken, pork chops, and their avocado egg rolls. Everything was spectacular!
Worst service ever. Embarrassing when you go with a group of your friends because you tell them how good the food and the service is. Sat dawn and three drinks came out the fourth one did not. Had to ask for that one. Three plates out of five came out. The other two plates were delivered to the table behind us. Ours not only had to be cooked again but mine was supposed to be medium and it was dry as hell. Our server did not even apologize for the mistake he was to busy talking to the table on the side of us. Twice I had to ask him for Mayo. I was halfway done with my burger by the time it came out. Our server was pathetic
If youre looking for a place with fantastic customer service and delicious food, then might I recommend TwoRows. Their burgers are cooked precisely how you want it and their pizza is solid. Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner they have whatever youre in the mood for. Their bacon is a dessert might I say. Top Tier Bacon worthy of its own review.
My wife and I had pizza last night and it was terrific!! I had the 5 meat (wow! it was delicious) and she had the Classic Supreme (she loved it). We were so impressed with the Staff and the food that we came back today and got a couple of the BIG OLE BURGERS. once again good food plus a great staff. Try it , youll like it.
Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. Had the shrimp and grits. It does not present well. It looked like slop when it arrived. The texture was off for the grits. Very mushy with no flavor. It was so soupy that I had to fish around in the goop to find the tiny pieces of sausage. I was also very excited to try the biscuits but I didnt order one. However, one came with my dish and I was so happy only to find it was hard as a rock which actually cut my gums. My daughters was the same way. We couldnt even finish it past the first bite.
Fantastic beer and great appetizers. I tried the honey pepper bacon and stuffed avocados, both were absolutely worth the trip. The oatmeal stout is probably the best stout Ive had in Texas. The service at the bar was delightful, Amanda is personable, knowledgeable, and legitimately cares about what she is doing.
The service was excellent. Ive never seen happier people working in a restaurant. We had a couple issues with the food - wed gone in late and some things were not as fresh as they should have been. But the owner was awesome, offered to remake anything and everything and even gave us a discounted bill. The cheese sticks are amazing, so was the pizza but the fried pickles with sriracha were the best fried pickles Ive ever had. I really really like this place.
In town for a sports tourney. Stumbled on this place after hours of waiting at other places. Party of 10 was met by Blaine (turned out to be the owner). He walked us through every dish, how it was made and recommendations. ONE OF THE BEST MEALS I HAVE EVER HAD. Price good, service good, ribeye to die for. Went back for breakfast the next day. You will not be disappointed..
This place was very, very good about two years ago. It has steadily gone down in quality over the past year. The food quality just doesnt seem the same. Also, there a person who claims to be the manager (not sure) but he will interject himself into a situation and then turn it into a real mess. Take it now as a hit or miss type of place...
Im not someone to give 5 starts because I always feel there is room for improvement and while there may be some here, I didnt see it. If you have never been here OMG YOU ARE MISSING OUT!!!! First the employees couldnt be any nicer. Our server Areli was absolutely awesome. The owner Baine is definitely a class act. He knows what he is doing. He has hands down the best collard greens Ive ever tasted. Not to mention MIMOSA FLIGHTS. We cant wait to go back again and again and again. The food was incredible. We walked in customers and walked out family! Chicago loves you guys and Wisconsin
Used to dine here fairly often. It is pricy for what you get in my opinion, but was ultimately pretty good food.Ordered here today. The worst thing I have had in a very long while! Terrible, I mean microwave meals are better than this! So, I got a meal that would be overpriced even if it were good...and it was Not!Cant get a worse deal than that.
Surprisingly good. I drive past this place everyday on 75, never went there until yesterday, looking for good chicken fried steak. Was not disappointed. One of my boys got a big burger with bacon. He said the bacon was awesome, which is something from him. Myself, I really liked the side of Merlot Mushrooms.
Ok, I have been to the place 4 - 5 times in the last 6 months and I have never been disappointed. Let me start with this, if you are there when the owner is present, be prepared to be greeted by the chef himself. An outstanding gentleman that takes pride in rhe incredible food he serves. Now, the food. I have had several dishes here from the double stacked quesadillas to the stuffed chicken breast. Not to forget to mention the CHEESE LOGS which is a meal in itself, as well as his famous bacon. The bacon will keep you coming back, trust me!My favorite meal was probably the smothered porkchops. It reminded me of home, not eating out at a restaurant. We had one incident with a new waitress who forgot out appetizers, but the owner quickly fixed the situation. This is by far my #1 place to eat lunch and dinner..And dont forget about the breakfast buffet on sunday..
The is our favorite family restaurant!!I have never had a bad meal here. The staff and management provide excellent service. When the owner is in house he always stops to speak with each table. We bring all our out of town family and friends here for a great meal. And FYI... The weekend brunch is a great price and so so yummy.
They are not following the Governor’s rules for indoor dining. Sat us in a booth between packed booths - no partitions, no 6 feet between diners. We moved to the patio. Our server was great, but management needs to space tables according to the guidelines. Won’t be back until I know they’re doing that.
This place is downright exceptional in every way! My teenage son and his girlfriend both expressed unusually fervent excitement about the taste of their food. My wife was not happy at first with the way her steak was cooked but the chef actually came out to our table, discussed the issue, and re-prepared her meal BEYOND her expectations.Service was outstanding! We LOVED Two Rows.
This HAS TO BE A MUST for out of town guests - A hometown experience and delicious freshly prepared food like no other place.A large variety of choices to please every palate.Dont forget to try the honey pepper bacon - in variety of dishes or by itself. My out-of-state Grandson passed by Baine Brooks, the owner, and Baine took the time to speak to him during a busy lunch hour.I dont know anything about their conversation; however, my teenage Grandson came back to the table and commented: He is such a great guy. Two years later he still speaks about the experience. I appreciate this because my Grandson wants to go into business after college and this was an important lesson for him about graciousness in dealing with others.Baine treats his employees well and it shows in their exceptional service.Baine and his wife, Juli, are hands-on owners. You will spot them in the kitchen, serving food, bussing and cleaning tables as well as taking a moment to speak to the customers.
This place is absolutely wonderful! We have been 5 times now and the service is always phenomenal. Everything we have ordered including the deserts and in house brewed beer has been absolutely top notch. Classic grill is absolutely the feel you get when you walk in, but know that this aint no Apple Bees, this is a fantastic choice for a great and filling meal.
Came here for brunch on a Saturday. The buffet style brunch isnt always the best, but Two Rows has it down! Plenty of hot, fresh, homemade biscuits with gravy. The famous bacon is top notch, of course. Fruit and scrambled eggs (two kinds, cheesy good!) And even the sausage links tasted just right. My friend is gluten free and she ordered some enchiladas that came with rice. Once they found out she was gluten free they changed the rice to a gluten free option with cilantro. We didnt even have to ask, they took GREAT care of us! Cant wait to come here for dinner. Everything tasted so fresh, I imagine dinner is also excellent.
I ordered dinner for pickup for the first time tonight, and sadly, I may not return. The issue started when I arrived. I checked in for the food to be delivered curbside. I didn’t really choose curbside, would have happily went in and grabbed my food, but when I checked in, the site said the food would be brought to me. Cool. Waited until my pickup time, watching everyone else go into the restaurant, and after several minutes passed, decided I would just go in and see what’s going on. They said the computer had been messing up and my food had been ready for a while. Ugh. It was barely warm. Like if you know your computer is messing up and you have curbside orders, why wouldn’t you call or text to see if I’m there or let me know my food is ready? So I take it and go to leave, then realize I should have gotten chips and salsa with my Tex-mex order. So I go back in and ask and they pour chips into a bag and hand it to me and tell me sorry and have a good night. I didn’t see any salsa, but thought maybe they put it in the bag somewhere. So I get to my car and check, no salsa. I wasn’t going back in for a 3rd time, so I just left. The food was not the worst I’ve had, but far from the best. I should have gotten retried beans, but received a different kind of beans. And the chips were burned. Just not a good experience.
Awesome Honey Pepper Bacon!!! Blaine Brooks and staff have done an excellent job of taking food to a new level of delicious. After ziplining nearby we were looking for a great place to eat a late lunch. We could not have chosen any better. Come hungry, you will be glad you took my advice to eat here!
They have the most variety on the menu of just about anyplace in the area and pretty much everything I have tried is good. But the big news is that the bar is now nonsmoking! No more waves of smoke rolling out into the dining room every time the door to the bar is open. Kudos to the owners for making this change and doing it right. They have replaced furniture, painted and cleaned to pretty successfully get the stench out. Much better for customers and much healthier for their staff. Thank you!!!!
I do really like this place! I do especially like that Honey Pepper Bacon, but it has its drawbacks. For instance, go in for breakfast or brunch and you want milk with your meal and it is $3.49 a glass and they dont fill your glass. So, you are paying more than it costs you for a whole gallon of milk at the store. I tend to drink a lot during my meal, say 2.5 glasses and that is $10.50 just for my beverage and I havent even gotten to my wife yet. She will drink 1.5 glasses so that is $7. So then our milk bill alone is an astronomical $17.5 before even getting to the meal and if I were to want to drink Orange juice too, or instead, it is a whopping $4.49 a (not so large) glass. I dont know about you but I think that is a deplorable rip off. Unless I am drinking alcohol and drink order should never exceed $6 on the high side for however many refills a person drinks. Now, I do realize that these 2 items are typically more expensive than tea, and soft drinks but it is usually not that astronomical. In addition there brunch price should actually include the drink as I understand buffet. It would be better to simply charge an even $15 and include whatever you want to drink to me. In any case, while the wait staff have that typical new disease that is so common everywhere you go these days in which they never seem to be looking your direction enough that you can hail them with a simple raised hand, they are very pleasant when you are actually interacting with them! My wife and I have been there 2x for the Sunday Brunch arriving at like 12:30 and driving from Wylie (a decent distance) and we have enjoyed the breakfast buffet both times with the exception of the fact that I am choking down my food to avoid drinking too much and spending more on the drink than we do on the food. Many other items on the menu look very good and we are looking forward to going in for an evening meal when we can order tea or a soft drink and pay $5 for our beverages and trying out some of the entrees on the menu that really do look good! I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars for real good breakfast food (really good grits, if you like grits), the Mexican eggs are really good too, and the service is at least very pleasant!
This is a very well-managed restaurant, kudos to whoever runs this place. I usually get take-out. The people at the counter almost always open up each food container to show me that everything is as it should be. I appreciate that since it seems something is missing or wrong from an order nearly half the time I get takeout somewhere lately. They have a big menu, prices are fair, portions are good, and Ive yet to have something here that I didnt like. Food is always hot, fresh and very consistent. The restaurant is clean, and atmosphere is good.. no loud music or TVs blaring. Try their macaroni sometime, its so good.
The food was very good and the manager was very friendly. The wait staff is young and it showed. They kept gathering is groups to gossip and would forget about waiting on the tables until you got their attention. When you got their attention they would do a good job then back to their gossip group.
Ate here with a large party (20ish people). Service was good even with the large group, the staff was friendly and the chef even came by to see how we liked everything. The food was good and the honey beer muffins were really great. Decent atmosphere with plenty of TVs to catch a game.
I called in an order (from Arizona) to surprise my friend with a birthday dinner. I was unable to order online, so I called the restaurant directly. My experience started with the sweetest girl taking my order and ended with my friend thanking me for the best burger shes ever had! Thank you for making her her birthday dinner for her family perfect!!
I attended with a large party a few weeks ago. The staff was so friendly and curtious, even though we were a rowdy bunch with about 8 kids under the age of 10.The food is absolutely delicious, and very affordable! I was most surprised to learn that some of their steaks even come from cattle raised in Melissa, TX.I will definitely be stopping by on my trips to Dallas.
Although we stopped coming for about 6 months due to the service, we decided to give it a try since weve always liked the food. So far, weve been back twice (we used to go once to twice a week), and it seems like the service has improved, so will see if it continues. I do wish they would add some all day breakfast items to the menu, that would be nice. The managers have always been gentlemen and true professionals, the servers however, were very subpar on a consistent basis, I was scorched earth and thought I would never come back it was that bad, but never say never I guess, I will update as we go back and hopefully my future reviews will be a 5 star, well see.
We had the seafood fondue. It was really good. I would recommend offering a loaf of bread the hard toasted bread chips were not great. We asked for bread. And it was way better and made the fondue taste better. The blue cheese burger was good as well as theAnd cajun pasta was really good
Great place with tons of different foods! Im always skeptical of places that have a ton of different types of foods, but they manage to nail them all! My wife loves their chicken fried steak, I like their enchiladas, their Cuban sandwich, and they have a burger with chili and a fried egg on it thats incredible. They have a great breakfast buffet thats a really great value as well, and a lot of cool beers you cant find anywhere else. Check it out if youre on the fence, you wont be disappointed!
We had a great time for a pre wedding dinner with bride/groom parents and friends. Had a buffet of fajitas and fixings and everything was done perfectly. Reserved their big patio and it was perfect. Cocktails were very reasonable. I would highly recommend for a similar type of event if you want a great night with great food at a reasonable price. SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT!!
Its a little on the pricey side but definitely worth every cent. The unique pepper honey bacon they have here is incredibly delicious. The fried catfish is outstanding and the burgers are fantastic. The environment here is definitely festive, and services are great. They also have brick oven pizza which I need to try here soon! Will recommend for anyone in the area!
Absolutely 5 star! I dont give out 5 stars often. This was an amazing experience! The food was top notch as well as the service! Bryson was our server and had a smile on his face the whole time! Dave, the manager, came to talk to my husband about their Craft beers after he ordered the sample paddle. We enjoyed visiting with him and its nice to finally go somewhere with great food and great service! We will definitely be back! The menu has a wide variety of foods.Great selection of beers. The salads are HUGE!The seafood fondue is really good!
I am a foodie. I had the best experience last night for this to be my first time eating here. My waitress Jaycee was great and so sweet. The bartender Gigi was great and made good drinks I had the Rasberry Lemon Drop martini, Topshelf margarita, Skinny Margarita and a green tea shot. I had the Allen Devil Egg for appetizer and dinner was the stuffed Tilapia with rice and broccoli and muffin.. Everything was definitely fresh just how I like it. I’ll be back for sure..
Customer service was excellent. Met the owner ,he was walking around to each persons table. We went on Fathers Day for their Buffet and the price was good along with all the different food !!! Very different. The food was pretty good too but more then anything meeting the owner. Having good laughter and being with family and friends around a good atmosphere was awesome :) We will be back. Cant wait to try the regular food on the menu !!!!!!
Great food, friendly staff. They have a wide selection of food and everything Ive had has tasted great. They will be open for Thanksgiving with a special holiday menu and I will likely pay them a visit for the holiday!Atmosphere is casual with mostly American cuisine. Lighting is dimmer with tables, booths, or a bar to choose from.
We live nearby and have been wanting to try this restaurant out, so we came here for dinner last night. We arrived around 7 p.m. and were promptly seated by the friendly hostess. The booth was too tall for the highchair we needed for our son, so we were quickly accommodated by moving to a table. The atmosphere was cheerful and comfortable. We were promptly greeted by our server, Elise. The service we received was fantastic. Elise was quick, informative and friendly. We didnt have to wait long for our beers or food. My husband got the Flame Thrower Burger, I ordered the Mayor Steve T Burger and we ordered the cheese quesadilla kids meal for our son. My husband said his burger had a great kick to it and was very tasty. I cant say enough good things about the Mayor Steve T Burger - it was cooked to perfection, tasted amazing and came out hot and fresh. What really impressed us was that the manager, Dave, stopped by our table TWICE to check on everything and make sure we had a great dining experience. He interacted with our son and made him smile, which is a huge plus in my book. When we were leaving the restaurant, again Dave thanked us for coming and invited us back again. Both my husband and I have worked as servers before, so we know great service when we see it. We will definitely be frequenting Two Rows Classic Grill in the future for the delicious food and the superb service!
I see why the bacon is it’s own entree!! Best bacon ever. One of my fav items is the blue cheese mushrooms burger. I’ve never had whole mushrooms on a burgers so I was worried about them being to imposing, but this burger is delicious! And easily one of the best menu items!
If you go to Two Rows, ask for Wade to be your server. Other than being exceptionally professional, he is kind and funny. He is the best server I’ve ever had at any restaurant, hands down. Thank you for making our small family dinner so pleasurable tonight Wade. You deserve a huge raise or promotion. Keep being great and kind!!!
My favorite here of course is anything with honey pepper bacon. I really enjoy their food here and the value paid for the meals. Lots of choices and the service is really good. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because there bar is smoking and every time a server goes into the bar the smoke comes pouring out and makes the dining environment less enjoyable, especially if you sit closer to the bar door.
Not impressed with the food. The place was really dead and the service was still lacking. Had two different waiters and barely obtained service from both.We had one other waiter step in to take the payment and even that took forer and a day. Expecting to get in and out at a really slow time was not the case. The food was sub-par, which makes me wonder why a rib eye steak was also $28. Im kinda glad I didnt get it.Food needs to step it up a notch and the service could be more fast paced and friendly.I did seem like it could be a fun atmosphere, though.

2022-02-08WOW! The night we stopped in, the service from start to finish, was A+! There was a convention in town that weekend so there was a bit of a rush but we still didnt wait that long. The manager came out and chatted with us until we got seated, our food was really yummy, the server was SUPER nice and very efficient. As we were leaving, the manager caught up with us and checked with us to see how we liked it, which I thought was very nice.
