United States Postal Service in other cities:
Im an Etsy seller and I drop of a lot of packages. I never had any issues before last month. They lost every single one of my packages from one specific day which amounts to at least 30. I feel like my items were just thrown in the garbage or something. I understand that USPS is struggling right now but over 30 items? What happened???
I came all the way here from hancock area on a bus to retrieve held mail now that my neighborhoods post ofc on speedway closed. Loraine, woman behind dutch door past p.o. boxes, dark curly shoulder length hair, was sooo rude and happy to sarcastically give me her name in some kind of baby voice. She tried to make me look like i didnt understand how mail works!!! Even cut me off twice.UN-BELIEVABLE
Ive been coming to this branch five days a week for as long as its been open in this location, and the staff has been consistently efficient and friendly. To the sad parade of one-star reviewers I see here, Ive also seen you in line and seen you exhaust the clerks patience and act as if youre the center of the universe. Good God, Id love to give you a swift kick. Carry on, Northcross! Youre doing a fine job, and you have far more fans than you know.
Tried to rent a box. One of woman in the counter saw my documentation and said it was fine but she became busy. Then the other woman in the counter was free so I started giving her my info. All of a sudden I couldnt rent a box with that same info. Had to talk to manager but that snake counter woman went back there and talked to manager to back her up. Needless to say, I didnt get the box but went a few blocks to other post office and easily rented a box. Manager and the woman in the counter are worthless pretty much.
They are very aggressive and rude to when you first walk up to the counter. I simply came in to see why my package was not being delivered. I tried to show her the information on my phone. She refused to acknowledge what I was showing her. Then when she asked for the tracking number she implied I had the wrong number. I mentioned it’s a package coming from out of the country it will be a different number. Then her colleague did tell her yes the customers number is customs number. They said my package was in the facility but didn’t know where. My information was taken, but no one called me back. I know both ladies names, but I refuse to state who they are simple fact of privacy. I know when they read this they know who they are. I will probably not likely conduct business through here and use the one off Braker lane. They are a lot more friendlier and helpful.
Excellent staff and customer service! I had a package that was missing for a couple days, yet it said delivered (turns out it got buried in the shared package storage area all the residents in my apartment building share). I had called to get some assistance with the lost package (as Ive never experienced an issue like this before from this courier location). I received a personal phone call from the Mail Courier and she resolved my issue, by accessing the storage room and finding it herself. This resolution was facilitated by the staff at the Northcross location going above and beyond to assist me. Big thanks to everyone there!
I’m completely dissatisfied with my experience here. I must say that the customer service in post offices across the United States has gone completely down hill. There’s no such thing as kind, polite, compassionate and understanding. An African American lady here had a negative passive attitude with me because I packaged my shipment on site and used the wrong tape. It’s unbelievable how many things we have going on in the world yet she was worried about the type of tape I used on my package. This was extremely saddening. My advice to you all is to have your package ready to go right when you walk in so you can hand it to them, pay, and walk out. If not, prepare for poor treatment.
Ive had to go to this post office relatively frequently. I live in an apartment complex. Im on the first floor, right across from the mail boxes and they always leave a slip in the box saying that I wasnt home to accept the delivery when they have a package they cant take to the office and for some that will fit in the box, too. They also misdeliver to other boxes sometimes. Once they just left all the packages in front of the box including a sewing machine worth a couple hundred. Now Ive got a notification that my package was rescheduled due to my delivery preferences Nope. Office was closed so I dont deserve my package. Ive visited to ask about an overseas package which I never got a slip for and that they seem to have sent back to sender twice now and they didnt even look, just told me to talk to the seller and file if there was tracking. There wasnt because it was from Vietnam! They arent mean they just couldnt care less.
This branch is great! They are very kind, and get through lines quickly. I went in with a crazy case of missing parcel and the carrier took the time to talk to me about the return process for my box. They also have the machines for stamps and such- overall awesome branch even though USPS isnt so great.
The employees are tempering with my mail. Im a small business owner here in Austin, TX. The supervisor Mr. Brown couldnt inform me of the location of my package, or which one of the employees whom sign for the package. The supervisor didnt follow the proper policy and procedure, a pond arrival of my package. A yellow card should have been placed inside my PO Box informing me that my package has arrived but the postal service fell to do so.
Ive been to this location a couple of times and only had a long wait once, and it was understandable since its a small staff dealing with difficult people. Both times I had an easy time doing whatever I needed to do with virtually no issues (aside from a lack of pens, I suppose), and at a really cheap price for shipping.I dont know why so many USPS locations have rock-bottom review ratings, I guess some people are used to having their boots licked anywhere else they go.
Incredibly unimpressive staff. I have been missing two packages, if not more, for over two weeks now and I cant seem to get the manager to actually call me back a single time with an answer to my problem. I have called multiples times, even gone up in person and nobody can seem to get it together. Very disorganized post office. I would advise everyone to use a different post office for shipping purposes. If you have access to a different address, I would use that as your receiving address as well. My whole complex has been missing packages for over a month now with no solution to the postal problem in sight either. This branch needs to get it together.
I was warned by multiple people NOT to use this location, due to the employees rude attitude and lack customer service. The few times I have used this post office the employees were very rude, showed no respect to any of the customers. As soon as you walk in, it’s like they have an anger cloud over them directed towards you.
If you love bad service, this is the post office to use. I went here to get my mailbox rekeyed and now a month later I still dont have my key. Nyangela, the supervisor, had misplaced my work order when it was actually sitting on her desk for over a week. Ive gone in 3 separate times to turn in the same paperwork because they keep losing it. Also, after calling the office 10 times in a row with no answer, she told me they dont ever answer their phone because they are too busy. I recommend recording and documenting any transaction with this post office because they love to lie and pretend they dont remember anything they tell their customers. Its extremely sad to see people this bad at a job.
One start is too much for this place. Was my first visit since im new on town. I went to send a package but i dont have a box. I ask for help or recomendation because in not send package to offten. The staff was very rude. They not have any interest to help. I send some cookies, i hope they are ok because the lady on the couter drop my box to the floor a soon i give to her. I never use this location again. Those pleople need to get training how work with public.
First of all when you call the post office you cant get a real person. I learned this when I called to notify the post office that I was almost hit by our postal truck just a block or so from our house. The postal vehicle was driving WAY to fast and nearly hit me coming around a curb. We have children in our neighborhood, not to mention runners, walkers, pets, etc. When the line rings to the operator you cant get a real person either. Real nice. USPS.
I used to dread going to the USPS. Was in there today and they have really turned it around. Mr. Brown was working the line, took my notice and bought the package out promptly. There were 4 agents available and a manager watching and helping. They were very pleasant and professional.. Yay!
This is the worst post office. They have the most horrible customer service. And the manager definitely doesnt deserve her position. I walked in the doors right as the clock hit 5. All 4 workers looked up at me and watched me walk and stand in line. A few minutes later I walked over to the wall and grabbed a priority envelope and stood back in line. Come 5:11 and one of them looks up at me and says, maam we cant help you, the lady in front of you is our last customer. So Im wondering why did they wait for me to stand in line for 11 minutes before you say something first of all. Then I called the 1-800 number to complain, while on hold one of the workers closed the door in my face, then the supervisor being disrespectful and rude kept saying were trying to go home, you should of been here earlier, we close at 5. What you dont have a lunch? We been here all day and trying to go home, there is no reason for us to be having this conversation. I am shocked by their behavior and the lack of respect by each of those workers. NO ONE was in line behind me, so for them to turn down one person was wrong especially when I came in right at 5. I hope someone takes care of this situation at this one post office!
To the extremely rude arrogant postal worker whos go to phrase is, Your not listening to me. Please leave and get a job at MVD, your lack of talents would be much better suited over there.USPS needs to be dismantled. Fed EX, Amazon, UPS are far more professional, user friendly, and efficient.
Henry is one of the kindest men that I have ever met especially as a Post Office employee. He is the reason that I previously wrote a 5 star review. Unfortunately, I have to edit this review because of my experience on 3/2/17 with Lin. Now, I understand why there have been so many 1 star reviews as of lately. I mean this in the kindest way possible. I suggest Lin with the pink hair go back to Customer Service 101 training to remember how to treat customers. I have never in my 28 years of life been treated by a PO employee with such belittling disrespect. While writing addresses on Priority Labels that I had trouble finding, Lin made it clear that she had once been a supervisor, knew how to do everything and was training today. She was very vocal about her frustrations and I also witnessed her being rude to another customer about their handwriting. Yikes. I dont have to go here often, thank God but will avoid it indefinitely. If I ever have to return I will avoid this lady at all cost.
Even during the busy holiday times, I find the folks at this station to be professional, cool, and always helpful. Some are friendlier than others, but thats just human nature. Cant beat the prices, they do good work, and I for one am grateful for their existence and their dedication. Viva USPS!
Mail truck driver left three unattended mail buckets on my lawn while our mailman was delivering to the rest of our block. Tried calling this Post Office which is where our mail comes from but no one answered. At 1:20pm today 3 FULL Buckets of mail were left unattended on my lawn! Is that common practice? No one at the post office answered the phone when I called at 1:30pm.
I am a seller online and packages arent arriving at their spot as they are suppose to. I try to contact someone on the phone and no one ever answers the phone to help deal with the issue. After reading all the other reviews, and if someone lives locally, i would suggest contacting the police in regards to this issue. Someone is taking what doesnt belong to them.
Failed to deliver my package multiple times. When going here expect a 2-plus hour wait and indifferent staff. Unfortunately you *must* go here in person if your package was not delivered and it is a multiple-hour time waste to get something that should have been done correctly the first time.Disgusting, and Id give 0/10 stars if I could.
Been missing 3 letters for over a month - one of which had money stolen from it. The manager was completely dismissive and rude when I tried to figure out where my letters were, and when I asked if there was any process to file a claim for mail theft she said you can call the police if you want. Ive tried calling the post office on multiple occasions during business hours and no one answers the phone. I later found out there certainly is a process to file stolen mail claims through, which I did. Apparently my entire apartment complex has been having mail stolen, but the manager said no one one else has reported any problems. Somethings fishy here... I would say dont use this post office but you probably dont have a choice. Call higher ups to complain if you have issues
I never put a bad review unless they really deserve it.The workers here don’t really care about the customers or even to do a good gob. It seems like they do the very minimum to get trough the day.I am not coming here anymore, I had several emails saying that my package was here and they never found it.
I have never been treated so poorly at the post office. I showed up and was told they were closed. It was right at 5. The lady at the front was incredibly rude. I said they delivered my package to the wrong address and she said it would take too long and kept counting her money. Awful.
Typical treatment here is barely above rude (at best). This stations mail carriers seem largely inept too. My neighborhood (~1600-1800 block Houston and environs) used to have a great lady named Aisha, who was friendly and efficient. Now we dont have a regular assigned carrier, and mail is always late, mis-sorted, wet, or crammed thoughtlessly into the box. The Northcross p.o. management needs a serious overhaul.
Consistently smaller lines and personal assistance.example 1: last week i was about to mail a letter without a zip code. because there was no line, the employee took the letter himself, noticed there was no zip code, and walked me to the robot/machine and showed me exactly how to find any zip code id ever need.example 2: im on hold right now, waiting to find out if my friends package, which she labeled incorrectly, can still be delivered to me... the postal worker is doing everything she can to halt the package before it gets returned to sender. even if she cant fix the problem, shes kindly following leads and giving me all the info i need to understand the process.kudos!
So I was suppose to receive a package and it never got to my house. The email updates said is available to pick up. when i called, the lady who first answer the phone didnt have a clue on what i was talking about. seems like they have no manners and have no way of costumer service. i myself work with people and this ones just dont have a social instinct on how to treat others. dispite the fact thaT they cant do the job right. and to finish it off, the she sAID THAT MY PACKAGE WASNT SCANED AND IT WAS DELIVERED.. and i was home all day... BAD SERVICE!!!
Got a yellow card inside my post office box to pick a package and the supervisor, Norman, said three employees could not find it. This is the same man that keeps asking me for my home address everytime I come to pick up a package, and I refuse everytime. Today he got my phone number because he said he needed it. What kind of perverts does USPS have working here?
I dont use the US mailing service much so every time I need to ship something I just take it in and ask what I have to do. Theyre always very patient with me and point out the items I need. The price amazes me as its usually just a dollar or two for supplies and a few more to ship. No wonder the USPS is broke! I hope this facility doesnt get contracted as its a great community resource.
Rude staff that does not want to help at all. Dont answer any question and petty much give you a cold shoulder. Their drivers are unprofesional too ordered a package it said they attempted delivery and we never even saw a truck go by they just really dont want to do their job

2022-04-05They claim they “attempted” to deliver and couldn’t access my location. I took off work early to accept my package as it was pretty big and nobody showed up. My tracking just magically showed a delivery attempt when none was made and my unit in my apartment has no gate or fence or any kind of barrier to prevent delivery. They’ve delivered to me before, but I guess when it’s close to 5pm, they stop caring. And of course they don’t answer the phones at all, so good luck calling to inquire about what happened. I wish I could get paid to lie at my job.

2022-07-16I like this post office and have always had good experiences. What I want to review, though, is my neighborhood postal carrier. He is based out of the Northcross Post Office. My zip code is 78757. He has been my carrier for several years. His name is Jose. My mail is always accurate and delivered at a reasonable time. He is a fixture in this neighborhood. So friendly and personable. When I go out for a walk he always acknowledges me with a wave, a honk or a yell. This attention to detail and awareness helps make our area a safer place!! I can’t say enough good things about Jose. I see that he is popular with many of my neighbors, as well.

2022-05-28Apparently I have a package waiting at this post office. I received no notifications it was waiting. There was not a note on the door, or an email, or anything. The package is just sitting there. Fine, ill go pick it up on Saturday when I actually have the time. WAIT!!! These slackers are not even open on Saturday. Since when is the post office not open on Saturday. The ONE day people have time to go by. Nor rain, nor sleet, nor bullcrud! Can we stop wasting our tax dollars on these losers and just let fedex do it?

2022-05-03Its bad enough we cant access our boxes after hours and thereby absolutely unacceptable to lock the front door prior to 6pm. I work all day and if I get there at 5:59pm that door should be open. The guy who locks up just stood there and stared at me with a smug attitude while he gloated.I stood there for at least 15 minutes watching some lady self-mail a package while Mr lazy-smug brooded. It would have taken me less than 15 seconds to get my mail. Shame on you!

2022-07-28Post office is opened, but no one wants to open the door to give us our mail. Couriers hear people inside talking when they buzz after 7:30am. Same problems, different location. I spoke with Roland Sanchez already about all these issues going on. Nothing has changes, just getting worse.

2022-01-25The woman up front was incredibly rude. The moment I walked up she looked at my box which had one untaped end and said ‘You’re not ready.” I very kindly asked if I might borrow a piece of tape to close the one open flap. She refused in a very smiteful manner and said ‘didn’t anyone ever tell you we don’t provide tape?’ as if it gave her some type of pleasure.

2022-01-13Thursday afternoon 2.30ish on Jan. 13th of 2022. Only one persn in the store, its a slower seeming time, and she was running the whole store super efficiently and with an EXCELLENT attitude. I tend to dread going to the post office but this was a great, quick visit!

2022-02-15Dropped off a package a week ago and no tracking updates so far. Tried calling multiple times but no one answers my calls.Called them 10 more times but no one answered. Why even bother having a phone number at all?

2021-12-27The self service machine doesn’t work and there is one person working the desk. Sad state of affairs! And multiple employees it wearing masks.

2020-06-03Go to a different USPS. Thats what Im doing from now on. Need to ship something fast via Priority Mail? Go elsewhere. If you must use this branch, avoid the person working on the right side of the counter. She is very rude and unhelpful with questions. She wasnt correctly wearing a mask last time either (it was on her chin for the duration of our interaction). The person on the on the left side is actually nice. They dont process and ship packages until much later, even if you show up at 8:30 am and pay for priority mail at the counter. Its very annoying to show up that early only for the tracking to update as accepted at either 5 pm or 11 am the next day. This has happened to 5 separate packages Ive shipped through this branch. As far as receiving mail, I once had a time-sensitive Priority Mail envelope with sensitive personal information get delayed at this branch for 2 days before they finally managed to deliver it to me.
