Sincerely wish that I could give this a 0 star rating. This post office is absolutely terrible. No one cares, packages are stolen and lost frequently. Mail is delivered incorrectly and the Postmaster is useless. They do not answer the phone and are absolutely not helpful in-person. There is absolutely nothing positive to say about this place. Terrible terrible terrible.
Our mail carrier is very rude. We have our mail box key now and the mail carrier still refuses to deliver our mail, instead he takes it to the post office and marks Held at post office, customers request. Our office is open from 8AM- 8PM so theres no reason for us to NOT receive our mail or packages. Other offices here get their mail delivered to them but its a problem with us. Why?
Along with many others it seems, my packages are always lost. I also get many that get sent to the wrong post office from Conroe. Often they say theyve delivered when they havent, say the address is wrong (but it isnt), and is often delivered to the wrong address. Oh, and dont plan on getting them on the phone...youll be waiting forever
This is actually a good day bc the package actually showed up, as most DONT! I have collected pics over the years just like this & have tried everything in the book to fix the issue, I’ve finally learned you can’t help worthless employees that don’t care & can’t get fired thanks to the union! Please note that not only is this package fragile with breakable items inside, this isn’t even my gate!!!!! This is MY NEIGHBORS GATE!!!! You would HAVE TO ACTIVELY TRY to do a GOD AWFUL JOB DAILY to FAIL THE WAY THESE INCOMPETENT PEOPLE DO EVERY DAY AT THEIR JOB! It’s pathetic & infuriating!!! I’ve confirmed many times looking at the nextdoor app that everyone in my area has the same awful issues with USPS.
Had a package unable to be delivered on the 25th. Ok, no biggy...so I go online and reschedule for the 27th. Well, in all their wisdom of delivering mail, they decide to ignore my request completely and try to deliver on the 28th. Well mr postman....I didnt choose the 27th by crumpling dates on a piece of paper , shoving it up my a$$ and drawing at random....I chose the 27th because thats when there was someone available to sign for your delivery. Now you tried to go on and do your own thing because you know whats best...and deliver on the day after the date requested. Now I have to make an extra trip , wait in line and pray to god you have my package somewhere in back your dungeon.
I called this morning and they did a good job trying to find my package... what I dont understand why did I get a message that my package could not be delivered and then USPS carrier returned it to the sender... I receive so many packages everyday... why wasnt it sent to the post office so I could pick up....now is going back to China ....
I saw the ranking for this post office was a 1/5 and thought it couldn’t be that bad. The only reason it has a 1/5 rating, I suspect, is because the option for 0 stars is not an option. The people seem decent enough there just aren’t enough of them to function as a post office. Average time to pick up your mail is 1 1/2 hours. That seems prohibitively long for a fairly straightforward task.
This is a horrible place. Staff has very poor customer service skills. Robert is the only one that has a great attitude. It is sad that everyone ranks this place a zero to 1, and the corporate office doesnt see this. Things need to be address at this post office or they need to get some under cover bosses out to see on first hand whats going on. The line wait is 1hour just to pick up mail. But the second line moves well. And the manager will actually see ppl standing there and ignor us , . Please Corporate Office help.
I sent a priority mail and the mail carrier scan that it was delivered, but was not!!! SHE and I do mean SHE needs to be FIRED!!! after the apartment management confronted her about the missing package she got an attitude with the manager. USPS please fired that carrier, she is not capable of doing this job and getting any resolution about this personal belongings has been stressful. I will call everyday, file a complaint everyday, press federal charges just to get something done!!!! And I really wanted to give them 0stars
I ordered a package that was meant to be delivered on January 29th, January 29th came around and I still have the same update, “Package Acceptance Pending”. I cannot get a hold of an actual human being, and the automated service is not helpful in the slightest. Moreover, I’ve just received and update on another package that was “just delivered”, but is nowhere to be seen. This is the most unreliable shipment service I have ever used, if I could give a negative amount of stars, I absolutely would.
Is been a month since I requested a key for my new address location and still waiting this is redicules not having Access to receive my mail even on my old address they said is because off address change request told me twice to go check by and for what nothing just waist off time I wish they took more serious about all this important mail coming and not be available to receive it
Absolutely disgusted with them. It had been almost 10 weeks and I still do not have a mail box key. So I have to drive 20 miles once a week to collect my mail.I went to pick up my mail and there was none, they admitted they gave my mail to someone else, who has tried to use my credit card and has my drivers license . They never bothered to ask the people for ID just handed them my mail, and if I hadn’t said anything, they would have continued.I called my zip code supervisor and his exact words “ I have 140 employees, how am I supposed toKnow what they are doing”, I said that’s your job.I called the head postmaster Ms McCoy last week and she can’t be bothered to call me back.The only person who had been helpful is Crystal and all she can tell me is “ there are some people that have been waiting 4 MONTHS for a mail box key.I am sorry, but that is completely unacceptable. Someone at that post office needs to be held accountable for my mail being given to the wrong people. But no one will take responsibility for it.Completely unacceptable!
For anyone reading this, bare with me.They delivered to the WRONG ADDRESS and had my package SIGNED BY SOMEONE ELSE other than me, and claimed that my order was delivered correctly and that the issue was resolved after it was escalated.However I have proof that the order was never delivered to my home address because I have security cameras on my property, the driver never stopped at my address, I never walked out to sign for it, and they have always dropped my orders inside the community mailbox or left a slip note inside the community mailbox. Yet they say it was delivered and I signed for it, well I asked for a copy of the signature to prove that I did not sign for it via their GPS Scans(Geo location) they denied me that.And my tracking information showed a different location other than my Home address. They have the ability to see who drove that day, and what time they delivered, but they kept insisting that it was delivered and signed correctly to my address even though that was a lie because I have video surveillance.I ended up losing a $250.00 order, this could have been resolved if management just took the time to see who delivered on route from what the tracking says and who signed for it via GEO location signature scan, but because it says delivered and signed for, I will not be reimbursed.Someone signing your package is illegal.its called “forgery,” and its a felony.My best advice is to Contact USPS on Twitter and make them aware of this locations bad management, they clearly dont respond to any emails or phone calls.
This is the second time my package has not been delivered or lost. I get notifications and there are notes saying they couldnt find a secure delivery spot (LIE). We have camera all over the house no one ever came by. I also blame this on UPS, which is the carrier it was previously with... Im getting sick and tired of UPS dumping our packages with the post office! People have become SO lazy. Do yourself a favor and shop in the stores! Receiving packages is always a headache these days!

Knowledgeable staff, had no issues with them when I went up there to request my lock to get replaced. Good luck with calling them though. Was put on hold for 40 minutes (which I was fine with, I understand that post offices get really busy) and then was hung up on. I called back again for them to pick up, realize it was me, and then immediately hung up on me when I was trying to check for held mail.
This is by far one of the most dysfunctional locations I have ever been to. The supervisor has yet again lied to my face about the whereabouts of a mailbox key. I paid for a mailbox key 3 months ago and have no knowledge of when or if it will ever be done. We live in North Conroe area and have been told multiple stories about why its not getting done. So basically youre paying for a service that does not get done by the federal post office. Personally if I were you I would just pay for a mailbox at the location so you dont have to stand in line an hour every time you go. Youre not able to speak with the postmaster because you have to go through a supervisor who wont contact you. Unfortunately this is Bidens administration
I was supposed to receive a package on the 26 of February. No knock, no ring, or any notice of any type. I received a notice from my tracking number saying that the package was undeliverable to my location. It is a residential address and the front/back door location is accessible and I was home all day. Thanks a lot for your extremely poor service.-Update-I know it is a 50 pound item but come on! I had to sit in in my front yard for a while and make sure that the mailman notices me to get my package delivered.
Start off positive-the staff who work in the post office are great! However, service to my home is terrible, inconsistent at best and unreliable usually. My packages also get lost or go to the wrong street... I cant imagine being this terrible at my job and not being fired... it has been this way for >10 years
This is the worst post office Ive ever been in and thats saying a lot for a military family. It takes a month to get a mailbox key if youre new. If you need to get your mail for pickup the line is always long as there doesnt appear to be many people working here. I will say there is a lady who answers the phone who went above and beyond to get me my mail, but a revamp is in order. If the city cares anything at all they would do something!
3 weeks ago I stand in line for 30 minutiae to make an appointment to get a passport because they dont answer their phone and their website is complete garbage.Cut my vacation short because I had an appointment for July 6th at 2:30pm, got a text to confirm my appointment.I show up at 2:15 pm and they dont do passports anymore. No text to tell me that, no sign on the door or anywhere in the building stating this. No explanation of why or when I can reschedule, nothing. Just a blank stare from the clerk. I cant stand this place. Nobody knows whats going on nor do they care to learn the procedures of their job.
Terrible service, at this point I cringe when I order something and it has to be delivered through USPS. The woman who delivers to my area has stolen packages, and when confronted they magically appeared in my locked mail box after the mail had already been delivered for the day. On top of multiple packages not being delivered because the mail carrier lies and states they attempt delivery but my house cameras prove other wise. A total disgrace as a government entity. Making a case on the driver for theft and another case to present to USPS main office. This is unacceptable.
We have had dozens of problems with this branch over the years. The biggest issue seems to be the contractors that deliver mail to our neighborhood. If you go more than two days without checking your mail, they will put it on hold. During a pandemic. Over a long weekend. We have gone to pick up our held mail and it was literally five items. They lie and say they delivered a package. Sometimes they put notices that you have a package, then dont give you the right key. They consistently deliver mail to the wrong address. On the plus side, you get to meet your neighbors.I will say one thing. The people actually in the branch office are unfailingly polite and helpful. But they just dont stand a chance of success when their delivery personnel are consistently making poor decisions. The extra star is for the nice people in the office.
I didnt get any mail yesterday that had an important letter from my mortgage company. Informed Delivery shows it should have been delivered yesterday. They delivered todays mail (as listed in Informed Delivery) but NONE of my mail missing rom yesterday was delivered with it? WTH? Each day we seem to have a different mail carrier. So Im guessing that carrier is riding around with it in their truck and will wait until their rotation is in my neighborhood. I have a deadline in 4 days to respond to that letter I never received that was supposed to be delivered yesterday! UNBELIEVABLE!!If I could give them zero stars I would. This is the worst post office in Montgomery County. They continually deliver packages and mail to the wrong address. No matter how much you call, they will never answer the phone. They dont care. I hope they go out of business so UPS can find a better partner to work with. This is ridiculous.
Old building, but these guys run a tight ship. Most of the time, it is crowded and I am still amazed at how quickly they push people through. They are usually doing passports and people waiting to pick up, but to go through line, you have to be a little patient and then its your turn. Keep up the great work.
Start by saying, if they wear a red vest they are no help and completely ignorant! Second, management here is no good! This place is a direct representation of the people running it. Joe Biden couldnt do a better job screwing it or the people that use this facility! 3rd, they lie lie lie. Was told 3 months ago I would have a key for my mailbox in 3 weeks! I have to continue returning here for mail only to be told they continue to send it out to a box they won’t give me keys to! I was expecting an express package of plants on Friday, Oct 17th. For some reason, even though I was home, I didnt hear the bell ring. Instead, I found a piece of paper laying on the ground saying the post office will deliver the package again the next day or I can sign and have somebody to pick it up at the post office. Because of this instruction, I didnt go to the post office the next day since I believe, my plants are out to deliver like what they mentioned.However, at 12:36pm on Saturday, I saw the mail man in my neighborhood, but he didnt have my package. When ask, he said nobody gave it to him to deliver!!! If I want to have it the next day, I should pick it up instead. I told him its never been mentioned in that piece of paper that they WILL NOT redeliver an Express package the next day!!! I could already picked it up first thing in the morning had I known that. I ask him if I could come to pick it up then and he said he is sorry, the post office close at 12pm.I believe this whole scenario could have been avoid, the Express service could have saved 3 days and the plants could have lived had the postal service did a diligent job on delivering their package the next day, or if they ran out of staff due to COVID, they could have a better communication with us of what we could do to have our package the next day. We pay for Express service for a reason. We dont want to receive all the dead plants in the box, 3 days later!!!
This place is a joke, the mail lady that is on my route constantly gives packages to the wrong person/ address, and I opened a claim but they have not updated me at all on my claim status . I filed a claim online because I HATE going in there because the lines are so long and it takes FOREVER to be helped. Please try to AVOID having your mail delivered to your home especially if you are in the cut n shoot area 77303 Crockett trace cuz the mail lady on this route ain’t worth a dam. She should’ve been fired a LONG time ago !! My advice: go with a digital mail service such as “travelingmailbox.com” or “u.s. global mail so that way you will for sure get your mail and packages
Whoever is assigned to deliver 1 day express mail in Stewarts forest community needs to be fired. This has been the 3rd or 4th time where I received an automated text from USPS stating that an attempt to deliver has failed because there is no recipient and a slip has been left. That is a blatant lie, my home office is next to the main door and I have a clear view of my front porch and every car that passes through. No attempts to deliver or slips were left at my residence or our locked community mailbox. This delivery person is falsifying records and getting paid by the hour to do so. This inadvertently creates an unnecessary backlog of people attempting to pick up their mail in person at the USPS office at west dallas street, which bogs down work flow and productivity. I genuinely hope that someone within middle or upper management reads this and rectify this incorrect allotment of budget and reconsider hiring someone who will fulfill the job description of a mailman. Had an appt for passports today. Showed up 15 minutes early, waited in line for 45 minutes, only to be told passport appts were canceled. There was a sign that informed us but the sign was at the darn counter. There were two people (looked liked workers/volunteers) in the front just standing there. They could have told us when we walked in. Or even better, put the sign on the front door so I don’t have to wait 45 minutes. Or better yet, don’t send me a text the day before confirming my appt only for it to be canceled when I arrive. My whole family took the day off basically to make this appt. so at least offer us an alternative instead of basically making us get to the back of the line.
My mail carrier clearly cant follow directions cause I just got my daughters birthday pictures and on the package it says DO NOT BEND. but my sorry excuse of a mail carrier bend the hell out of them just to fit in my box. So now my daughters birthday pictures are ruined because they were too damn lazy to follow directions. I honestly want to cuss this carrier out, but that wont fix my issue they need to be held accountable for this.
First of all, the fact that you cannot get ahold of ANYONE is very unprofessional. Second of all, I had a delivery from DHL delivered to my mailbox. I believe the mail person thought it was outgoing and didn’t bother to look at the address and took it. Now I have NO idea where my package is. Unless I’m a victim of theft.UPDATE: I physically went to the post office and was told that because DHL put the package in the mailbox USPS took it and it is now floating around somewhere and supposed to be sent back to the sender. But I was not given any sort of documentation that proves that. For all I know the USPS workers stole my package. This is insane!UPDATE 09/28/2020 - Robert, you’re amazing! I came to check ONE more time to see if my package was here. Robert was so kind and patient and found my package in the back. Thank you again! 🙂
I have been going to this Post Office in Conroe Texas since 1972...I have ALWAYS BEEN TREATED COURTEOUSLY.......I KNOW it gets busy at Christmas Time but instead of seeing it as a lot of time to wait I see it as a NICE TIME TO VISIT my neighbors......Happy Holidays to everyone no matter what they celebrate at this time of year and MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM ME!
Passport done here. Long lines for all services but they got us right on time of our APPT. We had everything ready to go: application done, checks written, photos taken, ID out... and we were done in 10 mins. Our clerk was great and efficient. The other clerks also seemed to be in great spirits and interacting well with the customers.Now the place does need an update. The line setup is not efficient. A 2-hr 6sigma session would solve that!I’ll keep coming here for non-emergency services. If I need special package sent, I’ll still go to FedEx.
Absolutely horrible service from the Conroe Post Master. Will not answer the phone, have been calling for 3 days.Had mail forwarded while on vacation, 2 overseas packages did not get forwarded, even though the tracking went from Out for delivery, to Forwarded to Return to sender. All within the span of 2 hours. I find it hard to believe that the driver tried to deliver the pieces, then tried to forward the pieces and then decided to send it back to the sender, all the while on his delivery route.Their tracking system leaves more questions than answers, there customer service people cant help other than email the local post office. But the local post office is not obligated to read or react to the email in a timely manner.I waited 2 months for these deliveries and now they are being returned to sender.TERRIBLE SERVICE!
They keep opening up my mail, and sometimes cant find my lost packages or leave the mailbox open.And ironically have lost my checks and found them again only when a complaint has been issued. My neighbors as well have said the same thing. They should be ashamed to work for the good city of Conroe Texas.
Ive been to this location a couple of times now and have had extremely pleasant, helpful experiences. I had to order a lock change for our mailbox; Dale was extremely helpful, polite and professional. I received a call a week later that my keys were ready for pick up, which was a full two weeks earlier than Id been told the lock change would take. When I went to pick up the keys, the lady (I didnt get her name, unfortunately) was very polite, professional and quick.I had a delivery notification yesterday for a package Id been expecting; I went to check the mail and it wasnt there. It was after hours by this time, so I just called them about this situation. Lisa answered the call, was very courteous, took my information and after a brief (
You know these people act as if we want to be there and make their lives miserable. Bad enough you have to wait 15+ mins to pick up a package, you would at least expect the person to greet you back when saying hello. Even when leaving I say have a good day and the dude just looks at me. If you dont like your job do something about it instead of being rude and obviously hating life! Trust me I dont wanna be there much more than you for these reasons alone! Get better employees!
The employees that work at this office is the more laziest employees I have ever seen! They move like a sloth! Plus if you call into the office make sure you save their name because when I call to make sure my packages is there she replied yes! Then I go pick it up an hour later they can find it. Lazy!
This review is only for the people behind the scenes. The folks up front work hard and do a great job. However, NO ONE answers the phone. Theres not even an automated answering service to, at the very least, give information. Moving on, my complaint is for the people that deliver the mail. They do not care about what they do. My mail ends up in the wrong hands ALL the time. To top this all off, I ordered a pair of sunglasses from a prescription eye store over 3 months ago. USPS attempted to deliver the package and left a scribbled note with the tracking number. I called to have it redelivered, but nothing ever happened. I spent the entire day at the house waiting for it to arrive, but nothing ever came. I called the automated service to check the status of my package and IT WAS RETURNED. I called the eye store to let them know my dilemma and they waited two weeks and NEVER received the package. They reordered the glasses, and shipped them again. The tracking showed that they attempted to deliver the glasses again, but no one was home. YES, I WAS HOME. No one rang my door bell, no notice was left, NOTHING. Ive tried calling the location 6 times now, and all it does is ring until it times out. I wont even waste time telling the story of how they changed the lock on my mailbox and delivered the keys to the wrong address... (no mail for a month). This location sucks. Never in my life have I experienced such sloppy service from the people you trust to deliver your mail. USPS needs to go away and allow us to use private companies that compete for our business. Funny how monopolies are illegal in this country, unless its government owned....
I have been in Conroe for a few months. For some reason the person continue to place boxes that I am unable to remove from mailbox. Ive left messages with box still remaining in mailbox. I mean really! How stupid can you be and then the place new mail in mailbox. Who does that!🤨 its going on 4 days now! Signed pissed😡😡😡 resident. Poor customer service!
We are in the middle of a pandemic, and Im really trying to support my local post office and the USPS in general, but issues like this make it difficult.My daughter sent me a package. We have a mailroom (open) with lockers. Postal carrier claimed (on the tracking status update) that he/she brought it to my door, no one was home (I was home) and left a redelivery note (no note on the door).Trying to call the Conroe post office leads to a ringing phone that cuts to a busy signal.I was home, am always home and will continue to be home.Ive looked the other way and sighed when incorrect mail is delivered to me, when cards sent to me never arrive and all manner of other things. But this is really the last straw. Come on now. Answer your phones.
Decided to edit because the package was dropped off November 12th and finally arrived. Decided to give a less scathing review, but package sat in pre-shipment for 20 days before being accepted. (As confirmed by eBay seller when asked a week later after original package drop off). A small package dropped off thats less than 5 oz November 12th shouldnt sit in pre shipment for 20 days after paying over $4 shipping charges. If the USPS cant fulfill their end of a deal due to taking 20 days to accept a package (they already had) that they were PAID TO SHIP they should discount the shipping. And still putting the word out for a tee shirt maker to make a tee shirt that says I ordered a DEPOSE DEJOY tee shirt, but the USPS lost it in pre shipment tee shirt. 20 days in pre shipment for an item that a facility received literally 20 days before is still ridiculous.
The staff here are friendly and cheerful. That earns them a star.However, the service provided by this place is abysmal. When I first moved to Conroe, I had to get my mailbox lock changed. No big deal, since they said it would take up to two weeks and they would call me when it was done. Fast forward to 3 weeks later and still no call. My wife goes in and they tell her Oh yeah, here are your keys. Theyve been ready. Oh cool, thanks for the call.And just recently, I was waiting on a package, but they seem to have lost it. I called the day after the delivery date and the staff told me that it was on the wrong route the day before, but she assured me it was now correct and out for delivery. I saw the mailman come into my neighborhood and finish putting mail in all the mailboxes. Then he left, and I still didnt have my package. I went to the post office this morning to figure out where my package was and they still have no idea. The postman is supposed to call me.If I get a call, I will bump this review up to 3 stars. If not, well I guess itll stay at one.
Incompetent to say the least. United States Post Office states they will hold your failed to deliver package for up to 15 days. Unfortunately, my package was shipped back after 7 days. Why? Because multiple different post office employees failed to correctly read the postage date that is so clearly marked at the top of the box. Which is astounding to think about when right after my 45 min waste of time at the post office, I went to the Taco Bell next door and someone who works for minimum wage was able to correctly read and prepare my order.
Rural delivery stinks!If you live in a subdivision that has a cluster mail box and you do not have an alternate delivery address, you best plan on saving vacation days to get your mail. The carrier does not even attempt to deliver and just marks it as no access. I understand that large parcels might be an issue, but a small clothes box? If USPS does not want to deliver beyond the 1/2 mile from the cluster box, then please, at least add one larger lock box to house a bigger package.Having to take off early to stand in line to get a package that could have actually fit, makes no sense and is quite frustrating.Small wonder, USPS is on the brink of bankruptcy...
I usually only go to the post office for some sort of complex shipping situation. I dread it, but it is always a painless process at this post office. These employees are friendly and helpful and try to expedite you through the line from the time you step in the doors.Im not sure why postal workers get stereotyped negatively. We really have a good group of workers.

Ive been trying to get my mail for a week now because I just moved here and they dont have a key for the mail box ready, they said itll take 3 weeks to have it changed so Ill have to get my mail from post office but the lady at the post office said someone didnt see the note and put the mail in the box, so come back in 2 to 3 business days theyll have someone pick up the mail and bring it back but it never happened. I seen the mail car down the road from me and asked if she could let me have the stuff out of the box because Im waiting on some very important papers and she said yes once she gets done putting the rest of the mail in the box she was at shell come give me my stuff. That never happened either. A package was also supposably delivered and left with someone but I dont have anything at my house so they either kept it or didnt deliver it. Either way this is the worse post office Ive ever had and wouldnt recommend them to anyone.
Never had a worse USPS.. Just got my diploma in the mail which came in a large cardboard protective mailer, had HUGE Do Not Bend logos on it and guess what? Crammed in box, didnt bother bringing it to my door. My wifes passport was delivered a year or so ago to my neighbors (good thing we know them well). My brothers shoes were delivered somewhere else and he never got them. The person who delivers the mail is always out of uniform and sometimes in their personal car. Something needs to change.
Horrible customer service! Called about a package that was showing received by the Conroe post office days ago. Tracking says no access multiple times. Someone has been home watching for the mail truck for days and no attempt on delivery has been made. On Saturday I even saw the driver and inquired about packages and she said she had no packages for me. There is no snow drifts or any adverse condition what so ever that would make my package undeliverable! There has been no attempts on this delivery! So, I called today and spoke to a representative that was going to place me on a brief hold and check to see if they could get someone out to deliver my package. That brief hold turned into 3 hours and 29 minutes. I got tired of holding and hung up. Still waiting for my package!
I just tried to call the USPS in Conroe, TX to discuss a problem that I am having with the mail carrier delivering mail to my box which belongs to other neighbors. I have emailed them but since they are not very prompt at responding, I decided to call them. I was informed by their recording that the wait time is 41 minutes! Are they insane? Who in the world has time to hold for 41 minutes waiting for a USPS employee to come to the phone to care of a call?Our tax dollars at work?, No, I do not think so!!!!!!!!!!!
They sent me an email, saying my package was delivered but it wasnt, confused me so much, believing my package was misplaced and went a couple of times in person to the post office at the pick up line and no one helped me except Laura. She deserves a 5 star, the other employees not so much. She was patient with me, until they finally found the package and delivered it 6 days later. Thank you Laura!
USPS constantly delivers my mail to the wrong place! I can’t even count how many times. Today is just another day that Amazon shows my packages delivered and they are NOT at my home (and I have cameras so I know it’s not being stolen).On top of this, I thought they delivered my Apple Watch to the wrong house just last week, which someone SIGNED FOR. It turned out, that since it was guaranteed delivery by 8pm and they were LATE, the postal worker SIGNED FOR MY PACKAGE to show it delivered on time and kept the package! My husband retrieved it from the post office the following day after going into to office and raising hell over it where it mysteriously was still in their custody despite being signed for as delivered.Anyway. So since they never answer their phones, their voicemails are full, and I feel like there’s nothing else I can do to complain, I will resort to posting a 1 star review every time they deliver my mail somewhere else and I don’t receive my packages (because people extremely rarely- and only when it’s something invaluable such as body soap - ever bring my packages back when delivered to the wrong house. After all, it’s NOT THEIR JOB!!).
Packages are constantly being lost and mail is being mixed up in my neighborhood. We have a facebook page and the majority of its contents is people trying to locate their mail or packages. No one answers the phone either. When I went into the store I was told to call in and file a formal complaint (which is always 1-2 hour wait) because apparently no one gets in trouble at that office.On another note, I have a business PO Box and when I go to pick up mail the blonde lady, Laura, is always so sweet and helpful. SHE gets 5 stars....
I am happy to say I have never had a bad experience with any of the employees at this location. They have all been friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be the long lines but that is typical of most post offices. Before Rosalyn became our regular postal carrier, we would often get the wrong mail delivered to us, etc. However, Rosalyn goes above and beyond to make sure everyone in the neighborhood gets their packages and mail on time. Prior to her it was often a mess!
This post office has the worst carriers!!! The number of times they have mis-delivered mail is crazy! I receive text notifications with tracking information. Today I received notification of a package delivered to the parcel locker. Checked my box, no locker key. Not the first time this has happened. Theyve even gone so far to leave notices that they were unable to deliver certified mail because nobody was home. Heck, I telecommute and was sitting at my desk in the front window when the carrier drove by and the text popped of non-delivery. Ive lived here three years, and have at least one mis-delivered mail every month!!
UPS was suppose to deliver my package but on my tracking part it said issues with delivery that my local post office tried to but left a delivery notice with instructions. Which they didn’t leave me NO NOTICE in my mailbox!!! Then I sent someone with my Drivers license to pick up my package because I work 8-5 and they couldn’t give it to that person. I tried calling in the morning but the wait time is like over an hour!! This is ridiculous poor service!!
I had a very important package arriving at this post office. I decided to go pick it up directly instead of having them deliver it. The lady said it was going to cost me $10.95 for her to go look for the package in the back room. I have done this many times and I have never been charged before. Next time Im using UPS. Dont waste your time with these people.
Horrible horrible service. Our mailman comes in, opens all the boxes wide open, anyone can go meanwhile get anyones mail, this is so unsafe and such a violation of ones privacy. Also, he keeps dropping my packages off at the leasing office and I have to go wait in line for leasing agent to become available to check out my packages. All those commercials about USPS caring for their clients and their delivery to your door services is a BS. I approached mailman and asked to why doesnt he deliver my packages to my door and he said he DOESNT HAVE TO, that his manager told him so. So, they are in mail delivery business but dont have to deliver mail, unheard of, i guess if we all follow the same logic none of us have to do our jobs just show to work and thats all, life is good. So then i drove to the post office to see his manages to get some sort of resolution, there were couple of ladies in line with the same exact issue i was there for. I had to wait in two lines, then once i reached a post office worker she told me to wait for manager, waited another about 30 mins and no one came out. I asked her again to please let me speak with manager to what she told me that he had left. I asked for their corporate number and while still in line we the upset clients got talking and others heard our displeasure with their services so now all of the sudden manager is there and he took me in. He was very rude and careless towards my issue, told me that there are too many apartments and they dont have time to deliver mail. So, logical thinking, if there are one too many clients, then you are collecting one too many shipping fees, making way more money but have one person service 1000 units? Maybe its time for USPS to hire some people and actually deliver on their duties. This is unheard of, i pay to receive my package at my door, NOT AT THE LEASING OFFICE A FOOTBALL FIELD AWAY AND CERTAINLY NOT AT THE POST OFFICE A TOWN AWAY. JUST HORRENDOUS.Look at the rating i guess, 1.6 stars, i bet that even is from the manager and mailman waiting themselves
At least twice Ive had packages arrive after the time of arrival I was told to expect it. My last package was in possession of UPS, and I dont even know why UPS would give it to the post office! Service is awful and slow. Good thing I havent paid for extra fast shipping because Im pretty sure itd be a waste of money. Someone who knows what theyre doing needs to come in and take charge.
We had a package delivered to us by UPS into our mailbox one evening, and removed from our mailbox by USPS the next morning! Our flag was not up for pickup, and it has since not been redelivered. Trying to contact USPS local location and/or general customer service number all day. Nobody answers at either and not even an option for a call back with the local office. Waited on hold for over an hour with general customer service then was hung up on!
I would give a 0 if there was an option. We moved recently and did a mail forwarding 1 month prior to our move. Since the move were have received 3 packages and 2 individual pieces of mail. 5 packages are “somewhere” as well as the rest of our mail. The lady at this location laughed when ask when I would receive the packages - saying she had no way of know when or even if we would receive them. So USPS has no idea where they are, the sellers didn’t get them back and the people who bought my house have not received them. This operation is beyond inefficient, they are rude and frankly don’t seem to have any idea or care of doing their job. Like I said if there was a 0 or and negative number I would’ve given that.
Yet again they have lost another package. Tracking shows it was delivered on Sunday at 2:30 pm. Really? I saw the truck, on the other side of the street, by the time I got outside they were gone. Tracking said it was placed in the mailbox, BS. Try calling them, with the tracking number, either they dont answer or when they do, its up to me to do the foot work and look for it. Sure wish I could get a comfy Government job and screw the public over until I receive a nice retirement.
Checked on the status of my package went out for delivery today the status shown was delivery exception animal interference. This is odd since I live in an apartment complex with a stand alone building up front by the leasing office just for our mail. Was there a pack of wolves hanging out there that we werent made aware of? I hope you guys arent following in UPSs footsteps with the fake delivery attempts they love so much.
I went into the conroe post office about 3 weeks ago. I usually dread going to the post office . im new to conroe so its now my local office. The employees were all cheerful even though they were busy. They were fast and efficient.. Erica was the person who helped me and she literally brightened my day.
This is the second Christmas they have lost a package. They are rude and offer no solutions. Dont bother calling because no one will ever answer. Additionally, I had to go out of town for business unexpectedly so I didnt ask for a stop to my mail. I was only gone for 5 days. When I got home and went to get my mail there was a notice that I needed to go to the post office to collect my mail. Waited an hour to have them tell me that the carrier hadnt brought my mail to the post office so they didnt have anything to give me. The staff was very rude. I have yet to have a positive experience here.
Absolute crap! Our community box has been broken for over a month now. The people inside the post office are clueless as to when it will be fixed. When I asked, they were rude and told me that driving to the post office isnt too bad.Completely disregarding the fact that Ive got a life outside their little box. The lines inside take MORE THAN 45 minutes to get anything done. And I was the 2nd in line. The person before me waited longer before they even acknowledged him.(This is the package pick up line mind you)Ive called, sent emails and tried EVERYTHING to get resolve on this. I get rudeness and bitter old bitties.Unfortunately, theres nothing anyone can do about it. They get paid either way so why should they waste time being nice????
The people hire the absolute worst people on the planet to deliver our mail. Our mailman doesnt run everyday, only when he feels like it and most of the time we dont get mail until almost 8 pm daily. This mail route isnt that big and when there is substitutes we have no issues. I think this guy handles his own business or sits at the bar all day, and delivers our mail before he heads back home. We have called to complain several times, but all they tell us is that he is taking lots of medications and there is nothing they can do with him. Hell anywhere else he wouldve been fired, but gotta love a government funded job, that you actually get paid not to work.
Deserves negative stars. The young guy who works the package pick up window is terribly rude, and is more concerned with flirting with the workers in the back rather than finding your package and getting it out to you. And just half an hour ago, I tried to pickup a package. Noone was at the counter. The other ladies rang the bell and called for someone to come help. Noone came, and they, of course, didnt offer help either. Not my job kind of attitude. Myself and 2 others waited over 20 minutes for someone to come help. I ended up leaving with nothing, as I had to pickup my son. Inexcusable. Ridiculous. The phrase going postal doesnt describe postal workers losing it. It describes patrons who have to deal with Conroe Post Office!
I live out of state and was just trying to mail a box to Conroe, I realized I had the wrong box number. I have called Conroe Post Office like 10 times, been on hold with the toll free number for over an hour. Still havent corrected the problem. I will never ship a package to United Stats Postal Service again.
If I could give a minus stars I would. This is worst post office I ever had to deal with. Complained about my postman no less than 5 times for opening my packages, stealing, not picking up outgoing mail, delivering to wrong addresses amongst other things. This office does not care about its customers, they are rude, discourteous and very unhelpful. Avoid using them as much as possible and any complaints you give them are brushed under the table......Today 11/23. Another package stolen by Mr sticky fingers mailman who put delivered yet we never had item, (this makes #4) this office refuses to admit fault and said it was delivered.Contacting local police over theft and going to try and charge mailman as hes the only person I can see taking it.This office is a damn jokeAVOID AT ALL COSTS
Today, I received mail for 3 different houses. Mine and two others. My package was left in a locked parcel bay in the bank of mailboxes. Key didnt work, because (I think) a screw fell out of the lock. Found the screw on the ground. I am consistently receiving my mail delivered by my neighbors, but an expensive journal I subscribe to has been misdelivered or non-delivered TWICE in a row now. They are now having to ship me a third copy. This is unacceptable. If I did my job this poorly, Id have been fired ages ago. Unacceptable, shockingly bad.
Every time I go into this post office the line moves quickly and the people are so nice. They go above and beyond for their customers. Today and the last time I went in for a passport and passport complications I had the pleasure of working with Robert, he is a true asset to this location!
We have had nothing but problems from our mail carrier. Mail is delivered to us that is not ours and our mail is delivered to a house 1 street over from us. We have had several hundred dollars worth of packages RUINED because the mail carrier REFUSES to get out of their vehicle to put the packages on either our porch or under our car port. We have called and complained and have asked for our money to be refunded but so far the only thing that has happened is that we received a sticker stating we have to pick up all our packages from the nearest post office which is 30 minutes away. Postal driver is saying that there is dog interference. funny thing is, UPS, and FED EX have no issues whatsoever delivering to our house. We have told the post office that my in laws live next door to us and that all packages can be delivered to their home, but they refuse. to make matters worse, my husband and I both work and are unable to get to the post office during their abbreviated hours. WHAT ARE MY TAX DOLLARS PAYING FOR!!!!!
Hands down the most pitiful excuse for mail service I’ve ever experienced. I manage an rv resort and every day they deliver mail that isn’t even our address. Today our mail carrier brought me three envelopes and said he would be back later with more. I waited until 8:00 PM and he never came back. I have over a hundred residents waiting on mail and he just decided not to come back. I’m beyond livid. This is the worst mail service I’ve ever seen and I’ve lived all over the country. The usps should be ashamed.
As others have posted....I would give this location ZERO stars if possible. I have never been treated so rudely and felt such open hostility from the attendants to the point of feeling unsafe. Absolutely incredible! Alternatively, The Woodlands attendants have always been super friendly and helpful...wish they were my home post office.
Not even 1 star! Total crap! Lucky if you get your mail. The list is long. Most incompent running PO anywhere... that includes overseas!They make mistakes, lose packages, give you the run around, promise to fix it, then turn around & change mind, then wont own up to anything or refuse to fix their mistakes.They tried to deliver a package, left a notice to pick up at the post office. We go & they claim they can not find it. Go again, now they claim it was delivered & sign for. We have had the run around for 4.5 months. I have been implied I was lying, we have been pushed aside. Told by the delivery driver supervisor the delivery guy would be reimbursing, then told by the Post Master that the PM would personally go retrieve it, the told by the PM that we would have a refund. Now, suddenly a new Post Master, no refund and a claim they can now trace it to Chicago, but of course Dec it was mis delivered & signed for suddenly it reappears Jan 2nd in Chicago & now is off the face of the earth. Claiming it was being sent back to the original sender. The sender has never recieved the package back.They will not take the responsiblity for their mistake instead have implied we are to blame, lying etc... depending on what day we have gone in or who ever we talk to. We have been pushed aside, forgotten about & treated unfairly.The worse is this is not f.up that has been done. The delivery driver is noturious for delay delivery, losing mail & being down right rude. It took 2 months for a delivery. I have popped into my apartment office & handed packages that had been sitting up there & I never got a delivery/drop off notice in my mail box or on door. I have gotten a notice for a package on one day, yet the package had been sitting in the apartment office for 2 weeks. The delivery driver even tried to get me to sign for a package that was not mine ,then got mad when I refused, even when I told him it was not me & pointed it out. Apartment was wrong too.More than anything these 4.5months & the run around for the missing package is the worst.Expect any issues to be treated as if you are in the wrong.Must be nice to have a job where you can totally incompetent and not worry it.
The day the US Postal service closes it doors I am going to be the happiest man! UPS and Fed Ex never have theses types of issues on a continual basis!! When packages are marked out for delivery, and it doesnt even show up that day, sometimes several days later! Years of dealing with several post offices in many cities, and they all seem to operate the same way, inefficient, waste of time, rude staff, and no accountability because they are federal workers! Its why I try and pay more for the UPS and FedEx services, if they screw up it gets fixed!
Came in a 9am on Saturday to pick up a package which for some reason was not left in my box. 9 people in front of me to pick up mail. One person helping us. Now 7 people in front of me 30 minutes later. 2 people helping the drop off line and they have no line. They should at least float to pick up instead of just looking at us.
So sick of the USPS. Had a package coming Certified Mail. Apparently, we were not at home.......... I say Apparently, because our lazy good, for nothing mail carrier didnt even bother to leave a notice at our door. So, when we called to find out where to pick the package up - took 30 minutes on the phone to TRY to figure out where the package might be. They told us they would redeliver. Again, we were not home and Again - no delivery notification. Not sure how we are going to get our package now.....
Conroe post office does not deliver the packages because at the post office the mail man either steel it or some one else at the post office does that . It happened to me two times . I went to post office talk to supervisor , after many visits they gave me the package that was opened and one of the dress was missing . The package was cut opened on the top . Second time my sister ordered some make up and we received the tracking number from the manufacturer , went to post office spoke with supervisor , called usps waited for hours on phone nothing worked . Went back yesterday to Dallas street the woman told me it came and showed its here but dont show nothing after that . Call the people and have them send you another one . It is irritating , time Wasting and make me not to use usps again never again . The supervisor took my number and never gave a damn about calling me back .
One star because I cant submit no stars. Frequently I get incorrect mail deliveries to my house. Got a delivery confirmation for package I had ordered, except, it wasnt delivered to me. I did get them on the phone after multiple tries but was put on hold and no one ever came back. There were no solutions from the individual mail carrier either because they change their delivery routes so frequently that he was not on my route the day of the incident. Mark that Christmas gift off the list.
If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. Absolutely rude and discourteous staff. In a line of 3 people, one staff member forced 2 of the people to wait in line for 30mins before announcing that passports were by appointment only when there were no other people in line who had appointments and refused to see either of the other groups even though there was no one in line besides the 2 people who came in as walk-ins. Then when asked how to set up an appointment the staff member walked away without answering. Another staff member had to tell both groups how to set up an appointment. Ive never seen someone so rude! Go to any other post office but this one!
ABSOLUTELY REDICILOUS!!!!!!!!! I have been on the phone ON HOLD FOR OVER AN HOUR!!!!! I refuse to have up because I called about 30 times yesterday and couldn’t get through. I had to take an extended lunch break and drive from the woodlands to ask about my package that was said to be delivered on Wednesday, it is now Friday and no one seems to know where my package is or what happened. Every time I speak with someone they say they will be in touch. Yesterday I had to call the supervisor of that store directly and still haven’t gotten any answers.Not to mention, I’ve gotten calls from creditors that I have taken a lon from (for tools for work) saying that they have gotten mail addressed to me RETURNED as “undeliverable to the address”. Worst postal service I’ve ever seen.
Complete and total incompetence. Lied about where the package was located. The tracking number had incorrect information. The poor man that lives in Conroe, waiting for this shipment, now has to pay for a second delivery because USPS shipped back to us the sender. The post office in Conroe thought it was an abandoned house and decided not to deliver. Im sure this person gets letters/mail everyday. Abandoned? I will file a report with the Postmaster General and request an investigation. If the Google feedback for this location, is any indication of the competency of this location, the Postmaster needs to look into this branch right away.
I understand its the holidays, but this is unacceptable. Ive been trying for a week to get a package and to sort out a mailing situation (i moved about a month ago, and no matter how many times i beg them to keep my mail on hold until the change of address kicks in, they continue to deliver to my old address). My tracking number says the package is at my old address, okay, sure. I go to my old address only to find out, unsurpriaingly, its nowhere to be found. post office refuses to take any sort of blame.In short, I payed $30 to add on to my holiday stress and to realize how incompetent this post office is.
I am a frequent customer of the Conroe USPS facility and never had a problem with their customer services. All the clerks are very polite and courteous and efficient at their job. Some times they get inundated with customers at a time. Keep up the good work everyone!
Applied for my mailbox key in the office, and one month later they said they lost my application. Redid again and promised to put me on top of the list, guess what, two weeks passed still hasn’t gotten any keys. Has gone to office five times, and each time the staff gave me different answers including the manager. Seems they don’t care if the job will get done or not. All they do is to send you home and let you wait. “The key man only works Tuesday and Friday” “ the key man only works Thursday “... “it takes two to four weeks” and when you come one month later, they say “oh it usually takes four to six weeks...” I would give zero star if possible.
If I could give negative 500 stars I would!! I am so tired of not getting our own mail, we get everyone elses but our own. When we get our own it is damaged, ripped, or bent even when they say do not bend on packages/mail pieces. They throw packages in the drive, they say packages are delivered when they are not, yet you try to call (ive tried calling every 10-15 minutes since 8am) and no answer, just busy tone. The package in pictures below, was listed as delivered at door, I think it is far from the door, if it would have rained, what was inside would have been ruined. The one time I did go in and speak to someone, was told to get the informed delivery online, it doesnt help besides show me the mail I am supposed to get that I am not, good luck reporting the mail you didnt get, doesnt help!
Over the years, we have continually receive the wrong mail. We have complained but to no avail. Honestly, I no longer want to receive any important mail because the carrier will lose it or deliver it to the wrong address. How do these employees keep their jobs? Tried calling the PO OFFICE but they don’t answer the phone. Very frustrating.
I have been on hold for over 45 minutes. That is ridiculous. I signed for my package and when I walked outside she took off. She didnt even have it in her. Her name is Gaby and she drives like a maniac on our road. We have asked her numerous times to slow down and she just ignores us. This is so not.right when you are waiting on your.mail and she just drives away. Terrible customer service. I am so disappointed.
Amazingly fast. Its the holidays and they got everyone out expeditiously. The people behind me even spoke about how fast they were going. The people behind the counter were all pleasant just hearing their conversations. I was going in for a business issue rather than something personal but everyone sounded helpful they were nice and I got out in about 10 minutes DURING THE HOLIDAYS.Not sure what the fuss is about, about all the other reviews but I suppose you only do a review if it was terrible or fanatastic, and they were fantastic. Great location. Deserve better ratings.
The carrier is always mis-delivering mail. My sons birthday gift was put in the wrong mailbox, luckily the owner of the box brought it to my house. My drivers licence never got delivered. The second one was placed in the wrong box and returned to the post office. I am always receiving someone elses mail.
One of the worst post offices I have encountered, where to start .... well to start we only get out mail about 2 days of the week when usually we get mail everyday and I busted them on not sending mail with a certified letter that stayed in the post office for a week and a half till I came up there asking for it and after an hour of them looking in the back they found it. The postman left the community mailbox open with his key in it and mail was stolen , our neighborhood has had several carriers fired as they do not realize many people have cameras on their houses. I can go on and on about things they have done . Avoid them if you can or get a po box elsewhere .
Yes, they have had the same employees for a long time. But at least they try and do their job. But they do get backed up. Why dont you apply for their position if you think you can do a better job. Have you walked in their shoes? Have you done their job. If no than stop your belly aching. These people do need a big facility and more employees. But see I dont see anyone applying for the position, to help these people out.
Dont ever mail anything here, if you can help it. The customer service is nonexistent, and I have only once received a message after running after the mail delivery person, who had stopped to write a pink slip to put in my mailbox. Awful tracking service, and theres always long lines at the post office and they have terrible, inconvenient hours. What kind of place closes at 5:00 on weekdays?! They lose packages all the time.If you use this place, use it at your own risk.
The worst office .We lived in 5 different areas -including rural -and this mail delivery is the worst by far. We are not getting any mail. Person who delivers it- best case scenario- puts it in our next door neighbor’s box who then bring it to us. Worst case- we never get it at all. Who do they hire??? Can these people even read???
I feel like it is time to do away with the United States Post Office. I would say our USPS is the worst post office but in reality Ive been researching the USPS and all of them, everywhere across America are awful. Id rather keep my tax money that is being used to prop up this multitude of completely incompetent and uncaring workers and use it to pay FedEx and UPS to deliver my packages on time, to the correct address, with a good attitude and attention to customer service. Conroe post office shame on you all for allowing and participating in the decline of an American institution. You all are terrible workers, taking advantage of the fact that you get a guaranteed paycheck from taxpayers.
Im really starting to feel like their our thieves working there. Mailed something to my mom about two weeks ago. She have yet to receive it. The first time I mailed something, it never made it to the mailing destination. Thankfully I had insurance. But this is ridiculous. Very disappointed .
Recently used Priority Mail Express out of state to send to my home,the carrier scanned the package before the guaranteed time and didnt get a signature that was paid for or deliver it just let it sit for over an hour and then claimed they were running behind,this is a guaranteed service which they dont seem to understand.Have had more problems with mail delivery to my home on multiple occasions packages that didnt show up, received someone elses mail I assume they have gotten ours.
Sent a priority mail envelope on Tues Feb 6, from 33542 to Holiday Inn in Shenandoah,Tx. Expected delivery was Thursday, Feb 8. Checked status on Friday evening after husband said it was not delivered. Online tracking indicated that action was required. Receptacle blocked. Request redelivery. I requested redelivery. The system indicated that the item would be redelivered on Feb 10. The item was not redelivered. I called the post office in Conroe Texas on Monday morning. After giving the information to two different people and waiting over 12 minutes on hold, someone came on that line to assist me. She identified herself as the mail carrier and repeatedly insisted that she delivered the item on Thursday or Friday. I explained that the mail contained heart medication for my husband and that he needed it today. His trip was extended and I was sending additional medication. She insisted that I check with the hotel because their mailbox was always blocked by vehicles. She stated that she had delivered a box containing TWO WEEKS worth of mail on Thursday or Friday. She was certain it was at the hotel. I asked her why the USPS tracking system didn’t indicate that it was delivered. She said she didn’t know. I requested to speak to the Postmaster. She said his name was Ron and went to get him. After a few more minutes she came back on the line and had magically located the missing mail that she insisted had been delivered the week before. I asked if she could guarantee that it would be delivered to the hotel today and her reply was ‘No, not if the mailbox was blocked’ At that point I requested that the mail be held at the Conroe Post Office for customer pickup. My husband left the job site and drove into Conroe to pick it up.I don’t know what is going on here, but there is a definite lack of customer service on part of this mail carrier. She started to bring up her daily frustrations related to the duties required to perform her job. If she doesn’t want to do that job, then she should find a different one .
Worst service you could possibly EVER get. This location should be permanently closed down and all employees, including supervisors and management should be terminated. Its not like they do their jobs anyway. You cant get anyone to answer then phone. If they do answer, they immediately hang up. The postal carriers deliver your mail to the wrong mail box but they do deliver someone elses mail to yours, I guess thats a positive (not really). So, over all, poor service, poor attitudes, simply put.
Doesnt even deserve 1 star. There should be a zero stars option. Anyway, first our mail was being sent to our neighbor and we were getting our neighbors mail. I called and actually got through to someone and told them what was going on. He assured me the problem would be handled. Now, we arent getting any mail and I cant get anyone to answer the damn phone. Totally unacceptable and ridiculous.
Get realy for a class action lawsuit!!! The worst post office i have ever seen. Cant deliver the mail or packages to the right place or loose them. Employees(inculding managers) start yelling and belittling customers for no reason when customers never even raised their voice. Half the time the employees are goffing off in the back when the line is literally out the door. Time to clean house and start over. Not the first time I have dealt with things like this and stood in line and witnessed it happen to several other customers this morning. Only reason I gave a 1 star is cause I cant give a ZERO star
Not bad at all! Im from Houston and I have to go to the post office about twice a week, most of the time I go to the closest one to me, today I was here in Conroe and by fast this is the best service I had in a post office, there was a line of people, but it moved extremely fast because they had 4 people in the front, I usually have to wait 10-15min to get to the front of the line, this people is always smiling an they do a great service. definitely coming back!
We live in Imperial Oaks off Camden. The post office personnel use their own cars and a different person every day. We do not receive mail for days get other peoples mail. This is unacceptable. We are missing important mail. With all the bad reviews I do not expect anything to change but will report it as high as high as I can.
Our carrier just ignores pickup requests, and puts their form in my mailbox, so you KNOW they see it. I am a small business and I just cant operate this way. My customers deserve to have their oitems when requested. Sometimes if you can get a hold of someone at the post office and they answer the phone, they resend a driver but by that poinht I have missed a day. REALLY unprofessional of the carrier.
This post office is horrible and very unorganized. Stood in line 45 min to simply pick up a package while the longer line moved as it had several people working the mail line moving fast. One person working the pick up line while I watched tons of people that came in after me get in and go out. HORRIBLE
I just received the third package in less than two weeks delivered to my mailbox by mistake. Its a neighborhood mailbox so I cant put the packages back in the outgoing mail slot. Ive tried calling the Conroe post office a number of times and all I get is a message saying my call cant be received at this time. What am I supposed to do with these packages?
I just gotta say VICKI (delivers in Glen eagles) is an awesome mail lady!! EBay has jacked my address up a few times and yet she always gets me my packages !!! Shes always got a smile on her face when I check my box and shes out there!! I always know when shes off because no one is as accurate and as fast as she is!! Thank u maam for your service
If I could give 0 stars, I would. The line stays out the door and the employees do not want to do their job. Elderly people standing in line for well over an hour is ridiculous when it’s 90 degrees in this building. With the amount of people they have going in and out, they need more than one worker for each line. 0 stars.
Huh. Ive read aLOT of the reviews & my experience since 1st moving here definitely echos most of the complaints. Someone DID answer the phone tho ONCE- out of the 8- Ive called at various times, otherwise it simply rings... I do get neighbors mail, pkgs & totally random addressees mail from time to time... For the past 3yrs I continue to receive the former owners Verizon bill every month like clockwork regardless of how many times Ive advised the PO (& Verizon). So I continue to honor my duty of writing RTS & sending it back lest I become a felon by either throwing it away or opening it up to give Verizon the personal information they seek. Ive now come to rely on its dependability really... Yes, contradicting information when tracking pkgs has been an issue- showing a pkg being delivered when it clearly hadnt. Ive only had 1 pkg MIA to this day & 1 completely damaged- Dec 2016. What gets me though? Civilian attire on duty. Shall I repeat that? Never in all my tax paying years have I been privy to postal workers on the job in cut-off shorts, sweatpants, tank tops or jerseys- in regular clothes- pretty consistently at that. It blows my mind. Nor have I seen a postal worker take out their... bad day perhaps... ON the mail? Or when they drop it on the ground to angrily stuff it in the boxes or become exasperated & throw them with no rhyme or reason into the back of the truck & screech away. And at times, rolling up to the mailboxes in an unmarked vehicle. Had the mail been kidnapped & taken hostage? The workers on site tho, at the desk, have always been nice & always professional. I will take them over the unbearably rude workers with a super ego & God complex at Panther Creek over on Gosling ANY day of the week.
I never get my packages, shows they were delivered , or in one case, undeliverable which is weird bc Im in an apartment. The mail service in Conroe is horrible. Ive seen trucks parked at the shell station going through all the mail and putting it in the trunk of a Nissan. Looked very shady. Office said theyd look into it, but it keeps happening.
This post office is a good example of why. The US postal service should be shutdown. They steal any thing of value that is mailed to you. And tell you the package was sent back. But they forgot to scan it return to sender. So they can not tell when and where it was send. But its no longer at the post officer
Constant Misdelivery of mail. Not sure what the issue is but when I moved to Conroe I started to experience the worst run Post Office of anywhere I have lived in the United States. I try to only have packages shipped by UPS or Fed Ex as I know this is a truly mismanaged leg of the postal system.
For the whole summer one streets mail for just about every house has been put in our mailbox- very rarely have we received our own mail! Many times I have dropped neighbors mail back in outgoing slot after writing wrong box - this hasnt seemed to help! I recently took it upon myself to just hand deliver everyones mail door to door with a message written that it had been delivered to us!! We recently had a few individuals bring us ours!!! I have made numerous calls to the postal center and trips to formally complain!! Ive been told that tempts are running our route so they dont know who to hold responsible!!!?!?!? Maybe they should research scheduling? I have had four expensive packages be tracked to the post office and no further.....hmmm!!
I would like to know what you have been doing with my mail all month. I filled out the purple vacant form on the 1st when we moved in. Now I have a green vacant notice in my mailbox and not a single piece of mail has been delivered. It has been filled out and placed back in my mailbox. Dont make my disabled butt have to come down there for yall to do your job.
Worst experience ever.. avoid going there or dealing with them.They can’t even answer their phone.. called over 10 times the last two days. They “lost” my package that was suppose to be here 5 days ago.. supposedly they tried to deliver it but couldn’t access the location LOL.Now no one knows where it’s at.. The employees here intentionally block the parcel drop slot. You can look through the letter slot and see it. This is a 24hr post office but never has all the services offered. Lets go Conroe Postmaster General how about stepping up and doing your job.This has to be the worst post office within 50 miles but convienient to my work and its the closest SO CALLED 24 hr POST OFFICE.I am sure the post office doesnt care because it is government run....but I had to say my piece...Cheers
The absolute WORSE post office. I just moved to Conroe and had to put my mail on hold while i waited for them to rekey my mailbox. 2 weeks went by and I still didnt have my key so I went up there. (they wouldnt answer the phone) They said I never filled out a paper to rekey my mailbox or to hold my mail.. I paid them $20 to rekey and filed out papers for both. Luckily they believed me so I didnt have to pay again, BUT... I had to go up there and fill out the sheet THREE different times before I got a new key. Then I had to take off my mail from being held TWICE because you know, I never filled out a paper to release it.. and now, 2 months into living here I had two packages delivered from USPS. one on saturday and one on monday. tracking for one says it was delivered in/at mailbox (not there) second one says delivered to person at 2:57 (I was home and no one stopped by to deliver package) so I went back up there and they said they are not sure maybe it is in the box under my mailbox, that I have to call and see tomorrow since the mailman is on route.
The postman delivery my package in the wrong mail box. This is the seven time that the same thing happens, the post office dont replace my articles or money. I LOSS MORE OF $600 DOLLAR for they irresponsibility. Supposedly the Postman has an order to leave my packages at my door, but they still leave them at the neighbors doors!🙄 Who will give me my money back??
Worst post office. They put on tracking that packages are delivered when they are not. ALL THE TIME. Liars and frauds. Someone at this P.O. has to be stealing packages or just lazy and not delivering on time.WORST POST OFFICE EVER. Dont even get me started on the phones. Non existent. AWFUL. TERRIBLE. ZERO STARS
USPS Conroe location, ideal place to receive mail, buy stamps and send packages. They provide an automated parcel service in the lobby, which is helpful during non-business hours. During the day, especially in the afternoon hours the wait is ridiculous. And the parking lot is less than ideal for a city the size of Conroe. Just be prepared to wait, if you go later in the day.
I have lived here for 20 years and this post office site has always treated me right. I have never had any person rude to me. I go back to this post office month after month and keep waiting for a person who is rude to me, but they are not. I love my Post office. I am sorry if others are having problems, but Conroe is good. Theres always a long line, and the self-service kiosk box is usually locked and full (so even if you use the self-service kiosk, you still have to enter the crowded queue to mail your package). Usually theres a stack of boxes on the counter to drop a package with postage already on it. Its not secure, as it would be in the box in the lobby, but you dont have to wait in line.
Ive been a customer of this facility for a very long time and the reason I give it to Star is because the automated service never gives a representative its costly stuck on the automated service not everybody wants to talk to automated Services they want to actually talk to a human being its very sad that nobody can answer the phone and you cant never talk to anybody you have to talk to a record it automated person that never gets the answers that you need then if you dont answer they hang up on you which is very rude and thats about all I have to say for this establishment of this business.
Awful. Have a bank of mailboxes on our street and often get the key to open the larger package box. Several times the key doesnt work on any of them. This time we got a key that opened an empty box, I assume our package is in someone elses box or house. Oh and if you call the office, it rings forever. Sometimes someone picks up and hangs up.***Edit a year later and still having the same issues.***Edit...two months later, same issue. Key was left in our mailbox for one of the package cluster boxes, and there was already a key dangling in the lock and no package was in that box! The key we were left doesnt fit any of the other boxes either. And...theres a broken key in one of the locks lol. This is the 21st century right? This is how we get mail? Yet another package missing.
VERRRY RUDE clerk at the counter refuse to discuss mailing options . Gives you one price then the price changes when you get back to the counter. Person at counter does not know how to do her job. I live in the 77301 area. Im a veteran, meds are sent to my house. On April 1 meds were ordered, its now April 24 and no meds. I called the VA, they mailed meds on April 8. Called Conroe post office, no answer. Went to Conroe post office and they couldnt give an answer as to why the mail lady didnt deliver to right address. Their excuse is each block has the same house numbers just different street names. PATHETIC EXCUSE!!! How about the mail person GET OFF YOUR CELL PHONE EAR PIECE AND PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR JOB!!I have had to reorder my meds and STILL have not gotten them!This is unacceptable and I will go to the Post Master General and even higher.I have never seen such LAZINESS, UNPROFESSIONAL, INCOMPETENT, DISRESPECTFUL and PATHETIC people in my life! If I could give them zero stars, I would. I had a package from Massachusetts that was supposed to be shipped to Bryan, TX. The zip code got mixed up and was sent somewhere in Conroe, TX. I tried to contact the Conroe Post Office all day and no one answers. I called corporate to request that the Conroe office contact me and put my package on hold for me to pick up. No one called. Drove all the way from college station to conroe and as soon as I got to speak to someone the lady I spoke to name Lee was being RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL to me. Not helpful at all! Avoid this place if you can. No one deserves such disrespect before Christmas.
I have sent a package to deliver at a municipal office building since the 28th of July. once they tried to deliver at 6:15 P.M. since its a public office no one was there to accept.have requested from my local post office to tell them to try and deliver between 9 A.M. and 4 P.M. and no one has done it as of yet have been trying to call the office for the past hour and no one seems to be there.my project is getting behind because of this matter. can someone do something about this? will never use USPS to send a package again in my life.
When calling the 800 number you can’t get a person. When calling the Conroe office I’ve tried multiple times. The automated system states “please stay on the line while you are being transferred to the operator.” Then the line begins ringing. It rings for a long time. Then it goes to a fast busy signal.
OMG STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, THEY LOST 2 OF MY PACKAGES WORTH OVER $1200 I WENT THERE TO COMPLAIN AND THEY GAVE ME THE RUN AROUND AND TOLD ME TO CALL THEIR 1800 NUMBER, NO ONES ANSWERS THE 800 NUMBER SO YOU ARE SCREWED. YOU SHOULD USE A DIFFERENT MAILING SOURCE LIKE UPS.I just recently purchased some expensive items on eBay and the tracking number showed as PACKAGES DELIVERED ON FRONT PORCH AT 10:05 AM. I PULLED VIDEO SURVEILANCE FOOTAGE AND THERE WERE NO SIGNS OF A DELIVERY. THEIR NORMAL DELIVERY TIME IS BETWEEN 2:30 PM- 530PM that’s what made me suspicious.
This service is basically non-existent. I find it poor to have this institution to post online they are open yet when being called they state they are closed. Huh??? Also we are new to the area and zero information was given about our mailbox. Tried to obtain that and it is a huge secret I guess. Ridiculous!
Have not received my mail in over three and a half months. Spoke with a supervisor and he said he would call me that afternoon. I waited for a few more days, went back, waited in two separate lines, only for him to tell me he FORGOT to call me. Then he made me wait again. Unreliable, incompetent, and unfriendly staff!!! Im pretty sure they get tired of hearing people call asking where there stuff is so they just take the phone off the hook! If i could give this negative stars i would. I have called starting at 9 am this morning, talked to a gentleman named Keith first. I ordered something and it went through FEDEX who then in turn dropped it off at the Post Office. Why? Because FEDEX is too lazy to find my house. Anyways... According to the tracking Number i was provided, my package was scanned out at 10 am on Monday, and it had been at the Conroe facility since Saturday. Today is Wednesday and i have not received it. Really? I live in Conroe. It should not take this long. Well Keith put me on hold several times and said that my usual route guy was not there Monday and someone else had run the route. OKAY... well just leave your name and number and ill try and figure it out. OKAY.... fast forward about 6 hours and still no call. Called back and got some other girl (cant remember her name). I told her about talking to Keith etc. She put me on hold for 15 minutes before i hung up and called right back. This time i got a lady named Gay. Seriously. She went through the same thing Keith did and then asked for my name and number.... same song and dance! I told her i have already been through this and then she rudely said Well we could have avoided all of this if you had told me that and said Keith should be working on it and that i could either leave my name and number again or wait for Keith to call me. Are you effing kidding me? This place is a joke. This company needs to be held accountable!
Conroes post office sucks. Everytime I go there the line of people is out the door. They usually only have two employees running the registers. Im mad today because I waited in a huge line ready to pay for my package and have it shipped. I did need a piece of packing tape. I was rudely told that he didnt have any I must go get some, pay for it, and get back in line to wait again.
I waited 6 days to get a disability check in the mail and still waiting on the 2nd ! They are being mailed out on a Monday and I received the first one on that SUNDAY !!! The 2nd was sent off this last Monday and here it is 7 days later and still no check !!!! This happened to me before right after Harvey and I never did get the check and had to go through hell to get another one because they thought I was lying about not getting it. Is it because I’m in an apartment? What is the deal ???
Took almost a month after moving in to get my mailbox key. They already lost a package, claimed to have left a notice, yet no notice to be found. Wont answer their phones and its about a 30 minute drive just to ask where my package, THAT THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR, is at.
Worst customer service! Two girls are very rude and have 0 people skills! Sad that this is the only one for Conroe! This office needs a major overhaul from the staff in the office to their postal workers!! Even worse you cant complain because nothing is done to resolve any issues from supervisor to corporate! Ive been to this post office several times and its always been a great experience. Yes, Ive always had to wait in a line but the people working there have always been very kind and helpful. One time I showed up right before they closed, no one seamed to be bothered by it at all.
Important Envelope mailed from East Texas on the 18th. Today is the 25th. No sign of this envelope. An Amazon package said it was delivered yesterday. I put in the tracking number and the postal service says it is inScottsdale , Arizona. Normally our packages are handed to us if we are home, because the carrier sits out there and honks her horn until one of us comes outside. Conroe needs a much larger facility as much as this area is growing, & the ones that dont enjoy their jobs anymore need to retire or find new employment instead of being miserable for the pension & benefits.
I am sick and tired of them saying our packages are delivered and they arent!!! I also had 30 pieces of mail of random peoples address in my mailbox like they are just shoving mail in the box to hurry and get done with their route. This is complete BS. I saw the mail carrier leave my package (over $100 order) not on my porch...not on the ground near my mailbox...but on a fence post in the vicinity of my mailbox. And the worst part...where she left it isnt even my property! The service of the US Postal Service has severly declined over the last 10 years...in other words...use UPS or FedEx.
Very poorly managed, unreal long lines theres what 5 6 booths to help people at and theres only 1 or 2 open at a time 3 weeks ago I bought a new mail key and still nothing I went the other day waited 42 minutes in line just to be told Im in the wrong line and I only asked for my mail out of my box very disappointed after I get my key never will I have any dealing with this post office Ill go to Cleveland Huntsville hell even Houston before I go there
Tried to contact several times. Boy, it aint like it used to be when Reggie Hughes and my Dad were there, with the others in charge! No answering the phones anymore???? Cannot reach anyone by phone. Went to their location and presented required items to get my mailbox key and they did not give it to me. Made me pay $25 for it and another $1 to change my address. Fine whatever, just give me my key and get the mail squared away.Incompetent.
Went inside to mail a money order for a ticket and when I said I need tracking and it ensured $100 the lady acted like shes never heard of insuring mail and asked me if theres cash in it and treated me like some freak the whole transaction. Im not an idiot thank you. I hate this place, this isnt the first negative visit Ive had here.
I have had terrible experiences with this post office too. My mail put in the wrong box, checks, gift cards for my kids, and they are never found....or retrieved, someone is happy getting thing that were intended for my family...but we are not. And calling and complaining has done no good. I have been calling and complaining for 5 years and nothing has changed...

2022-02-02I’m so tired of them saying that the new drop off box is on it’s way but many months later we are still here!!!NO DROP OFF BOX! I am so close to boycotting this post office and just use anything other!I don’t believe it takes several months to fix a box!There are families that just want to drop off their mail but now they have to take all their kiddos out of the car… enter the post office just to drop off their mail.Can we please just get back our Drop Off Box!!!

2022-06-25Location is not always the easiest to get to but you can eventually make your way to it. They offer a lot of options and passport is one of these. After making an appointment online and filling out the appropriate forms it was an easy 15 minute process. Just make sure you are here on time, they will not accept late arrivals.

2022-05-27I Did a mail hold until I receive the key to my new mail box and change of address. My Mail has been lost for three months and I never received the mail box key that I paid 25 dollars for it’s been three months and I moved again because the first address was only temporary so I went back to just get a refund for my mail box key I didn’t get I told them I lost my original receipt during my move but I had the receipt from my credit card statement and a screenshot of the original receipt and they rejected my refund because I didn’t have the original one from three almost four months ago this post office needs new workers they mess over peoples mail hold and change of address requests and it doesn’t bother them not a bit they will get an attitude and continue to the next victim. Now I’m out of 25 dollars which may not be much but it was mine and I also haven’t received any of my lost mail which included my new title to my vehicle.

2022-03-26They keep delivering my mail to a different mail box and I have important stuff coming in the mail that I have to have and just the other day they gave us mail for a different address that literally said it was important, I really don’t get how you put it in the wrong mailbox all the time!!!! If I don’t get my important mail that’s coming this time we’re gonna have issues that will need a solution asap because I’m sick and tired of having to wait to get my very IMPORTANT mail from whoever they delivered it to and I’m lucky the people that get my mail even give me my mail but lately I haven’t gotten anything for me from the mail people or neighbors around me so now I’m worried. I barely receive mail and we use to get a good bit of mail each time so what’s going on here? Just please deliver my mail to my mailbox!

2022-02-15Customer Service is terrible. White guy with blonde hair and glasses extremely rude to me for no reason. Wanted to pick a fight with me and argue with me for a prepaid package with QR code return. He tried to make it seem like he was doing me a favor for doing his job. I already paid for my package to be shipped. He tried to make a simple scan and go process Strenuous and difficult for no reason. If you dont want to work or do your job then just leave. Dont take it out on the customers. If you have send or return a package? Pay the extra money and ship via UPS and FedEx dont use this carrier or location. Its not worth the unnecessary disrespect!

2022-07-01I was stressed about getting my passport and saw the lower reviews for this location but it was actually a pleasant experience. If Mr. Robert is working you know things are going to go smoothly and the line will move quickly. He’s super friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful.

2022-02-12They never answer the phone! It either rings the whole time or theres a busy signal when they automatically transfer you to the operator! Customer service needs to significantly improve! I never received my package, someone from the post office finally answered and told me that they delivered my package to the correct address and that the mail carrier may have put it in the wrong mailbox and then they hung up!

2022-05-06Every package lately seems to have an insufficient address despite my address being correct every time I validate it. I get normal mail all the time, but packages are always a problem and are late because of it. Seems like someone just isnt wanting to deliver and is making excuses.

2022-06-11Seems Im not the only person that has an issue with the Conroe USPS. I moved to Conroe almost a 2 years ago and Ive had a issue the whole time. Ive had my mail held in order receive it only to not be given all the mail that then return to sender or return to sender held for 2 weeks before it was returned. Change my address and received package that was scanned forward with no other scans for a week I then filled a service claim and later the same day package shows return to sender with no updated scans. This is the worst post office I have ever seen.

2022-04-26Was on the phone trying to figure out where my package was. A young lady had me on hold, even though it was pretty long, it wasn’t a big deal. I’m in the middle of me trying to figure out how I was going to receive my package and when it was going to make it to my house, the young lady hung the phone up in my face. HORRIBLE customer service.
