United States Postal Service in other cities:
I hate this usps, it’s the one that delivers my mail and their post men are SOOOO LAZY! They continuously mark my things as attempted delivery when they made Zero attemptThey could put it in the apt mail box and if it’s too big they can leave it at the apt door but they are too lazy to drive upI complained to the post master about this once the next time they shoved my package in the box so tightly I almost couldn’t get it outWish I could get a different office to deliver my mail
I have been trying to get my business mailbox rekeyed since October 2021 and were towards the end of January 2022! I go to the post office, make a request a sticky note and told to come back in 3 weeks. I come back and they have 0 record of my request and they just make a new one. My husband went in and they did the same thing. Christopher said hell call me in 10 days and its been longer than that with no phone call. Plus the direct line he gave me to call to follow up is the regular post office phone line that just rings FOREVER.Seriously! This is my business! And you wont even give me my mail?!?
This place does not seem to be big enough for the area that it services. Lines are always long and it appears to be horribly under-staffed. What staff they do have are slow and incompetent. My expectations are always low when dealing with any government agency, but this post office takes it to a whole new level of awful.
No longer doing business at this location. Employees are way too laid back and dont care much to help with Po box issues. I Paid for a PO BOX it was broken 4 out of the six months I had paid for. Spoke with manager multiple times and the only response I received was It will be fixed when its fixed. I transferred to a different postal location as soon as I received the renewal notice.
I just returned from this post office where I had gone to pick up certified mail green cards & receipts supplies. Not wanting to deplete the certified mail supplies out in the lobby I waited in line for window service. I requested 50 certified cards & receipts and was told by the worker that she could not give me 50 but she could give me her supplies. She also informed me that I could order these supplies online. I am fully aware of this but I was not able to order online and needed the supplies now. I am not sure why she could not get me the 50 I requested. Is this not a post office and is there a limit? The fee that is required to mail certified mail is not cheap and this did not seem like a unreasonable request. Was it too much to ask that she may have had to go to the back where supplies of this nature are stored to retrieve the number of my request?
This is the worse Post Office ever! I believe they cheat.. I send out packages and never have issues with any other Post Office but this one! Every single time they say I under weighed it and charge me for more postage. I’ve asked other Post Office if my packages are weighed correctly and they always say yes! This Post Office is a joke and needs new management. Need to have their scales recalibrated. KSAT Defenders should check into this!! I gave it a one star but doesn’t deserve even that!!
I requested a hold on my mail and that the mail be delivered once the hold was completed. Instead this location continued with my usual mail delivery and returned all the accumulated mail with any correspondence to me.Their words, despite the request and no correspondence on their part “you should have assumed your mail would not be delivered cumulatively- despite it being an option and specifically requested with the mail hold”I’ve give negative stars if I could
Worst Post Office! They lose all packages for pick up and each employee blames the other. They cannot process a hold mail service, nor can they start it back.It takes 4 weeks to get a new key if you move houses!Update: 7/5/21 Im home all day and then I get a notification from the shipper that a delivery attempt was made. USPS put a sorry we missed you notice inside my mailbox instead of home delivery like they are supposed to. After I went to the post office they can no longer find the package.Terrible employees
None of the couriers leave return slips. There is no way to find which post office your mail has been sent back to. This has occurred 5 times already. Their complete disregard for doing the job correctly has been reinforced to me over and over. I have even placed a request for a investigation to be taken on the couriers that have been causing this issue. No effort of response has come from anyone at usps. This post office is a complete waste of government tax payers dollars and needs a overhaul immediately. I do NOT trust this post office at all. I will continue to avoid using the usps as long as there are other services available.
I would give this facility zero stars if I could. In the past 2 years, I have had nothing but problems with this location. These are just a few examples of issues I’ve had in the last two months:1) I was sent a package at Christmas that was undeliverable because “addressee not at address” which is not the case. The address was checked by the customer service agent and it was the correct address. In addition to not receiving the package, it was to be returned to sender and it never made it back to the original destination. 2) I received a notice that another package was going to be returned to sender because it was their final attempt at delivery, even though I was home all day on the previously attempted day. And I had not previously received a notice.3) Then on numerous occasions they have “delivered the mail in or at the mailbox” and I have never received the mail or package. And the mailboxes are locked boxes.
One word to describe this place would be “trash.” All of my packages didn’t show up as they were suppose to. Items said delivered but NEVER were delivered. Also went to the post office to see what happened. Waited in a 20 minute line. Sad part was only four people were in front of me. They didn’t answer the side for people to pick up their items. The post office didn’t care to help find my package. Worst thing is five other people had the same problem. Shady post office. They need some actual works not BUMS.That’s all for now bye 👋
Absolute worst post office. Was told that I only needed a forever stamp for my save the dates, even brought them in to confirm with a rep. I sent them out and received over 75% of them back completely marked up. I went back and was told not only did I need a forever stamp, but an additional ounce stamp. I had to purchase brand new stamps for over 50 save the dates, forever and an additional ounce, and I had to purchase new envelopes and readdress them. Either the reps here are incompetent or lazy.
I go here almost every day to drop off packages for a small shop I run, and I have not experienced one bad trip. Although yes, it can get busy, the employees are still always friendly and helpful and get through the line fast. Not sure why there is so many negative reviews, regardless this will be the only post office I go to!
The staff know what they are doing. Its a really busy post office, always a line, but it moves fast. During extra busy times, I have seen them set up another staff person in the lobby to assist with priority mail shipping packages. This keeps the line times down. Enough parking, but be careful, the drivers frequently do not pay attention to what is going on around them or are in a hurry.
Ive been calling for close to an hour and no one is picking up the phone! Ive already been there 5 times trying to get my package returned to me, and then they told me that they would call me when I can go and pick it up, but havent heard from them and no one is answering the phone that the manager told me is the correct number to call and someone would answer. I should have known better and advised the shipper to avoid using USPS. I never want packages sent through USPS. They are the worst
Ive read through various reviews and found a consistent trend of people complaining about incidents that are easily avoided by hopping online and doing a little reading, or simply calling ahead. I have relied on this post office to get a number of various expensive items to me safely and reliably. Any problem Ive run into I found to be my fault, as almost all rules and guidelines are enumerated on your package or easily accessible online. Even when I had made a mistake on my passport form the staff printed me a new copy free of charge and gave me time to refill it out. Last, but not least, to those complaining that the staff is unfriendly.... I find in most cases those instances are responsive to a patron with a horrible attitude. We all hate to be behind the guy in line who is yelling at a teller as if somethings their fault, when the yelling patron themselves didnt have the right documents and or postage.
All of my experiences here have been awful. They are always rude and their answer is always to use another post office. Today I talked to Rene for some questions about non profit mailings and all he did was talk down to me and say to go elsewhere. He was very insulting and I think he is the guy in charge there.
I have gone to this post office for over 15 years and the staff have always been either neutral or very nice and helpful, usually helpful and friendly. There is often a long line, but I have had luck with shorter lines mid to late morning. I love that they have a automated station in the lobby. It has many questions to answer, but usually no one or very few folks in line, and the packages or envelopes get stamped correctly and I avoid the long wait.
This post office will not deliver packages as addressed if they dont want to. They will not as our office if they have questions, they will decide for themselves that a person does or does not work here and return items to sender at their own discretion. Today I asked for a package that was marked undeliverable and they actually apologized and promised to return within an hour. It has now been 3 hours and no one has returned, and as it is now after 6 PM, its clear that I was told a lie just to get me off the phone. Completely unacceptable customer service, but I guess they think they its good enough for government work. Please do better.
Ive never seen so many, and so negative reviews for a single mishap or a wait in line. Some of these reviews are about a missing package off a doorstep or holding on a phone for an hour (who does that?) If you have a missing package, either you have a delivery person who walks the line of a federal crime and losing their job daily orrrrrrrr, your package got stolen by one of the other 2 million inhabitants of San Antonio. Half of the language and criticism here is more of a disservice to society than a delayed amazon package. Ive worked in the area for 6 years, mailing sensitive items, and the wait or the service has never been sub par. Actually, most everyone Ive encountered has been quite pleasant and attentive. If you have an issue (with anything in the world) use the proper channel to enact change. Dont join the mob and put your full lifes stress on display. Otherwise, youre proving that youre just a complainer, and dont really value your own time or improving the process.
After reading several other reviews, I realize I am not the only one dealing with my packages not being delivered to my house. I have had to go pick up my packages at this post office and deal with their terrible customer service just because the postal worker refuses to leave a package at my door or in the designated package locker in the mailbox. Today, as was another reviewers experience, the tracking said they attempted to deliver my package at a time that I was at home. They absolutely did NOT attempt to deliver my package. I also noticed they said they attempted to deliver it at the end of the day, however, our mail comes in the morning. I honestly think the mail carriers coming out of this facility in particular are just lazy. Maybe they forgot to deliver the package when they came by in the morning and only noticed it when they returned to the post office in the evening...Ok, that might be the case...but instead of being honest and just redelivering it the next day, they make up some random excuse about it being “undeliverable” or “held at post office by customer request”. I have not had a single issue with any other carrier delivering packages. As a matter of fact, USPS is the carrier I use the least and yet I have the most problems with them.
The carriers at this location are lazy. They do not attempt to deliver packages. Many times over the course of a year I have waited patiently without a single knock on the door. I have several friends with the same complaint that the carriers will not even drop their packages at their apartment complexs front office. When I attempt to intercept packages by specifying pickup from this location by calling the main 1800 number I am redirected to the Huebner locations main line. When representatives from this location pickup the phone, they rudely state that either they are not open for business (too early in the morning) or that it is too late and the package is on the delivery vehicle.Because of their inefficiency, I have to plan to pickup packages from this location a day after the delivery date. This is not the service I pay for. I refuse to believe that USPS as an organization promotes this type of service. A refresh of the staff at this location is much needed.
Would give zero stars if I could. This is not the first time I have had issues with this particular location not delivering my mail. I had to go up to the post office location multiple times a few months ago before the manager let the driver know he needed to deliver my mail that prior to then had never had an issue being delivered. Fast forward to last week, I have a package stating delivered on May 25th that is no where to be found and the post office says the gps says the driver was at a box in my community but it doesnt say which box the driver actually delivered the package into which doesnt help me identify who has my package at all. I have to keep taking time off work to go up to this post office to see about very straighforward deliveries and its gotten old. I will pay the additional cost to use another carrier from now on-obviously someone is stealing these packages or just could care less about making sure things are being delivered accurately and no one has rectified the issue yet.
I have never had issues with USPS until I moved to San Antonio covered by this post office. My mother sent my children there Easter gifts and it said it was delivered to my house last week. Well I was home and it wasn’t. When I went to talk to them about it they told me there’s nothing they can do basically sorry about your luck. The lady was extremely rude and could care less. If you live in this area Please Please use another carrier. We learned the hard way. That wasn’t the only time either that’s what’s sad.
This post office takes forever, especially to get a passport, they only got one person. I had an appt... they move like turtles and snails here... they make u get outta line if something us wrong to wait again or leave... annoying. They need better management. Time is money and they wasting ours.
At one time, this was considered the model station for the entire US Postal Service. They were a leader in innovations in service and efficiency. How far the mighty have fallen that I see so many complaints about it.The lines can be long, but they are ALWAYS long at every post office if you go at certain times. If you go in the morning before 10:30 or 11, you can walk right up to the window. I have done this at post offices all over the country. No waiting. No lines. After that, most of them are busy until around 1 pm, then from 3 to closing. Some of them are busy from 10:30 on. You need to know which pattern your local station has, and work with that.Know this, though: 15 years ago, at least 3-4 people manned the windows at this particular station during the peak times. That isnt the case anymore. Things have obviously changed.Contrary to what all of you seem to think, the USPS is chronically undermanned. You are responsible for that. You cry and moan about paying a few extra cents for your stamps when things change, like gas prices going up 200-400% in the 2000s--and the USPS is directly affected by that when it comes to delivering your mail. But like the morons you are, you take it out on the postal workers when the USPS brass, riding around in limos in Washington and eating at 5-star restaurants 3 times a day on your tab (as customers, NOT taxpayers-taxes dont pay jack to the USPS, you idiots), decide not to cut their fat cat lifestyles, but instead cut the jobs of the people who process mail, deliver it and serve you at the window, making them work harder because you breed like perverted rabbits but refuse to pay for the extra work people must do to work with that. Those are jobs that not only could provide you with better service, but also fair-paying jobs YOU could have. This is the reality of why USPS service can be slow at times. You are responsible for that. You have only yourselves to blame for it.
They mark packages as undeliverable when they try to deliver them to an office they know doesnt open until 10am. A package was marked as undeliverable as addressed, so I drove down to the post office to pick it up. I was told even though they could see where it was and what carrier would have it, it would still be difficult for them to find it for me, so they just werent going to. Out of the 20 times Ive called this post office, not once has someone picked up the phone. This is why I use anything but USPS whenever possible.
If i could I wouldnt even give this place 1 star. I have had about 4 packages misplaced and nothing was done about it. I spent about 3 hours at the actual facility where the manager showed no urgency in resolving my issue. I live in an apartment and im pretty sure the USPS employees steal my packages instead of putting them in the parcel locker. Every time they leave a key in my mailbox but when i open the parcel locker there is nothing inside. NOT TO MENTION when you call you are never able to get a hold of anyone. THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE.
I work for a business on the route that hits 7800 IH 10 West. We consistently are receiving mail later and later. We rarely ever have an empty bin due to customer payments and invoices. Recently I have noticed days without mail then we get loads of mail. Currently we have several customers complaining they have sent their payments before the end of June and we still havent received their payments with no mail delivered since Monday 7/3. We cant even call to inquire at the location as it just rings to busy. After reading these reviews I am seeing why. Giving 1 star because it requires me in order to submit. If it didnt this would be a no star review.
The staff here needs to put more effort in their work. I had a package that couldnt fit in my PO box. Simple issue, right? My package should be in a box or somewhere w/ my PO box number referenced so it is easy to find .... One would think this is a common occurrence at a post office, and a simple system of organization has been setup for PO box holders to pickup their larger packages. Well, you thought wrong. I gave 3 different postal workers over the course of 3 days (on my lunch breaks) the tracking #, shipper, delivery date, and name of postal service worker who signed for my package, and they still could not find my package. Heres what these workers should be thinking about: AI is coming, and for a reason. So many service workers arent doing enough to justify their worth in many jobs, such as the USPS. As humans, they should use critical thinking when dealing with/ customers; not simply rely on whats immediately in front of them, and say to hell w/ it if they have to actually use their brains. They should have an orgainzed way of running their office.
Lines are very long. I ended up waiting for nothing and getting turned away at the counter because the guy at the desk wouldnt even tape the top of a pre-labled return package closed. Very rude and unhelpful. I will be more careful about ordering online from stores that use USPS for returns in the future.
This is the worst office I encountered in USA. They lost my mails every week. I saw the mails through USPS Informed Delivery, but they don’t deliver to me. Usually I got some mails from neighboring apartment in my mailbox, I give to the respective people. I believe they do the same for my mails but I never got from my neighbor. This place is ridiculous.
Expect your mail to be misplaced or lost, you pay for express mail or priority mail they dont deliver on saturday they just write on the tracking that ( Held at Post Office, At Customer Request ) that i did not request it is a lie . they just too lazy to deliver it was food it will spoil, but they dont care, when i went to speak to the lady supervise, I have to wait for about 30 minute after about five call to informe here that a customer is waiting for here, she came and informed here of my complaint about paying for express service and priority mail but they dont get delivered on Saturday, she said will check and let me now, and then i went the other side to pick the package that was supposed to be delivered on saturday, the one they said i told them to holed, the gentlemen did not find it anywhere, he spoke to the same lady supervisor he said she will get back with me, wasted about 50 minute in the post office for nothing, very bad experience. the conclusion if you expect package to be delivery saturday dont pay for express mail or priority mail because they too lazy to deliver to your home. just use regular mail, it is better and faster.
The line was really long but I had nothing to do today. I was sending a priority mail and a guy came up to me and said I had the wrong box and it would be cheaper to use another one. Took the box outside repacked it. Went back in and the same guy said if I was paying by a debit or credit card he could take me at the far end. Boom!!! Fastest and best experience Ive ever had at the post office.
Brittany is ABSOLUTELY right about delivered at/in mailbox packages. I now have FIVE missing packages that were marked delivered at/in mailbox that have disappeared and never delivered. Someone here steals packages. The post master is rude, never returns calls. I think shes running a ring stealing packages. Id like to report her.
Refuse to answer the phone on Saturday! Rings rings rings! Message says stay on for next agent,. Rings ring rings! Agent never comes! Then says transferring to operator. More snd more rings then you hear a busy sound and are disconnected! This is bull no wonder we all use Fed Ex or UPS instead of this backwards organization!
I had to post a review after the amazing help I received at the Huebner post office. I put several packages in the drop chute and then realized I had put the wrong label on one of them. A manager happened to come out and he helped me retrieve the packages! Truly appreciated the great service.
The carriers have lost 2 packages even though they were marked delivered (they were not placed in my box). Starting an insurance claim resulted in 3 denials and me losing $70 for the cost of the items undelivered. The line staff are rude and unhelpful. They typically forget to ask the safety questions and are extremely slow to do anything. I wish my mail was handled by a station that actually had its act together.
I got an email early Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. apologizing but my Amazon delivery was attempted but because it was in an open area they chose not to leave it. But they didnt attempt to deliver anything because I was home that morning. No door bell rings and no knocks on my door. I attempted to call this branch and the phone just rang and rang. Called the 800 number and it was a 50 minute hold time so I called Amazon. Amazon had my delivery rescheduled with specific instructions where to leave it so their concern for my delivery is only my concern. Amazon rescheduled for the next day Wednesday and gave me a confirmation of my redelivery request. Well today is Saturday and I still have no delivery, no call, email or smoke signal to advise me theyve decided to keep it longer or maybe keep the office open later until I got off from work at 7pm so I can just pick it up myself because its all about the customer, right? This incident is not my first with the Lockhill Selma branch. When I read how the U.S.P.S. is hurting financially and talks of closing branch locations I would shocked if this location is saved. I wish no one to be unemployed; ever. But when you speak with the branch manager her lack if empathy, concern or outcome is not what she knows of. She can look into matters and reasesrch further but she doesnt call back. I can only imagine how her employees have to cope...it takes me back to where the phone just rings and rings and nobody picks up the line.
Had my package stolen by this USPS location. Tracking number & delivery confirmation shows it arriving at this location and was signed by a J. CovidReally? You want to make it more obvious? So now, instead of me signing for my package when it was supposed to arrive, Ive now had to open a stolen package claim with USPS & hope they pay the insurance I had placed on the package.Signed by J. Covid, are you kidding me?
These people will lie to you and youll get bit in the ass for it. Idk who it was unfortunately, but one of the people working at the office on December 1st, 2017 lied telling me that *all* international shipments are insured for at least $200. She indicated the only reason I would need tracking if I asked was if I wanted to see where the package was after it arrived in the other country. So I took the deal, as its obviously sound good. After my friend didnt receive it for 2 months, I tried calling in a lost package but because I didnt get the tracking, it was considered lost and I was out of money - which I accepted as my own loss. However, today, I got the package at my front door *COMPLETELY* destroyed. Ive attached pictures of just the card and coffee mug. There is a Fragile sticker on the box, the box is torn, all the Christmas wrappings are torn up like someone dug into it themselves, the glass mug is broken. I called demanding a refund because of the $200 insurance on a damaged package. They said that first class international doesnt come with insurance and that it could have been the Japanese postal people who were at fault (and Ill tell you, Japanese people respect their mail WAY more than Americans do so to say that is pretty insulting IMO). As for their not being insurance... The lady from when I shipped it said it does! Naturally, customers word isnt as good as an employees these days with USPS. Im at a loss of $95 ($50 for shipping and $45 for the goods inside of the box) and all the USPS is doing is laughing at the $50 gain they made off my package that I shipped. A very selfish company that doesnt care about anyone they serve. Apparently DHL and ParcelMonkey are slightly cheaper options if I had used them for this package at the time. Gonna look elsewhere when possible. USPS is my LAST choice of shipping due to the fact they cant admit to an employees mistake and basically shoved my concerns off.EDIT: Lol, someone removed the pictures of my damaged box and items?? Cmon guys, really?
Dudes were super slow getting my package. Had a notice in my mailbox saying to go to the post office to pick it up so I did. When I got there they took my ID and left me hanging for 15-20 minutes. They closed the door to where they took my ID so I had no clue if they had forgotten about me or what. I figured since they still had my ID someone must be doing something. Eventually I got my package just took longer than I was expecting.
The only word to describe this office is incompetent. No one ever answers the phone -- it is taking 3-4 weeks to get a mail box re-keyed (just moved to the area) - it takes 30+ minutes to pick up mail held at the post office - and even though the mail is listed as hold (because I do not have a key for the box_ - packages are being delivered to the mailbox that is locked and I cannot access! Frustrating. ///// follow up more than a year later - my cluster mailbox was broken into/damaged and the moron postman has kept using it even though the post office had not fixed it and it does not close completely... we have been trying to get passports and each time we go, they are either full or their agent does not bother reporting to work.
It was awful. I go here all the time to drop off my packages and I usually go pretty late. Today I had to ship something I was getting from UPS and I live like 5 mins away but the light at my neighborhood is five mins. I got it at 550 and we sped to USPS and arrived at 559. When I got inside I they didnt allow me into go to the office. All I needed for them to do is to scan it and take it. I told the guy that and he told me he cant let me in. He couldve of just taken it. I had the shipping label on the package and everything. There were even people inside of there. But what really makes me upset is that they closed it before 6 oclock when they close it. I LITERALLY GOT THERE AND WAS INSIDE AT 5:59. Really makes me upset.
An Ebay shipped item was shown to be delivered. But customer did not receive. Trying to get help from this post office is difficult to say the least. The best comment I got from their staff was that they were human and make mistakes. Filed insurance claim but was denied because it was delivered
This post office always messes with mail, and I dont receive all of it. If I go more than a few days without checking my mail the mailman puts a vacant card in my mailbox and send a ALL the mail back to the sender. Ive lived at the same address for 13 years! Then when I go to the post office to fix the issue it doesnt get fixed. Ive had my passport lost, bank card, and other important things because of them. 2 thumbs down!
This place is exactly what youd expect from a quasi-government run operation. These employees get paid the same whether they show up with a smile or an attitude to ruin your day. No accountability, no service. Want them to answer the phone? Good luck. Want anything done within an hour of business close? Laughable. Lines, lost mail during mail holds, you get it all in one convenient package here!
Less than 1 star would be better. Stood in line at the quick service window for over an hour. Employees at the general counter were rude and incapable of getting someone to come to the window even after repeatedly ringing the door bell. I tried calling the post office from the line only to have someone pick up the phone and immediately hang it up...and people wonder why email is taking over!!!
They have the laziest mail man. This guy will sit in his damn truck doing nothing then after 20 minutes he decides to leave and not even attempt to deliver my packages but yet he claims he attempted to deliver! Never get a notice on my door and further more I have security cameras that prove he never even gets out of the truck to deliver anything. So then my packages get returned to sender because I have no idea they are even beong delivered because this lazy pos cant do his job that he gets paid to do. Have complained multiple times and nothing ever changes! This has got to be the saddest post office ever.
If things are difficult due to the USPS being understaffed then we should feel that at every Post office that we frequent as patrons. Yet unlike the icy demeanor of some of the emplyees at the Huebner station the employees in Helotes are warm and friendly and even..gasp..helpful! You should not feel like you are walking on eggshells in a Post office. I have been to this station many many times and NEVER felt welcome
This is the worst Post Office I have ever dealt with in life. In the last 3 1/2 weeks this post office has delivered SIX of my packages to another postal patron. The first 3 packages were returned to me by our Indian neighbors (who live several streets over and had to walk the packages over to our house). Within the last 3 months alone, I have had to telephone the Post Office 9 times regarding package problems with the Lockhill Station office. I had called the 1-800 number a few weeks ago about a package problem and within 2 days I was calling them about a different package problem. Yesterday they delivered over $100 worth of my products to someone else and have no idea where they are now. They delivered $70 worth of clothing to my Indian neighbors a couple of weeks ago (instead of placing it in my box). After calling the 1-800 number about this I never back from Lockhill Station regarding my missing packages. Today I called Lockhill Station and spoke to Rick who told me that the 3 missing packages from yesterday were delivered correctly. WHAT? I dont have my packages. I just walked down to the Parcel Locker and there is nothing there. The national post office has confirmed that all 3 packages were delivered yesterday (but not to me). This is unacceptable. If the P.O. Contractors are either unable or unwilling to do their job correctly, the Post Office should stop using them. I am now going to be forced to obtain a P.O. Box (at the Post Office) because I cannot depend on Lockhill Station to deliver my mail to my Parcel Locker at the Cluster Box Unit in my neighborhood.
This location is absolutely terrible and extremely slow. I waited 30 minutes with only 1 person in front of me. Then when I get there Im told they are not scanning items in and I need to have a receipt to prove it. How am I supposed to do that. Now I have to find a post office that will give me a receipt. What a waste of time and $.
I put together a 4600 piece mailer and prepared for an every-door direct campaign on a specific day, only to find out they didnt have internet access/credit card functions at the Lockhill location. (Was having to pay in person because their website wasn’t working)So, now I have to redo the entire packing/counting, and fix all the slips, only to lug them out there again.. but they cant even answer their phone to let me know if their internet/credit card functions are back online.
I called before I drove here to avoid this! I JUST moved to San Antonio and am living in a hotel temporarily until our sale is final on our house. I called the post office to check on getting a PO Box to find out what I needed to bring and how much it was. I let the clerk know I had just moved here and was living in a hotel-he failed to mention the requested paperwork had to have a Texas address on it. Not only did I waste 20 min of gas/driving, I also stood in line for another 15 for something that could have been avoided completely. Another question, why not work smarter not harder and have the forms you have to fill out in order to get said box somewhere in the lobby??? Seriously!? We wonder why they are not making any profit... Piss poor organization. So I guess I am going to have my mail sent to my hotel room, if they could even find the address to deliver it.
I really appreciate how they keep it real! Despite if there is long line, they take their time if where to save money, and make sure they meet your satisfaction. Thats has been 3 months of interaction. And I surely know the difference from few others post office when mailing.
I dont usually come to this location and now I remember why. I had AJ at the counter, he was tall with dark hair and glasses. I brought in about 15 envelopes all pre-done. I just needed them scanned so I had a receipt proving I dropped them off. I do this weekly so I know what I am doing but he had an issue with EVERY envelope. With each one he scanned he huffed and puffed and rolled his eyes. He was quite rude and should not work in anything with customer service.
Made an appointment for 11am and it said to be here 10m early. Ive been here for 40 minutes and Im still waiting.***UPDATE***Debbie is so rude. No customer service. She was yelling with her coworkers because someone needed to come to the front and kept making remarks like well that was really smart and why am I here very sarcastic and rude. If you didnt understand something she would say let me say that again as if the customers confusion was such an inconvenience to her. Really rude lady. I dont know why she has a job if she cant work with other people.
Whether its a femalee mployee w/bad employee rolling her eyes with every sentence spoken before saying we cant do that here contrary to what other male employees w/bad attitudes did as part of the mail in take process after making mountains out of mole hills regarding postage placement (certified mail) and more, making up their own rules.. After waiting in line ending out the door, its not worth the time and frustration. Never again will I return. And I spend thousands a month on postage for business purposes alone..
The most unorganized post office in San Antonio. You have to wait in line for 1 hour to get your mail. All because they dont know how to get two people to help with the workload. We the people standing in line currently are sending out an S.O.S, please bring food and water!!
The service at this post office is slow. What is most frustrating is they DO NOT answer the phone when you call, no matter what time of day you call. If I ran a business the way they run this post office, I would have been forced to close my doors long time ago! Their lack of service is what gives government agencies a bad reputation.
No one answers the phone; supervisor doesnt care, providing excuses instead of reasons and wont accept help for solutions. Three visits to get a passport, all unsuccessful because all the details are not clear, their equipment wont take a debit card, no one answers the phone, or something to prevent satisfaction. A horrible example for government service; this place deserves neither sympathy for shutdown nor stars.
I’ve been using this post office regularly for 14 years and consider it outstanding. I’ve found, with very rare exceptions, the personnel there to be courteous, helpful, and friendly-just as you would hope for it to be. I agree there are the occasional long lines, but nothing like I’ve seen in other locations.
Tracked an Amazon order and it says unable to deliver because they couldn’t access the delivery Address. I live in an apartment complex. How are you not able to access the mailboxes??? Also stated that they would try again but of course they never did. It’s been over two weeks and I still haven’t received my package.
I’m very upset with the mail delivery process. I have had packages saying they were delivered that I never received, and also packages that were taken to the post office for pick up, yet I was never left a notice in my mailbox. I’m so extremely disappointed. Yesterday I went to inquire about my missing packages and was told I would receive a call from the office after speaking to the carrier, and I never did. If I could give zero stars I would
I recently placed a letter in the post office mail box that was supposed to be a certified letter by mistake. I went back to the post office (Heubner) and they were very helpful in retrieving my letter (needed to sort through a big bin of mail to find my letter) so that I could send it properly . I appreciate the time and steps they took to resolve my problem. Thanks, ladies!
I was helped by the kindest worker. It was a dude that was named AJ or BJ or DJ or something like that. Anyways, there was an older Hispanic woman that was leaning on the counter, refusing to help anyone. If she was on break, she shouldve went to the back. Her poor service was outshined by the young guy though. He actually saved my fiance and I money by suggesting we use a different package then the one we originally chose -- it was a $6 difference. If youre reading this, I dont remember your name, but you were awesome!
Very positive experience. It was very busy which is to be expected during the holidays on a Saturday, but an employee was walking around helping/directing everyone which made it easy. I think I overheard the employee saying he managed that location. He was outstanding.
Went to this post office to ship off two small packages to Japan... The lady at the counter told me that it would cost $70 per box. Well, Im used to shipping these boxes to Japan ALL the time, so I asked her to select the cheapest option. She said it was the cheapest option available, or I could put it in a priority mail box and the price would be *half* of that. Well, thinking Ill be about 15 minutes longer for my lunch break, but Ill save myself $70 altogether. Yeah I can do that... So I boxed up two priority mail boxes, restuffed all the stuff I was shipping to my friends, rewrote the addresses (which btw, Japanese addresses are freaking long so this takes 5-10 minutes by itself), and went back up to the counter to the SAME lady. Ok... It now costs $67 per box. Wait, hold the f*** up. Have you ever mathed before? 70 / 2 = 67? Where the hell did you go to school at? Youre telling me I just made my lunch break pass the amount of time Im supposed to be out because I thought I could save $70 for 15 minutes, and here I spent 15 or so minutes to save myself $6? What the f***ing hell?Never shipping packages to Japan via USPS again. I dont give a sh** that they have a monopoly on international prices. The fact they more than doubled the prices of shipping packages to Japan, and then they hire people who dont even show that they care, cant do math, etc... Im done with that.
I had the pleasure of visiting today, and though there was a short wait, the agent behind the counter was most pleasant and efficient. I got to witness how, a woman ahead of me, berated the same agent and insulted her because she was told (courteously) that she had to wait her turn to pick up a package. The customer couldnt get immediate service from an agent who was serving another customer, so she moved to a different line, and threw a temper tantrum when she couldnt have her way. Needless to say, the tantrum was uncalled for, directed towards an employee who was simply doing her job, and forced upon those of us witnessed the despicable hostility and lack of manners/class. The sense of entitlement the customer had was abhorrent. And this, sadly, is whats raising the next generation.
I wish I could give no stars! Avoid this place at all costs especially if you value your packages. Our delivery woman has received several complaints but nothing is done and now my $100+ item has disappeared into thin air. They never answer the phone, they lie, they are disorganized and have no accountability.
I used to go to the post office on De Zavala, until I was helped by Brandon. He is an extremely rude individual who obviously doesnt know a thing about customer service. After my first 2 encounters with him and his bad attitude at DeZavala location I looked for another post office location to avoid him. However, today I had the unfortunate opportunity to talk in to the Lockhill Station and see Brandon at the counter. I tried giving him the benefit of the doubt, but no he is still rude and unfriendly. If you ask him a question he responds like it is a burden for him to answer. His way to ask for your packages is to slap on the scale and stare at you rudely even though I placed them close to him. He is just a rude person who needs to learn how to be a gentleman. I guess I have to find another post office to avoid him again.
This is by far the worst post office I have ever dealt with. Never get my mail and everybody that I have talk to is either very rude or very unhelpful. I received my mail in Korea with much better results then this post office. I wish there was a separate option separating Poor/Fair because I wouldnt consider this post office Fair on its best day. Ridiculous to think our tax money pays this garbage.
I have been trying to reach this office by phone for 2 weeks now...nobody answers!!! Our business address is 11550 IH 10 W, SA TX 78230. The mailman here has been delivering mail to the wrong offices for about a month now!!! WE EVEN GOT MAIL FROM A DIFFERENT BUILDING TODAY! The mailman obviously CANNOT read!!! EVERYDAY...we get somebody elses mail and WE have not been getting our mail!!! GET RID OF THIS GUY! I keep missing him but will wait for him today!! This is bull!
I went in to this post office this morning and was greeted by a super wonderful clerk Aj who was so wonderful blessed fantastic for helping me out with my postal needs this is a fantastic super post office by far the clerks are all very good and helpful it pays to drive a little bit more to get to a great post office
WORST POST OFFICE WE EVER BEEN!! MY PACKAGES GET LOST ALL THE TIME THAT I RECIEVE AN INTERNATIONAL MAIL, THEY HAVE AN EXTREMLY DISORGANIZED SYSTEM, IS OVER 2 WEEKS AND THEY STILL CANNOT FIND MY MAIL, I SPOKE WITH 2 MANAGERS THAT ASKED ME COUPLE DAYS TO TRY TO TRACK MY MAIL, NEVER HEARD FROM THEM, EVERYTIME I CALL THEY PUT ME ON HOLD FOR 30 MTS AND IF I PERSONALLY GO THEY STILL CANNOT FIND IT!!!TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE!!
TERRIBLE service .. a bunch of rude incompetent people who can never give you a straight answer, will not do the research to better serve the customer and always...i mean ALWAYS placs my mail in my neighbors box... my neighbor has become my mail man because everyday they are walking over delivering my importan mail that was left in their box... Thank god they are honest, one of these misplaced deliveries was a $5000.00 check!
My mom sent a gift for $1000 and the mailman stole it or he did not care and left it at the apartment door step and nos all my gifts ar either stolen or Ive been robed and who ever did this is going to jail for 10 years cause I have a tracker in the gifts but its in a apartment complex soo Ill let the police handle it
WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! HAD ME WAIT AN HOUR IN LINE JUST TO SAY THEY CANT FIND MY LETTER. MY 3 YEAR OLD IS MORE ORGANIZED THEN THIS PLACE, EVERY CUSTOMER HAD A PROBLEM AND HAD TO WAIT FOR THEM TO LOCATE THERE PACKAGE AS IF IT WAS A TREASURE HUNT AND COULDN’T FIND THERE’S AS WELL. HOW THIS LOCATION IS STILL OPEN I HAVE NO IDEA.
I CALLED TUESDAY AM - TOLD THE FEMALE i WANTED TO RENEW OUR TWO PASSPORTS. i HAD DOWNLOADED THE FORMS AND COMPLETED THEM AND HAD OUR PHOTOS. SHE TOLD ME TO COME IN FIRST THING WED. AM. WE SHOWED UP AND GOT A RATHER ABRUPT RESPONSE. NO APPOINTMENT; NO SERVICE. i ASKED WHO ANSWERS THE PHONE? THE ANSWER WAS SUPERVISORS. i ASKED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. I WAS TOLD I HAD TO DO IT ONLINE. I WOULD NOT COMPLAIN UNLESS SOMEONE AT THE FACILITY HAD NOT MISLEAD ME.
If theres below one star I will rate this location, the staff is rude yelling , letting everyone one knows what are you shipping, theres a particular guy whos super mean and yelling at people at the moment they enter the door and treat everyone as they are stupid!unacceptable!

2021-07-28Location is clean and visible. Automated Postal Center (APC) was very unreliable, don’t waste your time after hours to send mail. The hours posted on Google was incorrect especially for picking up important mail or packages. The employee at the counter to pick up mail and packages ( not the USPS employees that selling stamps and mail out package) was extremely rude, poor work ethics, and no customer service skills. I wonder why people like this still had a job.

2022-05-24This location is always busy access from the street is easy plenty of spaces and lot is well maintained.Once youre done playing your game of frogger to get into the building, everything is fine. The one thing I wish that they would post very clearly is time and location of where to go for passport services at this location not sure if its in the office with multiple people or the little side office out of the wall.Postal employees seem a tad overworked but friendly and willing to help.

2022-07-23- Staff are unsympathetic to your issues - expect to get rude responses and no admission of their own mistakes.- Refuses to support USPS redelivery - if you miss a delivery from this post office expect to wait on a long line to pick up your package even if you request a redelivery.- Noone in this location has any interest in helping you resolve your issue. They simply move as slow as possible in hopes you will just go away.If you have the unfortunate situation of having this as your local post office dont expect any help. This post offices package pick up counter is staffed by one person and is never open on time. I showed up at 8:30 in hopes I could complete my package pick up that they failed to redeliver before work and ended up waiting well beyond 10:00 to have my package. Do not recommend. Retrain staff. Support the features that USPS has online.

2022-06-30Wesley oversold me today. I told him that the two boxes were only books. He proceeded to show me a screen with just ground and higher fees. He never told me that I could send it via book rate when that is what I asked him. I thought that the ground rate was the book rate. What used to cost $16 to ship two boxes ended up costing $39.On top of that he asked if I would be interested in sending it overnight for $70.Is he getting a bonus for overselling? When I complained he said that the transaction was already made and if I wanted a refund. I would have to wait until the authorized person came back from COVID to give me a refund.I am reporting this one.

2022-05-08Well, I hope the passport office is open tomorrow because I have an appointment and they just n email to confirm it. I am low income and have no car and have to pay $40 for a taxi to come do this. I just now read the reviews that say appointments are always cancelled. but this is the nearest passport location. I hope you are open. I will be very angry if I waste this money I dont have and you tell me my appointment is cancelled. You will be giving me my taxi money back.

2022-04-13Booked a passport appointment online and when I arrived then informed me all appointments were cancelled. Appointments online are not available for a month out. They also do not answer the phone when you try to call. I went to the post office on Cedar Elm and they were able to help me, took less than 5 mins since I had all the paperwork and copies needed.

2022-03-17This is the absolute worst post office in the city. Strongly recommend doing business elsewhere. They have cancelled appointments with us just minutes before the appointment that was scheduled months in advance. For training that just seemed to pop up. All stereotypes of postal service employees rings true at this location, starting with their management.

2022-04-18🙋💯🥰I am very surprised that this place has many bad reviews. For me it is the best option, plus I live close by. The staff it has been always very polite, friendly and efficient. From all the USPS locations, to me this one has the best service. Thank you very much! 🌿💯🌿🌹🌿

2022-07-27Had a package at there location for redeliver or pick up till the 29 we’ve been in and out of town. Finally had a chance to pick it up on the 26 and was told they already sent it back to sender even though I still have a couple of days. I check the usps website and am told it is still at there location and have no way of locating the package back to sender. What going on? How do you send thing without tracking it back. That way it doesn’t get STOLEN when sent back. Ps just realize that I am 11 days out fml probably on a truck in the back being ready to be shipped out the following day so they can say that they had it a full two weeks before sending it back. Sad

2022-07-26We have scheduled 2 separate appointments to get passports done. On both days, we got a call the morning of that there is no agent to do the passports at that location. If they don’t have anyone to process passports that often, they shouldn’t be listed as a location to do passports. I would choose another location if you need to get your passport done.
