United States Postal Service in other cities:
I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had a smooth run at this post office. Something is ALWAYS wrong. Broken self serve machines, locked package drop boxes, extremely rude employees, not all, but I’m thinking of one in particular. She seemed to be in a leadership position. There was an issue with the self serve machine and it literally took 45 minutes of her passively standing there, refusing to believe it accepted my payment, as it told me it did and I even had proof on my phone via bank statement, so literally the post office owes me $20. I had my two young children there and there was literally no apology, no explaining to me what she was doing and why it was taking so long. Could not even believe how rude and careless this employee was.
It is not often that I need to visit the post office to send something but I noticed that, more often than not the clerks will make your mailing priority without even asking you if you want that service, I have sent now twice a passport application, the first time it got returned and had to send it a second time around. The first time I paid over $8 because the clerk decided to make the decision for me to send it via priority mail, w/o asking me if that is what I wanted. The second time I sent the same mailing, after fixing an issue with the application form, the fee was half because I was not paying for priority. Why are these clerks making decisions for me that affect how much I end up paying? Funny part is that, theyre trained like dogs to get as much $$ as possible from customers but never get the right salary, the right bonuses so... big LOL to you USPS clerks, trained like dogs to get as much $$ as possible from customers but never seeing any of that $$ going to your pockets!
Shirennette was very attentive and kind in helping us purchase our forever heart stamps for our wedding invitations. All other locations did not have them and she thankfully had plenty for us to buy! There was no line to wait in which was a plus. I recommend this location if youre in need of stamps, especially if its the forever hearts stamp that youre looking to buy.
There is nothing in the Constitution that says the federal gov shall deliver the mail. Today showed me yet again why we need to get rid of the USPS. 11 people in line in front of me and.a line that long the entire time I was there with 1 window open. A postal worker was at another window but never opened it. No private business could run this way. There is no excuse. End the USPS!!!!
Ive been going here for years. I have shipped thousands of packages from this location (small business owner). The employees are very nice, and they added a large drop off spot for prepaid packages by the front counter, which is great as I dont have to wait in line to drop off my prepaid packages if the other bins are full.I love this post office and all of the employees there. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this location.
Its very simple really. I put a stamp on a letter, bring it across the street to the post office, and then the post office loses my mail. I dont understand why you get so poor quality in The woodlands. How can one post office lose so much f-ing mail??? I walked the mail into the building and put it in the mail slot. I like to stick extra stamps on letters even though I dont need to to help support the post office. This is what I get. Now, even though I PAID to have my mail forwarded, they are delivering packages to my old address. No wonder the post office is dieing. They just dont care about their customers. They just want bailouts from the government. I think we should stop helping you all and let your business die already. The post office is like dial up internet. Slow and unreliable.
I have been to this location twice to send a parcel internationally. Both times the staff have been rude, and the service level has not been as expected, it seems they dont like their jobs. The first time I went through with it, but the second time I had enough. I went over to the location at Pinecroft Dr., where I was met by a friendly and service-minded lady that helped me with what I needed. The Pinecroft Dr. location is my go-to place from now, well worth the extra drive to avoid the staff at this place.
The older blonde lady with longish hair needs to figure out how customer service works. Super unpleasant and unwilling to help. I stood at the mail pick up window for ten minutes, ringing the bell multiple times. Then got in the regular line as I figured the window did not have anyone working it. Waited in line, then got to this woman. She told me to go back to the window, I told her no one was answering and she said just wait there anyways. I asked her if she can get someone to go to the window and she just called for the next customer. The guy next to her called me over when he was done with his customer and he helped me. He was very nice, which is the only reason this is not a 1 star review. Not sure why she couldnt and wouldnt help. And also not sure why there is a non-functional mail pick up window.
Update. Our mail carrier had a sub, so hes had to correct several misdelivered items. My hubs went to the post office to inquire. Everyone was so nice, and of course, the carrier is the best. Alls well that ends well.So frustrated. We received a note that a package was delivered yesterday. Nope. Waited today...still no package...and noone to contact in this regard. This is the 2nd time weve had this issue. Our regular postal carrier is wonderful, so not sure whats going on. The one positive about this post office location is the self service inside for packages.
Been in The Woodlands since 1978 and its sad to know our neighborhood still tolerates this type of poor, incompetent service at a government agency. Im assuming they dont even look at these reviews, as almost all of them reflect the same opinion with no improvement, but hopefully I can help someone else. Ive experienced everything from damaged deliveries crammed into my community box instead of placed in the package box or doorstep, to unprompted rude behavior by the facility staff just for asking a question. Lines are always backed up because typically only 1 employee is working, the self-mailing kiosks dont work most of the time, and they have different requirements than everyone else for processing any type of legal document. Ive literally been told by a Supervisor, that We do things differently here at the Post Office. Great...wouldve been beneficial to know they follow a different process than every other government agency but since no one ever answers the phone, or your question, you end up wasting your time. I avoid this place as much as I can. If it wasnt the PO for my address, I wouldnt have to deal with them at all. If you need postal services, I recommend going to a different PO, UPS or FedEx, buying stamps from the grocery store, and going to the Montgomery County Annex to get your passports or any other legal document where they follow the correct process & requirements. If you come to this PO, no telling what will happen so you better have a backup plan. The 2 stars are for my current mail carrier who takes care with my packages and an employee who tracked down a package for me that had been sitting at the facility for a week. Good luck!
I’ve watched employees belittle dozens of customers deliberately and collaboratively. Once, I actually had to give a young girl a hug who was brought to tears just while trying to have her passport photo taken. I avoid this location & prefer the one down the street next to the police station on Pinecroft. The Pinecroft staff are friendly & helpful.
Unethical, passport officer, offer kept waiting on my appointment time 11:30am as someone already reviewing on my time, when my turn we are showing documents and my DL id card in my car, I said its my car she said me to wait and I brought my DL card she kept waiting after 30min offer says you missed time and incomplete documentation you have to come again....her language says she is lazy, not interested to process my application even I have all doc...her stupidity to keep me waiting after 30min says come again
Very surprised that this US Post Office allows customer-facing employees to wear a face shield and no mask. The manager was rude and stated that a face shield is a CDC recommended face covering. This is not true. CDC guidelines clearly define what is and is not an acceptable face covering. True the agent was behind a plexiglass barrier, but he is potentially exposing his co-workers to COVID. Very disappointed in the managers close-minded attitude.
Hello, I have dropped two packages now at this USPS that have disappeared or been “stolen” from the package drop off machines. I received a note with misspelled words saying that one of my packages was found outside of shipping channels and is being investigated. If the manager reads these, it appears you have a theft problem that you are not addressing and it’s interfering with the public’s ability to send mail. Considering these have both occurred from two different locked drop off machines within your center over the past two weeks (Both the outside one and inside one), I think it would be wise to conduct an internal investigation to protect your customers. Totally unacceptable.
If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. Do NOT go for your passport at this location. The woman is awful, rude, disrespectful, and EXTREMELY unprofessional. We had an appointment and she wouldn’t give us a time of a day because she was behind, even though we waited patiently for 35+ minutes past our appointment time already. I have never had such a negative experience at a post office. I hope that management takes note of this review because this woman needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY!
I dropped off mail on May 13,2020 in the outside blue mail drop site. The mail contained my rent money orders of $1651.00. My money orders have disappeared and the one for $651.00 has been cashed!!!! How does this happen? Of course the money orders were filled out completely. THEFT!!! Please reach out and help me. I need answers now!! I just got notice of eviction
First let me tell you something.... THIS IS A DANG POSTAL OFFICE. These ladies do not have time to consistently kiss yall funky behinds to make you feel good about yourself. Now that I have cleared this horrible misconception up, hello you beautiful people. These workers are completely awesome, professional, and down right quick. Today I applied for my passport through this location. Not only was I amazed about the short period of time I was in the office, but how quick they answered my questions and concerns.DO NOT COME TO ANY POST OFFICE WITHOUT GETTING YOUR INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTS TOGETHER AND THINK YOURE GOING TO BE IN AND OUT!!!!!!These workers here are very consistent with their work ethic and customer service. Some reviews I have read state that the workers need more training. No darling you need to get your head out of the clouds and follow directions. People come to the post office wanting the workers to fill out their documents for them. That is not their job!!!!!! Get your lazy behinds over to the counter top, take 1 minute to fill out the form, and allow the workers to do their jobs.Thank you.
If I could I would give this place 0 stars. We were told that we filled out the wrong form, so we told the lady( who was the “supervisor”) who gave us the form that she was wrong and she was so rude about it. The supervisor at this store should not be working in customer service. She was rude and very disrespectful. Please try to I use this post office at all costs. We ended up not posting our letter and leaving. This lady should not be in this job, she was horrible to us and treated us with so much disrespect. She acted as though she owned the place. We had a very horrible experience there and nothing would ever make us go back there ever again.
Last Saturday I was out working on the front walkway. When a postal worker pulled up to the mailboxes. He was in fact taking up more then half the roadway. A vehicle had stopped to wait for him to deliver the mail, when he started yelling extremely loud “F—- him, and you can go to H—- “at the other drive. Now I’m retired military and you could say at times I can be less then nice. But I would never do what he did when children are around. I did tell him to stop. He mumbled something under his breath finished with the mail, slammed shut the door to the mailbox’s and drove off. I don’t know who to complain to because the last time I was at the post office one of the supervisors lied to my face about my mail being their. The counter folks are awesome, some of the best customer service.
Had a passport appointment. It started out alright but then I needed a copy of my license as I didnt have one. I was going to come back at a later date and time, but the woman told me she could make a copy. I said alright, let me go get it out of my vehicle. She said Ok. I came back in and she was gone. Went to the desk for help and that lady found her for me. Passport woman came back out with major attitude and says, You walked out so I thought you were gone with a glare. Takes my license, comes back out with a copy which she basically threw at me, told me to pay $1 at the counter. Her tone and facial expression was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. The older lady at the counter with darker hair and glasses who has been mentioned was there and she was very lovely. Everyone else had 0 personality or way too much of a bad one.Its no wonder the USPS has gotten the reputation it has. 9 times out of 10 the employees are horribly rude with 0 common courtesy or decency.
Showed package delivered to my cluster box. But...they did’t deliver it to me. Spent an hour and a half at the post office saying it wasn’t lost until after 30 days and said there wasn’t anything they could do. This was a supervisor. I am tired of my neighbors getting my bank info and my credit card bills, not getting my so called delivered packages and the so what attitude from the post office. I also get mail and packages that aren’t mine all the time. This is the Panther Creek post office.
Been there two times and have had a great experience. I’m a newbie at shipping boxes and such and this beautiful lady, I don’t know her name but she has brown hair and glasses, she was so nice and considerate and helped me out more than ever. She’s one worker that makes me less anxious to visit this place because of its low rating.
I go to this post office typically at least 2-3 times a month. They are professional, quick and unlike previous reviews Ive never been treated with disrespect or have been rude to. They often get busy with a long line and in my opinion they do a great job of keeping that line moving and being efficient. Ive been to many other post offices in the area one in Conroe and several in Houston and this one is significantly better than the others Ive been to. If youre looking at the negative comments saying was rude to me, trust me it can get much worse. If they dont chat with you they arent being rude theyre trying to keep the line moving and do their job. Also keep in mind if you start the conversation by giving someone attitude or if you take out your frustration on them when your issue is not their personal fault, likely that attitude will be returned in kind. Generally thats been my experience at any government facility (DPS, Post Office, Social Security etc).
If I could mark 0, I would. My smoke ridden carrier works out of this location. I rarely get my packages. I had my card company tell me the post office returned my card because of the address. My address was read back to me and it was correct. I had a package marked delivered when it was not. I got the run around when I repeatedly called for help/an explanation. In almost 16 years of living in the area, the last few years of this carrier/office have been a disappointment.
I have no complaints about the customer service that is provided at this location. Everyone is very nice and helpful. I visit this location because it is open later, and I can drop my packages off after I get off work. But several times, I have fought traffic; made it to the location 10-15 minutes before closing, only to find that they closed their wondows early. The first 5 or so times that it happened, I ignored it. But, a pattern is starting to develop. I called the toll free number to report the issue. They were very nice, and filed a claim. But once it reached the actual location, the manager denied that it had happened. I called him and spoke with him personally, and he continued to deny it. So, long story short... I will not tolerate being called a liar. And I will not continue to waste time driving to a location that may or may not be open. And Ill be switching to FedEx for all of my shipping.
Hard to find behind the trees you cant see the building from the road. A nice large parking lot paved and very well-maintained. The building is very large the entrance is easy to find. A lot of people coming and going very busy. A full-service post office with everything you would expect. They have stamps and take packages. The employees are not really friendly but they are efficient and thats all you can ask for. I like it I think they do a good job. Just a suggestion they could use an automatic door opener when your have your hands full of packages its hard to open the door. It was my first time at this location and I will be back. I highly recommend this to anyone.
Ms. Dorthy-- our mail carrier has a great and sweet demeanor. She has been delivering mail in our neighborhood for several years and the only time we have a problem is when she is not working. We absolutely appreciate all that she does and are so grateful to have her! Only downfall is the actual location-- I mailed a cell phone in the mail last year (priority mail) and it never was sent out to ship until weeks later. When the person who I sent the package too had finally received it the cell phone was taken out and inside there was a laptop charger of equivalent weight. I am SO disappointed and I make a point to NEVER use this location to ship packages.
The location that I normally go to is closed on Saturdays but I wanted to get my stuff mailed out before Monday so I went here. That was a mistake. Dealing with Shyrnette was the worst customer service experience that I have had in a long time. She seemed nice enough at first. She was telling me the options for mailing my items and said that additional services were shown on the screen at the counter. One of the options shown on the screen was a First Class letter with a much lower price than what she was quoting me. I was mailing a 5x7 manilla envelope which didnt seem to me like it would be considered a package. So I asked her if I could do the First Class letter option. Well she went off on me in a very rude and demeaning manner. She proceeded to tell me that what I was mailing wasnt a letter. She told me what a letter was and that I was mailing a package. She completely overreacted based on the simple question that I asked. I didnt argue with her and just let her finish my transaction without any further discussion or acknowledgement from me. But I will never be going back to this location ever again.
Ashely had a really bad attitude. Most of the people there are really nice. I was being very polite and she just had a nasty attitude and aswered my question sarcastically. Ashely needs to learn some manners and basic customer service skills. Total diva.Needs an attitude adjustment. Like I said most of them are very nice and helpful. I’d purposely let people go in front of me in the line if I ever had to deal with her again. Sorry Princess Ashely for asking you a simple question! Hope you enjoy the dress you were shopping for on your iPhone.Must be nice to have a job where you can be a total jerk and not worry any consequences. However I’m actually polite and would never act like that.
Minus infinity stars if possible. This place sucks and the employees together with managers should all be fired and replaced with nice people! I went there, they have something with me. Everytime I go , they abuse their power and I feel discriminate it. Today I was asked what do I mail. I said a book. She says really and starts bending my package and trying to detect something it. I got very upset. I opened the enveloped and showed her. She said what book is this. Managers come but they are as rude as the clerks. I am told what book is this? Dont I have the rights to mail books! I said look at it. Then I am told I am very aggressive, after they were so rude, and made me felt so horrible, like not trusting when I said its a book. The managers said step aside. I said why? I dont need to. I have the addresses on. I want to send my packages. They said because we are calling police, We have rights not to send your mail. I told them I stayed there 20 min, no one searched anyones package or bend them to the point of damage! They said we are waiting for police. For what? This is outrageous. These people should all be fired! I have no idea how managers tolerate themselves in this situation and promote such a culture. At one point the clerk said I bend like this all day packages because I do not want our post office to blow up! This is unacceptable. She clearly wanted to imply I am a terrorsit or what? This is insane and it is an offense! She cannot talk like this! All I wanted to mail two books- one french and one history, and I have been abused and discriminated. I left because the police is as bad as them, One day I stopped at a stop sign and it was my turn to go, when a police car , half way i was taking the curve, they were waiting at the stop sign to, go going and almost hit my car!!!! Last week when I was at this post office it was similar..they laugh in my face and treated me like a garbage. I have made a complaint . This is unacceptable. I am thinking to go further, because this is abuse of power and discrimination.

2022-04-12Today I actually experienced a wonderful 5 star service. The line was long. It was 3:30 pm. There were 2 behind the counter and one gentlemen who was assisting folks at the self serve kiosk. He was so helpful and friendly to all! He made things move along very quickly. I left super happy today!

2022-02-14I only gave this review 5 stars so that the comment would be displayed at the top. If you want a PO box I would not come here. If you do, you better pray to baby Jesus that you never get any kind of package or certified mail that doesnt fit in the box. It takes a solid 15 minutes to get someone to answer the side door to get any packages.Take your business elsewhere...

2022-01-27This is the worst post office I’ve ever been to. The self service machines have been broken for months. There is no longer a large drop off bin so you have to wait in a long line to just drop off a package which defeats the purpose of the self service. The staff is so rude. They all have attitudes, except for the guy with the beard. He’s super nice. I’ve heard them yell at customers for not knowing where to put packages. Horrible!

2022-05-08Saturday is the busiest day here. The line is always long. Usually only one clerk working. The Post Office needs to staffup to better serve its customers.

2022-02-13I felt I needed to add a review to temper some of the bad reviews here for the passport service. I think the experience depends entirely on who processes your application. Looking at all the negative reviews, I was very apprehensive going into the appointment for my daughters passport renewal. My appointment was at 11am and I was seen at 11.15am. Not bad given that previous appointments had passport pictures to be taken. We got Tuan as our officer and he was amazing. He was very friendly, clear and answered all our questions. On our part, we had perished and had all the required applications and documents in order. Our copy of the birth certificate was a little dark, so he took a new lighter copy and gave us one for our records too. We even had some nice conversation about our names. A big shoutout to Tuan for a no- hassle, even pleasant experience.

2022-06-25Do you have to be miserable and angry to work at this Post Office or does the job make you miserable and angry? Why treat the customers so rude? The front counter people who work there should find another job if they are so miserable.

2022-05-29This post office could use an upgrade. Everything seems to antiquated and rundown. The workers are nice and during busy hours do try to have at least 3 or 4 windows open.

2022-06-22I went today to pick two boxes. One box was somewhat damaged. The mail lady told me that I can decline damaged box. Then the post office would send back damaged box which could cause more damage. I had no choice but to receive. These boxes are somewhat heavy. I asked to use a dolly not given. I asked for help that didnt happen. I was trying to avoid a second trip. The lady was not very helpful at all. A customer in line volunteered to help me. Very poor service from this USPS office. I do have a bad back which I didnt mention. I hope I never have anymore business with USPS again.

2022-04-15Apparently, its too much trouble for someone to collect mail from the blue drive up mailbox in front of this post office. I had to drop off an urgent letter. It is an oversized box and at 3pm it was so full, mail was literally poking out the slot. It looked like the mail hadnt been collected for days.
