Mostly everything was good here except a technician trying to take blood. First of all, some people in labs do not need to be handling needles trying to find vein. She didnt even use a pressure cuff. That is important so you can get pressure to see veins, no that was the first mistake. She laid my forearm flat, and had a death grip on my forearm. With say a 21 or 23 gauge needle you never wanna have the arm kinda downward so you break the subcutaneous plane. She struggled to find the tiniest of vein, i wonder why with no pressure; very difficult. After she poked and failed i was not going to let her butcher my good donation arm for plasma. I addressed the problem, they said i could have asked for someone else, true but is this how you operate. Ever hear of identifying a potential problem especially with another nurse watching, she should have spotted something wrong, i sure did. The staff need more training and common sense, that is completely unacceptable to try and take blood out like that, please please have her go to medical training. I felt unsafe around this woman in labs so i left the facility. I feel sorry for other vets who may have been subjected to her lack of serious medical training which can cause intrusion, hematoma; serious bruising. Replace her with a person trained in taking blood. I donate at csl plasma and they use a 18 gauge needle and are 10 times more safer than that woman

Take a drive through the parking lot. That will tell you everything you need to know about how the government state and federal feel about veterans. Its all downhill from there. Privatization is the key and only solution to the problem. The attitudes of the employees there is almost as bad as the parking lot.

We checked in at 1:33 for a 2:00 appt. They did text him to go in, I had to call the number listed at 2:18 and they said he could go in and then I received a call from the doctor at 2:50 saying he had a 2:00 appt., I stated hes been in the clinic almost thirty minutes. Then at 3:15 I get a text he can go in. He was already with the nurse.

Received the Covid Vaccine 1st Dose, but it took 2 and a half hours, for everyone was a walk-in. Some lackadaisical clerks took longer checking Vets in than others, but they are in on their off day and there an hour earlier than the recipients.

Good service. Friendly especially when they were in the tents and tempers tend to be short. Could not give a 5 due to not being able to get inside. Parking lot in front of the building where handicap parking is needs replaced.

The staff is five stars and went the extra mile and made things happen for an active duty service member in crisis. Kudos to the MH staff

I got the feeling that I was inconveniencing the doctor by doing a face to face follow up to an emergency episode. I do not feel respected or cared for there.
