The employees here are HIGHLY, KIND FRIENDLY and PROFESSIONAL. They were able to take my lowered vehicle in and assisted with no problems! Recommended if you wish to be serviced by nice people.
No receipts,no stickers for window to show milage when changed.and bad service!!! This will be my last time here. I hope no one tells me how good the oil change is there.bad news travels faster than good news.
Alerts on my cars condition are super helpful...and super annoying! At Valvoline Instant Oil, they replaced the burned out brake light, added air to my three low tires, AND changed my oil. I never had to leave my car while they worked quickly and efficiently.
Went here earlier today to get my inspection done. I think I waited for about half an hour or so, but I did arrive around 11ish on a Friday, so that was all me. In order to cut down time as I was 3rd in line, James (I believe is his name), came out and checked my lights/wipers/blinkers while we waited for the machine to be freed up to complete my inspection. Super nice, polite, professional guy. I will definitely start bringing my business here from now on. Thanks, guys!

Went on Tuesday afternoon and got right in no wait time. All the workers were extremely pleasant offering services without being pushy. One especially helpful employee took the time to fix previous oil change companys mistakes. decent prices for synthetic blend products plus $25 off coupon
This is THE place to go for an inspection. Super fast! I was right down the street and would have to wait 45 minutes just to get started. At Valvoline, I was seen immediately and I didnt even have to leave my car. They are in a race to finish ASAP and even have a timer displayed. 10 minutes from arrival to leaving. Ill be a repeat customer!
Very helpful. Explained what they were doing in a very simple manner. Even though Im a mechanic and can change my own oil they broke it down and easy enough for someone that has no idea of how a car or vehicle works.. came in and it was 50% off today and they did a wonderful job

It was good, fast and friendly service. But coming out with a small screw in my left front tire, I was a littleupset. I called valvoline to report and let them know, I didnt want anything else other than to warn them, the shop manager then looked at the video of the car coming in. He told me since no one took of the skid plate, the screw couldnt have come from this place, like if I was the only car that used the middle lane, I understand if the screw was long, but it wasnt. It was 1/4 in. Long, I will never take my business there again.
Long wait time and iffy pricesWaited over 30 minutes for an oil change where there was just 1 car in each lane. There were 3 staff so you’d think it’d be fine with 1 for each car but it looked like the manager was doing his own thing. One of the staff that was actually working on cars took out my AC filter; not sure why. I told him I literally just asked for an oil change. Still have to check my truck to make sure everything is in place based on other reviews. The only reason I give 3 stars is because I got a discount. They tried to charge me over 50$ for an oil change when I’ve never come close to that.
In for state inspection. Equipment not functioning properly and took twice as long. Plus the one bay for state inspection was doubling for oil changes. So another 30 minutes. And their credit card machine wasnt working either. Seems like the owner doesnt provide employees with adequate and properly functioning tools to do their jobs and customers come away with unfavorable impression/experience.Update:Added 1 star as owner respond to email and offered a discounted oil change service. I didnt accept but appreciated the response and apology.
I’ve done a review in the past. I take my Car here for oil change at this specific location every time. I used to go to jiffy lube and pay way more and always had some sort of damage afterwards or a repair that needed to be done. Luckily since I’ve been going to Valvoline I haven’t had any of that! I hope it stays consistent. Christopher was awesome at keeping me updated during the service as well as the break down of the recommended services!
Honest & professional. I’ve had very positive experiences with them. During one of my visits, a technician made an error. Their local manager owned the issue & went the full distance to address & correct it. We’ve used them ever since. Their response & customer service was far better than other shops I’ve encountered.
I was pleased that all I needed to do was pull up my car. No need to get out of it. I got an oil change and the staff were fast and efficient. They completed the change within 10 mins.
Polite staff and quick service. However, sloppy. They spilled oil all under my skid plate. The next morning my driveway was full of oil to the point where I thought they had forgotten to put back the plug. I usually change my own oil, so I know there is no reason for this mess to happen. Those of you who know, it is a pain to remove oil from porous concrete.
I rarely give positive reviews but WOW! I came here to get my car inspected, and was blow away by how awesome the customer service, and speed was. Ohh and the Lobby was super clean! The day before i brought my car to be inspected at Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers right down the street across from LA Fitness and they where trying to money grab me so i left. I know way more about cars than most places expect me to, and I know for a fact when a place is trying to money grab me. This place was the complete opposite and 100% on point! If your looking for a HONEST place, that is fast and has great customer service this is the spot. There are not to many shops in this area i trust but i can honestly say i trust this place. Really wish i knew the young mans name that was working Sunday. Because of him, this place will have all my future business and I will be recommending to all my family and friends. Great job Valvoline!

Got our oil changed here and our car started pouring smoke from the tail pipe. Took it to the shop and they said it was because our oil was overfilled and it was spilling over. Praying the damage is fixable but would never recommend this place to anyone. It’s not that hard to put the right amount of oil for vehicle type.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! ValvolineHave to admit I was very shocked about how quick this crew was! Just stopped in to get a oil change with my boyfriend and expected it to take a long time. Aaron was very knowledgeable, and continued to ask the lady at the front of our vehicle if she needed help even if she politely said no. Kayla was very polite and had us in & our in five minutes! She even filled our tires. These two employees made me a forever customer I will never go anywhere else!
Bought a Groupon since I needed an oil change and figured Id give them a shot and see what they were all about. Groupon was a tad more than a couple of others places, but not much, and the service I received was worth every extra penny and more. The guys that work here are extremely friendly and professional. Their service is prompt and they wasted no time getting right down to business. They didnt try to haggle me for anything extra, which is a huge plus, and the shop itself is very clean. Spotless really. I used to work in the automotive business for years, so thats particularly impressive to me. Ill definitely be back, with or without a Groupon just because the experience was so seamless and pleasant.FWIW, Ben was the tech I interacted with primarily and he gave me a heads up that my skid plate had bolts missing, only 2 of the original 8. Very glad he let me know. I bought this car brand new last year so Jiffy Lube off of 518 is going to have some explaining to do shortly....

I arrived at Valvoline Instant oil change and was instantly greeted by a lady named Kayla who told me all the prices for my oil change and wipers. She had told the price for two sets of wipers. One was two for 25 and the other was two for 40. When I pulled into the service center another guy name Joseph told me a completely different price he said one was two for 12.50 and the other was two for 30. After that I didn’t want to be helped by Kayla because she was trying to charge me more than Joseph was and I was upset. Your employee Kayla is incompetent and should be working else where if she does not even know simple Prices. Other than that this service centered was quick and efficient and I will be returning!
Was overcharged $20, staff overlooked or didn’t know how to apply discount for me providing my own coolant for radiator drain and fill. Computers were not working last Saturday and was given a handwritten invoice. A couple days later was given an electronic invoice that was $20 more than handwritten invoice.
Went in for a simple oil change about a week ago. After the oil change was done the gentleman informed me that the bolt to my oil pan was stripped so they put some kind of pin in its place. So I took the car straight to my mechanic, and thank God I did. He couldnt understand what this pin was that they put in place of the bolt. I had to go purchase a new bolt. The oil change had to be redone. If they felt the bolt was too tight shouldnt they of came and told me before going forward with the oil change? This ended up costing me $145. Much more than a simple oil change. I gave them 2 stars because the gentleman that work are very kind. Kindness counts for something in my book.
They had me at 15 minutes or less for an oil change! I orig got a coupon in the mail for the new location in league city. I usually go to NTB and even with an appointment I’m waiting around maybe 30-45 minutes to an hour at most. Anyways, I pull up about 6 associates got right to working on the car for the oil change once I confirmed that was what I was in for. Very polite and friendly staff! They work well together and are just super cool. The man who was the one at the computer informing me of what the fluid levels were ect was very intelligent and non pushy as to add on sales. I was very comfortable with everything that was told to me and was done In about 10 minutes! I didn’t have high blood pressure! Hah! Completely am sold!
I went to this place and got quick service but after 3 weeks my car started acting funny and stuttering when I started it and an engine light came on. Took the car to an auto shop and I had over a quart of extra oil in my car, which had caused a sensor to be triggered and malfunction and the overflow of oil had gotten into my fuel lines, so I had to replace the sensor, remove debris and have fuel lines flushed and get yet another oil change, all caused by too much oil in my car. Were these people not trained correctly?How careless do you have to be to put a whole extra quart of oil in a car?! I will NEVER return to this place or any of its other locations again!!
I definitely recommend Valvoline Instant Oil Change to everyone! They’re very affordable and you can sit in your car while they service your vehicle! Joseph is the employee at 2495 E League City Pkwy that helped me and my husband and he updated us on everything we needed to know about our car! Joseph was very professional and I recommend asking for him when you get your car serviced at Valvoline! We will be coming back because of his excellent service!

Do not send your daughter here alone for a simple oil change. Im headed there tomorrow to talk to Alex and his manager about where in my daughters service manual it says that synthetic oil is required. Im also looking forward to seeing where they upload their oil change results to CARFAX.
Went for state inspection on a Sunday tried calling several times before going to verify state inspections on Sundays but no one answered phone. Arrived and was told gas cap calibration machine not working....if only someone answered the phone could have saved gas and time. My first and likely last visit.

They are pretty good with oil changes but they are pricey. 80.00 dollars for oil change and air filter. Said they would email receipt. Havent received it yet.
I only had one problem with this service center.When I arrived I was helped my a man make Kevin he asked me what oil I wanted and Kayl started to work on my car, as she was working Kevin and Joseph were using inappropriate language (cussing) and being very loud. Had it not been for how fast they did my oil change and for the fact that Kayl smiled throughout my service I would have rated lower. I will be coming back because my service was overall good, just the one problem

Drive through car inspection was great. Only problem was the first time the inspector must have chosen something incorrectly as the vehicle failed. He reran it and it passed fine.

2022-03-25The guys at this particular location were super friendly and super helpful. William. in particular, took a lot of time to explain the ins and outs of the AC system, while Angel did a great job recharging the system. Highly recommend stopping by to see them for your car maintenance needs

2022-08-07Kids in the pit are still learning how to do oil changes. After oil change they spilled old oil and never cleaned it up. Forgot to put back oil drain cover plate. Went back up and they had three Oil cover plates from totally different vehicles. Convinced manager to replace it. After a month of waiting I just paid the $20 to dealership and put it on myself. If you use this service you have to check their work (similar experiences posted)

2022-05-23I came in on Sunday afternoon for an oil change, the shop was empty. The tech started the inspection and the usual, we can do this extra service for you for only an arm and a leg routine when another vehicle pulled up for service. The tech down in the pit had drained the existing oil while the other tech tried to remove the oil filter. Tech was called down to handle a problem with the other car and when he came back up, he just started pumping new oil into the engine. I thought maybe he had changed the filter while down in the pit. I got home and was curious, so I popped the hood and looked down to see the old AC Delco oil filter when I should have been looking at a white Valvoline oil filter. Called the store and they offered a $30 credit but when I got to the store, they tried to refuse changing the new oil that had been run through the old dirty filter. After about 5 minutes of arguing with the guy, he finally relented and redid the oil change but was acting like a child that didnt get his way the entire time. Bottom line is if you use this place, check their work!!!

2022-05-31I thought it was pretty neat. I didnt have to exit the vehicle at all. I got an oil change, new wipers, new air filter, tires aired & lights checked. Im slightly biased though. My son works there. Lol

2022-02-02The service at this location is exceptional! The only caveat is the price. They charge a hell of a lot for a synthetic oil change, but Id rather give that money to this place than a dealership, any day. They offer to fill air in your tires, answer any questions you might have and are very open about their prices.

2020-10-05UPDATED I have a TDI and oil changes take way longer than the average car. I go in today and when I leave my skid plate wasn’t secured properly. When I pull back up, the guy noticed me and the issue. Then was told me that I had to back up and let someone ahead of me which I’d have to wait another 30 min. Instead of claiming mistake and taking care of it which would take 2-5 min. They still have my screws. I won’t be back because of this and if you’re going to say 15 min oil change do it in 15 minutes. On top of all this I’m still waiting for a call back.Update it took them 40 minutes to put the new skid plate on. The manager was the one to put it on and almost let me leave without one screw not in. This is the quality you will expect when you go there.Update I took it to get an oil change from somewhere else right down the road. Found out they didn’t even install the drain plug that I provided or the one that was on it before which caused it to have a massive oil leak. Just another reason they should have 0 ⭐️. Very disappointed in the quality of service since they changed something a few months back.

2022-03-26The worst experience ever yet again. Tried to use them a few years ago and I said I would never go back but sometimes thing change. This is not the case with this place. Employees are rude and unprofessional. I will never go back again.

2021-03-17For the second time the same valvoline express has damaged my splash guard is damaged because they were not putting it back on correctly, had my oil changed last week and now my as you can see its hanging and the road has destroyed it already. I bet your asking yourself why did you go back to the same place that destroyed it last time? Well they fixed it last time so I thought i would give them a second chance. But Im not going to keep getting it fixed everytime they forget to screw the splash guard on properly. Please save yourself the hassle and take it somewhere else.
