Walmart Supercenter in other cities:
Usually theyre out of things you need. But what confuses me is that of all the six times Ive been there to get a money order, its the same little Indian woman who tells me the money order machine/ printer is not working. Every. Single. Time. Whats the deal? Does she not know how to use it? Why isnt the problem fixed? Has anyone come to fix said printer? This is ridiculous. If you need a money order, dont go here.
I’m not one to leave negative reviews, but I purchased my groceries from this Walmart for the first time the other day, the store was not well kept and did not have a well stocked selection- especially in the produce. I purchased a package of Great Value (Walmart) brand provolone sliced cheese, refrigerated immediately upon coming home, and the next day, I opened the brand new package to find quite a bit of mold throughout the whole thing. Made me wary of shopping here. ):
The entire store is in a mess after they reshuffle everything. Also out of 10 register only 1 was working. I really felt sorry for the old lady who was working at the register, she was exhausted but still keep greeting and smiling. When I spoke with one of the associate he bluntly told me that it is not his problem. The store manager was no where to found. Later one of the associate Mr. Salim came to rescue us. He was through gentleman who keep apologizing to each and every one. A big thank you to Mr. Salim.
Ordered curbside and it was very efficient. I think the greatest part was that the person who brought out my stuff was very helpful and friendly. I can’t imagine working at Walmart the week before Christmas and still being able to keep a smile on my face with the chaos of it all. Such a busy place this time of year. Great job employing friendly people. Keep up the great work.
I will give this location with negative 100000 stars. The pickup experience is horrible. They put a pickup sign in one place and I waited and waited until I palnned to leave, I drove by a staff and he told me that is not even a place for pickup!!! It is noon time, they shouldve changed the sign early and let people know. There were at least 4 other cars waiting there too. People use curbside pickup to save time and my visit wasted my nearly an hour!!Walmart, if you tried to compete with Amazon or even Target, learn!!! I will not use pickup service at this location ever!
Just as awesome and convinient as Always. Situated in 1.2 miles from Auberry at twins. I find it amazing and catering to my everyday needs. It has a Subway inside for lunch or dinner breaks. The staff is nice and helpful. The guy just knew everything at his finger tips. Im very happy that I ha e a supercenter next to my new house
This is just another Walmart, but I had to grab some stuff after the dentist and I found this one to be especially clean and easy to navigate. Also- I bought some Mexican corn prepared in the deli. It was SO GOOD. I don’t know if it was just their deli staff making it so well, but I’m afraid to try it anywhere else.
We went in to exchange a defective item and there was only one person at the customer service center with 9 people in line. The lead/ coach Layla came by 2 times and saw the line but did nothing. She looked at the line wondered around the counter and gave everyone in line a dirty look. Who does that? What kind of lead is that?? If you want bad customer service go to this Walmart.
Heads up— black girl, average height, big feet, extremely annoying disposition is plainclothes loss prevention. She lives to suck walmarts d*ck and ruin lives to ensure rich corps get richer. I know theyre barely paying her. But the high she gets playing cop must be enough to get her by.
While living in Allen, I will usually go this Walmart and still do something when it’s on my way. The line is not too crazy and u get your stuff and go. Everything is being moved inside lately that can make you go for walk and walk inside before you find what you looking for
It is heavily raining today and I am waiting for a pick up order from yesterday that got delayed. I received message about after closing time. Came here yesterday night waited for 30 min, called customer service and they mentioned i can pick up the order now. I came here and again waiting for more than 30 min(still waiting) but a agent said she will bring my order as soon as she can, but I don’t have any hope. It is very frustrating to be waiting here with no help and wasting my time. Everybody’s order is being helped though. They could either cancel my order and let me order a new one, but again nobody can answer that.Meanwhile as I mentioned it is raining heavily and all agents are in raincoat and pulling down the windows will wet your cars. Have to pull down to explain my situation multiple times.BUT there is this one gentleman in picture that is going beyond and carrying a umbrella so his customers Seats don’t get wet. Kudos to this guy for going above and beyond his job.
Gotta hand it to this Walmart. The pharmacy has been incredible and fast. Good customer service and the turnover has subsided. People are now recognizable upon your return. The rest of the store is 3 in my opinion. Gangs of mangers stand in the aisle like theyre working nd the conversations reveal that they are not. Spills remain unattended for too long nd the lines rare horrendous.
The store was nice and clean. We were able to find beautiful Christmas decor as well as health and beauty products. Customer service was not good. Of all the employees we encountered, only one spoke to us. The others were walking around us like we were common thieves. My biggest grievance with Walmart is that the employees stalk customers like prey instead of practicing customer service excellence. Its almost like Walmart doesnt want customers to shop their stores.
Its my fault I keep ordering for deliveries. Today is the FOURTH time I have ordered a delivery and it just never comes. This walmart will NEVER i mean NEVER answer the phone. When I drove up there last time to see where my groceries were they blamed it on the delivery place they used and said i could pick the $650 worth of groceries I had ordered and a refund would hit in 4 to 5 days for the hold they took out on the delivery order. The whole management, delivery, everything about this walmart sucks. Worth the drive to go to another one amd definitely finally learned my lesson and never ordering from here again.
Grocery delivery never came!!! I’ve tried calling Walmart.com to get a refund.. all they do is say they can send an escalating email to the store to release the funds. However it has now been 2 DAYS and still nothing. Called the store multiple times and no answer. I need a refund NOW!!
No one came out with my purchase for Curbside pickup. I called 5 different times to the store and no one answered the phone. The sixth time I called I finally got through and asked for my package to be brought out. The employee brought it out and apologized stating that the other employee could not find her phone and thats why she didnt answer her phone. Really??For a quick Curbside pickup it took almost 30 minutes.
Each time I shop at this location, there is never an open a check stand. We are forced to use the self check out, every time. When asking the associates they don’t have an answer and direct you to use the self checkout. If I will be checking and bagging my own groceries each time, I demand some type of payment back. It’s ridiculous. This elderly woman in front of me begged to get a cashier at a check stand, how does Walmart expect everyone to use self check out??
I want to like this store because its in a good location. However, everytime I come in here and need to find where a product is located, nobody ever seems to know where nothing is and most of the time what it is. Ex.: I asked where an ice cube tray was, and the employee asked me what that was. Really? In general, the employees just dont seem very attentive here. As a customer, I actually dont need a lot of attention; however, if someone doesnt know where something is, the typical employee response here is I dont know without offering any additional help. Pretty wierd. Another con is that they seem to run out of items rather quickly- the way some of the products are cleared off the shelf in this store, youd think that there was a natural disaster going on when theres not.
I just thoroughly got ripped off here. Bought exact same shirt 3 different ways. All 3 shirts were in the clearance section all 3 shirts had the same clearance tag. 2 of the shirts came up one price while 1 of the shirts came up wayyy cheaper. These are the exact same shirt and when she went to supposedly ask her manager her manager said its because they had not changed the other 2 in the system yet so I had to pay the higher price for the exact same shirts. Are you freaking kidding me😡😡😡
I was at the BIG store in Allen at Exchange this morning a little after 7 am to buy coffee, tea and creamer for work. I went to self checkout and scanned my items. The sign came up that I would need cashier assistance. The light was blinking. I turned around and saw the monitor putting bags into the bag holder at another register. I asked her if she would help me... no response. I thought maybe she didnt hear me. I look to see if the light is STILL blinking...and it was. I asked this time being a little louder Can you help me. This time she scurried over to another station to refill the bags. The third time I raised my voice and she seems to hear me- sort of quarter turning towards me.At that point I decided I could buy the coffee creamer and tea needed at another store. As I was leaving she turned and acted like she was going to help me. I left my bags at the register. At that point I was done. You lost yet another customer. How many people are leaving with thier groceries without paying ? How many people wont return because Walmart has forgotten that the customer is part of the equation. Figure out a bell or something that people can ring when they need customer service or kindly post the number to the nearest store that cares.
It was around 9pm and not even ONE lane with a cashier was open. Only self check out and I had a basket full of items! Self check out is fine for a few items but it is VERY inconvenient for a customer to have to scan each item individually and sack their own basket full of products!! I can see if I was saving money by doing this but nooo...these prices we’re paying includes a cashier so it’s really a rip off. I’m sure Walmart doesn’t care what one customer feels since they’re a billion dollar company though.
The guy from customer service man such horrible person I ever went through! Hes coach over there tall and white guy with beard, I tried to return a damage chair I bought hes like accusing me that I didnt buy beetwen 1to 90 days thats made my day terrible, I also work at cvs we never treat people like that hope management people close look their customer service
Totally inept. I came in because online it said there were only two left of what I wanted. Not there. A friendly stocker suggested I go to customer service. I waited in line for a while. They were no help and didnt even know the number to call to order online and have something shipped. I asked to speak to a manager. None came. A supervisor sent someone over to a register in use, even though they told him they didnt know how to do what he was asking. I only found one person that actually could help me and she was a cashier, busy ringing people up.
Wide variety. What ever you want is either there or there is a substitute that will work. Not necessarily the highest quality, but also not the highest prices. What got me was the large number of employees that were incorrectly wearing their COVID masks. Either wear wear them correctly or be vaccinated and do not wear them at all.
This rating is for the photo center. OMG!! Dont go to this one bc its crazy how the people they have working there dont know jack! They pretend to know xyz just to waste your time & energy but dont know anythg. Ive been there more thn once and every time I come out mad bc machine broke or employee cant help with xyz...every person has pretty much been incompetent! Im not going there (photo center) again!!
It is fine. Totally set up different that other stores. Had to navigate if you are used to others. Need to hire English speaking workers though. One guy had to ask the other guy in Spanish where the taco shells were and another lady didnt understand when I asked her where the greeting cards were.
I came in and I was greeting by such a warm person. His name is Gregory he was the cart attendant at the door when I walked in. He took the time to personally hand me a cart and wiped it for me. This has never happened at Walmart before and I have shopped at Walmart since 2005. Later the same night I visited that Walmart to return a chair because it was missing important parts. I must have looked confused searching for customer service and there was Gregory again to directed me! He is awesome! He needs a promotion a bonus a raise something for his positive attitude while doing such hard work.
I really enjoy shopping at this location. Its a nice size, its clean and organized. The staff is always busy, so not much interaction with them when Im shopping, but they seem nice when you do initiate a hello/hi and a smile. The selection of clothing, toys, outdoor activities and whatnot is perfect!
I was in the Allen store a few days ago and got the worst customer service ever. As I began to check out in the self check out line an employee proceeded to stand by the entrance with the arms close staring at me the whole time like I was going to steal. While there was a woman right after me who left the self checkout line without paying and went to the ladies room with a basket FULL of groceries. It was belittling and it was humiliating to have her stare so hard for the whole entire time. It was the worst experience ever. I will never shop at Walmart again and that’s why Target will always win! No one wants to go shopping and be racially profiled!
Though this is one of the somewhat cleaner WalMart stores, and Im blaming school supplies and kids running rampant for the messes, most of the people walking around with the How may I help? buttons, didnt really want you to ask. I even found someone on his phone and asked him if he could answer a couple of questions so I could get an idea of what I needed. I asked someone if they could help me and she looked at me like I had just insulted her characters. After I asked her my questions, she said she just really didnt know, since that wasnt even her department. She didnt offer to find the person who DID work there (I use the term loosely). It turned out from what I gathered, no one there really worked in that department. Im just hoping it was because it was stocking crew, in which case, the start early!
This Walmart is huge. If you have problems with walking very far, you need a cart of your own or one from Walmart. The store is fairly well stocked, but I needed a case for my pistol and the sporting goods dept had none on the shelf. No complaints on this store. Its a beautiful store with nice people. I would shop here anytime.
This is one of the best Walmarts Ive visited in a long time. And unlike Princeton WalMart who forces people to wait 3 to 5 business days go get money back on a debit purchase, Allen understands that WalMart takes our money upon purchase. So they wont force you to spend your already spent cash there by making you take a gift card. Allen WalMart is actually always been my favorite but since covid the hours not in operation makes my visiting this store less often
A cleaner, nicer than average Walmart. Has everything you need, like all Walmarts do...well stocked..never really busy, so I guess thats a plus. But yep, your typical, but better than average Walmart. If you were trying to decide which walmart to go to, hopefully this helped. ;)
Typical WalMart outing. I don’t think I have ever had a great experience at WalMart. It’s always ho hum let’s get what we need to and get out is my attitude. My biggest complaint is the hours have not returned to pre coviid hours and frankly without the 24 hour service it’s just another store.
Macdonald’s. February 23, 2.45-55pm.Raw French fries, no drinks at all except orange juice, extra pay for orange juice, hard to talk with cashier she couldn’t understand order, did not repeat it and made a mistakes by doubling 2 items. I was in hurry and had to pay for all her mistakes. Never come back there.
It’s Walmart. They have everything rarely are there ever issues with products and when their are they typically make them right. They did however stop doing the Walmart Savings Catcher which was a huge bonus because over time you could save enough for a grocery trip or if you were short on money. Kroger or Tom Thumb offer better rewArds and gas bonuses. Also they recently updated and rearranged the entire store which is a positive. It was looking old and decrepit for a while but they took care of that.
I continue to wait for assistance in different departments no one is there. I press the button hear it over the store intercom...no one would come. I have to walk to the Cashiers to get help. However, employees are walking around all over the store, but they say they will get someone to help...👎 like I said I have to work up front to the Cashiers.
If you want to understand why Amazon will crush Walmart, this store is a good test case, IMHO.When this store first opened, naturally this was the shiniest most clean store around this area. But, what stood out to me was the attentive and customer service focused nature of the employees. Unfortunately, over the last couple of years, the customer service aspect been on a downhill trajectory. It seems that management is on a mission to make the shoppers feel unwelcome here. They are not practicing the most basic of customer service. The employees do not make eye contact, no welcome greeting with a smile and the service desk staff are almost always standing there with an angry face taking returns or making exchanges like robots. Their body language yells that they rather not be at this job. Yesterday we were going through the frozen section trying to find a specific product and there was a lady stocking the shelves. During all 4 minutes we were there, not once did she ask if we needed any help. Fine. What bothered me was that she was yelling rather loudly on her phone all this time. Apparently she was wearing a Bluetooth headset which was hidden by the headscarf she was wearing. She appeared rather angry at someone over the phone, I did not understand however, as it sounded like the language was Arabic. When did it become OK for retail employees to be talking on the phone loudly around customers while on the job? We ended up not able to find/buy the frozen section item we were looking for, it was just too uncomfortable to stay there any longer.Walmart, if you are reading this, this was at 12:35PM on 10/21/2019 between A6 & A7. AND, THIS NOT OKAY.
Everything is cleaned and sanitized, when I went today, shop is not crowded at 9am, still some staff are not wearing gloves and masks. Grocery pick up is well organized. They might exclude the items out of stock so for essential items please choose substitutes or you have to order again with 35$ min order. Please wear mask and sanitize well.
LOVE grocery pickup. This wasnt one of my best pickups, this order they gave me moldy tomatoes. When ai got home and saw them I went online via the emailed receipt and posted, thanks the the moldy tomatoes. Next day I received a phone call apologizing and giving me a refund. Great job Walmart!
Yes 5 stars for a Walmart. I have been using their grocery pick up for 2 years... Those folks are angels from God given as a gift to me. I swear. Then there is the inside staff is exceptional as well. Ive had employees walk me all over when I came in late one night for an elf on the shelf. Amazing service there. Also I am a buyer for a local food pa try and we have coordinated monthly bill purchases and they always help tremendously.Sure Ive had an occasional interaction with employees that dont seem to want to be there. However with the way many people treat the employees there (especially the checkout clerks and customer service people) I wouldnt blame them for being less than bubbly sometimes. My experience with this store started when they built it and I have had numerous great experiences here. Well run store. Well done Walmart crew. 👍
Walmart was great, there was plenty of items that we needed. And there was customer support when needed as well. The store was very clean and everything I needed was there. I use the Walmart app to locate my items, and I can scan it to keep track of everything I purchased.Definitely recommend the store and it’s a lot better than the other Walmarts around the area
This store gets a 3 star, because theres lack of customer service and I dislike how the lady who makes announcement talks to customers over the intercom when the store is about to close. Theres no professionalism in her tone and she sounds very rude everytime by 8pm when the store is getting ready to close. Theres no need to sound like she has a problem with all the customers in the store. If you dont like people, then dont work in customer service environment. Respect should always be the focus when speaking with customers who shop at your store so you can have a job. This store needs to do better.
One year ago, Walmart @ 6001 N Central Expy, was a really great place to shop. Now...they have replaced cashiers for self-checkout areas. In the past, it was well stocked and lots of name brand foods, but everything is mostly Great Value now. Always check expirations there, many times items have expired, e.g., eggs. sodas, snacks, meats. I only shop there to get quick items such as papertowels. Please be careful on entering and exiting. Sanitize prior to entering and especially when leaving. Many of the grocery stores have designated a person to disinfect/sanitize areas after each customer. There are other Walmarts in the area that are different.
We usually go to this Walmart but for some reason, somehow, all four photo printing machines are down all at once. People there didn’t seem sorry at all and didn’t even give a reason. They don’t care about their job or who they inconvenience. Called ten times with another Walmart and they never answered and surprise- they don’t even have a photo machine when we get there. They also didn’t give a ****. Don’t bother at Walmart- go anywhere else.
Good customer service and huge selection of products! Only problem is that my father needs to use the shopping ride-on scooter and most of the time there are none available!MANAGEMENT, Please help us with this! Its his favorite place to shop and its really sad for me that he will not be around much longer to enjoy these outings!Thank you.
I know shipments are slow but the shelves could be at least organized and pricing right. The 3 stars are for they discounts/sales only bc the workers there are unknowledgeable and rude. Dont ask anyone for a price or product...I was once told - I dont know I just work here
I stood there and watched as a manager yelled and belittled an employee in front of me, she was unaware I was listening and I was SHOCKED to hear her tone. There is no excuse for treating people the way this woman treated this associate. I heard Walmart did not value and respect their associates but I did not think it was this bad. I could see the hurt in his eyes when I asked him for the managers name. I have never had a problem with this Walmart but refuse to shop here again. Kroger is so much better and will be getting my business from now on....Walmart’s corporate office will be receiving a call from me about you Ms.Kim!!
Great location to shop and get in and out quick. Clean and easy to navigate. Associates are very helpful and nice. Checkout is quick and easy not like other locations where you spend more time in line to check out than you spent finding what you want to buy. Great Walmart.
This Super Walmart in Allen is extremely clean & layed out, organized! Some other locations I have shopped do not seem to have the cleanliness and organization of products. Really like this location compared to the McKinney and Prosper locations. Great job employees for making the Allen location on Exchange the best so far!
If you’re a Pokémon collector don’t even bother spitting in this Wal Mart’s direction. They’ve had the same empty remnants of shoplifted cards hanging on the shelf for about 3 weeks now. I’ve consistently checked and no new desirable product has been added. Don’t bother checking by the registers, there’s only one Pokémon section and it’s in the toy aisle, though you can hardly call it a Pokémon section as all that’s left of it is the carcasses of compromised packages and Dragon Ball Z action figures. Great Ambien though...pharmacy gets a 10/10.
Staff do not wear masks correctly. Teenagers supposed to be cleaning carts are on their phones and doing nothing. The store was dirty at best. And having someone work self checkout that has the personality of a dirty towel and SPEAKS NO ENGLISH is RIDICULOUS. How are you supposed to communicate the problem you are experiencing if they dont understand what you are saying. Save yourself the headache and go to target
This store is great for Walmart. Things are crazy now because of the virus, but also being a retail employee, and a former Walmart employee, I get it. I was shopping and a few employees still checked up on me to see if I was finding everything that I needed. Thank you so much for taking the time out from your workload to help your customers. One even pulled out his phone app to see if the item I was looking for was in stock, it was, and he helped me find it on the shelf, Id just been overlooking it. Store employees have very little control over a lot of things, Walmart has a very tall corporate ladder, and the employees that you interact with are at the very bottom of that ladder. Give them a break, be grateful that they are working their behinds off for lousy pay so that you can have food to put on your table. Call corporate if you want, but know the people answering the phones are also very low on that ladder and have very little power. Some patience and understanding helps YOU as the customer. Things are out of stock, areas are closed off for cleaning (cleaning up messes customers leave mind you), salesfloor employees are not available because they are in the back helping unload trucks (you never make a truck driver wait). Thats retail for you and the trade off for the lower prices you pay. I have personally never had a problem at this store that disrupted my day. I understand the limitations that store staff have, and sympathize with their current situation. I can only imagine, since my work is now closed, being a non-essential retailer. Bless you all and thank you. Customers, learn some patience and gratitude, it will make your day much easier.
They assume every customer is stealing stuff. I have been a loyal customer here for years. Now I cant even leave the store without someone standing at the exit asking to see my receipt and scanning stuff in my basket on the way out. Way to value your customers idiots. Im done with you. Target is much higher class!
Staff unwilling to help with JumpstartWhen I left the store, my car would not start due to the battery -- not having driven it much for months, and the heat wave drained the battery. There was a person stationed outside, and I asked for help. I had cables in the trunk, and just needed someone to pull up alongside to jump from. She talked to the guy stationed inside the vestibule, who thinks that a face mask covers the mouth but not the nose (not a good sign for someone whose job is to sanitize carts) and they said theyre not allowed to leave the store. Never mind I found her stationed outside in the first place, and someone presumably fetches carts from the return, which I had parked beside.I asked a manager, and she wouldnt help, and she asked one of the assistants, who dismissed the request, and then said she cant order anyone so I should try asking other customers.I went back to my car and approached people coming and going in the same area of the lot: first guy asked where and I pointed 3 spots down in the facing lane. He said OK but then drove off!I approached a lady in a jeep who was parking directly across and 2 one over, and she made a face like it was beneath her to be troubled by such things. Finally, a man arriving offered to help and got me started in about 30 seconds.Over the decades, Ive helped maybe 10 to 12 strangers on the road... I wish there was an indicator that I could see that would show that people are unwilling to pay forward and thus nobody would be bothered to stop for them! Call it Karma-keeper app of some kind...I expected better of the people working for the store.
This store use to accept phone pay, but I guess they dont anymore. I got out of work late and was barely able to make it before they closed, I asked if I could come back in 10 minutes to purchase my items since I didnt have my wallet, and of course the manager I spoke with said no because customer service isnt a priority at Walmart. I should have gone to Target.

2022-01-05I liked that simple things were not locked up in a glass case , otherwise U would have to go thru Congress and get the item locked up out.

2022-06-15I love the redo they did on this location. Tons of high labels to see clear across the store where things are. While I still dont want to scan and bag my own stuff, there are tons of self serve lanes that allow for faster check out.

2022-05-05Choose any other Walmart than this one!!!We had to return something at the customer care counter and the line was huge, 6 people waiting and only one person working on the counter. We asked the Lady at the counter, her name is Evan to call someone else because there is big line and she was so rude, refusing to call anyone and being extremely rude with us because we asked for someone to open the other register and reduce the line. Horrible customer care service! I hope she’ll find job that she’ll enjoy, instead of being rude to customers.

2022-05-13This is one of my most favorite stores in the metroplex, the staff goes above and beyond in every department- no complaints. Then, on top of that, good place to go and walk- off that big meal you had at Cracker Barrell next door! Recommend this store.

2022-04-07This is 100% regarding order pick-ups. Today I went to where the pick-up location has been and all the signs were gone except for one that says pickups. I tried calling and no answer. I decided to drive around the parking lot and finally found the new grocery pick-up location. Why wouldnt either the app state there is a new location or at least have a sign at the old location stating where to go??? How frustrating!!!

2022-04-11IM HERE AT LEAST 3 TIMES A WEEK. THE HOT FOOD IS FINALLY STARTING TO LOOK FRESHER. MOST OF THE WORKERS ARE KIND THAT REPLENISH THE SHELVES AND MAN THE PRODUCE. CHECK OUT HOWEVER IS BEST HANDLED ON YOUR OWN VIA SELF CHECK OUT. I WISH THERE WERE MORE STAFF THAT COULD EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE IN ENGLISH AT CUSTOMER SERVICE THIS WOULD SPEED UP THE LONG LINE 😕

2022-06-01Walmart does not have cashiers until 5pm according to an employee. They are short staffed and only use students, but need I point out that this is our 2nd week out for summer break. My elderly neighbor had to beg someone so that she could get a human cashier. I did notice people standing at both doord checking receipts, maybe they should be trained to be cashiers!

2022-05-11Customer service associates are not helpful at all Very rude behavior. If a product code is not scanning they need to solve that problem so Customer can buy it. after showing the price tag also they was rude ... and not helpful finally I have came back without buying that product and went to some other store.
