Terrible terribleMy grandmother just had to have another cutomer help her get an AC unit to the front to buy it because not one person who worked there would helpTried to call the store to talk to a manager and was on the phone for 20 minutes and the girl on the phone couldnt find any managers
It is very difficult to try to get controlled substance perscriptions changed to Walmart after youve moved, if you tried a different pharmacy first and then changed your mind. Youre automatically assumed a druggie? Very strict policy here that hurts even the honest people
UpdateTheyve done some improvements to the checkout lanes which helps keep lines short. The only issues Ive had with customer service is the greeters are sometimes rude. Its mostly the male greeters, the ladies are always nice.The store is old and really needs an upgrade. I would love to have a bigger selection in crafts and seasonal sections. The produce and bakery are much better than Kroger but if youre buying meat youll probably want to go to Kroger.Good selection and okay customer service. I like the fabric section and buy a lot of my crafts here. I have ordered online and picked up at the store, very convenient. The only complaint is that the store could look more modern and clean.
Where do I begin. My wife and I were out of town on vacation and my stepdaughters car got a flat. She has 2 little ones and wasn’t able to get out to get it fixed. We got back in town and drove to her place to see what we could do. I got enough air in the tire to drive it to the service department. They close at 7 and I arrived at 7:05. Needless to say everything was closed up. I went in just to see if they had a night drop so I could leave it for the next day. Jesse and Antonio were finishing up and I asked if I could leave the car. They asked what the issue was and I told them. They didn’t hesitate at all and said let’s bring it in and look at it. I figured it needed a new tire and that was the case. They replaced the tire for me. I went in expecting nothing and received the best service I can recall for a while. I work retail myself so know that customers and associates can definitely be a challenge. Jesse and Antonio are the kind of employees I look for when hiring. Don’t let these guys go.
Patrick (manager) just received a wonderful review with Corporate from me. He is rascist and furthermore did ZERO to address my concerns. He raised his voice, cute me off as to shut me up and wouldnt give me the number to corporate or his store managers name. A car wash has better customer service than this store and the trash they hire to manage it.Wasted my time was lied to. Patrick is a horrible manager, dont bother wasting your time or saliva trying to speak to him.
It is close to home. The staff is helpful and grocery pickup is over all close to perfect. There is opportunity for their veggie picking skills. Also, ice cream is something I will not order from grocery pickup. Ok, so pretty much non-perishable only for that dept. Other than that they go above and beyond in customer service. THAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART.
I love going to the Super center, especially this one. I know it like the back of my hand and Im in and out in no time. Its very clean, well organized, no clutter, Ive actually even gotten to know some of the staff so, help is never too far away. I will continue to give them 5 stars, they deserve them! Nice you guys at Super Center!! Top notch work, keep it going!!
Supposed to go buy 2 fitted twin xl sheets . Unfortunately almost everything they have is in sets. Fortunately they did have singles though in the lower 300 thread count. Unfortunately they were out of most items and colors. And all the confusion I somehow grabbed flat sheets and then had to take them back and switch them but the lady that helped me do that was awesome and it worked out really well. Just wish they had the things in stockUpdate went to get some stuff with my daughter. The store was fairly crowded as usual but it was easy to get around and I even found a plant that I wanted.
The so called (secret shoppers) that prevent theft in the store are not very secret about following us through the store. To the extent of what I would consider creepy, and uncomfortable. Also, when I need help or have a question about something, suddenly there is not a worker in sight. I love Walmart, always have but I dont like how they have cut staff at checkouts and no long stay open 24hrs.
My wife was sold a battery. It was installed. Next morning car wouldn’t start. CCA was to low for car. Two days later Tried to bring it back and swap it for one with higher CCA and pay the difference. Manager Danny was more worried about proving me wrong then customer service. Told me the battery was fine and wouldn’t let me swap for a higher CCA. Horrible service and I’m out $140. That’s a lot of money where I come from. I will not be back to that store. Wal mart should make this right.
They seem to have a perpetual inventory/stocking problem. Its frustrating having to visit another store because certain items arent available. Im seriously considering not visiting Walmart anymore because the hassle of going to another store outweighs any cost benefit derived from shopping at Walmart.
Good place to shop when you need groceries, prescriptions, ect ect But my customer Service experience I the past was not the friendliest, I was trying to return something that had broke within a month of buying it, Granted my husband left the box in the sun for about a day or two and it got sun bleached, but they would not accept the return. As well as trouble in the electrics department, when Ive asked for help they dont assist me well
Employees Ty and Andrew were very polite and helpful today! Really appreciate the time and effort you both took. Always nice to have a polite and respectful young person in this store. We were greeted by Linda, she also made this visit nice. Not all employees at this location are willing to take a moment to help or answer a question. These employees made me feel very appreciated as a customer. Exceptional job today! Thanks!
This Walmart is so nice and stocked with so much more than my local one. I drove 45 minutes to get a toy. I couldn’t find it so I asked a store lead in the toy department and she went to the back to get it for me (it had just been launched) and I’m so grateful to her for being so nice.
This Walmart is always busy. It will be difficult finding a parking near the entrance so best to just start looking in farther rows. This store also gets fairly heavy traffic most times. Theres a good mix of people that shop here and I feel fairly safe. Store is clean and organized and much better than the one in on Broadway in Pearland.
We the parking lot and building entrances are always a challenge. Their hours on the open doors are beyond dumb. It really makes me want to go somewhere else, and i normally do. Maybe as Manvel grows they will have better stores. Alvin city management is poor. Road system sucks, and that 20 years and counting. Walmart is a pain to get too. IF TARGET IS LISTENING, COME TO MANVEL.
This place is a joke. Looking for associate in sporting goods for 20 minutes. Walked over and had someone in automotive page them twice. Power goes out for a minute or 2 then comes back on. After 5-10 monutes Another customer calls customer service and asks to speak to Mgr, within 2 minutes out of nowhere 2 associates show up saying they cant sell anything and its going to be a while all computers are down.. funny though because I walked up front right after being told that and somehow checked out just fine. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
This review is targeted to the garden center, outside in particular. Items are listed in a binder that is difficult to locate. Prices are not posted correctly outside. Purchasing these items is very difficult, making it more attractive to buy them elsewhere. Thanks to one amazing employee that went way above a beyond, I got my item and he even loaded it for me. Thanks Val ! Customer service was unwilling to help. Cmon! Its 2021. Get all items in a searchable database for cashiers!
I do love Walmart, no matter what state I am in. This store always offers everything I need in one stop and I love saving time and money! I do have a small gripe though. I ran out of my Airborne Original gummies while traveling and went to Walmart to find myself another bottle. When I found them the first bottle I picked up, the gummies looked like they had melted into one big glob of gummy goo. So did the next, and the next. Thankfully the last bottle I picked up looked normal because I really like them for boosting my immune system!!
BAKERY: Below average bakery when it comes to custom orders. Icing is extremely sloppy and doesn’t even extend to the edges; also definitely missing basic details that are shown in the cake catalog. Ordered two cakes with the same theme/kit, one cake is missing 80% of the plastic cake toppers, whereas the other cake has 100% of the toppers. Sheet cake is also cut crooked/curved and is obvious. Completely disappointed.Pros: nice bakery staff, ready on time.
Had to make a last min. Stop just before closing when I went to self check out there were 6 registers open when I was informed that the werent taking cash and I needed to go to the only check out open !!you know the one that every one elsa in the store is in line for! Common man
Walmart is just about at the lowest its ever been. Its dirty, disorganized, stock has been cut in half. Many shelves empty. This is good because there are very few live checkers. Self check outside are too small for family groceries so you stand in long lines when there is stock in what you need
😔 lve arrived ready to get my groceries and medicineRushing for the bathroom it was being serviced, very KINDLY I asked the lady how long it was going to take, so rudely she answered that was none of my business that all Ive needed to know is that the bathroom was being service, if she answered purposely to make me mad.She did an excellent job about it.
They offer masks and hand sanitizer at the main entrance if you dont have them. Not too busy at night, but they do close down the entrance on the right after I think 9pm, so, park closer to the train tracks if visiting later in the evening. Its a decent Wal-Mart for a small town and they have pretty much everything any other Wal-Mart has. No complaints here.
Its always clean, the people are always helpful, the shoppers are the best and courteous, other than those days of panic shopping, they seem to always have merchandise and groceries available. The McDonalds and Woodforest Bank located here are clean and welcoming.With two bathroom locations though, it seems harder to keep up with maintenance on and need some work done. They are usually well cleaned, with soap available...just maintenance, like a better towel dispenser.
Not stocked very well, still holding off on the restocking. If HEB and Target can restock why cant Wal-Mart? It seems like theyre trying to show me somthing... not really sure what. No one will help even when asked rude dismissive employees not an enjoyable experience (EVER) I TRY NOT TO GO TO WAL-MART.
Homeless. And I even help the customers that are trying to get the garden stuff loaded into their cars because no employees are around to help them and customers are in a rush. I offer to help and I do help them.. And then I was told to leave by someone in a Prius. She said get off my property . How heartless. I hope that was really your property. If not.. Shame on you.
I can buy groceries I can buy all the vegetables I need to cook whatever I got to cook ....I can buy paint... I can buy hardware.... I can buy I can buy any vitamin that I need to live in the proper manner.... And if I need to work out I can buy things to work out at Walmart..... God bless Walmart thank you Lord thank you Jesus
I’m pretty happy with this Walmart location. I never have issues parking, the store is always very clean and organized (even in their clearance selection!) I gotta give it to the associates, I’ve been coming to this location for 3 years and they are never rude or constantly whining about their job or how busy it is or they just got to their shift. I’m not sure about the front bathroom by customer service, however the one in the back is pretty clean! The gripe I have with that bathroom is the large stall has a child seat, but the straps are broken 👎🏻😑. I don’t always bring a stroller, and my son hasn’t started walking yet, and even if he was I’m not sure I’d be happy with him roaming the stall... if that could be fixed I’d totally give 5 ⭐️
I personally LOVE this Walmart and go here every week or 2. Everyone is so nice and are always ready to help. They have a very wide collection and so many things to buy. It is very safe so you dont have to worry about your security AT ALL. I have bought things here many times and have never had a single card stolen or any problems. I am very proud to have shopped at this Walmart and will continue to shop here. Hope you have a fun time shopping here! (Let me know what AMAZING stuff you got)😃
I had to go for school shopping because I procrastinated with my amazon purchase. I stopped walmarting 3 years ago because Amazon doesn’t give you an attitude. With that being said, I actually might bar the Walmart aisles again at this location. Friendly staff and they actually had people to take my money. Well stocked and they didn’t make me feel like a criminal while shopping like I have experienced at other locations. Great fishing section. Not the best location for hunting supplies though.
Very nice store and staff. The greater up front was taking donations to benefit something in the community. Not quite sure what exactly, but for a major retailer to help out a cause locally is always looked upon nicely. Also nice to see staff helping elderly patrons out to their car in this heat!
Store was bare & rearranging merchadise just causes frustraition trying to find things you always buy that have disappeared or been replaced. Tip: Stock your shelves & the items you always run out of increase overstock for them its more produtive than constantly resetting product isles
Seems to be a little more organized and stocked a little better than the Friendswood store however trying to check out is still a problem with only 3 to 4 cashiers. They seem to be getting rid of cashiers and adding a lot of check yourself out lanes. I will probably go back but not on a regular basis, I prefer smaller stores.
Walmarts...The Barnum and Baileys of retail...Never know what is in store for you from one store to the next. You never know what youll see.. Its a nice store, and the employees appear to all be from planets within our solar system. Some of the customers though...Just the other day I saw what appeared to be a mugworm griplik in the produce section...and I dont even know what that is! It was wearing a mask, and I wasnt after rutabaga anyways so I didnt let is phase me. Yep...Alvin Walmart...better than La marque Walmart any day of the week.
So on this trip to Wal-Mart not everything was a happy face for me. I walked in with a bag of candy in my back pocket . It was opened and I was clearly eating it and whatever. So I go around and collect the items that I need and I go to check out of course there are no cash registers open except for the self checkout lines only. So while Im checking out and I am attempting to pay I had a rude associate come up to me with an attitude and asked if I was going to pay for the candy I was eating in my back pocket? I told her no because I had it before I got here. She then scoffed at me like she didnt believe me and said well see what security says. I then walked out. this Walmart always leaves a bad taste in my mouth either with the rude employees or the no cash registers ever open . Ive even seen it in the middle of the day like around 10 a.m. and theyve only had two cash registers open and a line out the wazoo. Its like this Walmart just doesnt care anymore. Go elsewhere if you ever can thats what I recommend.
The bakery at this Walmart is amazing! I’ve grabbed cakes already made and had some customized as well. Everyone compliments the cakes/cupcakes that I’ve gotten from here and they’re surprised when I say they’re from Walmart! The bakery staff is always helpful and accommodating. Today I picked up a custom cookie cake that was a hit with my daughter’s class!
Used to be my go-to store but after covid this place has gotten a little weird the one thing that I will say is they canceled the layaway program hey Walmart execs people need the layaway program we traditionally tried to pay off some layaways every year to give back to the community and now that theyve taken a layaway away from people I can only imagine its going to make it harder on them for Christmas.
Every Walmart rates well or doesnt depending on how clean, how friendly, how accessible, and consistent inventory. Alvin Walmart fails in consistent inventory. Lake Jackson and League City on accessibility. But all locations in our area are kept pretty clean and most staff is friendly.
Just a heads up. Dont go rushing to get there before they close at now, 8:30 p.m. Even if you get there at 8:15, with time to spare/wearing ur mask and everything, they wont let you in. Even if you rushed like a mad man to get only ONE thing before they close. EVEN if youd be in and out before the small family thats JUST now sitting down to eat in the McDonalds, right in clear view, is anywhere close to finishing. Bad Form Wal-Mart, bad form. whew, vent sesh over
The last several times I’ve gone to Alvin Walmart I had to stand in the checkout line too long! Today I noticed they had put in more self checkout registers. I guess they are trying to do away with their employees to save on their payroll and have customers do they’re own checking out. Not this customer! Oh well! I’ll go to Kroger or HEB where I can get some help!
I love our Wal-Mart. The people, service are good, prices are good. Love Woodforest and McDonalds being there. I have been a little disappointed in the vegetable department. Their sellers need to improve on their produce. I am saddened that some of our regular, dependable employees, older ones included, have lost hours. One regular employee doesnt leave till 9p.m.when she is let to work. I dont like the thought of our older workers leaving in the dark. They are stocking earlier too, loss of hours? It makes it difficult to shop when they are trying to stock. I do appreciate Wal-Mart, thankful we have one.
Still closing at 8:30 and leaving us with no options to buy diapers, milk, essentials, etc after this time if we didn’t realize we needed them beforehand. Extremely inconvenient and unfair to children in need of store-bought essentials late at night, which happens all too often as any parent knows. GO BACK TO 24-HOURS!
Went to Wal-Mart Alvin Texas today to pick up a couple of items for my grandson as well as some office supplies for my office. As I was heading toward the sporting good isle I had a lady coming out of the garden area and said Sir can you tell me where I might find off mosquito spray? I told her there was some back by the fishing supplies and she said thanks. I went and picked up the items I needed and as I was standing in the isle I saw the woman heading to the front without the mosquito spray. I double checked where I knew the Off was then went up front and found the lady who was talking to a number if associates. I went up to her and told here more specifically in the fishing supply area where I saw the spray. A few minutes later I saw the lady again on the other side of the store and she came up and thanked me for directing her to the spray. She said I was much more knowledgeable than the half dozen associates she talked to who none of which knew where to find the spray. Next I went to check out and of course there were only 3 regular lanes open (with 2-3 shoppers carts full), and a 20 or less item lane open. I went in this lane and had my orders separated and had put my work items up there first telling the girl these were separate orders. I also looked down at the bagging area as she was checking me out and noticed the guy in front of me had left one of his bags. I told the girl who stopped, ran and told the guy he had forgot a bag. He came back, they handed him a bag with supplies I was buying and he went on his way. The girl then realized the bag was candy I had bought for the office and picked up the stuff the guy had bought and ran out to the parking lot. I had my card in the machine ready to pay and another associated stepped up and started scanning my personal items and by the time I realized my work credit card was still in the machine she had rang up my stuff along with my work stuff. By this time the original cashier returned with the bag of candy and told the woman they were supposed to be separate transactions. They said well we can take a few of the things off. I said forget it I will pay with my company card and settle the difference with them. Finally paid and headed for the door but the story does not end here. When I got to the door I was stopped by the fraud control wanna be police (since they no longer have greeters), and asked for my receipt (which I do not have to comply with either). I did allow them my receipt and they scanned the bottom bar code and handed me back the receipt. They then picked up one of the baseball items I purchased and scanned it. I said why are you scanning that. They said cause it want bagged (everything else was). I told them they could alleviate this if they had bigger bags. Next they picked up a flavored water and scanned it. After scanning each they never looked at my receipt to see if there was a match. I felt like I was being singled out for some crazy reason. Finally being tired of the game I just pushed my cart to the door and headed for the parking lot. This is ridiculous. It couldnt have been 25 steps from the register to the door but yet I was treated like a CRIMINAL! This store sucks.
I found the employees to be quite helpful and nice to talk to. The ones I talked to did not seem to bring their problems from home to work and be in a bad attitude and act like they just dont want to talk to you. But like all Walmarts the checkout time needs Improvement in some way.
Its an alright Walmart...... Only complaint is that, when you are trying to get help from an employee there is never any one around..... But when you know exactly what you want and where it is and dont require any assistance you find employees every where..... But otherwise prices are sometimes high but fairly reasonable...... Quality of products is pretty good.... Produce is hit and miss but for the most part it is fresh...... They Should make a clearance isle for all clearance items such as clothes ( not just for +sizes......) Damaged products such as Dog food? Expired Can goods....... Etc...etc..... Found everything easily. Plenty of handicap parking. Layout is similar to most stores. One great change is the frozen food section is at the front of the grocery section instead of the BACK. Side note, right turn lane at the end of the road to get back to Highway 6 has been repaired.
Its not what it was. Things I used to buy are not there, the stockers block whole aisles, cans are placed backwards so you cant loomread the label, trash left on shelves. The benchs where Seniors with walking problems could rest for a minute were removed. Getting from the back of the store to the front where you have your check and bag your own purchases can be tasking.
WELL, I REALLY WISH THEY WOULD STOCK THE ALVIN STORE BETTER. ALWAYS OUT OF SOMETHING. ESPECIALLY VITAMIN SECTION. ALWAYS OUT OF SPRING VALLEY FOCUS. NEXT IN LINE IS SLEEP AID ALSO SPRING VALLEY & LIQUID B 12 COMPLEX AS WELL AS B 12 5000 MELTS...& SPRING VALLEY PRENATAL AS WELL AS THEY USED 2 HAVE WALMART BRAND PRENATAL, BUT NOT ANYMORE. THE ONLY OTHER THING IS THEY PUT THE MOST NEEDED ITEMS WAY UP HIGH...TOO HIGH EVEN 4 LURCH. I ALWAYS HAVE 2 ASK A CUSTOMER 4 HELP OR CLIMB...MOST OF THE TIME IF I ASK A YOUNG MAN...STAFF MEMBER THEY HELP, BUT MAKE A FACE & GIVE ATTITUDE. OUT OF NAUZENE A LOT AS WELL. THE WOMENS REST ROOM USUALLY NEEDS ATTENTION. DEBRA WELCH-HUNTER.
Bought tires here and had them delivered here to be installed. Show up over an hour before they close the service center and they turned me away because their manager didnt schedule anyone there late enough to help with tires. Employees were helpful but management doesnt seem to care about customers.
I like this Walmart. Its cleaner and better organized and also cooler than the one closest to my house. We went for just a quick visit and stopped and got a burger at the McDonalds in there. They also have more available handicap parking than my house and Sams is right across street.
Customer service desk slacks on being helpfull.... And never answer customer service phone ive called several times through out day never once have they answered phone...Employess set at check out boths chatting holding up line set in hunting and camping section for 20 mins while they talked before putting back my items from there and left... Alvin Wal-Mart sucks at service and curtise to customers....
I had a dead battery (my fault). I was there over 2 hours after dark & got no assistance from Walmart employees or manager. Very unsafe in this day & time. I finally found a ladder, got my own jumper cables & stood asking for help. Finally found a nice man, offered him the new cables & money. Ill not ever go back. Im a resident of Pearland 58 yrs. Shameful lack of interest for an elderly female in parking lot after dark
I showed up to walmart to have my tires rotated and checked for a long trip I was taking. I came after work because I cant afford to miss time at work. They reported my tires were in good condition. I wake next morning with a flat tire so take it back to Walmart and they said nothing was wrong with it but that I need new tires. Then they quoted a price with extras without giving me options. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager named Daniel come to speak with me. I explained the whole situation and let him know Im missing work because his team failed me the night before with the proper customer service. He offered no discount or courtesy for my many inconveniences. He made nothing but excuses about the poor customer service and told me it wasnt their problem. I am appalled with walmart for having such a poor choice in managment. Im am now out money from work on top of the cost of new tires. I do not recommend auto services at this location as they take no responsibility.
If I could give no stars I would, but I have to give a star. There employees in sporting goods are lazy and rude. I went in to purchase a fishing license, the employee was stalking the shelves. I told him I needed a fishing license and without stopping what he was doing he said his computer was down. Atleast go look before you lie.
Why is it when I go to other walmart supercenters in other towns besides Alvin , the stores are clean , organized , and not out of stock on everything I want to buy . I dont think its entirely the stores fault , I know the patrons of the store have alot to do with it. I dont feel that this store is living up to any standard. That in my opinion starts with the employees. I think I will start doing my shopping outside of Alvin.
Im tired of going there every Sunday morning and seeing 10 people ready to check out and only 1 line open. I shouldnt have to scan my own items and help them do the job theyre paid to do if theyre not coming to my job and helping me do mine.. if things continue Ill start shopping at h.e.b. or Krogers where theyre much more helpful.... Walmart is fine, but it is ugly and dirty inside. Although the prices are beyond great, some stuff was not very good from there own product, Great Value, which I can kind of understand because Alvin is a very poor, cheap city. Also, the bathroom light in the customer service place broke, so the bathrooms are filthy dirty.
Wal-Mart is not thinking about their senior citizens and handicapped when they take away most if the checkers. Many seniors do not use credit or debit cards and many are unable to stand in long lines because of health issues, and it is definitely inconvenient for us to check our own groceries, etc. You will probably loose business.
I was making an online return, and I paid with two forms of payment, my credit card and the walmart pay gift card....they refused to put the money back on my credit card and would only return to a gift card. The majority of my purchase came from my credit card. The customer service manager...Chris told me that it was just money, or better yet...maybe I should not shop online. So I had no reason to complain or be upset. Essentially, walmart is stealing from customers, and forcing them to get a gift card. I tried contacting the store manager multiple times and he would never come to the phone.
Usually too few registers open. Mainly have to use self checkout and if I have to do my own register work why do I pay the same as someone who uses their labor?Have adjusted rating to 1 star due to new covid hours. Changing hours does not reduce chances of covid and just forces more people to shop in a limited time window. Ifcompany wants to short worker hours for profit I am not supporting that company.
I went shopping around 9:30 am this morning. On the cleaning products aisle, three Wal-Mart employees , with a couple of large carts blocking the aisle for the most part, were sweeping out from under the display shelves. They were in no hurry to get out of my way, and in fact made me feel like I was in their way. I have experienced similar incidences like this at this store in the past. Dont understand why they cant do jobs like that on the night shift.
Never enought cashiers around 6 pm. This is when they are needed. The store is over loaded with cashiers on Monday why?Shelves are never fully stocked . The store is only stocked in clothing , electronics and toys. The other departments are missing some popular articles.
Terri in customer service is VERY rude. I’m the only one standing in line at the customer service desk with my infant child and she sees me come up and she ROLLS her eyes and huffs then turns around and acts like she’s going through a box and talking to another employee who’s sitting down and has us waiting for 10 mins. When she finally acknowledges us (by saying “what do you want”) she acts very annoyed that I was even there. Never in my life have a dealt with such rudeness with a customer service representative...
This place is the worst!!! Went and asked the cashier in lawn and garden to page someone to help me in fish. Mind you I waited in the line to ask, he gets on the phone and fulfills my request. Go back to the fish department to wait on an associate to come and help. 10 minutes go back, and an associate cames by. He then asked if I need help, so I tell him yes that Ive been waiting for 10 minutes and that I just need an alge eater. He then tells me to let him find someone. By now Im mad. So I leave my cart and walk out. In the garden section there are no less than 5 associates standing around, and this guy is asking everyone to come help me. They all have an excuse as to why they cant.I seriously dont understand how hard it is to have good customer service!!!!This isnt the first bad experience Ive had at this Walmart. But I can assure you that I will drive 20 miles to get better service!!!
Just relized milk at Pearland Dixie farm road was $3.55 and alvin was $1.98. Worker said Walmarts different by area. As i look around i started noticing the price difference. Alvin saved me $26.00 on groceries compared to pearland fig this one out. Each store regulates each own pric?
I also noticed they did double the amount of selfcheck lanes. I like others refuse to use these lanes. They are doing this everywhere..only had 3 cashier lanes open. Most people who go to Wal-Mart buy more than a few items and its a pain to selfscan. I read Sondas comment about going to Kroger...sorry but Kroger also closes all but one lane to force you to use self check too.

They do not hold true to their return policy they told me they could not look up my receipt even though I just bought the item three days ago and whenever you use big take your ID as for return well if count as a return without receipt so therefore when you really dont have your receipt then you cant return nothing anyways so they suck I wouldnt go there

2022-06-27Ive been shopping here since it opened mostly satisfied. Today most of the frozen food upright freezers were empty! Still had Blue Bell and other ice cream. I asked... delivery trucks delayed...no eta.

2022-04-24My suggestion is hire more friendly individuals for people who stand at the entrance/exits....sad when you take your children to Walmart and they are trying to be kind and say hi and excited about the bags they are holding and proud that they purchased them with their money and only met with someone standing in the middle of the exit not allowing them to pass until they produce a receipt, no conversation with them, only a hand in their face telling them to stop...mind you my children are 4 and 3 (note: I have no problem with showing the receipt it was the manner in which the request was done -it was incredibly rude enough that my children thought they did something wrong)

2022-06-19Visit was okay. Nothing over the top. The door greeters seemed to have gone away and now they are just receipt checkers. The greetings were nice back then

2022-06-20At First I was a little frustrated and confused because my order was canceled twice but I do have to admit sometimes its out of their hands and it happens. I do want to say Thank you very much to the Staff and Manager for fixing the problem and for making sure I was reimbursed as soon as possible.

2022-01-12I like my local Walmart, but there are a few things I wish they would fix........ First I want to say that almost every employee I have ever encountered has been wonderful and kind! My issue is with customer service.Yesterday I went and bought groceries. I bought 2 big cans of formula for my grandson to help my daughter and son in law out (this formula was $49 a tub!!). My grandson has had a hard time with reflux and a possible milk allergy and this morning my daughter had to take him to his pediatrician because of it. They ended up changing his formula again. I dont know the return policy on formula, so I tried calling the store........FOUR times back to back, and each time was automatically hung up on after them not answering for one min. Why have a customer service phone and phone number if nobody is going to answer it! I have been there multiple times and the phone would ring and nobody behind the counter even acted like they heard it. Its like they know if they dont answer the person calling will either hang up or get hung up on. Its very frustrating to have to drive 15 min to the store, wait another 15 min (sometimes longer) in line at customer service just to find out if I can or cant return/exchange formula!!My other issue, and it seems to be the norm for stores with self checkout, there is never enough people working registers!! My local store has quite a few self checkout stations, but then only have 4-6 people working registers. When you have to wait in a line 5, sometimes 8 or 9, people long to use the self checkout, you know they need help! And in electronics, there is always just ONE person working electronics at any time, and that poor person is always getting called to open cabinets/answer questions/assist with something/check someone out. They need at least 2 people working in Electronics.I know it seems like I have nothing but complaints about my store, and I dont really. As I said, almost everyone working there is so nice and helpful, the manager Pat is AMAZING, he is a hands on manager who I always see working on the floor stocking shelves or assistant customers, even cleaning!!! They just need help, more associates working registers and definitely need help in customer service!

2022-03-04I have never had such a sweet encounter as I have every time Ivy is at the bakeryBut this one day she made my whole day so much brighter.I was having a rough day at work dealing with rude people all day, and I had to pick up a cake for my Nephew, for his birthday.I didnt even want to talk to anyone, but Ivy, I believe thats her name, helped out so much. She was so sweet and I just want to say, Im not sure how much shes earning but she needs a raise and needs to be appreciated more. Thank you so much Ivy!!

2022-02-20Needs to get more food plus meat. Prices are very high. Diet Dr. Pepper went up twice in 2 mouth s. Wal Mart has down fast.
