My online order pick up process was a huge mess. First my order was delayed for 3 days . Short staffed understandable. Picking up my product almost as worst experience. Beaumont location doesnt even answer phones at this point. However your team lead Dove in and saved me from the entire horrible process not once but twice. Should I ever decide to come back to shop this location it will be because of Mrs Monique who went above and beyond to rectify both situations. Shes amazing and beyond helpful.
Out of my Better Home and Garden Wax Melts, but this Walmart is my go to placeI bought a very nice OTD Hanging Full Length Mirror and very happy with this purchase. Top of the Line in Price, the two lower priced mirrors were out of stock, but having only one choice it turned out alright
Service was a little slow for me being the only one using curb side pickup (Like 15 min before my order came out). Staff was friendly, I didnt receive everything I ordered. I normally help the staff load my car but two came out this time so I just waiting in the car and I regret that. Got charged full price but didnt receive all my order.
Typical service you might at expect at a Walmart, however they have most things you might need and in a very convenient location. Only reason I cant give five stars is because on more than one occasion the meat section is destroyed by the freezers acting up. No idea if it is poor management or the machines themselves thought. Either way, I will continue to go here and if anything changes I will post it back up here.
Well this was my first time doing curbside pickup , I normally just have it delivered but wanted to get out of the house for a moment. At first I was a little skeptical when pulling up because the parking spot I parked in wasnt listed on the app. So I checked in , informed them that I was parked and waited. After about 15-20 mins, I seen an associate just walking around and seemed lost, so I stepped out and asked was she looking for me. Once we confirmed everything I assisted her in loading the groceries because its was windy and about to rain. She was amazing , we held conversation and for a minute I forgot she was at work. Over all it was a great experience , now its time to put all these groceries up !!
Always check expiration date on products there. Today is July 17th I bought 2 yogurts “oui” coconut flavor yesterday and this morning when I opened it was looking weird, when I check the date it was expired since June 26th. How in the world is it still on the shelves till now 😳. I can’t imagine if it was my kids eaten poisonous food like that cause they are still very young
A few weeks ago, my wife and I were at the Beaumont, Texas Walmart for some grocery shopping. We were making chili that weekend and were getting some Fritos for it. The party size scoops were marked (twice) as being $3.00. When we got to the register (the self-check out one as the lines for the regular lines are always insanely long due to poor staffing), the Fritos scoops rang up as $4.47. We immediately pointed this out to the associate managing the self-checkout area, and she told us she could not fix any incorrect pricing, even though we offered to show her where the price was marked (again, twice) at $3.00. She told us that we would have to go ahead and pay the incorrect price and then proceed to customer service to receive a refund for the price difference.After waiting about ten minutes in the customer service line (there was only one associate helping customers even though three others were just standing around apparently just chatting, so I had my wife go to where the Fritos were to take a picture on here phone of the price being marked twice as $3.00), they were unable to fix the problem either as they said they couldnt change the price because the label saying three dollars--which was clearly under the party size bags--did not specify the size of the bag.Extremely frustrated, I just left without this problem being corrected and without even receiving any sort of apology or anything from any of the Walmart associates. If it had not been the weekend, I would have insisted on speaking to the store manager. Instead, I waited until Monday and called the corporate complaint line, where I spoke to someone who I could barely understand and who could barely understand me. Nonetheless, I described my issue/problem to this person.After a few days, I received a call from the store manager, who, by the way, asked for a name completely different from my own. Somehow, even my name couldnt get recorded correctly. The result of my call with the manager though was that I was going to go up to Walmart the following Monday around four in the afternoon--the manager wanted me to specify a time--to speak to a Stephanie in order to address my problem and frustration.However, upon arriving at Walmart at the specified time and place the manager instructed me, I was told Stephanie was away from the customer service desk. I was asked if someone else could help me, but I replied that I was instructed to ask for Stephanie and that she would have been briefed on the situation. So I waited; over thirty minutes I waited. Finally, I asked about Stephanie and whether she was going to be returning to the customer service desk anytime soon. Basically, I got a bunch of we dont know answers, at which point, I asked to speak to some sort manager about my issue. The result of all this--of multiple conversations in person with associates and multiple phone calls, etc.--was that I was given three dollars cash to make up the difference in price. Absolutely pathetic.
Customer service sucked had no knowledge of what we were looking for so told us the part only came with an entire shower 🤦 lost a sale because I actually found what we needed but wasnt sure how to install it. So thanks to Amazon I was able to order part have delivered in two days and it came with detailed instructions for half the price. Please train your employees. We needed a collapsible water dam for my disability accessable shower. Instead of finding us the help we ñeeded the çlerk said they only sold them with the shower. I almost purchased it anyways when I found it but wasnt sure how to put down and seal. Looked online for help and found Amazon was so much more affordable and instructions were simple. No telling how many sales they turn away by not even asking for someone in that department. Btw ño employees could be found anywhere throughout the store except the few standing at checkouts and ñon were interested in helping us. We had other items but decided to put everything back due to frustration and lack of customer service
It had been a very long day .I had arrived late in the evening . It was quickly approaching 9:00 p.m. People were being there typical selves . You know the kind . The ones that walk right between you and what youre looking at , without saying excuse me . Anyway cutting to the chase . At the store there was one certain employee , at check out , I failed to catch her name .Because of her smile , and attention to customer service . She turned a dreary rainy night into a beautiful sunny day .Carrots , grapefruit , and a bag of ice .P.S. I hope to visit this store again in the very near future
Last night was just like another busy night in the store. Not enough workers and to many shoppers for the load. But the young lady who cashed me out was one of a kind. The one you rarely come across anymore. I was in her line for 16 minutes before it was my turn. I watched the clock and she was done cashing me out and i had my car loaded and headed home 11 minutes after. (Probably took about 6 mins. to arrange the car properly) For the line that was before me, she was fast, efficient, friendly but not to much! And her bagging is just how my mom taught me to do it and similar to some of how i trained myself when I was a cashier at one point in time.. I WAS SO THANKFUL I CHOSE THE RIGHT LINE!! it was her birthday and she actually worked and deserved to earn everything she got blessed with on her born day..! The managers was on registers last night as well and that is highly overlooked. For myself, I appreciate all the front ends efforts to push us out as swift as possible. It’s a hit or miss and lastnight, i caught some good ones! Walmart is and forever will be a headache just like any other corporate business abusing/over working their good people tryna keep as many pennies in executives pockets then the people in the store actually doing the work. Expect the worst when you step in there! Manifest positivity though!
Walmart is more worry about shoplifting than customer service, as prove they are more attentive to check your ticket at the end of your visit than making sure you are satisfied since the moment you enter, There is never shopping carts, thats a problem that makes me want to another stores like HEB, KROGERS AND TARGET
I believe everybody in America has knowledge of what Walmart is by now. They are all universally pretty much the same you have your Sporting Goods and Auto Care and Gardens Center sections along with paint and Electrical Plumbing another craft type sections. Theres also kids clothing adult clothing and then always at a super Walmart you will have a grocery store essentially inside as well and thats what this one has.
I tell you they run a tight ship** around there. The woman manager in charge of getting everybody out of there on time... she got it down.. shes getting you up out of there and straight up 11:00 you best not be out in there any later than that... those people got to go home freaking awesome. Your guys lets have Walmart employees get out of there on time from now 11:00 when they close get your stuff and get out before then. Great teamwork
I brought my 7 year old to get her covid and flu shot. The pharmacist that got it done is amazing. His bedside manners are outstanding. He greeted my child directly, made conversation with her, offered her lollipops and was so kind with the process that we left smiling and my child did not cry at all. Thanks so much to the pharmacist. I dont remember his name but he is a Black man and I think his tag said “manager” on it. Thanks so much sir! Valentina says “thank you!”
Walmart is a nice place to shop for the home and family but those raggedly dusty Beaumont workers are nasty and rude especially them men looking a** women. They play with your pick up orders and delay your items just because they can. I called Walmart customer service and the manager at the local store couldn’t give an answer on why the order was delayed and had to be put off for a whole 24 hours. She rudely hung up on the lady so I had to cancel my orders.The store is fine. It’s them BMT hood heffas that makes the experience bad.. if they don’t like their work. They should have went to college for some better. I pay attention for the fact I would not ever hire one of them things for my healthcare company. Bad and nasty attitudes is not ok for business. (Walmart do a thorough extensive background check please cause I know for a fact some of your BMT workers shoplifts out the store while working there. I seen it with my own eyes with one of your floor greeters lol)
Dirty store and parking lot. Fair to poor service (except very good service in the deli). Great prices and selection, but inadequate and long checkout lines hurt this store.Update February 2, 2022.Went into the store today for the first time in a long time.Store seemed cleaner and better lit than what I remember.Upped my rating to 3 stars.Many shelves were low on stock, or empty, but that is the same as the other local supermarkets.They were out of my favorite deli item, which is why I went in. The deli case was less than half full.Update June 22:The store and parking lot were reasonably clean.
For pick up orders, you’re basically going to get “out of stock” for everything. The employees don’t take the time to look for things in the store and don’t bother substituting items half the time. I’ve had to call SEVERAL times to get them to substitute an item for me. They’re always rude and not helpful. If I had time to go into the store with my 5 kids and actually pick stuff out I would, but there’s a reason Walmart offers pick up now- for busy moms like me. The last thing I want to be doing is calling, talking to managers and trying to just get the things I ordered and paid for. There is 0 work ethic these days and no one cares about doing their job right anymore. You might as well just order your stuff off Amazon or Plan to go shopping in the store yourself. Smh
I found what I was looking for. And I t talk to a stranger for 30 minutes in after he told me that he had no family and no one to talk to so I stood there and talk to him before he finished talking to me he gave me $50 and tell me this is a gift from God thank you for talking to him and for me to have a good day
Sorry As Store for customers.I went to Walmart today and bought a phone and when I tried to activate it there was a problem with it and it needed to be returned to Walmart in Beaumont Tx. When we get there at 9:40 the employees told me there closed and I said your not closed at 9:45pm. They repeated and said there closed and I repeated it was illegal for them to close this early and your dumb cop out from said it was not illegal and I told him yes it is against the law and told one employees she might not have a job tomorrow.
It was fine. Truly not the cleanest Walmart Ive ever been in. I used self check out all went well. It could use some house cleaning and some customer service looked at closely to maybe remind them what customer service is supposed to be about......other than that it was okay....
Love the fact I was able to get my children school supplies with no limits on supplies. Self checkout lady help with quantity which saved me a lot of hassle while controlling the rest of the self checkout lines who needed assistance. I loved the fact I was able to get in and out! She even respected the personal space of my emotional support puppy! She definitely need a raise!!! Mad respect to QUEEN!!!
Overall, I believe Walmart has improved within the years and has a lot of different merchandise to buy for an affordable price than competitors. The only issue that worries me are the self-checkout machines as their bagging area space is small when having larger amount of groceries. Wishing there would also be more helpers than 1 helper at self-checkout during the holidays.
Walmart is always trying to force their Walmart Plus on me every time I turn around. now they appreciate your patronage by telling you you get to go last unless you pay 15 more dollars a month to buy Black Friday stuff... this is a garbage technique to get customers to sign up for your service. I deleted my account upon seeing your actions over Black Friday. years and years and years of patronage thrown out the window because you guys are getting so greedy and try to compete with Amazon which will never happen. Just be happy to be a different store and that Amazon hasnt bought you yet. Walmart has taken a serious turn for the worst lately
I almost left my purchases at the self checkout stand because the lady who was shipped to be monitoring and assisting was instead hanging out with her friend who brought a baby in. I finally had to flag down another paying employee who went to get the self checkout person. The lady looked at me a few times and saw the red blinking light, but couldn’t be bothered to assist someone. The store is otherwise great. I spent more time in the self checkout than actually shopping. It wasn’t even busy.
It is true that there is a price for freedom. Well, freedom is not for sale here. You wont find it at this store.The founder of Walmart, Samuel Moore Walton, would never have wanted his 5 and 10 in Arkansas to become a store that RESTRICTS customer browsing. It is truly a sad era in our country. Samuel was a lover of the outdoors, and encouraged his stores to welcome RVers to freely park in his store lots. Well folks, both of these have been taken from us- the🇺🇲🇺🇲people who shopped in his stores, and built his empire now are policed on WHAT DIRECTION to walk down his aisles, ask for a keyed attendant in order to buy makeup from a glass case, and yet UNWELCOMED to park our RVs in his parking lots. I am boycotting Walmart until this changes. We need American Supported Businesses that represent FREEDOM. Truly a sad day in America.
Are you kidding? We walked in the store at 10:30 knowing the store closed at 11. Five minutes later they announced that the registers would close automatically at 10:45! Causing a mad dash by my husband and I to gather the essential things we needed since we were on the road.
This Walmart is one of the worst Ive ever been in. The employees are more interested in talking on their phones than helping customers. I waited at a locked case for 45. Minutes for someone to open it. Asked 4 different employees for assistance and still left without what I went in there for. On several different occasions I asked where something could be found and was told I dont know . What happened to the days when employees wanted to help the customers.....?
More people standing around then working. I walked the store twice and the answers....I dobt work this department. 4 people taking and all they say is..you just didnt look hard enough!I shouldnt have to... and 15 min. Later they are still standing around talking.....easiest job in the world. Come to work to talk..
It was clean and it wasnt very crowded. I noticed everybody trying their best to maintain social distancing. All of the shelves and displays and clothing seem to be in a neat and tidy order. Nothing was disheveled or messy.The only issue I had, is the same issue that I have at every location; there are not enough cashiers open. And I do not enjoy checking out and bagging my items.
For the love of God DO NOT MAKE AN ONLINE PURCHASE AT THIS STORE!!!!!! Not only was there an uncomprehensible amount of Confusion with a simple pick up order. /online purchase . The computer automatically substituted for an item item which was unacceptable, Charge nearly the same price for said item versus the original was a $4 difference. But 2 and a 1/2 foot difference. If somebody wants a 6.5 tree, and the store automatically makes a decision and runs a purchase for a 4 tree thats not OK. When trying to get the Situation figured out I felt as though the staff was very uncooperative, bothered with Customer care. nor did they truly listen to what I was trying to say. NOTE. A person can tell if one is genuine and sincere and I feel like I was extremely dismissed and treated a certain way. Because of the color of my skin?! or cause I wasnt just gonna accept it,, that they made and were capable of making said transactions, yet actually have the item in store,??!?!?!? I was not being aggressive in the situation I simply stated that it was unacceptable and I would like my Original purchase, Or I would like my Refund. Because they said that it was not in stock they gave me the next best thing and the transaction had already been processed so they could not give me what we originally wanted. Man, In the most Non Karen like, laid back kind of way, I expressed my frustration and wanted my refund right then and there, not wait till the next business day, shoot, watch our purchase get lost in transaction no maam. And loose money,, The entire reason my husband made the online purchase was because he wanted to surprise me by getting a tree early. This will be our 1st Christmas together, Its just Unfathomable, What trips me out is I actually walked to the back of the store got the 6 and a 1/2 foot Christmas tree, smh, actually had to have an associate help me pull the Christmas tree down from the top shelf. Yet the computer and the managers were saying that it was not in stock as the Christmas tree is sitting in the basket right in front of us. Im only one person I could only imagine the amount of frustration coming from other people that have experienced similar situation if not worse. For your own peace of mind try not to do online purchases because it will automatically be substituted for something completely not what youre looking for or what you Originally were wanting. Its sadness.
I know they have cameras monitoring the parking lot, why they cant do something about all of the people who consider the parking lot a good place to dump all their trash is beyond me. It is steadily getting trashier and trashier outside. Inside is fine, outside not so much.
I think its crazy how you post your store closes at 11pm and your closed on Thanksgiving but most of your stores closed at 10:30pm.to me if your hours says something that is when your supposed to close not 30 minutes or an hour before hand.seems to me yall need to find real workers who want to work not go home and make it hard on others.
The customer service skills here are laking and the employees seem to be more interested in their own social life then the customers needing assistance at the self help registers the surfaces were disgusting. Yes we are still in the pandemic. .. I think I will give up shopping here and just go to HEB
Some what clean store, bathrooms could be cleaner but they are not nasty! Latch on handicapped stall was broke so they put a slide latch in its place and its so hard to latch my fiance split his finger open on it no one seemed to care told 3 managers about it went back a few days later same latch so if u go into that stall be careful (mens restroom). Employees seem to get bothered if u ask for help of any kind but its walmart so if u have ever been in any walmart before u probably already know where everything is.
Hard to find anything any more. Disorganized displays. Locked cabinet merchandise and no associates to get it out, to buy it. Checkout only accepted credit cards. No handicap carts. Accosted in the parking lot by a lady asking for money. Bathroom door wouldnt lock. Overall frustrating experience.
I have a hard time walking, so i try to get a scooter.. There is Never a scooter available. The door kids act like its bother to help you out.. i tried shopping, only gathered things that were close by. If i would not had been with someone, i wouldve left. Thats a Big store, why wouldnt there been more scooters?
The beaumont Walmart feels like its been displaced.. from the second you fight your way through the parking lot, you could swear you were deep in port Arthur. As you are ignored walking in, I generally walk with a brisk pace to find my own and get out. Nearly every time, whatever it may be that I need. They dont have in stock. So I stand there contemplating my next move, and the unmarked but horribly obvious security stroll up with a few random items from around the store. They usually hover and peek around corners making sure that you dont get out of the store before feeling like if you touch anything or stand still to long... They will send another. Its by far the most un pleasurable Walmart Ive been to.. and I avoid it at all costs.
This Walmart has a good selection of things and Ive never encountered a mean employee. But thats probably because its hard to find them. I love the pick up, so easy but times are almost always taken very quickly. I would have to constantly check to get a slot in. I always use the self-checkout. The lines are always way too long! I dont see the need for so many registers when they are never used. The might as well fill them with self-checkout lanes.
No problems with this walmart. The store is usually spotless, workers everywhere that arent ever visually bothered when I ask for assistance, big fan of their grocery delivery services too. Forgot my wallet and was able to checkout with Walmart pay from the Walmart app since I had my card info on my phone, really came in handy. Things like electronics, makeup etc.. are locked up so youll have to ask an associate. I know other Walmart dont do this but those Walmarts arent in Beaumont Texas lol..I removed a star because the bathrooms are disgusting and the stalls dont close properly.
I never thought I would see the day when an employee would be openly complaining about the customers looking at the clothes. Im sur that no one else could refold as neat as she folds. I must say that there is a line that shouldnt be crossed. Maybe its over worked and under paid!
How the hell do you close before your posted hours! I walked up 20 minutes before closing and not only do they have the doors locked but you have security turning people away. The store hours are from 7am to 8 pm and it is not 7:47pm as I write a horrible review! Then to top it off every Walmart but this location hours are until 10 pm across the world! What makes this location special???
I bought something from this store and had it delivered and paid for it to be put together the next day. The problem is that they hired an independent contractor and they have rescheduled for it to be put together 3 times and I’ve had to miss work 3 times costing me money and my time.
I’ve been using grocery pick up since March 2020. It used to be great, super quick and easy. The last 3 times I ordered it was ALOT slower (waiting an hour at the pick up spot), but still ok. Today I had an order scheduled for 6pm. Got notified of a delay-ok. Finally got the email my stuff was ready at 715. Went to pick it up. Around 820 an associate came out and took my name and said “we’ll be right back to take care of you”. Fast forward to 920pm and some guy comes out and tells me they pulled him from another department to come tell me they LOST my order. 3.5 hours later for someone to tell me they lost my order and there was nothing they could do about it. If they lost my order, they had plenty of time to re pick it in the 3.5 hours.I will never use this store again. And I encourage others to do the same. The cars next to me waited just as long as I did too. No apologies, no offers to make it up, just “oops, we lost your order, have a nice night”
Everyone was extremely helpful and kind. I forgot one of my bags at the self-checkout when I left the store. And, the cashier that was monitoring the self-checkout registers grabbed it and held it for me. When I went back in to get it she saw me and brought it over to me. I am so grateful for that because I live 60+ miles away from that location and I would have had no way to get back there had I left Beaumont without it. Thank you all so much for even working during the pandemic. If you all didnt go to work the rest of us would not have a way to get what we need to survive. ALL OF YOU ARE HEROES!!!!
Not happy about a good friend of mine was accused of shop lifting basically for being in store for extended period of time. Was looking for a particular and even after asking but never being helped. when your guest is in the far backside of store he most surely isnt running for an exit not to mention had receipts for everything he had on him. Same thing happened to us at another store in texas city. He gave me money to shop and I threw it in my purse a large purse albeit. But was met outside by police....nothing was ever taken nor intended to be taken but I wont return
Like any other Walmart, they are very good since you find everything. This one in specific you find much more, believe me, the sports area is more assorted. The only thing that I didnt like was that the last two times I went, they only have two register lanes open, and of course the automatic ones.
Well lets see where would I start I currently just left the Beaumont Walmart to go purchase a pair of wireless headphones because I ride a motorcycle always break them wired ones because they get snagged on something I went in I saw a pair that I liked and on the prices it said $79 I said okay cool then I go to look end to the other glass container and saw the same pair for a lower price which said $29.88 so I thought to myself well why dont I just get those for a lower price they may have just been refurbished or returned so I called one of them employees with the key to come assist me and I grab the same pair of headphones but at a lower price and go to the counter as Im checking out he asked if I wanted the 2-year warranty for 10 more dollars and I agreed and said yes so mind you it said 2988 plus $10 so anyone who can add knows thats 3988 dollars so he rang me up and it came out to be $117.00 so you can imagine I was kind of stunned and ask for manager as a manager comes by I start recording a video and showing them that the same pair of headphones had three different prices two on the Shelf and one at the register and I said I believe this false advertisement well the manager said he couldnt take $5 off and if you can count everyone knows thats $112 so how does it go from $29.88 to $79 now a hundred and twelve so one of the managers named Byron and I guess thats how you spell it told me that he couldnt help me because I was recording because of the prices and asked me to leave the store as I was leaving dialing corporate office one of the employees that he had asked to follow me outside as if I was going to take something on my way out so I turned around and looked at the individual I kind of laughed I do have a job Im one of the fortunate workers home they call essential workers I do carpentry Plumbing and I also get called out to be one of the First Responders for hurricanes as the ones that hit Louisiana now Im not bragging but I have money I may not have a lot because I have a daughter and take care of her by myself Walmart in Beaumont Texas is not a bad one and that all employees are bad but this one particular person can just mess your whole day up especially with people who dont know how to do their jobs and get mad when you correct them even after being told to leave the store I was in shock and was telling myself wow as if we havent had enough in 2020
Garbage all over the sidewalk going in to the store. We haven’t been to Walmart in a long time and it all came back to me WHY when we were shopping. There were no shopping carts and lots of employees standing around or DANCING (literally) doing nothing. Lines way to long with cashiers that had no sense of urgency to get the line moving. We went there to buy a computer and hoped to talk with someone in a timely manner and get out. A bad experience! Walmart, what has happened to you? Will not be going back!
Everytime I go here its for automotive stuff and its never open. Did they close for good? I love the convenience of the back door to automotive...but not here. The store employees could use some departmental training also. Its in a prime location but business could be better with proper training of staff and fully functioning store.
Experience was terrible at the location. Every time I try to shop at this location I feel disrespected. None of the employees at this location have any sense of genuine customer service. I had my service dog today with me in the buggy coming to Walmart in Beaumont Texas for the first time. I have autism so I dont respond well to people yelling or or talking and allowed derogatory tone questioning me where my service papers are for my dog and that a sign I was unable to see because it wasnt in my area, that the door greater was referring to. Instead of helping me she was just pointing and yelling that my dog which is only 5 months and too young to walk on a leash just yet but he weighs 20 lb couldnt be in the buggy. I feel like this situation could have been handled better and it made me very upset and I wont be shopping at this location again. Im only giving one star because I cant give 0 Stars. Im usually a very positive person but this whole situation really bothered me. Finally my dog and I werent even going into the store. We were just need the dog tag maker which is located before you enter the store between the two sets of entry dogs. ::Sigh:: very disappointed .
Well stocked clean store. Lots of helpful associates. Very busy and crowded but we were able to walk right in to the self checkout area and get checked out and down the road. Busy traffic on Dowlen but we went to the road to the traffic light to get safely across and outta there
Its kind of crowded nowadays so its definitely a place to enter at your own risk. Staff all have masks and respect your social distancing wishes. You will usually find everything you need in the basic area, although I would recommend more Hispanic items. You can find a variety of food, clothing, house items, home decor, cheap shoes, basic pet items, outdoor items, and a variety of toys/collectables. I recommend for a day you have time to shop for a long amount of time, definitely not the best quick shop area, too many things to see!
They might as well say they close at 10:40. As II was walking up to the door at 10:41 to go in for epsom salt only I was stopped by a cop at the front door and told they were closed. When I was leaving the parking lot I decided to drive past the front door and ask why they were closing early tonight possibly because of the holiday. His answer was “no they close the doors early so that they have time to get everybody out.” I thought it was pretty tacky for the store to say they’re open till 11 but not let you in after 10:40. I believe 20 minutes is plenty of time to go get a necessity. My local Walmart in Orange will let you in at five minutes till because they have better customer service. This Walmart doesn’t seem to care about that. Actually I’ve never known any Walmart to deny a customer coming in before the closing hour.
I had an excellent Experience. I went in to have my tires rotated and the Mechanic informed me that I needed 2 new tires. I respected his judgement and purchased them. He gave me very Good advice and also advised me to get an alignment in which I PLAN to do also. At checkout I had an issue with my card and while I dealt with it she was patient and politely took care of the other customers and once I got my card issue taken care of she TOLD me welcome back and we finished the transaction. Thank you Walmart automotive department.
Will NEVER shop here again. Extremely rude lady at self-checkout refused to assist my wife until she backed up six feet from here because my son (who is under 10 years of age) was not wearing a mask. My wife was also walking from her car into the store and a man on a bicycle harrassed her and my son mid-day. DO NOT SHOP HERE! Employees are extremely rude and not helpful.
They are good to shop in, but when dealing with sports and good they are terrible and slow. I will never take my vehicle to get tires done ever again. I went the first time and I was in a standard car. I was there for 3 new tires they blew out my slave cylinder and cost me $800. Then I went for just 1 tire in a standard truck and they took forever so I finally got the tire and someone else put it on. I said never again!!
I have called this store 17 times in an hours time and no one ever answered the phone. I will find out who the manager is and file a formal complaint. I purchased a table and chair at this store and sent someone to pick it up. I sent her the order number and where I placed her name to pick it up. They were rude to her and wouldnt let her get it. I am 70 and I had to get out with the virus going around and drive from silsbee to get the table. Walmart is not what it used to be when Sam Walton ran it. I worked at walmart for 10 years putting my husband and myself through college. Customers used to matter.
This Walmart never answers ANY of their lines even the pharmacy. Good luck getting in touch with ANYONE. I’ve had issues of employees being just plain rude when asking for help, or screaming my business across the store because everything has to be locked up. The Lumberton Walmart is just so much better and I hope this one can get their act together.
This walmart is dirty and unfriendly. There is always a long wait at customer service. Its always messy and hard to find things in the aisles. The associates avoid eye contact so they dont have to help you. And when you do ask them a question they act annoyed and most of the time they cant answer. This has happened so many times in the last 10+ years. There is a much better Walmart in Lumberton.
This place is awful. Bakery very rude.low stock. Bathroom dirty. Hard to find help. Went to this wal-mart again. Ran into a pick up employee. Didnt know what side of aisle to go down. She was on one side and a stocker stand was on the other. She was VERY rude . I will not shop at this store again. Ill go to Lumberton
This place is a joke! The workers clearly hate their jobs. They are rude; they pick and choose who they want to be friendly too, and the shoppers are no better. When your trying to pass they stand there and don’t even try to move. RUDE! It’s always full of people and it’s never clean, boxes everywhere. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else!
Only three cash registers open except for self serve which is difficult for this elderly lady Thank goodness I had a rolling cart fot standing up a long time for me would be dangerous or Id would have had to leave without my groceries bought So no cash registers Very few running carts for we disabled or injured (you need more working ones) Needless to say Im not shopping at Walmart anytime soon !!
It just seems like the Walmart employees are not helpful at all the rude sometimes they just walk off from you like they dont even hear you if youre asking them a question Im disabled and need help at sometimes . And it seems like the store just doesnt have stocked shelves like they used to not happy.
Was walked out by a store employee or manager and they waited until I was buckled and ready to drive off for protection due to a lot of employees getting robbed after midnight. Criminals even have their paydays noted so they rob these giving employees as soon as they cash a check. Something needs to be done to protect the people who so willingly help all of us shop for our entire home and family.
I walk in for batteries... walked out with a couch, 9 dozen cookies, cat bed(I dont own a cat), a pet fish, 13 pairs of socks, oversized hoodie, a loaf of bread, a tie dye shirt, crayons, curtains, spray paint, Styrofoam ball, 4 gift cards, lettuce, a tent, a juicer, blank CDs, rubber bands, envelopes, thread, foot massager, hair bands, bacon, dresser, 3 tires, 7 plants, weed killer, a shovel, bandaids, a penguin 🐧 timer, a skateboard, a Christmas tree 🎄, a 50 foot tall blow up santa, dog slippers, a Halloween card, a for sale sign, light bulbs, 1 wrench, a blow up pool heater, a projection screen, a camera tripod, racecar bed, printer paper, mailbox, multivitamins, foil, 9 rc planes, a stroller, confetti, and 17 mini beach balls... yall have the best salespeople ever! Also I had to go back to get the batteries I originally walked in for...
Rarely do they answer the phones... ALWAYS expect a wait because even if you see 6 workers gathered around talking, a register will NOT be opened. Its always hard to find someone to assist you with products. I know they can do better because in the past, they have. When they do, I will promptly change my rating...
Just spent 3 hours to have a tire changed. The cashier was very friendly but the guys in the bay not so much. Very rude. Wouldnt advise going there when they are busy. Just back away and go somewhere else if you see more than 3 cars waiting. Only giving 3 stars and that is only because the cashier was beyond courteous.
Poor Customer ServiceThis Walmart store obviously does not value customers. Twice I was told that Customer Service counter was closed while the store was still open. The first time excuse was that Customer Setvice closes one hour early and store hours have changed. A couple of days later when I went back, the counter was closed again simply because “the store was busy.”
There was food here and there on the floor. Could never find an associate for help, when I tracked one down, was told if its not on the shelf then we dont have it. I wonder why they even have workers... they apparently get paid to avoid customers and not know anything about where they work, Ive noticed that you can get MORE HELP from the customers than walmart employees! The ppl the in general not just the associates were plain rude. Will not be going back to Beaumont TX store.
Just trying to exchange a battery that I bought last week. Already dead. Its been an hour and I still cant get my keys and leave even though the work was done 15 minutes ago. Severely undermanned in automotive. All the employees are crunchy and angry. Poor experience for all involved. Right now, there are 12 people waiting in the checkout line. I will not be back for automotive work next time. Pay the extra two dollars for my time back.

2022-06-02Watch for wrong prices on signs. Was interested in a lawn mower that had a 107 dollars. Talked a sales associate and was told that was the wrong price, but to go to the front and that they would take care of me. I got to the front and was told I would have to pay the regular price. The CSM came back with a photo of the sign being 197 dollars. I showed there my picture of it being 107 dollars and was told the team leader on duty said he was not selling it for that price. Will not go to this Walmart again.

2021-11-17As always when you shop at Walmart there are many deals to be found if youve got time to look each department has a little something I purchased two outfits and a t-shirt that I liked right off the bat its not hard to do in a store like that the merchandise is so varied if you love comfort clothes nice soft things to keep you warm now is the time to shop also for a little something dressy for the holidays you can get that too.

I’ve frequented this location more than often & they’re still one of my top contenders with: friendly staff, cleanliness, organization & accessibility. I’d give that last star ⭐️ IF the auto department shared their enthusiasm.

2022-04-22The pharmacy staff are really nice. I moved here from 12 hours away and tried to transfer my Rx on the website. It didnt work! Once I got the tech on the line, she was able to help me and get my scripts ready for pick up in 24 hours. I was so relieved!

2022-05-29I ordered curbside at Walmart because HEB has gotten so hard to get in and out of. I sat over half hour waiting for them to bring out my order at Walmart. The young lady was helpful and went to look for my 20 pounds of cat food I immediately noticed was missing. I finally got home and unloaded my groceries only to find that all my frozen food was missing. I called and spoke to a manager, they could not deliver my missing food items, but did refund them. Terrible overall experience.

2022-07-23I shopped at Walmart for years love the items love the pricing but when I went in Wednesday concerning some tires that I purchased online no one could find him no one knew where there was I showed them my online receipt and was told they were return back I call the online they have no idea what theyre talking about cause they said the tires were at the store. As of this date I still have not got my tires

2022-04-19Bought milk. STILL had ANOTHER week. It soured before I could use it all. Ruined a COMPLETE MEAL!!!!! WAS REFUSED to replace the soured milk. I WILL NOT BUY MILK FROM THERE EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! Walmart has really gone down. They dont care about their customers

2022-06-18This Walmart is kinda awful. Things are always in the wrong places on the shelves, so you can never find anything. Theres always pallets and/or boxes in the aisles, so its hard to get to things when you do find them.The cashiers are usually polite, but most of the employees throughout the store do NOT want to be bothered by customers. I get it, theyre trying to get things done, but sometimes customers need help.

2022-05-09For one of the few times for walmart the young lady in electronics 5-8-22 around 1130 was superb. Very helpful and kind. A five star for this young laadyA few minutes later I wasnt surprised to hearA young lady happened to be African american gathering groceries for a customer curb side talking to a friend cussing worse than a sailor.... Several F bombs. Several children around. The store manager needs to have a team meeting and reinforce proper behavior. Not acceptable. A zero for this young female.
