Walmart Supercenter in other cities:
Quoted a price when I showed up. 30 minutes later I was told prices had changed, still within reasonable range so I’m sticking around, but very annoying to have prices change. I was told the wait was about 1.5 hour, well, that was wrong, almost 3 hours later I got my vehicle back. Unsure if I’d recommend this location to anyone else.14 Jan 2021 1327
I do have my ups and downs at times with Walmart, but overall I am pleased with shopping there and within the last three years I have come to trust that Walmart will have quality and reasonably priced items that I routinely purchase, which is why I make Walmart my first choice when I need groceries or other non-grocery items.Walmart has made some errors, but I was also treated more than fairly when they corrected their mistakes, which has endeared me more to their brand. On the negative side, when that Walmart is very busy, you might want to plan on spending an extra 15 to 20 minutes in line at checkout; although during most of my shopping visits I am able to get to a check-out register fairly quickly.
They were out of stock on alot of medical supplies I need for my elderly grandparents who are highly at risk and there is nothing at this Walmart, there are no cashiers at the store and long lines there are limited baby formula which I need for my own SON and yet no body gives a care at this Walmart cause they cant limit the amount of item per customer!!! 😠😠😠😠😠😠 0/5 stars if it was possible I need customer support and human resources to contact to get me to return to this horrible Walmart
I shopped curbside. I arrived and they came out with my 8 items and proceeded to put in the trunk. Thats very un professional. where is the bag. I have to carry these items in the house. I only have this problem at the ghetto as NE store. you have to do better when a person picks an item up it should be in a bag.
Overall store appearance was fantastic. Walmart employees seem to be engaged with their work. However, your contracted security company needs to be a bit more involved in the safety of your customers. When visiting your Dyer Street location in El Paso, Texas I encountered some homeless people on your property, the parking lot who appeared to be conducting suspicious activity and were asking patrons for rides. Shortly, after I told a homeless female that I dont do rides. A car next to my vehicle with its lights off followed me and then turned back. I visited the store again today. I saw employees from your hired security company not patrolling the parking lot but were in front of the store exchanging chit chat. Hopefully the safety and security of your patrons is a priority to Walmart. As you know that there have been numerous occasions in your parking lots where tragic incidents of patrons has occurred. Thanks for consideration and have a nice day.😃😃
Our shopping experience was great. One of the main reasons it was great was because we needed help with an item in the self check out and Ruby came straight over and helped us out. She was very polite and patient. That means alot when employees like her take time and are so kind to the customers.I hope she knows that it means alot.Thank you Ruby!!
Customer services closes at 10 PM but theres like 5 employees not doing anything around it. I bought an inflatable mattress for some guests, took it home and it had a hole in it. I figured I can exchange it for a new one no problem. WRONG! Couldnt do that since customer service closes at 10. I was 30 min late. This place is terrible, Its gone down hill.
Earlier today, myself, my nephews, and my girlfriend had gone to Walmart to obtain several items. In the electronics area, a Walmart employee, named Inez, took it upon herself to explain to us that a phone case would not fit our phones, without knowledge of our phones or what we sought. Just her opinion as matter of fact. We figured to check phone cases while we were there, and screen protectors. So, opting to test a product of the store, I opened one phone case, at random, and tried it on my girlfriends phone. It fit! While Walmart employee Inez wanted to attempt to reprimand me for trying a product. She was rude, and ill-suited to the job she was placed at. She barely knew how to open the doors to the video games and accessories, and she didnt know where anything was for her station. I believe Walmart needs to stop doing this or risk losing customers.
The money service I dont recommend at all. They are currently in violation of Money Transfer laws and procedures for the consumer. When people are receiving money it is usually for emergencies and/theyve lost their wallet. They refused to release my money not even asking if I had a code word because I just replaced a stolen ID. With a temporary along with a birth certificate, SS Card and a valid Federal ID. From VA.The Managers couldnt care less and refused me even after the family member had called them. They are obnoxious, rude. Unhelpful and should have their license for business revoked
They need a new crew for security. Bronson security socks. Especially that short Spanish one. He stares, doesnt help you. Then laughs in your face. The people at the door are useless. Especially that girl with dark hair n glasses, who stands at the door near the pharmacy. USELESS! The ADA needs to check them for never ha5ving those electri shopping carts working & charged.
I have been shopping at this Walmart for 9 months I always get a six pack of the mini margaritas 🍹 I have never not once been carded. Not even in sams club. Today I was carded of course and I dint have my wallet. I GO back to my car to get my wallet and sure enough they dont ask for the ID. Walmart associates please stop wasting ppls time. Just stop ✋️ 😒.
Four years ago I gave this store 5 stars as the service, quality of produce and staff were excellent. As of now, in 2022, I believe this is THE sloppiest run Walmart in the city that is only trying to please a specific kind of customer. Its no longer 24 hours and the staff does less work. The meats are expired with a horrible selection of new name brands that come pre-seasoned??! The produce is all wilted. Even in the packaging. Inflation and corona can’t be the only reasons for the downgraded facility. Even with inflation, the quality products are no longer available. “Great Value” products are nearly impossible to find. And there’s usually only 2 open registers. While out of ten self checkouts available, four are open with lines of people waiting and one worker in a recycled vest playing security for them. Mind you there is amped up security from Bronson as well as police present. Is your goal to make grocery shopping so unpleasant that we’re forced to use the pickup service? ☹️However there’s never, and I mean never a shortage of tortillas. The website said there would be valentines at this location. There were none. I was told by the worker that you didnt even sale them. After showing her on my phone she went and got someone else cause she just didn’t know where they should be.Just all around confused at how a store will such a great reputation for decades can drop in quality so quickly. I’ll be taking my money to Albertsons. Seems they haven’t changed their policies from what is expected of a grocery store in this country. How can you charge nearly $8 for one watermelon??? Absolutely disgusting.
Should be zero stars. Store is filthy, aisles constantly blocked by employees shifting around literal piles and bins of stock, yet somehow the shelves are always half empty and what is available is damaged. That is if you can get to the merchandise at all past the curbside pickup shoppers, vendors and other employees blocking or cutting you off. Used to be relatively nice - by Walmart standards, mind - but new management is clearly incompetent.
I bought a tree stand and a bunch of other stuff and had multiple items outside bags along with the stand. I literally got pointed out by someone to check my receipt. I wasn’t bothered I know it happens. I did give them the wrong receipt at first that was my bad but my complaint is more so how they handle the situation. I’ve never in my life have been treated with so much disrespect. Being accused of stealing and being told I didn’t pay for something when I did. The manager (older male) gave me so much disrespect. Once I said that I really felt disrespected, even though I do understand the circumstances I felt really offended how the situation was handled. The manager literally said he didn’t care. If disrespect is how Walmart wants their employees to handle their customers I’ll take my money to target..
Ill informed management, customer service is definitely hit or miss even with your managers. Some times you have a good rep and other times thats definitely the opposite. Need to take into consideration continued performance and coaching amongst your reps and your management because 85% of your reps lack the basic knowledge of customer service. The way they interact amongst each other should be the way they interact with your customers, management included. What happened to doing your job with pride??? That doesnt exist apparently with Walmart.
This Wal-mart is usually very crowded and employees are rude. Today I went and had an awkward experience. I saw a lunch bag that was on sale for $5.00. I asked the guy at the self checkouts to give me the sale price and he said they werent on sale because it didnt have a sticker. So I had to go and take a picture of the sale label. He gave it to me at the sale price but was annoyed about it. Then he monitored my every move the whole time I was scanning my groceries. Which I thought was very rude.
I just left Walmart highly upset. Buying groceries, and the cashier starts to bag them after scanning and some of the items are heavy or bulky, so I start double bagging them. The cashier stops to tell me in Spanish that they are running out of bags. Now although I may speak and understand Spanish, please do not assume that I speak it, and at least address me in English. As a store, that is not my issue if you are running out of bags. Walmarts bags have gotten so thin that when carrying juice or milk or sodas they tear! So yes, I am going to double bag my groceries! Then to top it off, my dad asked for cash back and she speaks to him in Spanish! Seriously?!!! Just because of the color of someone’s skin, do not assume!! I would rather someone struggle to speak English to me then just speak Spanish. I have to say this is not the first customer associate at this Walmart. I’ve heard some say they do not understand English, so they can not communicate with the customers that only speak English.way to go Walmart!
I really hate the fact that theres no cashiers on this place at any time and any day I have waited up to an hour just to cash out I guess they expect me to do it by myself but I am not going to do that as high as the prices are the least I expect this a full service when it comes to pay
I love this store. Ive been living in the northeast since I got married, we moved far far away from Central El paso due to in-laws 😁 so Ive shopped at this Walmart for over 30 years. And some of the same cashiers still work there, so its like family. Its super clean and very friendly people. Great place to shop!
Very nice and clean. Was a bit turned around since I live out of town. Great prices... even better than the prices at my local Walmart!! Would definitely return when visiting friends in the area. Oh and great price on bags of Top Soil. Found some vey useful items in the clearance isle.
So this is the second time my car got vandalized while shopping. And thats with me parking it 2 spaces away from that so called security truck. Where are those people? You used to see them driving around checking to see if everything was fine all over the parking lot. Now theyre always parked with that annoying light spinning. Sleeping perhaps?
Great location to get in and out of quickly, unless you want someone to help you in the sporting goods. There is never any staff there and the automotive department doesnt have keys to the sporting goods counter. The sign says that they open the auto department at 7, but its a lie. They start moving tires out of the bays at 7:20. Then the first car goes in about 8 am. But if you are not there early, you will be 8th in line.
If I could give this store 0 stars I would! Dont purchase books at Walmart if youre not planning on keeping it or returning within 24 hours. I went to return a book that I purchased 2 days ago. Nowhere on the receipt does it indicate that you have 24 hrs to return a book or on their policy. Spoke to their customer service rep Ruby 2 of their store managers Kristian and Vero. I had to wait over and hour to see their manager Vero because apparently no one knew where she was, I find it weird that the store manageris nowhere to be find on a busy Sunday afternoon and during peak holidayseason. Their return policy posted in their store and online say in big bold letter they have a 90 day return policy with or without receipt. BTW this a screaming lawsuit waiting to happen. Anyway, Ruby took it upon herself to add tape on the book and Kristian expected me yo take the book back in that condition and stuckwith a book that my daughter doesnt want or need. After asking Vero who their district manager was she replied with oh you can call the 1800 number. Very unprofessional for a store manager if you ask me to refer a customer to the 1800 number I did do as I was instructed by store manager Vero and called the 1800 number and writing this review. Extremely dissatisfied with this stores customer service.
The customer service department has a thankless job. They are always helpful to me whenever I have any issues and I am grateful for that. The Auto Care Center has a hard working, unexhaustable team that takes great pride in customer experience. I needed a battery changed one time and even though they were too busy to get to me, they let me borrow the tools I needed to get it done to avoid a wait and a broken down car. I very much appreciate that. Thank you.
I visited this store this evening at around 18:00, and I had the unfortunate experience of asking a rude employee (man 50-70 years old) where I could find a certain type of toy for my two children. This individual responded in Spanish that he did not speak English, and acted like if I was bothering him. Not only did he disrespected me as a human being, but he had the audacity to do it in front of my children. How unprofessional and ethically impolite. If an employee doesnt speak English, management should instruct them to request help from another employee who speaks English. If this man does not value his position, it should be given to someone else. There are plenty of hard working people who could use this position to sustain themselves and their families. The way employees treat their customers is a reflection of management. Citing Walmarts Ethics Treat people with respect, put the customer first, strive for excellence and act with integrity. Perhaps it would be time to do some training to remind, or bring up to date, the whole staff.
Pros:-Good product selection.-Fair prices.-Increased hours of operation.(Cant wait for 24 hour service again.)-Plenty of parking.-Helpful staff/personnel, especially when trying to find an item.-In Store Utility Payments and Banking Center.-Independent in-store franchises like Optical Shops, Beauty Centers, McDonalds, etc.Cons:-They try to force customers to use the self check outs by not having enough cashiers open. And when there are long lines at the registers, they are very slow to respond by calling up more cashiers. It would seem that they are slowly replacing humans with machines.(Too bad because I have read several reports stating that the self check outs are contaminated with bacteria and even fecal matter. Yup, not everyone washes their hands after using the restrooms or even at home.) I personally have never seen the self check outs being sterilized.-Produce, while plentiful, is usually cheaper at other grocery chains.-Many popular items, like Frozen Orange Juice, are not listed on the Aisle Signage so finding them is not as easy as it could be.-They have taken away the scanners that were around in the stores that would tell the prices of unmarked items. (And there are Always plenty of unpriced items!)Resulting in shopping being less efficient/more frustrating for the customer. Conclusion:Even with all its Drawbacks, when it comes to All in One Shopping, Walmart is the only Game in Town! Ill still be going there.
The parking lot is always full. Employees always spray and wipe down carts for the next people wanting to use them. They have hand sanitizer station at each entrance. Some of the employees are great and some not so much. People still hoard toilet paper and most cleaning supplies and bleach. They have a good selection of books but not much magazines like theres no tattoo magazines anymore. Sometimes what youre looking for either is out of stock or its not restocked. Prices are sometimes crazy
Today was a little busier then normal to me, but I was able to find everything I needed. The pharmacy was really busy today. I thought for a moment they were hanging out something for free, lol. I think this has and is a pretty great location. If that changes I will definitely share.
Pros: They have a lot of stuff for different things.Cons: Its a Wal-Mart, people that frequent the Wal-Mart are dirty and pretty much dont take care of the store. The bathrooms are always a mess. There is always people crowding in places where they shouldnt and almost nobody can get help.Again its a Wal-Mart the normal and usual things that come with it.
This store is a mess. I started asking some employees what happen to the store cause it used to looked nicer, why is it a mess? and some employees said that they dont have time to keep their section clean and straight up cause they are always being moved to different sections cause they are short handed employees. I was passing by the store manager and noticed that she is not a people person cause she was demeaning her employees and some customers to.
Its always nice experience at the Walmart super center lines are long but just wait and it out. You can always find what you need at Walmart everything from seafood to produce cleaning products clothes furniture electronic it Walmart has proudly serverd our community for many long years and always gives us great prices in the long run and will be proudly continuity serve you with great quality service and products when in doubt your product main here so stop on by for all your essential needs.
If you guys want to go to a waltmart go to another one. I asked for help to more than 5 associates and the assistant manager but no one could help me. I was waiting in the same place for about 1 hour and 30 minutes because everything keep telling me that someone was coming. When going out of the store the manager asked if someone went to help me, I told him that I waited for more than an hour but he just didn’t care. Not going back, I went to Albertsons and it took them less than 5 minutes to help me. Waltmart was great but I’m not going back.
Husband left his phone in the clothes section. We didnt realize until we were gone and by then the store had closed. When we went back they allowed him in and the associate for that department had his phone safely put away to give back to him. Cant thank them enough for turning it in and more so for letting him come back after hours and get it!
Its not my most preferred Walmart, however today EVERY EMPLOYEE I encountered was awesome. Like extremely nice. I seen some go out of their way for customers, others just so helpful and polite. In a world full of moody covid stressed people, it was nice to have a day where employees at Walmart seemed content and ready to work. Thanks.
Very bad customer service. I overheard an employee tell a customer ask someone else as she rushed by when customer asked her a question about a product. Both customer and myself were puzzled at the employee s response. Why dont you. train your employees to be respectful to customers, knowledgeable about products sold and have good communication skills? Walmarts customer service has been bad for a long time now its beyond bad. I cant imagine why their training isnt better. It was a bad experience watching that female employees rudeness and ignorance. Walmarts employee training has to improve.
WORST WALMART TO PICK UP FROM..THEY FORGOT TWO ITEMS AND NOW I FEEL LIKE I HAVE TO GET DOWN AND CHECK MY BAGS FOR ALL MY ITEMS , WHEN PICKUP IS SUPPOSED TO ELIMANTE ME DOING THAT..WALMART ON MONTANA IN EL PASO IS THE BEST , HOWEVER I LIVE IN NORTH SO THISWALMART NEEDS TO BE MORE VIGILANT IN THE PICKUP DEPARTMENT..NEVERTHELESS I HAVE TO USE PICKUP , HOPEFULLY THEY WILL GET BETTER
The employees here are so friendly! Thank you so much for all your hard work in keeping the store running. Customers so tense and under stress from everything going on in these times you can see them taking it out on some employees. Thank you so much to everyone working it has to be hard working in these times!
Went there earlier today, as we were in self checkout had to swipe several times using a GECU card, this has been a common occurrence at this particular location. There were similar issues at the Neighborhood stores in Northeast and North Hill, but they had a system upgrade and no longer have this problem. Its time for this particular Walmart to do the same.
It is a typical Walmart Supercenter. The store is well maintained and clean from what I saw. They are enforcing requirements for occupancy so there might be a small wait to enter the store. Everything was well stocked for a Saturday and they were very busy keeping up. I was able to find most of what I needed with a minimum of fuss and only a couple of things were out of stock. Overall it was a good experience.
Order was filled accurately with suitable substitutions for those few items that were unavailable. After check in, I had less than a two minute wait before Stephen came out and had my items loaded in about three minutes. My total time there was about five minutes and Stephen was very courteous. Great experience!
Good Walmart to shop at. However, the only disadvantage about this particular location is that everyone from the northeast and even some parts of New Mexico will take away most of the best-selling merchandise. If youre not from the El Paso area and just passing through I-10 Id recommend going to the Walmart at the Hawkins exit.
Terrible customer service. Everyone in a yellow vest will NOT help you at all. They will say Thats not their department, they dont have a radio to call someone, or just tell you to ask at customer service. Took 20 minutes to get someone paged to assist me and another lady that was waiting. I even had to call the store to tell them I was still waiting to be helped.
I really like this store but yesterday was just too much. I know its not Walmart fault but the public seriously doesnt take this covid-19 seriously. Ill continue to go and Walmart is a great store but the northeast has no respect for themselves or the public. Acting like theres not a virus going around and shopping like it was black Friday. I needed to go for some medicine but walked right out. I liked the way walmart used to watch and let a certain amount in and out.
With a godzillian line at the Money Center. The clientele acting rude and saying vulgar things in Spanish. Clientele that doesnt speak English. I got to experience a very sad and real situation. Just as how the light will prevail.Mrs Linda, the Money Center lady with a great smile and a great attitude, going around the counter to help with the pinpad. Trying to comprehend every none English speaker. As they just act rude and scream and laugh and act vulgar with her. But she always kept her composure. Always focused on helping her clientele. Walmart, I hope that Mrs Lindas great effort and flawless work doesnt go unseen. Walmart needs to have at least two people at all times there. I was standing there about an hour and 27 min. But it wasnt because of her. It was because people dont take time to either learn English or they are not patient or kind. Or dont even know what they are doing or what things mean not even in Spanish. Or simply they are in a hurry and thats not the clerks fault. Its the clients fault for being so ignorant and Wal-Marts fault For running a colossal business by saving wages. And by burning out every employee and by having a skeleton crew. Take care of your people. Especially Mrs Linda. A lot of times the clientele, us, is the one wrong. Not your employees. Also to all the ones that act like the center of the universe. I was born in my beautiful city El Paso TX and I was raised in my beautiful Juarez Chi. If you dont speak both languages its because you dont want to. That doesnt mean that you are going to go to China and expect people to speak Spanish when their native tongue is Mandarin. Same here in the US, but if you dont speak English you dont have to be rude. You are no more or less than others. If you are late or are in a hurry its not the clerks fault. Wake up earlier, do it at a different time or have respect ,dignity and integrity.Mrs Linda just like any other human deserves respect. Integrity, kindness, and compassion and thats all she was radiating for her clientele, unbelievably!!Wal-Mart, you cannot know what respect for the individual is without love in your hearts. You cannot know excellence if you dont know what it is to be humble. You cannot act with integrity if you dont even know what respect is.As any other review itll be ignored. Time will erase it from our memories. But I really hope that someone acknowledges, acts and appreciates Mrs Linda. For she like other humans are the light that color others darkness. Thanks Mrs Linda. With love appreciation and respect THANK YOU from The Great Pagliaccio AKA The Beast.
Wife took her vehicle for an oil change. It took three cashiers to unsuccessfully ring her up. It took half an hour in the automotive section before being told to try checking out at another station. Waited in line behind someone who had been waiting for an hour because they overcharged him for an item. Lousy service. Do not recommend.
It is always clean. All members of the staff are great always kind always helpful. And that includes the arms Watchmen. Most things that I want are stocked. And some that I dont want are stocked but I go home with them anyway LOL. Even the customers are super nice to each other.
Normally busy of course its Walmart, but if youre in the NE area, Id recommend this location rather than Dyer & Fred Wilson. This location is better stocked and its alot faster, cashier wise. Not to mention cleaner. Dont think theyre counting people or practicing social distancing. Its like black Friday type busy in there.
To many times have i gotten an item from the shelf listed at one price and at the register the price is way higher! Ive also noticed and know others have that all items especially those needed most during this pandemic have all gone up! Protecting those millions i see it as! A pack of pallmall cigs that was $5.09 went up to over $ 6 bucks in one shot! Your millions are not so important to price gouge people! What a disgrace! A motto of roll back prices went to price gouging prices! Hope your millions crumble
I ordered some merchandise online the other day. It informed me that some items were available for instore pickup at this store. Sigh....we enter the store thru the auto center because it wasnt congested with people in that area. We go to the back of the store where they have the in store pickup / layaway department. We wait, with others, I am not kidding 30 minutes before a young man comes out to give a gentleman his bike. Then he tends to a gentleman that was there before us. The associate wheeled out a 70 inch TV, walk him out all the way outside with his TV. We continued to wait while other associates were passing without asking if any of us had been helped. When the young male associate came back with the TV, he asked us if we were there for a pick up from the layaway. We informed him that we were there for an online purchase and he told us we had to go the front of store to pick up items we ordered. There is not a sign anywhere in this area stating that if you are picking up an online order please go to the front of the store. We suggested to the young man that a sign should be put up with him quickly cutting us off with, there are signs out there in the front. But we didnt come thru the front door. Clearly he didnt want to hear something that could help others in this same situation by continuing to tell us that there are signs in the front of the store. The only reason Im giving you 3 star rating is because the young lady in front was being very polite and apologetic for her coworker actions. As we had informed her what had happened. She didnt seem offended when I opened up the packaging to make sure all items were there. But Walmart, please. I know this is a busy time of the year for you. But if you could take the time to make some signs for every entrance, this would be very helpful. It might help your associates with one less thing to be stressed about.
I love a place that still uses cashiers and not self check-out. I hate going through checkout only to end up with an item not found or some error on my part and having to wait until the one person overseeing us all can get to my stall. Seems the south still appreciates its customers and ensure there are plenty of cashiers.
I am a frequent shopper at this location and i must say it is really nice to have a great positive environment to shop in with my family. The staff is all together great people. I even dropped my wallet once and someone turned it right in so that goes to show that the community is also built on good values and principles. Always clean and quick customer service.
Customer servis..mauh...kinda rude if ya ask me. 5 star due to actually having products we need...furniture prices are crazy for plywood junk...happened to walk through section...saw it & felt bad for the people...there are better, sturdier products for the same price. Ex: $99.oo 5 drawer dresser...
This store is improving their social distancing practices so its a safer place to visit now. They have limited the number of people in the store and it helps with the congestion. I spoke with the management team that was looking at redesigning some of the stores and maybe this store will get some help with the layout so that people can exit more freely. Other than this Covid problem its an excellent store.
Rotten fruit almost every time I go, sometimes even bread and milk (even the soymilk.) They offer W.I.C but dont carry the items theyre supposed too. They dont have the W.I.C labels either so dont know whats W.I.C. You ask the staff they dont know. Neither do the managers. Like do they work there? Employees not sanitizing there stations between customers either Ive seen it many times (no wonder they had to close down twice for having employees with covid-19)
I waited 2 hours for employee to show up at the sporting goods counter on feb 11th so I could buy a shotgun. District manager came to the counter 20 minutes into my wait and left without helping or finding an employee to help. I also called the store and asked to be transfered to Sporting goods 8 times, and asked the garden area to page someone to sporting goods 10 times.Im here yet again at the sporting goods counter to get a fishing license. Got here at 6pm on feb 12 and have asked the garden center to page 4 times and currently on the phone on hold a 3rd time to ask for someone to get back here. 30 minutes into this wait a manager asked me to move out of the way so he could sell an air rifle and yet again did not help me. Waited on hold for 25 minutes to speak to a manager. Took Laura the manager (from another store) less than 5 minutes to get to the sporting goods counter. Laura was great. She stayed with us and called over the wakie to find out who could help and where the people were.Hopefully Laura can whip this store into shape because she seems to be the only competent employee in the building. Finally had an employee get here at 7:05. 1 hour and 5 minutes waiting for a fishing license.
This Walmart is much bigger than other Walmarts I have being to. Its been a long time Ive been to this Walmart. You notice how much more items are at this store compared to other Walmarts. But there is another Walmart far East that is truly a big store I havent been to in a long time. But what caught my attention was a new coffee maker from Mr. Coffee I bought today to replace my old coffee maker of many years. Im looking forward to use this new coffee maker tomorrow. That I know there are only 2 Supercenters of Walmarts one in Northeast and the other one way out on the Eastside.
I normally do not go to this walmart, because I prefer the walmart on the corner of Dyer and Fred Wilson. This walmart is bigger and has more choices in food items. But what I dislike; is that there are fewer lines open. The Customer Service isnt as quick or as good as the one on Fred Wilson either. But unfortunately, my pick up item was sent to the Transmountain walmart; so I didnt have much choice.
People employed here do not know any thing when a customer seeks help they look at you like I just work here, exactly right they should know where things are but no the worker I asked for help couldnt even be courteous to ask some one else to help me find my camping gear. Rather travel to other side of town than to come here.
For some reason walmarts are using one entrance to enter and another to exit. They have these mini police (security service) and powerless employees who suddenly have authority...that enforce these rules firmly. Considering that Walmart and its employees didnt enforce any rules when the pandemic was happening and we had the lockdown...(people were packed in their store like sardines) but they are forceful for where to exit is laughable to me.Anyhow, As we were leaving the store, we tried to leave through the entrance doors, we were stopped by them and told we cant leave through that door. You see My brother is handicapped and we had parked in the handicap parking but they wanted us to walk all the way to the garden area, exit, then in the heat.. walk back to the entrance area where our car was. This is a supercenter walmart.....so its huge. When we told the Walmart employee about ADA regulations she told us, if such a thing exits then you need to contact the El Paso city ordinance and talk to them that she would do us this one time favor but that we shouldnt expect such service next time!!Are you kidding me? Who doesnt know what ADA regulations are? Its that you cant discriminate against a handicap person, that your business must provide easily accessible parking and entrance/exit for them? Thats been in effect for decades! This lady didnt know this! Now you are thinking maybe she was young and didnt know but let me tell you. She looked like she was in her late 30s or early 40. Old enough to know this law. She also claimed that all businesses are required by El Paso city ordinance to do this not just their business yet no other store does this nor could I find any ordered ordinance requiring separation of entrance and exit!Despite that, even if such ordinance exists they have to by law provide a different approach for handicap people. They have to let them go through the same door which is closest to their vehicle which is parked in the handicap parking.Until they change their way I wouldnt and cant with good conscience recommend this store to anyone who is handicapped. PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS WALMART OR ANY WALMART (IN EL PASO TEXAS)IF YOU ARE HANDICAPPED!!!
Decent prices. This store appears clean and well-stocked. Seems to be new or remodeled. This is one of the Walmarts with a huge parking lot and allows overnight RV stays. Convenient location close to the interstate. Definitely a great one-stop shop and rest area if you are on a long road trip since they are open 24/7. Relatively safe location with roving security patrol. Thanks for allowing us to park overnight!
Dont want to deal with walmart? I understand, nobody does! There is a fine El Paso tradition of dreading the trip to walmart, but with online ordering and curbside pickup, that dread is nearly a thing of the past! Youll get a couple if funky substitutions, but hey variety can be nice! In conclusion, go to Walmart, just dont go into Walmart.
Disappointed with walmart while some prices are fair there prices for essential things have skyrocketed being such a powerhouse they should keep prices down & stay open 24 hr. Hours to prevent the spread of of Covid instead of hearing everyone in the store in such a small time frame
Customer service here really blows. I was waiting at self checkout for about ten minutes with the machine telling me assistance is coming. I understand it was busy but the two reps kept passing me to help others. It wasnt that they took forever with them it was the fact other customers that were in line behind me finishing first and they were getting helped was the problem. I even asked for help and they told me theyll be right with me but when someone asked they have immediate help.

The cashiers were amazing and very patient with the elderly customers. I have to say the the McDonalds inside the Super Center is second to none. Every order was great the food cooked the way it should be. The great shopping experience and McDonalds made my visit one of the best ever.
Just visiting and I notice that during the Pandemic, does everyone need to bring their families with them?I have seen people wearing gloves come from outside with them on and then proceed to start touching produce and other stuff. Gloves should be exchanged everytime your surroundings change; you get out of the car, touch food, etc;
I went to Customer service to discuse an order I never got and it supposed to be received June 1, I did not have a confirmation or the order #, they told me there was nothing they could do about it, and they could not cancel the order or put the money back on my card.
Been going here sense it opened, and know where most departments, layout is different then every other store which makes it easier to shop and find out product location. The staff are always curtious, professional and willing to help. Shelves and general store area is always neat and clean. Always keep all items stocked. Unfortunately due to the virus the in some areas the shelves are become unstocked and not restocked but luckly staff are knowledgable as well as helpful in getting you a similar product to your request
I was interested on buying a irobot shark vacuum that was locked inside a showcase. I ask for help to an associate and that lady was very kind enough to send us over the guy that was in charger of the vac area. The gentlemen came and told us that only management had keys to open that he would find a manager to help us. We waiting for about 20 minutes, kept on asking associates for help and everyone just told me that help should be on the way. I even called the store operator from my cell phone to let them know I was still waiting and was told that somebody will be there asap. After about another 10 min my mother decided to go ask for help In the front while I continued waiting in the vacuum section. They told my mom that only management had keys to open that showcase and that they were very sorry. I understand the whole key situation, but what really upset me was that none of the employees took their time to let us know that there were no keys available at the moment. The good outcome was that I stop by at Sams and bought a much better vac for a much better price.
This walmart is very crowded most of the time, very few lines open but plenty of self checkout lines. The place is pretty clean, for the most part the employees are nice and helpful minus the ones at the door and cashiers. Overall not bad, i go there frequently, good prices on TVs. The produce is not the cheapest in town but for the most part a dependable one stop shop.
Meat and frozen food left out in carts in aisles and up front by customers who couldnt/wouldnt stand in half hour or more long lines for self checkout kiosks. Not even one single checkout manned by an actual human, then having not one but two different associates insisting on checking receipts at the doors.Dont even get me started on how all of this nightmare is impacted by trying to shop while disabled in this nightmare.
My experience coming to this Walmart has been great since moving to el paso! Any other Walmart Ive visited has always had staff that dont want to help and seem inconvenienced when asked a question. This Walmart however has employees who are more than happy to help and guide its customers. The enthusiasm Ive been met with by some employees really just makes the experience that much better. I dont dread coming here at all other than the crowds!

2022-01-08I dont work for Walmart and I dont appreciate having to do the job for them. This Walmart has every single register closed on a busy Friday night.. terrible customer service. They definitely need a different manager. I believe Walmart would appreciate knowing that they had 4 5 employees just standing around doing nothing.

2022-06-15I am a regular customer. Today I was so mad because I bought all my meats two days ago 140 of groceries. I bought fresh salmon fillet. I get home super hungry and looking forward to eating. Then, I bite into the fish horrible taste. My mom took a bite and started gagging.I was mad. I go to the store the other meats had a grey color. I decided to take everything back. The customer service people gave me hard time even for a even exchange. I even got a pack of sirloin for 9 cents less and they said they could not 🚫 do the exchange.I asked for a higher manager then she said it was fine but kinda didnt want to. Then I go look for salmon and the fridges are being worked on. Then customer service said they cant help me.then said that maybe I can try out another Walmart so I do and then I call and they said sure I show up and they said never mind they cant because the system doesnt allow the exchange.Worst part I get home and see that the store is on the News for issues w the refrigerators.🤨🙄 its messed up they gave a hard time and they knew it was a issue w the store.

2022-04-20If the store opens at 6, they need to have cashiers available. Some people like to go in and get groceries before the crowds and when you have a cart full and the only options are to check out with the tiny self checkouts by the door, or wait til 7, its a little ridiculous. its really difficult to bag your items, theres no space to place items on the counter so all your groceries have to be placed on the floor until your cart is free. Is it too much to ask for at last one of the bigger self check outs to be open right away at 6? That would be helpful. As far as customer service goes, it would be nice if more employees were trained in it. Ive come across a couple that might be nice and helpful, but 90% of them either ignore you or treat you with disrespect. If theres a greeter at the door then they should do just that, greet. Not pretend like you dont exist. Or play on their phone, or flirt with other employees. Its just unprofessional and rude. Same goes for the security at the door. I know they are supposed to make us feel safe but not when all they do is stare at their phones. Defeats the purpose.

2022-04-16Yesterday I went with my family to find a phone case and a screen protector. I asked Ms. Inez if she would be so kind to help me. She rudely ignored me and my boyfriend had to flag her down. Once she came to the aisle I was in, Ms. Inez rolled her eyes as I asked her which phone case would fit my phone. Ms. Inez quickly replied while not looking to see what kind of phone I have, We dont have any that will fit your phone. I spotted two different phone cases that would and asked Ms. Inez if I can see them. Ms. Inez said, No as she left the aisle. I took it upon myself to open one phone case to see if it would fit and while doing so Ms. Inez yelled at me, claiming that we are not supposed to do that. I told Ms. Inez that I am going to buy it. The phone case did fit and I purchased it. If this is how Walmart employees are trained to be excellent in customer service, I find it very disappointing that their employees make customers want to shop elsewhere and Walmart managers allowing it. This is one reason to lose business and profit for Walmart.

2022-04-29I like the great prices Walmart has I just to agree how you check out. Its 3pm and I dont like using the self check out but it seems that is what they want you to do because there was only 2 cashiers open and I suppose they have more than 20 available registers than remain empty at a time that I think should be maned. Its a big store and for them to have only 2 is hard to believe.

2022-05-01It blows my mind that Walmart can stay in business. You call them, the phone rings, you make a selection, you wait for someone in the department to answer and then the phone call is disconnected. The app does not stay up to date with inventory and offers products that arent available. Most of my orders that need shipping do not arrive on time and the tracking information sucks. I ordered some garment bags, the product title says 500 and in the description it says 500 bags. When they finally arrived 4 days late, there was only 50 bags! Where are the other 450? Now I have to bend over backwards to prove what they sent is not correct! Im so sick of shopping at Walmart and it causing me more work! Im boycotting Walmart! And they say they are hiring yet, both my boys have applied, they havent received any call for an interview!

2022-05-26This is the worst Walmart ever. Too many bad reviews. There is a reason for it. The Managers & employees are lazy & very rude. Their shelves are never full. The place is dirty. This is truly the worst of the worst. They need to do better because other places are much better than this one by sure.

2022-06-27All the COVID and President Joe Biden policies (ESPECIALLY BIDEN) affecting Gas and Diesel production in the USA has lead to many SHORTAGES, on the food shelves (in all the major food store chains) that its extremely difficult to buy many common food items! You cant find the simple things like Vitamins, or even (generic) Root Beer! Its ridiculous, that BIDEN can have such an effect on basic commodities!

2022-06-18Thanks Walmart! I came to your store to buy a computer desk and a 150 chair. Both were up on a shelf. I explained as I would be sitting at this desk and in the chair for several hours a day, I would like to get it down and try it. (The desk wS fairly small. No maam, we cant do that, oh well thats okay for the desk but i really need to sit in the chair. Sorry maam, we cant let you do that. RrallyIll buy the chair at Target. Thanks anyway.)
