We were in the market for a specific truck and after calling numerous dealerships, we were a little jaded with the games and dishonesty. We called West Point Buick GMC and Patricia fielded our initial call. She was incredibly kind and got us all of the information we were looking for immediately. She walked us through our options and then transferred us to Marilyn who helped us through the rest of the sale. Marilyn spent the week communicating with us, answering every question within minutes and working to ensure that we were at the dealership for the shortest amount of time.In order to purchase this truck, we had to make the drive from Austin on a Friday afternoon after our daughter’s camp ended. With traffic, we did not arrive at the dealership until 5:30pm. Marilyn made sure the kids had lots of snacks from the vending machine while we worked on finalizing the sale. We absolutely love our new GMC Denali 2500 we picked up today from West Point GMC! Our salesman Jake Woerner helped us find our truck but due to current environment we had to wait. Jake kept us up to date with information through the whole process and had everything ready to go when we showed up to the lot. We would recommend Jake to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle. When I arrived for my apt my person was not in the area so he was paged. There were 4 others there, 2 of which were not doing anything. Rather than making me wait 15 minutes someone should have checked me in for my apt. After I picked up my truck I found my console and glove box had been sorted through looking for a wheel lock which I told the person that check me in i did not have one. I understand them looking for it, but everything appeared to have been removed from my console and just tossed back in. I use it as a file cabinet and have folders hanging in it. They were just tossed in. They also left a huge piece of plastic covering rolled up in my cup holder and some of my items were left in the passenger seat. No big deal, it was there or randomly tossed back into my console. I have had poor service there before under another service manager. If you look at my history you will see I stopped using your for my service for close to 2 years would be my guess. I went back because of a $20 discount on my oil change via email from GM. Big mistake! The service manage offered me a free detail. I have no interest in driving there and waiting for a free detail when that comes with an oil change anyway. What a joke.
I had purchased a duramax diesel GMC Denali Sierra and my experience couldnt have been better. We were in a month prior to look at vehicles and our sales rep Stephen could not have had better customer service skills as he was patient, funny and mindful of our needs. We left that evening with a Buick Enclave that fit her needs perfectly. So of course when I was looking I had to see what they had to offer and after looking and test driving he worked a great deal for us and I couldnt be any happier.Thank you
I came here for just a regular oil change & it was delivered. I liked that they were not pushy to offer all these “extra” things my vehicle needs like at other places i’ve been before. After turning my vehicle on, I noticed that the notification for the washer fluid being low came on & I got back off to speak to someone about it. Right away, a gentlemen helped me & did it himself, it turned out to be Patrick, the Service Manager. He apologized & made sure everything was good before I took off. Thank you all so much for the great customer service!
The service department was outstanding. They made arrangements for a loaner car while my vehicle was being repaired. Mike Williams in the service department was extremely accommodating and the repair was done in a day. With the supply chain issues that we face today, this sort of turn around time is unheard of. This will be my only dealership that I will use from now on.
Had one of the best experiences ever, the team was awesome making the process extremely easy. Bill was exceptional he is one of a kind. Often times once the transaction is complete you don’t hear back from the salesman but not Bill he followed up even after I drove off the lot in my new vehicle. I would definitely return.
I was driving through Houston and decided to get an oil change. Service Rep Khanh assisted me. He was professional and very helpful. Turns out I needed factory recall work along with oil and fuel filter change. All work was done to my satisfaction. I would recommend this service dealership to family and friends.
Be careful! They are trying to sell a full priced vehicle when it has water damage.I came today to try to purchase a 2018 white Ford Explorer (which is still for sale) and I pointed out that the sunroof was left open and there was water inside the vehicle. The floors are completely wet, the roof is completely wet, the lift gate doesnt work, the front camera doesnt work, the ambient lights dont fully work and its all due to the amount of water it got from these couple of days (since its raining in Houston). We we tried to negotiate the price, they said this is just not the vehicle for you and then they said someone else will buy it at full price.If this is a vehicle you are interested in, beware that there was water inside of it and possible water damage as you can see on the pictures. We will be taking our business somewhere else.
I went in to West Point Buick because I didn’t want to drive to Beck and Masson. I got there at 4:46pm and was told to come back the next day because their service department was leaving at 5, even though they don’t close until 6. I took it back the next day (Wednesday), and I was told that the technician that worked on my type of issue was out for the week, so it would be the following week before my week was even looked at. I left my vehicle there, and was kept up-to-date with the progress of the vehicle through text messages. The service associate I dealt with was Matthew. He was able to get my truck in to the queue on Wednesday and it was repaired by Thursday. The repairs included a side detection error fix and a lifter issue from poorly manufactured lifter springs. I picked up my vehicle Thursday evening and was extremely happy with the quick turn around that Matthew was able to pull off. I wanted to give 1 star because my vehicle is brand new (7400 miles) and I don’t feel like I should be having these kinds of issues on a new vehicle, but this is a service review. Matthew and West Point Buick did an amazing job!
This was a great experience from beginning until the end. I spoke with Michelle on Friday and she was friendly. She got everything set up for me to drop my vehicle off on Saturday. It was a smooth drop off. I heard from Matt first thing Monday and was updated on the progress thereafter. I was able to pick up my vehicle before 5pm on Monday. I appreciate the extra care given to make sure that I was ready to roll safely.

I’ve been trying to find a Yukon and the inventory is so sparse. Robert Morath responded to my internet inquiry and made the process so easy. He even gave me a ride while my car windows were getting tinted. The entire dealership was great. The finance team. Angel who did the training on my car. I had a scheduled appointment for basic service interval (oil change and tire rotation). I expected it to take no longer than an hour (maybe 1.5 hrs if they were running behind). I was told by the service rep at the two hour mark that they were working on a recall for an issue with the infotainment screen not working in extremely cold temperatures by doing a software update. This doesnt seem critical and could have been scheduled for another time since it takes so long.1. I live in Houston, not Michigan (it doesnt get that cold here).2. I did not ask for this and my time wasnt considered before they went and did that anyways.3. I was stuck waiting at the dealership since they no longer offer loaner cars which was supposedly a big selling point when I purchased the car. Sales guy back in February said that Denali-trim owners would always have a loaner car for service visits and priority on service in the shop. I did not experience this at all.

My wife and I found a 2019 Jeep Latitude, called early in the AM and gentleman named Bill Truman Answered the phone right at 9am on the DOT!Said the truck was still available, also said he would have it washed and waiting for us at the front to test drive.Upon arriving Bill came out and introduced himself to my Wife and I. He was very laid back and full of smiles! He provided “NO SELL PRESSURE” and we appreciated that.Took us on the test drive and it went awesome, we decided to take the next step to purchase the vehicle.We had a trade in as well but was far apart on the trade in Value. Bill did his best to get us what we wanted for the trade.So I personally went and spoke to Richard the Manager about our situation and the other deal we had pending. He was very attentive and understanding and listened to everything I said. He Even took his shades off and looked at me eye to eye, “Very Respectful and Personal”. Richard apologized about another incident and said he would see what he could do.10 minutes later Richard come back and says we will take care of your trade in!! I thanked Richard and proceeded back with Bill and he took the Jeep to the back, fixed a sensor. Had it detailed and ready to go!Got to the finance office and OMG Chris Scott was so down to earth durning the process, everything went smooth.Upon leaving, Bill came back to check on us and made sure everything was to our expectations. I purchased a new Truck from this dealership in November of 2021. Anyone buying a vehicle in this time would understand how scarce inventory can be. Once I found this truck I spoke with a salesman who I had to stay on top of through the process which almost caused me to loose the truck to another buyer. (I do not live in Texas, so business was handled over the phone) There were dealer fees that he promised they’d take off, and stated that they wouldn’t let the deal pass with me not wanting to pay, what would be the dealerships responsibility. After flying into town, I was told I could either get my deposit back, and forfeit the truck, or pay the additional $700. After specking directly with the sales manager, i was told the same. I was also told the the free oil change I would normally get courtesy of the dealership would be transferred for me to Little Rock. After the deal was said and done, I haven’t herd anything from the dealer. Beware before you buy.
I always have a great experience at your dealership. Its why I am a repeat customer. I had to be without my vehicle for a week and I was told Hertz could get me a vehicle (as it was covered under warranty). I called Hertz repeatedly for the entire week only to be told there were no vehicles and I would be called when one was available. Never received a return phone call even when I was told one would be available later that day. It was ridiculous.
One of the most pleasurable car buying experiences we have ever had! We are repeat customers and wouldn’t think about going elsewhere. Our salesperson Stephen Oyewale is the best! He goes above and beyond EVERY single time to get us the best deal and we never feel like we are pressured into buying anything. Everyone from the front, to David in finance and Hernan in technology is extremely helpful and genuinely wants us to be satisfied! Price is always as negotiated (no last minute surprises), it’s a quick and painless buying experience and most importantly they are trustworthy. I hardly ever write reviews however I truly believe Westpoint needs to be recognized for everything they do for their customers. You will not be disappointed.
My original experience was great, they were very attentive. After I bought the vehicle I had an issue and reached out to several different people both on the phone and email and never received a response. I finally reached my salesman and he didnt have any time for me, just told me to bring the vehicle in? I dont live near the dealership so I had questions but unfortunately could not get them answered. My issue was my radio was changing stations and making phone calls on its own. Called Parkway Chevy and they explained to me what was wrong, said they had to order a part and would call me when it was in. A month later they called said bring it in and fixed my issue. Will never deal with WestPoint again, all my business now goes to Parkway Chevy!
I went to get my brakes done and my service adviser was courteous and professional and friendly. Thank you, Khanh. However, I was disappointed with West Point GMC that I didn’t get a car wash after the service. From my experience, most dealership would do that for you. Also, I asked Rick ( dont know his last name) some questions about the lifting kit. He said he will call me back. But he never did and he still hasn’t called me back until now.
Booking my appointment for warranty work was quick and easy. Donovan was very professional and courteous in-office, and kept me up to date on the status of my vehicle and the parts that we were waiting on. Eneyat (shuttle driver) was also very pleasant. I would highly recommend WPB GMCs service department for vehicle maintenance.
My wife purse was taken from the truck while they were doing an oil change and her credit card was charged with fraud charges. Also they mess up one of the lug nuts. Fortunately we were able to get a reimbursement on the credit card but my wife’s purse was lost. This is not about how much the items are worth, is about the trust I put on the dealer and there employees.
Very good experience purchasing a Certified Chevrolet Silverado. I was waited on very professionally by Braden Holub. Braden quickly answered every question I had. I was offered a very fair price for my trade in. I dealt with both Braden and his sales manager James Cowger. James and I came together on a price for the truck in a friendly manner. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking at a new or preowned vehicle. Also want to comment on the helpfulness of Angel Nino who did a great job of explaining all the features of my new truck. Everyone here went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my new truck.... and I am.

If you are looking for a GMC truck...then this is the place that you want to do business. Our New Car Sales Associate, Justin Murren was perfect. He walked us thru the entire process of locating the correct truck, the color, etc.. He was very informative but not pushy. Justin made sure that we were informed and he took great care of us. Many people dread the trip into the Finance Department because they are pressured into buying additional add-ons which escalates their out the door price. Not here! We had the pleasure of dealing with the Finance Director, David Le. David is a true professional and got us in and out of there in record time. No pressure from him at all and he got us a great interest rate. Ive had had horrible experiences buying vehicles in the past....but do yourself a favor and go check out West Point Buick GMC. Youll thank me later!!I will edit this review later. But let me say that the Service Department here is lacking.
Ordered a new truck from West Point even though there were many dealerships closer to where i lived. I spent a few days going from dealer to dealer to do something so simple. But like Texan GMC and Beck & Masterson, most were charging 5000 dollars and up in dealer fees just because they could in spite of the hardships their customers were already facing with inflation, the price of gas and food, etc.West Point Buick and GMC does not rob their customers just because they can. They sell at a fair price and that alone in these trying times is enough for a 5 star rating IMO.
I was amazed from the second I rolled up. A gentleman came and opened my door, helped me get my things and led me inside where I was greeted by 2 ppl immediately to ask who my appointment was with. I was prepared to be there for a couple of hours, so I was amazed when my service manager came to me in an hour to say I was good to go. I was so happy! Thank you!!
Our entire experience was amazing. Our salesman Maani was very helpful and along with the financing department the process went very smoothly and quickly. We contacted a few dealerships through vehicle inquiries and Maani was the only one who responded and when the vehicle we were looking for wasn’t available he let us know about one that had just came in and we put down our deposit and purchased that same day. I am very pleased your dealership did not add markup to the MSRP due to the car shortage like other dealers we visited. Everyone from receptionist, the other salesman, the vehicle advisor who showed me all the features on my vehicle and helped me set up my Onstar, and even the service guy who seen us waiting and wanted to check on us to make sure we had been helped and weren’t waiting for service were very friendly. I will definitely recommend our salesman and West Point dealership to our friends and family looking to buy a vehicle and will be a repeat customer if we ever are in the market for another vehicle in the future.
I was never given a report of suggestions my vehicle needs. I know that i need wipers immediately and noone mentioned anything to me. My car was sitting in the front ready to go and no one came to get me. I had to get up and ask if i could go because my car seem to be ready
Update 6/2022: I just saved 2k by going to my local 5 star transmission shop. Instead of trying to rip me off they just need to redo the transmission service that i got 6 months ago at Buick and replace the pan. Thats what they told me I needed after a full diagnostic instead of trying to rip me off like BuickUpdate 6/2022: will not be patronizing the dealership for service anymore. Tired of outrageous quotes. I have been getting every service or repair they say I need but 3 months ago I had an expensive transmission repair and now they are saying I need something else with the transmission and assuming no responsibility. 3k+ out my pocket in the last 6 months only to get another 2k+ quote. Ill be going to my local shop from now on. There have been several issues since my 1st review I just didnt want to blast them. On the flip side, Donavan is who helped me and I honestly think he wanted to help but im over them and GMC vehicles.Original review: I received exceptional notable service yesterday from Pam in service as well as the cashier that has been there for years. These 2 ladies are always pleasant and helpful and really made my experience 1st class. In the past, i had a service issue and the manager reached out to me personally and made it right. This dealership is still top tier in the service dept!
I worked with William in the Pre Owned department and Leroy. Overall the experience was pretty good. Working with Chris Scott in the finance department was awesome, truly knows what he is doing and takes time to let you ask questions as well as clearly and concisely answers yours.
My advisor I had Tom was nice. My only issue was I dropped my car off 7:30am on a Monday to have shocks replaced. They had to order them from Fort Worth and that took days ( couldn’t understand that) so I didn’t get my car back until Friday. Outside of that everything was good.
I had no previous experience at West Point. However, I was treated like a long term customer.The problem was quickly diagnosed and honestly communicated to me. I received daily updates about status. That’s highly appreciated.The repair was done exactly as Bill first described.
Tom provided great customer service when I called to explain the situation with my vehicle, he told me to bring it in, once he he inspected my vehicle, he automatically knew what was wrong, but decided to get a second opinion to confirm, I can tell that Tom knows exactly what he is doing when he provides us with our vehicle care and feedback. Tom is friendly and super professional. I will continue to bring my Buick to this location, customer service is great overall and they provided fast service for my vechile.
Where should I start!? I recently purchased a 2021 AT4 from Stephen “Super” Oyewale. All I can say is this guy rocks. I work for another dealership and was skeptical at first to purchase from another dealer but Stephen makes you feel like family! He was prompt and always responded to all my questions and concerns. Definitely one of the nicest guys I’ve worked with in sales. The whole process was smooth and easy. Also can’t thank Marcus from finance enough. Not only does this dealership not charge the ridiculous Market Adjustment Rate that all other area dealerships are charging, but they also provide impeccable customer service! They don’t try to sell you things you don’t want or need to earn an extra buck!
Steve O. Did a great job at assisting us on a Saturday evening after dealership had closed. He helped us and we felt he was upfront unlike other sales folks we have dealt with. Finance team also did a wonderful job of getting is in and out. I hate purchasing vehicles because all the back and forth. This was a very easy and quick transaction that Im satisfied with!!
I ordered a Yukon through West Point GMC, which was delivered yesterday, and I couldn’t be happier with West Point and, in particular, my salesperson, CJ. I have never had a smoother car purchase. While other dealers were going well above sticker price on the limited in-stock vehicles and special orders, West Point sold me the vehicle at sticker (never thought I’d be happy paying sticker, but these are crazy times). I highly recommend West Point and CJ!

The Pandemic has created a nearly impossible market if you are trying to buy a car. The supply chain issue has definitely made its mark on every car lot out there and inventory is scarce to say the least. We were looking for a reasonable car for my daughter who graduates this year and headed to college 9hrs away, so dependable and reliable was what I was looking for, heated seats and Apple CarPlay was what she was looking for. Funny what teenagers value these days. Anyways, be careful what dealership you go to if you’re in the market because most are starving so bad they will do anything to get you to their lot with low prices and inflated trade in quotes only to find out when you arrive they only offer a fraction of what they quoted on trade-in and have added a $5k market adjustment FEE!! Total deceptive practice and ridiculousness. One dealership showed us $41k as their drive out price for a 2019 Hyundai Tucson that had 30,000 miles - unreal and I told them they should be reported for such practice. All that to say, what a refreshing change when we dealt with West Point Buick GMC! They still lived in the land of reality with fair market pricing, CarMax trade-in price matching, and willing to accept offers and negotiate a deal that worked for all of us. I still had my suspicions though during the purchasing process because that’s where some dealerships try and put the hard sell on you for extended warranties, or some magical fabric protection, or a stolen vehicle locator device, but nope, the finance guy literally spent 5 minutes processing the paper work and me and my daughter were rolling off the lot in her new-to-her 2018 Hyundai Tucson.TL;DR - if you want to work with a dealership who will work with you during these tough times, go to West Point Buick GMC, they are in the car selling business, not the car gouging business like many other dealers we dealt with in this car-buying journey!
I recently saw a truck on line that I was going to buy for my company but I had a trade in and lived about 1hr from the dealership...so I inquired about the vehicle online. Within seconds Shane contacted me! From the first sentence with Shane I could tell he was about business and was very professional. He walked me through the steps of how I would trade my current vehicle, and documents that i would need being that it was all done under my company. His extreme knowledge and passion for his commitment to me as a unknown customer was out of this world!! He sent me a video walk around of the truck got my trade photos from me. I put a deposit on a new GMC. It came in by the latest expected date (12/31). When I spoke to my sales person, Omar Perez, by phone, he was forthcoming with all pricing details. They had one dealer add-on of $399 (VIN etching) that they insisted we pay for, but all other dealerships I spoke with wanted at minimum $5,000 in dealer add-ons and Market Adjustments. So I paid MSRP + $399.00.I made one visit to the dealership and was in and out in about an hour.Highly recommend.
I had 10% off coupon but it was in my truck so asa I paid I remembered so I told the service advisor n she said there is nothing she can do but rather see if they can honor it on my next service. I was not happy about it I taught they will make their customers happy especially when it’s their coupon.
Took my 2019 GMC Acadia for service, and was pleasantly surprised how organized everyone seemed to be especially my advisor Bill. He was very knowledgeable and didnt mind answering questions and gave good advice, but more importantlyI got the impression that he treated my car like it was his own... West Point Buick GMC sold me a 2014 Honda Pilot with an already cracked engine head that went undetected for a little more than a month and the dealership won’t do squat about it. I am devastated without dealer selling such a defective vehicle. I don’t even have the car registered in the state where I live yet amd I have already paid for an alternator because the small engine crack had ruined an alternator that the dealership installed a month prior. I am going to make sure and share my experience with the city of Katy Texas Mayor and Better Business Bureau . West Point GMC literally make me sick. I am a husband a sole income earner for a family of three delivering groceries and medicines for senior citizens amd you save up for a reliable low mileage vehicle and the vehicle needs new engine in a month. Maybe the used car salesmen at West Point Buick GMC willl give $5 dollars to my give send go account to raise money for a new engine. I thought Honda’s were supposed to be reliable. What a terrible experience I have had. I am going to small claims court or mediation on this, but , but the big dealership cares not. Zero stars this to dealership has sold a car as a certified car with a major problem that was cloaked by Honda engine slow to burn. I will have to say beware of a used car from West Point Buick GMC. 😢 what a horrible experience. Who else needs to know this? It is time to notify “car gurus” that the that I found my dream Pilot at #cargurus was shad an engine crack it that cost me $7,000 dollars that I don’t have.

Just purchased a new AT4 Yukon XL from Westpoint. We got extremely lucky and found a new one with all the options we want already in transit. CJ (Christopher Jones) was recommended from a friend and he did not disappoint. The waiting process and GMs shipping was extremely frustrating but CJ always kept us in the loop on progress and called us immediately as the vehicle was being unloaded. The dealership did a great job showing all the new features and walking my wife thru everything. We were in a hurry for another appointment when we wicked it up, but CJ made sure the Yukon was clean and ready, and the finance dept did an amazing job helping us get out quickly as possible. Highly recommend Westpoint and CJ. Hopefully their service dept is just a good to work with.
Found the truck online and looked too good to be true, but goods were as advertised. Their finance department was able to find a lower rate than my bank could provide and my sales agent Bill Truman was attentive and helpful through the whole process. I am thoroughly impressed!
Ever since purchasing my truck from this dealership back in 2019, I’ve been coming back for my regular oil change and I have never been disappointed here. They do the oil change in a timely manner, at a low cost compared to other places nearby and on top of that they’ve always rotated my tires and given my truck a car wash with out increasing the price and or me asking for the service. Oh and they have great snacks while you wait. Lol
Roy in service was great to work with. This is my first time visiting this dealership and I’ll definitely be back! Great communication on his part and very fast turnaround! I had been searching a while to find tires/rims I liked and that were available. I came here after visiting several other places and he came through the same day with his recommendations. Didn’t enjoy my experience. Really wanted to do business but, I had to put in more leg to even get a response after submitting all my info. Got the run around and my info pulled. Seems like a good place but, maybe I just needed to go elsewhere which I did and was taken care of in a couple of hours. Don’t normally leave reviews like this but, I don’t like my time being wasted.
Overall great. Got in to drop it off, the guy taking my information was willing to help me while his coworker was busy. When I came back I didn’t know where the cashiers area was and it took a few minutes for someone to offer me help. I few employees saw me but didn’t stop or get up. A nice gentleman in an office finally noticed and led me in the correct direction.
Matt in the service dept. went above and beyond our expectations! Our only regret was not utilizing their services sooner. In fact, my husband and I could’ve saved ourselves weeks of hassle on the phone with the previous shop and insurance if we had simply started at West Point Buick GMC.

We had a great experience buying at West Point! My family and I had been looking for a new Yukon but with the market being so crazy it had been very hard to even get in and test drive. I found salesman Stephen O. on dealerrater.com and reached out to him and he was awesome to work with! He notified me as soon as a Yukon was in transit, just for the test drive and was great to work with. I ended up ordering a Yukon and Stephen was great at explaining the different trim levels on the Yukon so I never felt like I was being pressured to buy something I didnt need. He is a family man and you can definitely tell that when working with him. Everyone else at the dealership was great to work with. Angel in IT knows his stuff and explained the new technology very well. When we did end up purchasing a vehicle we were in and out quickly and everyone was very professional. 10/10 recommend.

I recently purchased a used car with Harry. He was really informative and helpful and I appreciate him for helping me out with this process. Car buying can be really nerve-wrecking hoping that you’re not being mistreated but I’m really confident in my purchase. I had an issue with my key fob and was able to contact Harry and he set an appointment with the key technician and I was able to get it replaced. I had some correspondence with Robert before coming in person and even though he was out when I arrived, he came later to introduce himself and ask about my experience.
Our salesman, Manny was able to find a Denali we liked. Placed the order and acquired the car within a fairly short period of time. Good job. We worked with Marcus to get the paperwork done and the title transferred. Marcus informed us of all the warranty information and other outside services to be purchased. Clear and concise explanations. All very professionally delivered. We were then turned over to Angel who explained all the features to us and helped in the set up. Super nice guy, also very informative and professional. The staff at West Point get an A+.

This was the easiest car sale transaction we have ever had. We found the car we wanted on-line from San Antonio, called the dealership and got connected with Shane, and he set up everything for us over the phone/text so that we could drive in to Houston the next day. Everything was just as agreed upon and the car was ready to go when we got there. The financing experience was also great and he respected whether or not we wanted the additional offers that they presented to us. We truly appreciated their professionalism and honesty with this long-distance transaction.
I called to request service for Nanotechnology and the customer service in charge of this department told me I had to file a claim directly with nano company before scheduling service. When I called the number she gave me, it turns out I’m not supposed to file the claim the dealership is in charge of this. After I tried calling the dealership 18 times and no one answered in the service department. If a customer can not receive reliable information at the time needed from the service department then there is no use buying nanotechnology at the time of purchasing your vehicle. Don’t buy cars here!!! The service is horrible!!!
Recently purchased a used Yukon from West Point and must say I’m impressed by the integrity of the staff and company as a whole. My vehicle needed repair immediately after purchase and they took care of all the repairs and went above and beyond to make me happy. They spared no expense! They buffed out all the little imprecations, tinted windows, replaced keys, and put a new transmission and transfer case in the Yukon. They could have just said peace out but they didn’t. They even made sure I had a demo car to drive while they took care of all my needed repairs. Shane was my salesman and he did great staying in contact with me with updates. I would absolutely do business with them again and highly recommend them.
I’m satisfied with my purchase from GMC, just not this particular visit for service. I had Pam as my advisor. She informed me that the radio needed an update and it would take an additional hour, so 2 hrs max. I was there for nearly 3 hrs with no update from Pam. I went looking for her several times and she was not at her desk each time. I was left unattended, even though I noticed other advisors updating the ones they were working with. Also the lady at the checkout window was coming in and out of the waiting area to get people to come and check out. All I got was a late text message from her. My Acadia sat out front for almost 30 minutes before she texted me. Why couldn’t she come and let me know like she did for everyone else. My service on this trip was very poor.I dont know what it is. If Im giving off bad vibes, Im not liked, or what. But Im constantly being ignored by my Service Consultant, Pamela Rangel. Each time Im there, I notice other Service Consultants communicating with their clients, updating them about the progress of their automobile. Checking to see if they need anything. I even noticed my S.C. communicating with one of her clients. Im constantly left in the dark. All I receive is two auto-generated text; once when I get there. Then one when my SUV is complete. Even times Ive texted her, I never receive a response. Im starting to feel like, thanks for your money, dont come back. Im seriously considering using another GMC Dealership for service. I definitely will consider that for my next GMC.
Appointment scheduling was easy and convenient. My car was complete before the promised time. No complaints about the service, but I do wish theyd vacuum and/or wash and place paper floor protectors down in my car. Those little additional steps were done with my other vehicles at other dealerships (Mazda, Chevy, Lexus, Ford). Minor things really that just shows a little extra personal service, but it wont stop me from bringing my car back for service here.
CJ was my dealer but he seemed more than that like a friend I’ve known for years he was very genuine and made sure I was leaving happy and that is exactly what I did. He was amazing great customer service he was patient and super professional he answered every question that I have explained to me all the options I had. I apologize for the late response. On Friday, September 3, 2021. I spoke with Tom Ryan about lights issues on the dashboard with my 2019 GMC Acadia. Tom’s character seems to be an old friend very patient and pleasant. He explained that it could be a battery issue base on the information I described. Tom was able to schedule an appointment for me on Tom’s Tuesday on September 7. To make a long story short. My issues were resolved with the change of battery. Meeting Tom was a pleasure the excellent customer service that he demonstrated was amazing. Also, the young lady that waited on me at the end where I paid the bill. West Point GMC is not the closes dealership to me. The dealership that I purchase my vehicle from could take pointers/training from.
Took delivery of a new GMC truck this past Saturday. Brian Crews at West Point, as well as the rest of the entire team did a fantastic job throughout the entire process. Waiting a long time on my side to pull the trigger on a new truck, Brian had a great balance of letting me know when new inventory was in, while not being overly pushy at all.Once I finally made a decision, he made the process as smooth as possible, making sure aftermarket items were done first thing and all paperwork perfectly completed so I basically was able to loop by and pick it up.Only had it a few days but truck is awesome, loaded with more features than I even knew but again, dealer took a few minutes to review a number of the things that were new. GMC Denali HD 2500 Diesel - Highly recommend this truck and if in Houston, very highly recommend this dealer.

I bought a used vehicle. My salesman, Will Martin was amazing. He went the extra mile to help us find the right car. It is rare to get salesman who will actually listens to what you want instead of trying to force you into what they want you to buy. I came to look at a specific vehicle. Since I had a to drive from the from the north side of Houston I asked to have some similar cars to look at as well. He had multiple vehicles ready for me to see including the vehicle I asked about. I want to be clear, Will is the reason this review is so high. I felt like I made a friend and would be willing to go back because of him.The bad...the business office was painfully slow. I had to wait almost 2 hours to spend 20 minutes signing papers. Again Will was awesome and kept checking in on me and making sure I had bottles of water and popcorn. The frustrating part is my wife had to go the next day to sign some papers that should have taken 5 minutes. My wife had an appointment and she still had to wait nearly and 1.5 hours to sign. My wife was frustrated because their was no sense of urgency in the business office to get her out the door. Multiple people were sitting around in the office doing nothing and the one person who handled our paperwork the before had no problem making my wife wait 15 minutes while he took a break to smoke a cigarette. When my wife saw the vehicle, it still had a broken windshield that was supposed to be fixed. Again there was Will making things right and scheduling a mobile glass repair unit to come to us so we did not have to drive back to the dealership.It was a positive experience and I would go back, but reason this is 4 stars instead of 3 is because Will Martin is awesome.
Last week my wife took my GMC 2500HD into the service department after the phone representative promised that a complete diagnostics would be performed for $99 with a 100% guarantee that this would locate the issue I have with the truck. I had a rebuild transmission installed in the vehicle and it was performing great at first. Then my engine light came on. I took my vehicle back to the transmission shop since it had been rebuilt very recently. He ran a diagnostics on it and suggested we take it to a reputable GMC service repair shop as it was having cam bus issue where not all the modules were able to communicate with each other causing irregular issues. This was explained to the service rep who made the guarantee that a diagnostics would be run on it before any work would be started. The first thing this morning, the service department called me, handed the call to the mechanic who started asking me specifics about the new rebuild transmission. I requested he call my transmission mechanic to ask him the specifics so that they could talk specifics and answer any questions. Understand my transmission mechanic is very knowledgeable. The West Point service mechanic declined and refused to make the call to get the specifics. There is only 3-4K miles on the new build transmission if that. He (West Point Mechanic) informed me that he would have to do a transmission flush and put all new filters before he could assess any issue. I informed him that there is an issue with the cam buss communication system as what they were originally told prior to taking the truck into them. They were the ones that give my wife the 100% guarantee that the diagnostics would determine the cause of the problem, trouble shoot and let us know what the repair would require to fix the issue my truck is having, hence the reason it was taken to them. After talking to the dealerships mechanic, I was to call my transmission mechanic and get specific information for the dealerships mechanic. After contemplating the conversations and not understanding why they wanted to start doing things to my truck before the promised diagnostics, I immediately called Pam at the service department and got her voicemail. I left her a message to not have anything done to the truck since they did not do as they had promised. About 45 minutes later, I received a call from Pam letting me know she got my message and that I could pick up my truck but that I owed them $99.95 for the diagnostics before I was able to get my truck back. I am so disappointed that there is such misleading information given at the expense of the consumer. How would I ever want to do business with this dealership from a simple experience like I am having with their service department?
Tom was my Service Manager. Brought my Denali in for a transmission issue. I described the issue to him on the phone. He thought he knew exactly what the issue was just from my description. Brought it in and sure enough he was correct. They fixed it. Texted me when it was ready. Good communication, fast, friendly service and covered under warranty. No complaints. 👍

Dealing with the service department was easy and quick. Also the courtesy car made as I didnt have to call for a ride. The service did a good job with fixing the problem. I am very thankful that they were available and willing to repair our vehicle on short notice as we are a long ways from home and the nearest dealership is 45 miles away.
CJ, Michelle, Martin, David and the whole team did an outstanding job finding me the right SUV. Even though the unit was not on the lot, finding one and getting it to the dealership from the factory took less time than expected. We all hear about the struggles that the manufactures are having with microchips and all those issues being present the flow and timeline for me to get my SUV was perfect!!!

Ms. Pam, the service advisor, was very friendly and I was able to get what I needed done.I was hoping to get something else done to my truck but could not afford the high prices. I will get that done somewhere else.Overall it was a nice place to visit and get to know some of the staff. Clean and good place. I met with a couple of salesmen, had a great conversation. I will re-visit when it is time to get another truck.

I brought the truck in Saturday 9/25. Appeared to be the third lifter failure in 14,000 miles / 9 months. I spoke to the Service Manager, Patrick Clifford, Monday morning about my concerns with multiple failures. He researched it, spoke to his boss, and agreed that evening to replace the engine. I picked it up Thursday evening 9/30. A very satisfactory outcome.
Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Were here in Houston because of Hurricane Ida and needed some routine maintenance done on my Encore. Yall honored coupons from the dealership in New Orleans and were just very easy to work with!!! We would definitely come back again if we needed anything done on the car and are in the Houston area.
Ive purchased a pretty high number of vehicles over the years and West Point was one of the most pleasant experiences Ive had to date. In particular Bill Truman was a phenomenal salesman - super friendly, personable, helpful, and perhaps most importantly, not pushy. He understands that the way to get ones business is by offering help, but avoids overstepping or being pushy, as many dealerships fail to do / recognize. Finance was also a very pleasant experience. Not only was I provided with a reasonable APR % estimate, but they considerably beat it while securing my loan. Talk about service and a quick way to gain ones loyalty - and they now have mine. This was the worst service I have received at any dealership. My vehicle needed an airbag to be replaced due to recall. I also asked them to diagnose the “service airbag” light. The service rep started by not calling me back like she said to get service scheduled. Once they had my vehicle they did not touch it for several days. I got one abrupt text message from the service rep at the end of the second day to tell me they hadn’t started working on it. There was no reply to my requests for status after that. I finally called later on the fourth day they had the car and found out it was done. No contract has been made from the service rep. I was trying out this dealer service department with the recall. They failed miserably. I won’t use them again.
I showed up to their Pre-Owned department because they had the exact truck I was looking for. I was greeted by Harry Tran immediately and he brought it around for me to check out/test drive. Harry was very helpful, very upfront, and I felt that he genuinely wanted me to enjoy the car buying experience. During the walk around, we found a minor issue on the vehicle which their Service Department had fixed before I walked back out of the Finance Department.On the subject of the Finance Department, Harry brought me to Chris Scott, the finance manager, to finalize the paperwork. As I had brought along financing from my own bank, I had a typical expectation that finance would push for me to get extra coverages, dealer financing, etc. However, Chris was straight forward, respectful, friendly, and helped me finalize paperwork in probably less than 15 minutes!Lastly, as I had driven my own personal vehicle and did not intend on trading it in, Harry and a co-worker offered to drive it home for me about 30 minutes away! All-in-all I can say that the service and experience, top down, was excellent and I feel as though this was the type of experience everyone should have when vehicle shopping.

Bill was my service agent and he was fantastic. He was completely transparent and restored the faith when I brought my 2020 GMC Terrain in. This was my first Visit to this site, since my usual dealership could not accommodate my needs. I called ahead to ensure they could assist me and I spoke with Bill in the Service Department. He said to ask for him when I arrived, so I did. I was surprised that he was the person that greeted me when I arrived so I didnt have to wait for him! I needed a new battery and was afraid to turn off my vehicle for fear of getting stuck. He was very understanding, knowledgeable and kind regarding my concerns. He didnt promise miracles, but did everything he could to make sure that everything was properly taken care of to my satisfaction. I am definitely thinking of making them the new service location for my vehicle! All of the staff that I encountered were very pleasant and helpful. Great customer service! Highly recommend going to William and West Point Buick if youre in the market for a new or slightly used car.The vehicle I purchased was 3 years old but was flawless, very clean and seemed brand new. Also very favorably priced. I am so impressed with my experience. I have recommended William personally at West Point Buick to my friends and coworkers. 2022-04-09Excellent service!!.I took my 2019 GMC Terrain to West Point GMC because I had problems with the transmission and did not turn on. From the first call they were very professional and friendly, they do not have towing service but they recommended the one they use which by the way is equally professional and affordable.Donovan Nicholas was the advisor in charge throughout the whole process to which I owe a great thank you because he was always attentive and in constant communication with me. Always took the time and resources to help me with the costs.They also picked me up at my workplace when my car was ready.My car is working correctly and they gave me a multi-inspection sheet along with my invoice.He never tried to sell me any extra services or parts.Completely satisfied! Service, professionalism, communication and price are off the charts!!

2022-01-22Best vehicle purchasing experience we’ve ever had. Robert was great to work with, super friendly, he communicated regularly on the status of our truck we ordered and he made the trade in and purchase process easy and stress free. Marcus in finance was also very friendly and made the financing process quick and easy. Angel finished the process with an overview of the truck’s features and getting us setup with OnStar. 2022-02-20Brian was able to get me into the used car of my daughters dreams all through the phone, texts and emails. After getting most everything completed, drove to Houston and picked up car. Car had been detailed and was sitting proudly in the front of the lot. Took 20 minutes to complete paperwork and I was out. Manager Daniel introduced himself, congratulated me on purchase and I was out in record time. Great car, great price, great service and great staff.

2022-03-25I gave West Point Buick GMC 5 stars for one reason: the great and personalized sales experience we received from Mike Reyna. Mike was terrific to work with, he gave us pointers along the way, and most importantly he had our best interest in mind when selling us a new car. He wasn’t trying to “pull one over on us” and we walked away with a great deal. I trust Mike enough that I would buy another car from him without looking elsewhere. I will say, though, that their sales managers and service department does need some work in the “customer service” aspect of consumer shopping, but I don’t want to ruin a great review for Mike due to other people. To sum it up: “I Like Mike.”

2022-01-14I recently bought a new 2022 Denali 3500 DuraMax Diesel truck. This was absolutely the best car buying experience I have ever had. My professional salesman, Robert Morath was extremely helpful and professional in getting this truck ordered, built, shipped, and delivered to me over a 4 month period. When no one had any trucks, he helped me order a new one, and get it pushed through, in spite of the many issues with the supply chain. He always answered the phone or called me back, if I left a message. He always returned emails and really cared, about making my experience a good one. He was a true sales professional, rarely seen these days, but appreciated when experienced. The financing manager was also amazing and it was also the best car financing experience I have ever had. The finance guy got me a great rate, and showed me all the extra warranty stuff, but did not try to pressure me into any extras. It was a fantastic experience! I am old, and I have bought many cars over the years. It was so nice to have such a great car buying experience.

2022-04-04Calvin is a superstar “buyers” salesman! He listened to me and understood my needs. I received current and speedy information regarding the vehicles we were interested in. When I asked to look at a particular vehicle, he reminded me that it did not have the features I was looking for. He doesn’t try to push vehicles/features I was not interested in. When we asked a question that he did not know the answer to, he reached out to team members for assistance until we were satisfied. We purchased a vehicle from him that we love and we are very happy with his services. Highly recommend!
