The customer service is slipping. As a Lexus dealership, I would expect top level service, and I did not receive the service expected. It took me almost 20 mins to checkout as they could not find my keys and bill - was at the customer service reps desk. Then, I had to ask for the service survey that technician performed on my vehicle. I am doubtful to return to this Lexus dealership.
Been waiting nearly an hour for them to apply a freaking license plate to my car. I called ahead to see if I needed an appointment to get the plates installed, and they said no.Of course, when I get there, they tell me the brackets they have dont fit my ES350 (one of the most commonly sold Lexus cars btw), and they have to take it to a mechanic to figure it out. Then after 50 minutes of waiting on what was supposed to be a 5 minute deal, I finally get my car back, but now its 5pm and rush hour, so Im late to pick up my kids from school. All of it could have been avoided if they took it seriously when I called ahead They should have prepared to have the parts ready. Its just idiotic, Lexus customers expect better service than that.
A week ago, I contacted Lexus Westside Service Center to schedule an appointment for the regular maintenance service. Broston Serio was the one who received my phone call and I only have to say I would like to schedule an appointment for regular maintenance service. Broston amazingly pull up all the information on my car and he was extremely informative, he informed me, what would be the maintenance involved, how how much it will cost, and how long it will take to be done with the maintenance and offered me the option of a loaner car if I needed to and given me 3 options of the appointment I wish to pick to go with. I mean, he left nothing for me to ask. Not to mention, he was very courteous and I thought, oh well, he must be doing this for years and when I went to my appointment, I was so surprised to learn that he is a new trainee. Wow! Lexus do pick best employees who can represent the name and reputation of Lexus. Thank you so much Broston!! The picture attached to my review was only taken today when I went to the best agents Andrew Nagler and Broston Serio to ask them if I can change the battery on my car key. It was done under 5 minutes and when I went to pick up my car, Lexus team already put these disposable plastic wraps around the steering wheel and the transmission stick as Lexuss procedures to protect from the COVID 19. So impressed! Thank you so much!!!
I came to get a state inspection on my vehicle. After an hour later I went to get an update, turns out my car had also been serviced for maintenance WITHOUT ASKING ME. Although I have a warranty that covers maintenance, service person did not take into consideration how much time I had to WAIT. Ive had my previous Lexus vehicles serviced at other locations and have always been informed/asked if an additional service needs to be performed. I was offered a rental vehicle and car drop off as a solution AFTER I had to ask what was taking so long (why not BEFORE?). I ended up being there for 1.5 hours, car was not washed, late for work, and had patients to reschedule. I give 2 stars because I like Lexus and they DO provide quality service, just not this time around.
Hope and Pam gave me an entirely new perspective on this dealership. Previous experiences were far less than stellar regarding customer service. Both ladies were pleasant, patient and professional. Perhaps because theyre women and all of my other disappointing experiences were with men. Who knows? However, if they arent there for my next service, Ill wait or go elsewhere. Great job ladies!! You 2 are the best!!
I recently needed a new windshield due to large crack. I called Westside service and they recommended Joseph Vinay with Dealership Auto Glass.I could have used an after market source but I decided wanted Lexus glass. I requested with Joseph that ALL of the glass stickers would be transferred to the new glass and confirmed with him 3 times, he said it would be no problem! After paying $2K, I get my car back and 2 of the 4 stickers are missing. I inquired to Joseph as to what happened, he said, and I quote You will just have to replace them. Clearly Joseph did not know if the stickers COULD be transferred or not - he simply told me what I wanted to hear, then did what worked for him.
The day of the service was not bad. But what really upsets me, is the customer service rep / Broston, came to me at the end and said that I was needing new tires. My tires were less than 14,000 miles. I said that couldnt be the case. He agreed, he found that to be odd. He said he would talk to your tire specialist. And that the specialist would be calling me. I was never contacted. So after 2+ weeks of not receiving a phone call, I started calling. It took me about 4 different times, on different days to get ahold of Broston. And he said oh yeah, the tire specialist got Covid. I dont know whos going to handle it for you but let me find out and Ill call you back. Then another two weeks came, and no phone call. So I called Broston, and left him on his voicemail that I was upset about the lack of service and follow up. And stated what reminded me was this email still showing to fill out a survey.. Hoping that would prompt him to call me back. Nope. Its been I guess a month and a half, I have never received a call or anything. Extremely disappointed. Im just going to take the car to discount tires; and if I have to get tires, I will go through them.Overall Im more of a person that gets five star ratings.... Im happy to do so.... Im trying to be generous right now with a two-star rating....
This place is huge, almost too. Kudos for providing loaners and general experience. That said getting aligned with a service advisor was a bit of a mess and as usual with a dealership, repairs are never quick. And minor point but communication on status was limited. I received one voicemail before I had to call back.
Our Lexus has been in the shop for 2 weeks after rain leaking from the sunroof, dealership and insurance company both send everything to voicemail and wont coordinate with each other, car only has 6700 miles on it and the electrical system is shot.Lexus should probably locate the computer somewhere not prone to leaky sunroofs, and try to help schedule with insurance when they have a valid claim number.I have not have had these same issues with our Hondas and their dealerships.Update, Service Advisor finally informed me that they had a family emergency, And I can symphonize with a person having family emergencies and while they were out someone was supposed to be taking their calls, and when I would call it would go straight to voicemail, and when I would call the main service line they could not answer if the service advisor was back or not and they kept sending me back to the same voicemail. And yes in my original statement it was pointed out that State Farm had an equal share of blame, but when they said that no-one would return their calls and I had the same problem, I can see where they would say if they dont care... we dont care.BOTH parties were saying Hey... I did my part... I called and now its their turn willing to just play phone tag instead of actually moving things forward. Now we find out that our 50,000 dollar Lexus that has 6700 miles on it is a total loss?... Possibly a little twig blocked the drain channel and got the carpet damp causing the computer to malfunction... And its value has fallen like a rock so since you want 23,000 to repair it State Farm says it is not cost effective to repair.I hope other prospective Lexus owners read this and consider carefully what they are getting into and will make them ask themselves the same thing I am asking myself. Why do I see old Toyota and Hondas all over the road and not old Lexus.. maybe because like old Cadillacs they are good for the first few years, but after the time it takes to pay one off if you have to do any repairs they are throw away vehicles.
The service center was very non personable. They offered me a car wash before returning me my car. Instead of a car wash they left their trash in my car and orange circles drawn on my windshield, steering wheel plastic cover on steering wheel, plastic shifter cover on the shifter, paper floor mat on the floor and their vehicle paper tag in my vehicle. The service write gave 0 explanation on whats going on with my vehicle. They just gave me my keys and sent me on my way. If the work on my car does get approved I will try taking my car elsewhere. Not pleased one bit with my experience with this dealership.
I have been with Westside Lexus for probably close to 20 years. The service is always fantastic. I work with Andrew Tran who is not only a great help, but has also become a friend. My experiences at Westside Lexus service are always great. Im in quick, out quick, always get a loaner. Even when Ive had an emergency, they always take the time for me. I truly would never want to go another service center and we buy all our cars from Clarence Keever and will continue to do so, as long as he works in sales. Hes amazing. He is also a friend, through many years of him helping us find various cars. My life is worry free, regarding my car service. I recommend them highly. I would give them 10 stars if I could.
Bought my car from Shekhar Shroff several years ago and enjoyed the experience. I will buy another car from him when the time is right. The new dealership is fantastic and the staff attentive. For service, Scott Bissonett is the absolute best. Two people who make Westside the only place to buy a luxury car and feel appreciated well beyond signing on the dotted line.
Our sales associate, Edwar Guerrero was very polite, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He went out of his way show us every vehicle on the premises that we wanted to see. We were happy with the final price we negotiated. The process was easy to finalize. I recommend Edwar, and this location.
I’ve used Westside many times for various repair services. They always try to get my car in and out quickly. The waiting area and service reps are very nice. Loaner cars with complimentary gas and tolls are very helpful, too. It’s never convenient to have car repairs, but Westside helps make it less disruptive to your life and gets you going again soon. I also appreciate having my car washed and vacuumed with each service.
Charles Perkins has been my service for several years and has always made the experience fast, easy and enjoyable. I like the service so much that I drive 80 miles each way to get it, and my next car will definitely come from Westside Lexus so I won”t have to deal with any other service center.
I was told my car would be ready in an hour. Ive been waiting 2 hours. When I asked if the guy at the counter could tell me how much longer it would be, he pretended to care but never got back with me. I would have dropped my car off if they would have just been honest about the wait time. I was only here for a scheduled maintenance appointment!
Westside Lexus Service Department has always been top-notch and exceeded my expectations in maintaining several vehicles that I’ve purchased there over the past 15 years... Westside recently completed the new spacious customer waiting area as part of the new building. (See Google photos) Wow! It’s impressive, just like their customer service.
What a beautiful place! All precautions are taken for this virus. Spacing, plexiglass, masks, hand sanitizers, etc. Will was very attentive and efficient. A follow-up phone call was received in a timely manner. Employees at Westside Lexus are friendly, polite, and genuinely courteous. How refreshing during this time period!
DO NOT take your car to the Westside Lexus Collision Center. I got into an accident at the end of October. I usually get my car serviced at the Service Center at this location with excellent service, so of course I wanted to take my car to the collision center at this location as well. BIG MISTAKE. My collision center estimator is Steve Conrad and his communication was horrible from the get go. I was told when I took my car in that I would get a call when an insurance adjuster has given him an estimate for my parts. Waited a week for a call and got nothing. When I called in, Steve claimed to have called me and left a message (which I never got). Moving forward, because I never got that call informing me about my parts (I was being given aftermarket parts which I did not want) and the extra day that it took for me to figure out my parts, it was time to give up my rental and my insurance was not extending. It is now almost the end of November and I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY CAR... there has been no communication on Steve’s part for status updates in my car. The only way I have been getting information on my car is if I called and IF he picks up, returns my car, or responds to my email. I have had to call the front desk on several occasions just to get a hold of him.Save yourself the trouble and take your car to a different collision center or at the very least, ask for a different representative.
I recently went there because my tire caught a flat. They felt out lied to me saying they found metal shavings inside my tire when they didnt even remove the rim from the tire. They added all these things that needed to be done with my car just trying to get money. I confronted them about this and a manager calls me and basically tries to defend them saying they thought I had something that could cover all the expenses as if they dont have computers that they can easily look up and see. These guys are just out for money, dont care about customer service, wont give you honest feedback they just want all the money they can get. Go to Sterling McCall for better and way friendlier and honest service.
I have been on hold over the phone on my second call attempt for over 20 minutes after waiting roughly 10 minutes to ask a question. Please keep this in mind when purchasing a car from this location. I dont understand how this is an award winning service center.Follow up, called the sales department and told them my situation and waited another 15 minutes and the sales department could not get a hold of them. I left a voicemail and we will see how long it takes for them to call me back.
None of my appointment details were conveyed from the person who made the appointment to the service consultant. Karla asked if I was there for an oil change and tire rotation. I responded with I am here for much more than that. Big delay in sorting this out when I needed to leave for another appointment that day - it took much to long to get me out of there in the loaner I needed as they were not expecting me to need one because that was never passed on either.I also am a member of their Tire and wheel protection program which I was sold when I purchased my lexus. They were not prepared for this service and when I told Karla that this was the main purpose for me coming in for service she seemed annoyed. And then she told me on this Saturday morning that they would need my car until Wednesday if I wanted the Tire and wheel service. You could tell that they didnt want to do it. I held firm and said that I paid $1000 extra at time of service to have 5 years of protection and I needed to get it done.I instructed Karla to call me before any maintenence was done outside of the oil change and tire rotation so I could approve or deny the services based on the cost. I heard nothing all day Saturday and I dropped it off at 8:15am.So Monday rolls around and of course they want to sell me a bunch of services that I didnt want so I denied those being done.I called back to speak to Karla my service consultant and they receptionist Joyce transfered me to a Nathans voicmail. Then I called back and told her this and then she told me that Karla doesnt have a voicemail. So I said - can you transfer me to someone who will pick up the phone in Service that can track her down. She then transfers me to another agents phone that did not pick up. Why would I leave a voicemail on any of these peoples phones If I dont even know if they will be in that day or not. Joyce was the rudest Lexus receptionist I have ever spoken to in my life and this is my 6th lexus vehicle - never experienced someone who would not respond after I asked her a question and 30 seconds I am not exagerating 30 seconds would go by and she would not say a thing. I said Are we just going to sit here in silence amazed at what was going on and she responded - I was just going to wait until you were done! - Well 30 seconds of silence has passed so how much more time do you need to realize my question is over - She had the biggest attitude in the world. So I never got transferred to my service consultant and didnt receive a call back for hours later. I then told her the services I wanted and instructed them to proceed.I told her when she finally called me back on Tuesday afternoon that I would not be able to pick up my vehicle until Wednesday at 7am sharp because I had an appt in my office at 8am.So I get there at 6:55 wait for them to open the doors go into pay for the services and then they tell me to wait for my car. I see the car attendant come back and say he cant get the car out because its blocked in. I dont know why this issue was not being dealt with when I was checking out and paying for my service. I had to wait for them to get someone else over there to get my car out. When I received my car it was not washed or vacuumed out at all - nothing was done that normal lexus dealerships do everytime. This experience has got me even considering buying a non-lexus vehicle next year as there doesnt seem to be a Sewell Lexus equivalent in Houston. I would never go back to Westside Lexus again Nor would I recommend any of my collegues to do so.Horrible experience on all fronts
I was not very happy today with the experience at West side Lexus. Usually I have a consultant who is excellent but today, I was unhappy that there was a great deal of confusion when I went to pick up the car and it took much longer than expected. Also I wasnt happy that the car wasnt washed when I picked it up after the service. There are a lot of people that do go the extra mile but today was not one of those times.
Purchased a pre- owned Lexus. My sales experience with Kim Jessee was outstanding. he was very professional, answered all my concerns and explained all the features of my vehicle, which were many, as it is my first Lexus. I received a text regarding a survey, i attempted to complete but I do not do Facebook. He would have received all 10`s. The best buying experience I ever had. Thanks Mr. Jessee.
This time service was so bad. Didnot worked on car for 5 hrs when dropped at 8.30 am,had to come back next day presumably forgot. When I got back next day tire pressure lite coming as it was cold so means didnt checked tire pressure. State inspection is due , guy did not bothered to call if they can do it. This new guy is so bad ,previously cathleen was great, please do not deal with this new guy
Brought in for 90k service. No prior issue for yrs until right after the service was done. Parts of the maintenance, I had them replace the timing belt and transmission fluid flush and a few other things. When brought the car back, it started to make loud squeaky sound. Brought back in, they told its a different belt has a crack which they missed during the full inspections. So adding a few hundreds to the replacement. 6 months later, found a puddle of transmission fluid on the ground which the car is rarely being driven. Has 700 miles since the service. Cleaned up the mess and monitor the amount of leak and found out about a small drop a week. This tells me it has been leaking since the sevice was done. Brought back in, they said it was from transmission pan gasket and transmission mount also need to replace adds up about $1k. Make matter worse, the service advisor named Katherine Arms didnt even care to listen to your explaination or care to explain the issues without losing her temper. She slammed her keystrokes, slapped her pen on the desk as if she has no patience to talk to you. When i made the appointment, i clearly asked for a loaner car so i can get to work, but she made me waited for an hour and missed my work meeting. So two things beside bad service, either they didnt really check your car thorough when brought in for maintenance or they did something to your car or lie to cause you keep spending high dollars here. I dont trust them. Dont bring your car here.
I took my car in for a safety recall, and once I got my car back, I notice the cover for the bottom of my gear shift is broken into pieces. The manager ( i assume ) came to look at it, and accused me of lying and had the audacity to ask me if I wanted a repair estimate. LOL. I bet he wouldn’t have done the same if it had been the same situation with a grown adult. What a joke.
Dropped off my car because the gas gage wasnt working. When I picked it up a week later the valet had all the windows down. As soon as I got in I noticed it smelled like gas. I figured that maybe the valet had gas on himself and thats why it smelled and just needed to air out. The next morning my car smelled very strongly. I dropped it back off and they kept it for 4 days to fix the smell. I understand that sometimes gas gets spilled, what upsets me though is that anyone who got in that car could tell it smelled and they still told me to come pick it up. Its a hassle to go back and forth. Not the kind of service I expect from a luxury dealership.
After receiving a notice from Lexus, I made an appointment for a pre-paid maintenance visit, arrived ten minutes early, and then waited over two hours for them to finish. The service visit turned out to be nothing more than a tire rotation and car wash; as I found out later they only change the oil at ten thousand mile intervals. They did try to sell me a couple of unnecessary services - fuel system cleaning and tire alignment. If youve ever been to a typical Lexus service center, (where they have a full service coffee shop), youll be disappointed with this one. It self serve soda and coffee vending. There where a couple of muffins in a plastic container but when those were gone nothing else was brought out.Since they dont change the oil at 5000 mile intervals and tire rotation interval is also generally considered (by everyone besides Lexus) to be 10,000 miles, I can only assume that the sole purpose of 5,000 mile visit is to sell unnecessary services. It was a complete waste of a Saturday morning, and well below expectations for a Lexus dealer.
1.0 star rating 1/24/20181/24/18: I am 52, and I have been dealing with and driving Lexus cars since they first came out (1 gs300 and 3 Ls430), 1 sc430). After working my job of 30 years, I even sold cars for 2 years and own several classic cars. So my point is I know cars and the cars business. Saying that I must say the service I got form Westside Lexus is the worst I have ever had.I live in St. Louis and found a low mileage 06 Ls430 (50,074). The service history was excellent, the car fax was clean, and it even was a 1 owner car that was regularly served at Westside Lexus. The car was for sale at MBK Auto Group (they purchased it from Westside Lexus.). I had them send me a copy of the title, and was able to find and talk to the original owner, who assured me the car had never been in a accident or flooded. So, since the car was regularly served at Westside Lexus I ask MBK would that take it to them and have it checked out for me. THEY HAD NO PROBLEM TAKING IT THERE.So, my next step was to call Westside and explain to them that I was having the car brought to them, and I live in St. Louis, and to really look the car over for me. So, I agreed to have the a oil change which came with a WORLD CLASS INSPECTION. (Since owning Lexus cars, this is always done and recommendations are given with service).Once the car arrived, I was given a call to let me know it was there, and a day later to let me know the service has been done. I was told that it was really a nice car, and what they observed, was: washer fluid low, next service check brakes, Throttle body is clean, and all tires require inspection next service. I even asked the service guy would you buy this car, and he replied, Yes I would. So feeling good about the car I paid for the service, and notified MBK that the car was finished, and for them to set up shipping. Here where things get interesting........ When the shipping guy dropped the car off it had 51,001 miles on it ( 27 MILES SINCE LEAVING THE DEALERSHIP). When the car arrived it was around degrees, so I let it run for a while and checked it. The first thing I noticed was a burning oil smell. Next, I noticed the cars heat never got warm. So I left for work, and checked the radiator the next day and found the overflow BONE DRY. I also noticed oil spots in my drive way. So, now Im getting worried. So I called the Lexus dealer here and set up an appointment (could not get me in for a week). I noticed it was leaking oil pretty bad (Made a mess of my driveway). So I watched the oil level closely, and waited for my appointment day.Since I would need a safety inspection I told them to go ahead and do it (this is the same inspection and printout that should have been done at Westside.) After looking over the car they called me into the service area and this it what they found: (I video recorded everything)1) Replace right front lower control arm bushings $5972)Found both valve cover gaskets leaking $6003)Hood struts no longer supporting the weight of hood $468.884) Recommend timing belt and water pump based on manufacture standards regarding Time. $15255)Replace front and rear brakes $437.00 x26)Found coolant reservoir/radiator low7) FOUND DRAIN PLUG TO BE FINGER TIGHT AND LEAKING OIL.All together $4438.79 Now if they would have did what the Lexus Dealership did here in St. Louis I would have had the option of backing out of the deal, get the car at a reduced price, or have the selling dealership fix the problems.
Been going to this dealership for years and they never cease to amaze me on how nice it is to own a LEXUS and a quality dealership to deal with genuine people who actually careGo see Jacob Hershman in Service and his Boss Mike Lorch they will make sure that your taken care properly
I owned a 2013 GS 350 with less than 37000 miles. I bought it used from WS Lexus with an extended 3 year warranty (thankfully), and had nothing but engine problems with the car shortly after driving it off the lot. After having it repaired 3 times at WS, and never driving the car anywhere but back and forth to work here in Houston, I had to drive the car to west Texas for a funeral. I took the car to WS and asked the service department to throughly check the car, including the parts that had been repaired in the past, explaining that I had to drive the car on an extended trip out of town. Long story short, the car broke down approximately 35 miles outside of SanAntonio, I was towed in to the Lexus Dealership in SA and given a loner vehicle to continue my trip to west Texas, had to return to Houston Texas in the loaner car because my GS 350 could not be repaired during the time I was in west Texas. Approximately 7 days later I was called by the SA Lexus Dealership and told that my car was repaired and ready for pick up. I was advised that my engine had been rebuilt and that the original problem with the engine had not been repaired in the first place. I do not recommend doing business with WS Lexus. I believe they knew the car was a lemon when they sold it to me. I am fortunate that it was still under warranty the 4th time it broke down.
The 2010 HS250h Safety Recall FlawThe safety recall work caused non-recoverable damages to the rear tires of my 2010 HS250h. Toronto Lexus told me that the damages to the tires were due to the misalignment by Westside Lexus. Lexus USA only reimbursed me a small portion of the total repair cost (redo of recall work + 4 new tires). Neither Lexus USA nor Westside Lexus paid for the damages on the tires due to the recall work.

2022-04-16This is how good service looks like!I did not have to fill out any paperwork. They had the info already and pulled it up quickly. Polite, professional and ready-to-service staff, nice waiting area, quick service... a single signature is all I had to do, in to out.Well done Westsiden Lexus. It was refreshing to work with your team.

2021-07-26I just come in for my first services. Everyone was super nice and the waiting area was nice. When I got my vehicle back it was scratched and my wheel was chipped. I brought it up toMy service rep initially he said that he would take care of it. No issues accidents happen but then he comes back and tells me that they cannot help me since a rock chip. Judge for yourself. My advice do a walk around your vehicle with the tech to identify any damages before they take your car into the bay so you don’t have to prove to them that they caused the damages and blame it on rock chip or your driving habits. I am ocd and to a walk around my vehicle everyday and I usually do a walk around but I trusted Lexus services since I had a great buying experience.🤦🏻♂️

2022-07-14I’ve taken my Lexus here twice now and the experience for each time was negative. This most recent time, I took my vehicle for a repair to the housing of my key. Despite an appointment I was there for almost three hours. To add insult to injury, my repair was invoiced and paid for, but they failed to call my name with the key despite asking them multiple times if it was complete. It wasn’t until I asked them to check on the status of the key repair that they found the key in a drawer. Inexcusable.

2022-07-07I am receiving marketing mail from Westside Lexus even after Michael Lorch said it would stop months ago. Please remove me from your mailing list. Sterling McCall Lexus is where I get my car serviced as their services are far more superior. Thank you.

2022-01-26The location is beautiful and the staff are simply amazing! They treat you like you are famous almost lol but no seriously everyone was very kind and helpful. They did a superb job on the car wash also which I must add a way better job than the Memphis TN location, my car was shining on a cloudy day. Service was fast and everything done was explained and quoted. Thank you all for welcoming me to HTX!

2022-02-28We loved the service provided by our salesman Kalvin. He was very knowledgeable and most important not pushy and trying to tell us what to buy, he allowed us to look around and explore different vehicles. Loved his customer service! ❤️

2022-01-18This service center continues to disappoint me. Even on a second opinion of other mechanics, they continue to hide behind ridiculous specifications supposedly issued by Lexus. My car was leaning 1 inch to the side, and I was told that does not fall under my warranty. I was told its within specification. This is a $100,000 vehicle, and they treated me with very little respect or empathy. I was told they will not repair it. Or that I could wait for someone to come in from out of town and give me a second opinion. Factory technicians arent always around apparently. My opinion of Westside Lexus is very low in particular their service center. I will not be back, nor will I be shopping with them in the future for new cars.

2021-12-11Excellent service at the Westside Lexus location! I had an issue with my brakes and Brian was very helpful throughout the whole process. While the diagnostics were being completed, I worked from their beautiful lobby which had great WiFi and free coffee. Once the issue was identified, they provided a loaner vehicle so I could go home while the repair was taking place. They even wash your car before pick-up! A great experience overall. Thanks, Brian and the Westside Lexus team!

2022-07-16Jeremy Reardon is awesome! Treated me very professional and made it seem like I was his only priority for the day!
