I ordered a Dr Pepper shake. The lady that took my order came to the window and said chocolate shake. I said I ordered Dr Pepper and she said “oh my bad Dr Pepper shake” I taste the shake and it’s chocolate. I proceeded to tell her that the shake is a chocolate shake. She then says “no it’s a Dr Pepper shake” and I told her once more when she came back I was sure that it was chocolate and I was again told it was Dr Pepper. Then she asks “ did I pay” when I was checking to see if I even got my card back. I am now without a Dr Pepper shake and have a chocolate shake when chocolate is my lowest ranked shake on the my shake list.
I absolutely love Whataburger. Always have. Unfortunately, I cant seem to get a Mushroom Swiss burger here (in Brownwood) without that horrible sauce. The first time I asked what comes on it and was told meat, mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and a creamy au jus sauce. The sauce is NOTHING like au jus. It is basically mayonnaise, which I hate. When I ordered tonight, I specifically asked for meat, mushrooms, and swiss cheese ONLY. But again, my burger came with a nasty mayo-tasting sauce. So very disappointed.
I go annually always for a #7 extra avocados extra bacon and extra SPICY KETCHUP!!! A REAL GOOD STOP FOR FAST FOOD
So, it seems the supply chain issues caused this location to run out of fries during lunch rush. At that time your only option was onion rings. Beyond that my food was awesome as Ive come to expect from Whataburger
I do like the hatch green Chile burger, forgive me for saying though. I just need a single patty with more hatching them Chiles in there.

Constant long lines. Breakfast, lunch, supper, it makes no difference. Consistently one of the worst Whataburgers I’ve been to. Raw meat, stale fries etc etc. I love Whataburger but I can’t go there anymore.

Check your order because theres a 90% chance something is missing or wrong. The parking lot is outrageously bad. You can easily get blocked in by the drivers through line. Local citizens also have no idea how to use the curbside spots. Theyll double park or just leave the their truck idling in a spot while eating inside. All of this prevents curbside ordering from working. Just selfish people.
Slowest whataburger Ive ever been to. Drive through didnt move for 10 minutes, then small movement, and sitting still for another 10 minutes and so on. Getting meal took almost 30 minutes. A team member even had to come to our window and ask us what we ordered from the worker by the speaker to make sure we got the correct meal as if employees are not in communication.
Roman the young guy at the drive thru with the tablet, was so nice and very respectful..my order was a little confusing and he got everything right without a problem or getting an attitude. He made my visit a great one.
First and foremost, Whataburger serves their lunch/dinner menu 24/7. So, if youre like me, you can get a burger for breakfast. And this Whataburger made an excellent burger for me before 10 AM.Now, for the negatives. First, the lines here back up massively and the staff doesnt seem able to handle this. The line got long on Sunday morning and while there was a huge staff all seeming to look busy, no one except one guy was able to take orders. Second, like a lot of locations now, the staff rations condiments. My large order of fries apparently only entitled me to two ketchup packets. And finally, while the burger tasted great, it was put together beyond sloppy with no alignment between the burger, cheese, and bun. And lets not even talk about half of the ketchup on my burger being on one side of the burger and the wrapper.In short, its a decent enough option, but clearly the staff cant handle a crowd.

Im from fort worth, I was traveling and stopped on the way back home. This was the best whataburger Ive ever had! The employees were so nice and understanding but the food was so fresh and everything was correct!!

My triple meat Burger came out cold like wasnt fresh cooked
Milkshake watery after I decided to try the new mint chocolate shake and asked to make sure it was thick. Also ordered a chicken fajita with no peppers and asked for the onions to be grilled. The fajita not only had the peppers I requested it not to have, but the onions were doubled (regular and grilled). Ive been having issues for a while in getting thick milkshakes but decided not to write about it. This just took the cake! I could tell and asked if the shake had been sitting there while the order was made in the drive thru because I didnt see him make it when I got to the window. I was REASSURED that it had not been.....that was not true. I pulled to the left of the drive thru immediately after getting my order and found total dissatisfaction.
I can say that the what a burger in our town is better. I expect to get the same thing from a chain restaurant. This one was disappointing. We went though the drive through, The burgers were cold and slapped together.We were driving trying to put them in a better shape to eat while driving Onion rings were mostly broken,and over fried. The fries were warm not hot and under salted. We didnt drive back to fix these thing because we wanted to get home and we had waited a long time the first time.It wasnt that busy either. Being proud of the job you do,should be encouraged, doesnt matter what the job is. This experience at this store seemed like that was the problem, no one cared about the quality of the product they put out.
Called in a order to make pickup faster, when I get there and check in it takes ten minutes to even get someone outside, then my order was wrong had to wait like another 5 minutes to get drinks
Burgers and fries had been premade and were cold and disgusting. Not the first time this has happened when we made the mistake of eating there at lunchtime on a weekday.
I think the customer service is decent, friendly, and helpful. My personal top choices for their menu items are the Mushroom Swiss burger with French fries on the combo, Patty Melt, #24 Breakfast platter with bacon I also like the garden salad and apple cranberry salad.
During the day everything is just fine but will not be stopping at night anymore
Ive been coming to Wallys for decades and I love this place. The food is great and the people are better. Their chicken strips are my favorite, but their burgers are also awesome. Highly recommend to anyone.
Food was hot and fresh. Customer service was great! We arrived after 9:30 and the employees were working hard to get orders out.
An old lady skipped the line in front of me, and because I told her that she was wrong, she start cursing at me and telling me to go back to where I came from. My first time facing a truly Karen. And the employees of Whataburger were on her side. I was so disappointed with the whole experience 😪 Not going back to a white people area.
If we have to wait 20 minutes, the fries should be crisp and hot. It would also be nice if less salt were added to fries. Same for my poor burger drowning in ketchup.
Whataburger has been the same for 12 years always 15 employees standing around talking and not there for the customers unless u special order your food it is always gross dining room is always nasty you always have to clean off your own table pretty much everytime

My husband and I went there after a 13 hour shift. We didn’t mind waiting in line for 30 mins since it’s the only place open at 2AM. But the heavy set woman in the drive thru was super aggressive towards us and the white truck in front of us. She was super rude at the window l and was hesitant to give us what we asked for. When we got home, we found out our order was wrong and they only have us one out of the three sauces we asked for. Worst whataburger ever.
What a burger has been 1 of my top burger choices for years, best place to get good fast food quickly. But here in the past 8 months almost every time i order whether it be in person or on the app my order gets messed up 1 way or another, from buns confused for toast or just the wrong burger completely. Normally i would just deal with it and eat it anyways but when its almost everytime it gets aggravating. Where is the line? When is it gonna be adressed and fixed. I understand we are all under staffed in most of our jobs due to covid and everything. But i would rather wait 30mins for my order to be done right then 15 mins for somthing im gonna have to go back in and get fixed to waste another 20 mins of my time.
I love Whataburger. Their food is always good, and I enjoy their vanilla milkshake. For some reason, every time I come to this location, my order comes out quite slow. Even when it doesn’t seem that busy, I’ll end up having to wait awhile. I have been here several times and at different times of the day, and every time I will end up having to wait longer than I think is normal for fast food. Food is still good though.
Everytime, not just sometimes, everytime they mess up my order when I go through drive through. I dont blame the Whataburger here in general, but their cook or cooks needs to have some serious and thorough training or something. I asked for two number ones, one with no onions. Then I asked for two kids meals justaburger, with ketchup and cheese on one and without cheese on the other because one of my sons has a milk allergy. I even let them know that. Then I just asked for the number 4 after that with everything that came with it.What did the cook do? He chose the number 4 to take the cheese and onions off, then put cheese on everything else and onions on the one I asked not to. They need to get it together with their cook. They get our order wrong every time, I know it seems like a lot, but really its not hard to know unless youre knew to cooking fast food. I dont leave reviews, but this was a little ridiculous after the 5th time not to leave one.
Service is always great, sometimes a but slow but thats expected from Whataburger and their great food!

10 minutes to get waited on (I was the 2nd person in line!). Burger is cold, no sweet tea, about 1/2 a box of fries, no napkins. My food was dine in but they put it in a go bag. Worst experience ever in here. It is usually fast... but burgers are often cold.
Even though they were packed they still got my food out to me in a very timely fashion. Normally at other places orders are messed up when theyre that packed. Everything on my order was 100% correct.
The burger I ordered was nearly cold and not cooked fresh like I always expect from the Whataburger franchises. I want my food hot from the grill. This burger had to be sitting a long while and it took a long time to get it to my table. The restaurant wasnt busy so thats not an excuse. Fries were outstanding and super hot but $8.50 was unwarranted for this meal. DQ $5 deal for me next time.
Went through drive through to get 2 salads. When we got home we discovered there was no chicken on my husbands salad. Gave him some of my chicken off of my salad. The salad was good. Will check our order next time we order.

Amazing place overall. All time favorite is the mushroom swiss, but the patty melt is also a must have. Great place to sit and relax and enjoy a burger. Recommend stopping here if you got the munchies and need a bite to eat

In my many travels to classes across the beautiful Great state of Texas. I have eaten at numerous Whataburger restaurants. This one by far exceeds my expectations. The food was hot, fries were crisp golden brown, and most of all the sweet tea was fresh. This place represents the name Whataburger. Thank you for the delicious experience.
Excellent service! Our son and daughter in law had a baby last night and were starving at 2am. The staff made sure to congratulate us and threw in 2 cinammon rolls as a congratulations! We appreciate the kindness and great customer service that we received!
Good location. ***update*** the last few times we have been in it has been extremely slow. We waited 30 minutes in the drive through and on another visit 10 minutes inside. Only one person was in front of us. If you only have 30 minutes for lunch, you better go elsewhere. They have made me late twice.

You dont always get the freshest food. Half the time it taste like they cooked it hours ago and just heated it up. The fries lately you have to get lucky to get fresh fries. They take forver in the drive through and it is over priced for what it is.

Fast service, nice people. We usually order 6 meals at a time. The only thing they could improve on is the labeling of each bag or burger. We always have to open them to figure which one belongs to who. At times, one burger will have a sticker - that helps. Overall though, the service is better than most. They never miss anything or get large orders wrong. You can count on what you ordered to be exactly what you asked for, even if theres a bunch of customizations in the order.
We just ate at Whataburger Brownwood. I am a long time customer more than 50 years. This was the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. There was a teenage party going on behind the counter and it was not supervised. We ordered two burgers and two chocolate shakes. We got the burgers and were assured the shakes would be right out. My wife went to the counter twice with no result. I went to the counter and asked what happened to the shakes and was told they would be out but no one was at the machine. Then an adult showed up. And preceded to have to make them because the kids could not work the machine. The large young man was told to check the bathrooms. He returned saying they were in good shape. They were not because I had just been in the mens room and there was urine on the floor. There was only one young girl with a bun who was doing her job with the fries and packaging and delivering food in the restaurant. Another young man with an earring was flitting around just bothering others trying to do their jobs. There were so many people running around a giggling I could not even count how many people were supposed to be working. It was a mess and so was everything about our service and experience.
I ordered the Jalapeno and cheese burger. I got a barely warm burger with a flavorless patty covered in wilted browning lettuce. They didnt even give me a napkin in the bag. For nearly 8 dollars, not worth it.

This is an excellent Whataburger! I pulled in with a student group and the manager was incredibly thoughtful to my students and me. The employees were very nice and the food was well prepared. Good place to stop when on the road.
The lines are always long, but its always worth the wait. Its always packed, so that must tell you something. Workers are always buzzing around including managers. Keep up the great work yall.

At any other whataburger I have ever been to, when you are dining in, they would bring your food and the condiment tray. This place? Screw that, they didnt even have someone clean off tables when everyone working could clearly tell it was quite busy. I had to clean it myself. Then get up for condiments as well. SAD.EDIT FOR ANOTHER VISIT: you guys..its been 2 months since my last visit and this place didnt get any better. The order was wrong..4 times...4 freaking times..I was about to flip out and drive back again but my mom called and now we are on the books for replacements. But honestly, theres a reason it took me 2 months to return to this location..and it will probably be a while until I actually go to get what I am owed. Pathetic.
Yes Whataburger was good this time Andre was the person that weighed on me and he made my experience a lot better than usual the only reason I give it 4 stars this time its because of Andre him being courteous made all the difference in the world
A great place to eat. I really like their sandwich with the three chicken strips and BBQ sauce on Texas Toast. There were a couple times when my order was wrong but almost always had an amazing experience.

Im from out of state and hadnt had one in a couple of years but was very disappointed in the thickness of the meat the Buns were the same size as they always been but the meat was about a half inch smaller in diameter in a whole lot thinner than they were last time I was out here in Texas eating one of them
There were no management insight the place was a mad house, l went in for two hamburgers and french fries at 12 noon came out at 1:15 without the French fries. They serve the people ahead of me and the people who came after me and they keep telling me I am next. Was it my look I wonder?

One of my favorite things about Texas is Whataburger. We just moved back to state and had to stop on our way to our new house (not in town Brownwood) for some burgers! We spoke clearly and politely. But when she didnt hear things like BACON or CHEESE several times and we had to keep repeating it, she just silently stared at us then rudely sighed and fixed the order to be correct. Food was delicious except we all had the same exact complaint about our burgers:TOO MUCH MUSTARD/KETCHUP. Like calm down with the sauce please, it was dripping everywhere and it didnt make for a quick, non messy road trip meal.
Burger was decent although it had minimal condiments, bun was pressed flat and meat was quite greasy. The store was clean despite being busy. Clean restroom and friendly staff. Great sweet tea.

Takes forever for them to get you your food. 7 o clock in the morning and 15 minutes for taquitos...come on, maaaan! The good thing is that all whataburgers are the same and take forever plus the food is delicious. Consistency is key and they have that for sure, just need to avoid burning the bacon!!!

I was there during a Sunday brunch hour and the restaurant was full of customers waiting to order. The lines moved quickly, my order was received in an acceptable amount of time, and as always, the food was great.

Menu, food typical of any Whataburger. But this place is filthy. Door, windows, and every table had something on it from the previous customer. Dried ketchup didnt even come off after the table was washed. The floor did not get like this n 1 day; no matter what the closing checklist includes the floor is not one of them. In front of trash there is syrup from drinks splashed & its sticky. Doesnt look like a days worth either. The prep spot where u get ur straw & lids has a cup stuck down with ketchup all over its top. Straw paper & used napkins all over there.This was at 2ish so lunch hour over, with 2 other customers n the place when I arrived. No excuse.Either manager never present or asleep at the wheel. No pride at this establishment. .Probably wont b back.

I am always amazed at the finish on the concrete parking lot at this location. They must have used a power steel trowel because most of it is mirror finished.Once again it is hard to go wrong at a What a burger the way they home cook the burgers just like I would at home. Never dissapointed with this chain. Except going East the last one is in Texarkana, TX.

We went there tonight 2/15 there was at least 4 standing in line, they young man was taking a workers order looked like they were carrying a conversation and then another worker came up from behind the counter and placed his order. There was only one register opened and the customers were left waiting, we left after 5 minutes without ever placing an order.Usually they open another register. It was about 6:15 pm

Good food, not so clean storefront or visible part of kitchen. Very slow drive through. But food is always hot and tastes great. Always crowded.
People at the drive-thru a little work on take orders. Not my best place to eat burgers.
The service is always great when Crystal is working. She believes in Team work as well as her employees. Its always nice to pull up and they already know what you want. 😍😍😍😍

Good tastes so good, but is probably really unhealthy, so I have a love hate relationship with them. Oh also if you have a LTC fire arms are not allowed even to licenced carriers here.
They fittest tried to give us the wrong order. Then they tried to short us a milk shake. Got home a fry was missing and they were all cold. For $45 should have been right.

2022-06-17Late night trip through the drive thru! Got 5 meals, let the kids eat in the car as soon as we got it! My 10 year old took his last bite and said is that an eyelash so I turn the light on in the car and watch him spit this eyelash out that was in the burger! Mind you no one in my car wears them at all! Soooo gross! And disappointed! Called and let them know she said she could make me another burger…..NO THANK YOU!

2022-07-19👎🏾👎🏾 Ordered through app and got to the store for breakfast. Told them I had a online order which based on the app should of been ready. Friend asked me to grab him some food, mind you the online order was supposed to be ready in 4-7 minutes so it should of been ready. Order a bob sausage meal and it took 20 minutes. Yeah sitting in the drive through for 20 minutes and being the only customer there. Smh. 👎🏾👎🏾

2022-06-07Always quite impressed with the friendly staff at the cash registers. The burgers were their usual marvelous self. We could tell they had a lot of people coming in and making large orders and it did not seem to faze them and they kept up with it really well.

2022-04-07This was a very clean and expedient resturant. The gentleman who was our cashier was super friendly and knowledgeable about my odd requests.....and they knew how much malt to put in my drink. Super yummy. Definitely would return.

2022-07-10Uh...it is whataburger and we are in Texas...hello. My hamburger, just a plain ole number one with everything, was juicy and delicious as always but it was lunch time on Saturday. The infant that took my order was nice but I didnt get a number tent - those plastic tent-shaped things so the garsons can bring the food to the right table. I felt lost and confused. Another infant found me in a corner despondent and dried my face where I had drooled and promised me he would get me the right food and he did. I say infant in all humility. The kids that work there must be at least, I want to say 7 years old. They speak and form whole sentences. So, idk.

2022-07-05I’ve gone here several times. I love whataburger but they always miss or mess something. Either ketchup is missing, ranch for my salad, or they mess up on my burger.

2021-03-01This Whataburger always has a line- like most do, cause we all Love Whataburger ! I get it! Hahaha On a rare occasion, I got there no line, I got down... the ladies working there were so nice and helpful, really refreshing! Got everything I wanted and then some! Their pies, burgers, fries, teas, are soooo awesome! My wish was complete! Haha. Such great service and friendly. I appreciated it! Great restaurant! I’m sooooo glad they have a Whataburger here, one of the best burger chains here in my opinion! You can never go wrong getting a burger here! 😋😄

2018-09-18Alright... so here we go... I absolutely love Whataburger! I was so excited for my fries and milkshake... my juicy burger.... well I got fries with absolutely no salt.. I mean not even a dot of salt..😩 So there is no point dipping them in my milkshake!!! My Burger had soggy tomatoes!! My Coke... oh sweet drive thru dude!! 🤦♀️ when you your self already had to dump the lid of excess coke then.. there is a problem!!! I asked for a napkin and proceeded do dump the excess coke in front of you again... you handed me one napkin!!!! I said one really and you were like uh... there is more in the bag.... 😂😂😂😂🤦♀️ 🤦♀️🤦♀️ um... ok... I can’t even right now with y’all!! Because I do love Whataburger fries I will try again one day... but next time I think I will turn on my camera to video this greatness!! 😂😂💁♀️ 3 stars for making me laugh!
