Went there sunday nite after church. Tried to order items on menu but were told not available. Took forever then a young man came to vehicle to try yo give me wrong order. When we got the food the fries were cold and burger buns were straight out of pkg. Not the same place it used to be. Always takes to long for a drive thru. Im done hereThis 3rd time its happened to us.
Drive through women was very rude and short, they also said there shake machine was down for the night and they don’t make shakes after 9pm. Food was good but took a very long time with very few people in the drive through.
I love their Cobb salad. It is a big salad and its worth the price.
I had the chicken strips with country gravy. They were so delicious!!!!

I wish I could give this place zero ratings cause usually service and food are amazing but today which is 8/28/2021 me and finance had a door dash order from there and whataburger got the order completely wrong plus it was like the meat patty wasnt even cooked cuz it was ice cold. So we call up there and the manager said she if we bring the receipt up there she would fix it. And so we Did but once hey up there and let her know that we were who called she tells us that she cant fix it now let me just you know that me and my fiance walked up there Im the rain and Im pregnant just for them not do what they said they would do.
Customer service was very good and helpful, the hatch green chile burger is the only decent hamburger on the menu.
Terrible experience. Waited a long time in line to place my order, pay and receiving it. Order was incomplete, the fries were stale and the burgers were stone cold. The cashier must have been new because he was so lost and slow.

Whats not to love about this place?! Food is great, service is polite, and is the only place Ive been able to order online for curbside without needing another app to download. You can get directly on the website, choose your order, set a specific time to pickup, enter CC information and done. Show up at your designated time, let them know youre outside and then just go home and enjoy. Perfect everytime.
LOONNNNGGGGGG wait.... I mobile order at this Whataburger nearly every Sunday about the same time. That time is around 2:00 p.m. so not a super busy lunch rush time. But every single time I place my order it takes them a super long time to get it out to my car for the curbside pick up. I have to call in there every time to make sure that they know that Im sitting out here waiting. I ordered my food this time 45 minutes in advance and Im still waiting for it.... 10 minutes after it should have even been ready in the 1st place place. If you need fast food DO NOT come to Whataburger in Henderson because it is never fast.

Update: Gave them another chance for some reason. I sat at the drive thru window waiting for just a drink for over 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. There were 3 people by the window talking. I finally drove away and went somewhere else.If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I have given this location too many chances. I have been sitting in the drive through for over 45 minutes as I type this. I usually order on the app because I assumed that would be faster and give a smaller chance for the order to be wrong. I have never waited less than 25 minutes for food (while I see other cars pulling in, ordering food here, and getting to leave much sooner). I have also never been here at a time when they have not messed up my order. I will not be returning. Waiting 25+ minutes for an order that is wrong is unacceptable. I have never had this issue at any other Whataburger location, so this has to be a management issue.
I live only 5 blocks away from here and i got a shake that was soupy and fries were cold. I got 2 sandwhiches and asked without diced onions and it was like they put extra on. Definitely disappointed. Only saving grace was the. Service
Your order will be wrong. Period. Very slow. If you have the time go in and make sure it’s down right. I’ve given them 15 chances and they have messed my order up every time. After long wait you expect fresh hot food, but sadly it’s cold. Just heads up if you have other food options I would go there.

Slowest drive thru ever. Ive been through busier and bigger city locations of many restaurants, and nothing compares in regards to slowest as this one does. Didnt realize it took 30-45 minutes (no exaggeration) at a fast food place to serve 5 vehicles on a continuous basis as this small town Whataburger constantly displays
The orange and white stripes seldom disappoint. And this one for local east Texas stands out. If you can go by late afternoon and enjoy the comaradery of the locals old timers then do so. The chit chat overheard goes well with the specialty burgers.
My coffee was cold and filled so full when I took the lid off to add cream it spilled all over me.. guess its a good thing the coffee was cold... save yourself, go to Sonic across the street.

Food is always good, albeit the burgers are made a bit messy sometimes. Customer service, unfortunately, is a gamble. Ive had AMAZING experiences with the most friendly and approachable employees Ive ever met, and Ive had a few encounters that left me wondering where all the hatred is coming from. Ordered a chicken sandwich with no vegetables. Received a chicken sandwich with all the vegetables. The night manager is more concerned about which of her friends are in the drive thru than getting orders correct in a timely fashion.
The workers were very nice. I explained to the gentleman that I had never eaten at Whataburger before and he explained what type of burgers they have and all the other items there. My burger was Soo good. I also had a chocolate shake which was very delicious. If I go to another city and see a Whataburger I will eat .

First I want to say they have freshest fast food Ive ever eaten. But that cant be enough for me to continue giving my money and support to a restaurant owned by DKT ( Dole and Karens Company) and not the actual Whataburger corporation. They hire between very inexperienced and experienced individuals. Thats not bad for a starter job but its bad when you give credit to the lazy ones over the hard workers and wonder why you have such a high turnover for employees. you offer your employees very little breaks as well as not enough compensation for them working as hard as they do you got rid of some of my favorite employees that I enjoy talking to when I sent over my orders well the owners of DKT living multimillion-dollar houses that youre not willing to pay your employees barely livable wage including the ones that are in management positions besides the assistant manager and general manager I will miss eating at your establishment but in the end I can no longer support you guys and will only eat at Whataburger that are not owned by DKT.I hope this review actually get seen by a fair amount of people because I wish you the best of luck in understanding why I will no longer be eating at thiswill no longer be eating at this establishmentbest of luck to the management at hope you guys can make the necessary changes so you can become better and more progressive.

Ordering your meal is pretty good. I actually get it how I ask for it and 99.8% of the time, I get it fresh off the grill (#5). By the way, if you guys havent tried theyre cinnamon rolls, then you really dont know what youre missing...

Really good fast food joint. Price is a little high, but you get what you pay for. dont ever go here if youre in a rush cuz it takes a while to make it, so chill out, sit in your car and wait on you food in the drive thru. Open 24 hours, always got a clean bathroom, And the employees are always nice. so if youre in Gilmer and you want to Whataburger you know where to go.
This is a great place to meet and have a good meal with friends and family. I love the burgers and the breakfast. Try the BOB and Biscuit-w-gravy with a half-cut tea. The decor is all local High School Football. Good hometown place to chill.

Best burgers in Texas! Best burgers in the South! Never mind, best fast food burgers period. Fries are amazing, and their breakfast is delicious! The only negative is that no matter which Whataburger you go to they will forget to put something in the bag when you go through the drive thru. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ when it comes to their food and the cleanliness of the restaurant (no matter which one you go to). Now if they can get all of the order in the bag when you go through the drive thru!

Ten minutes for 2 cinnamon rolls? Ive watched three cooked meals go out before mine that were placed after my order. After all that waiting, they were barely even warm, which seemed odd, considering how long they were placed in the oven apparatus(?) under the front counter. The two stars goes to the adjacent convenient store. Id give them four stars if this review wasnt attached to the neighboring Whataburger. They have the most awesome snack selection Ive ever seen, including yogurt with a fresh topping buffet! The lady behind the counter was very sweet too. Its always nice to have someone tell you to have a good day and sound like they really mean it.
I went in to order some items ala carte as I have done a million times. I was told today by the front staff and manager on duty that I could not add lettuce and be charged for it on my justaburger that I would have to order a burger that had lettuce on it. If this simple thing cannot be done what else in that store is not being done right! Guys... I should not have to beg someone to charge me to add lettuce on a freaking burger. They actually let me walk out and go somewhere else to order a meal.

I like this whataburger better than others in the area because it is new so I know it is still on the cleaner side for a while. It is nothing extra special when it comes to service or quality- they have heard us wrong a few times when we order which is frustrating.

There is no guarantee that they still serve the el carne burrito anymore, but there hamburger meats are never frozen solid. They turned out great if they dont get pressed, unless you like charbroiled.
Lets not talk about this. I tried being of help to someone on foot and his cousin works there too and lets say I will not be back at Kilgore Whataburger after my being disrespected by his cousin.

Went to this Whataburger around 12 AM. Do You Feel Like We Do by Peter Frampton is halfway through the song, I ordered one Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich. The young lady opens her window and takes my card for payment. Peter Frampton plays his guitar solo, drive thru lady still isnt back. Bennie and the Jets by Elton John starts playing, Im still waiting for my sandwich. Its been over 7 minutes and the lady is absolutely nowhere to be seen. At this point Im beginning to wonder if the cook walked out or had a heart attack. I get halfway through Bennie and the Jets and finally this lady rushes me to take the bag and says We were waiting on chicken stripsWhat exactly prevented yall from telling me 11 minutes ago that there would be a wait for this sandwich? Most joints have a standard cooking time that couldve been told to me ahead of time so I would know. I understand that this late at night youre not going to precook food like you do during the day but a simple heads up wouldve been courteous.
Foods good just very overpriced for a meh hamburger and the wait in the drivethrew is always really long resturaunt stays clean as well as bathrooms but if i want to pay that much for a burger combo id go to backporch or charburger

The best hamburger everytime ....also prepared perfectly and always get a malt and onion rings...This is the biggest and freshes hamburger with added cheese and likes the spice ketchup and median size strawberry malt!!!

Contrary to what the fruitcakes from Stanford say, not only do they serve things other than water, they have the best fast food burgers in America. If you prefer to get your burgers from a restaurant whose name reminds you of your prom night, then head west until you hit the ocean and do Texas a favor, stay there.

2022-06-18Usually, this is place is a hit or miss on attention to detail. Just make sure what you order is what you actually get. Ordered and paid for a double cheese, but received only a single cheese. Also ordered a vanilla shake, but had to ask for it before I left out. I would advise maybe going earlier in the day versus at night. All in all, this place is usually good, but provided that if they get the order correct.

2022-02-16Visiting from the east coast and was so excited to try this for the first time. Fries were good, everything else not so much. Ordered a burger with cheese and they forgot the cheese but added tomatoes for some reason. The Dr Pepper shake just tastes like a vanilla shake. Disappointing.

2022-05-04The lobby cashier got our order wrong. He wasn’t listening and would not speak up so we could hear him. You should not have someone customer facing if they do not have the skills to interact with customers properly.

2022-06-10One of the worst service whataburger’s I have ever been to. 1:00 am the 15 people waiting in the drive thru having to turn off their cars why they wait 10 min between each order. There is absolutely no point of using the app to pre order you will still wait for ever to get the food you ordered

2022-06-23This is the worst whataburger ever. How slow can you be. I worked at whataburger in high school and we killed it. Never did someone have to sit in drive through for 30 minutes or more. And its every time you come here. Complete trash.

2022-02-18Honestly this visit has restored my faith in Whataburger. Visit after visit after visit in other locations I consistently had a disappointing experience, whether it be the service the food or something else. But this one I decided to give it a shot came in Mr. Morgan Alex helped me with my order, we had a good conversation he was a very friendly cool young man. My order came out quick and it came out hot, I don’t think I sat down for more than maybe 3 to 5 minutes before my food was brought to me. Everybody I took had me reminiscing of the days were every order I made tasted delicious. I so badly wanted to order another one, what does $13 price tag in the size of my belly were the only things limiting me from doing so. It is crazy to think that this combo of a honey barbecue chicken strip sandwich has gone up from 8 dollars in 2015 to $13 in 2022. But I got to say I will be back to this location and I will update my experience if it continues to be the same or if it changes

2022-02-22Manager on duty morning of 2/22/22, was extremely rude when I, as a uniformed first responder, asked if they offer a discount. Some Whataburgers do, some dont. They didnt immediately offer, so I asked. It offended her that I asked and yes, they do offer it. I shouldnt have to ask and be be berated if it is automatically offered. She was so confrontational and rude. I WILL NOT return to this place.

2022-01-22The new sausage is horrible. Whataburger was my absolute favorite place to get breakfast. Now I cant even eat the sausage because it has entirely too much sage. It tastes exactly like dunkin donuts sausage and its basically no longer edible. The new owners have ruined my favorite place to eat breakfast. Grrrr

2022-02-11Ordered a chicken sandwich and ended up getting a spicy version instead. Manager was quick to correct the issue and even gave me a fresh order of fries.
