Zero Degrees in other cities:
Mangonada, I think it is called, is delicious!! We also love the elote. Ordered garlic noodles with beef once and it was pretty good. Not a fan of the popcorn chicken- believe they’re dark meat or a mix of light and dark. Good chicken tenders- all white meat. Overall really like this place for delivery or pick up.
Garlic butter chicken was completely bland, like one piece had some burnt garlic on it and even then zero flavor. The mangonada was okay but very sour and mango bits are hard unripe chunks. Another customer had too come back in after getting her smoothy saying it was too sour. Everything looked good though lol
Great first date place or even to take your sweetie. The teas and milkshakes will blow your mind. After moving to Houston I quickly fell in love with Elote, and the twist that Zero Degrees does make you begging to come back for more. Everyone should stop in here and try this very unique menu as their offerings are not found in other places.
Some of my favorite drinks here include their matchata, house coffee with the sea salt cream foam topping, strawberry bliss with tapioca, and the eye catching ube milkshake. The mangonadas are really popular here as well, but for me it depends on the day and who makes it. Otherwise all the drinks here are the bomb!My only complaint about this location is that because its always crowded, the line takes forever to order. And then once you do order, if you come here with a group, its usually hard to find seating. My cousins and I came here after dinner, and it took us awhile to get a table. But all in all, I would recommend this place to others!
We love the Baytown location so far this is the nicest place in townI ordered a split cup with mango twist and combo pop corn chicken and cajun fries. Ive had their food before, like the hot cheese elotes, which was bomb, and I love how they do $10 lunch specials before at other locationsI love that this place has attracted other ethnicities outside of the Asian culture, and I hope they return because I know I will!
So during the Icy days we decided to go check out the newest location for Zero Degrees in the Willowbrook area. I ordered the Ube shake because it looked pretty and we also ordered the mangonada drink since they claim to be the home of mangonadas and lastly my 2 drink cup of coffee horchata and Vietnamese coffee. I liked all of it. The Ube shake is Taro flavor. The mangonada drink was fresh and delicious and my favorite of all was the 2 drink cup for you indecisive people. If you are around one of the locations definitely check it out. Going back to try the chilotes (hot Cheeto corn and chicharrón)
Came at 12:30 pm during the grand opening and the line was out the door. An hour later I finally reached the register and ordered the lychee crush, strawberry horchata, peach blossom, jasmine milk tea, and matcha milk tea all for $12 (BOGO)!!Lychee crush - sweet and refreshing and filled with bits of strawberry - highly recommend! I got light ice but it was still almost halfway filled... will get no ice next time.Strawberry horchata - a new favorite; the cinnamon and strawberry surprisingly complement each other well. All in all, a fantastic addition to the boba repertoire up north. Will wait for the hype to die down before coming back but I definitely will.
Split Cups are so smart! You can try two different flavors.I had Lychee Crush and Thai Milk Tea. The other split cup we had was Matcha Milk Tea and Thai Milk Tea.The best one out of those three flavors was the Matcha Milk Tea! Not too sweet, but still has flavor.I would definitely go here again because theres so many more items i would like to try
Just went there and bought a Thai milk tea. Absolutely delicious. The first so was tangy but from there on it was soooo yummy. It makes me wish I had gotten the honey boba! Definitely will though whenever Im in Baytown again. The decor looked warm and it gave off a variety like vibe. The worker there was nice, patient and didnt rush me to order.
They tried to rip us off. We bought multiple combos and their menu specifically says that to add a split cup is an extra 3.50 as one of their deals. So, when we get the receipt they charged us full price for the drinks. When we brought it up to them they said that they dont count that even though their menu specifically states they do. We got a refund for our ticket and left. We didnt eat here and never will. Be careful with what they are charging you.
Zero Degrees is a nice spot. It’s a fast food restaurant with a pretty creative menu. It’s clean, the service was fast. I haven’t tried much on their menu but, I will be back! I had the Strawberry Lychee slush and I love that there’s actually fruit in it and not syrup. #elotes #summer #slush #quick #bites #cool #treats #snacks #food #chill #weguide
My fried shrimp was in shell. I had to peel all the bredding to eat it. If it was one I would understand but not ALL of the shrimp. My husbands popcorn chicken had a weird flavor. Dont let the nice pictures fool you. The food was not edible except the fries.Wasted money. My husband is literally placing order to pick up food somewhere else as I am typing. Drinks were great.
First time coming here and I ordered the garlic shrimp noodles and the hot cheetos fries. The garlic shrimp noodles were very tasteful but the shrimps still had the shells on them which is very different especially since that had batter on them covering the shell completely up. I asked the cashier if the shrimp was supposed to be served that way and she informed me yes they are so aside from being caught off guard by that I dont have any complaints... the food is affordable and good. The fries were ok also and I ordered a Mango Green Tea which was also good.
Food was exactly the same as it is shown on their website. The atmosphere is clean and cozy. Plus, if you love skinny fries without a ton of seasoning and grease, this is the place to purchase them!! The Cookies and Cream shake wasnt too sweet, and has the right amount of balance of sweet and cold.
I wasnt really a fan of the couple of drinks Ive tried here but I do think the place is very cool and their split cup is really interesting. My main problem was with their vietnamese iced coffee. The one I got tasted weirdly really salty and I was not into it. Ive had that same drink at MANY places and never had one taste salty like that.
I enjoy coming to Zero Degrees because a variety of drinks. My favorite is the spicy watermelon drink because it’s refreshing for Texas heat. It’s sweet and it has a little bit of that tajin kick. Perfect combo if you ask me 😆.Oh! And don’t forget about their snacks as well. Their elote and chicken bites are my go to snacks every time.
I’ve heard so many good things about this place so decided to finally give it a try . What I like the most is the fresh fruit and crispy fries. Clean establishment, staff is new so please be patient . I had the corn topped with hot Cheetos, and the cucumber limeade is perfect!!!! I will definitely come back and try the rest of the items on the menu.
The staff was not friendly. The young lady taking my order just stood at the register and looked at me. Not one smile not one suggestion, just a very dry look. I gave my order and told them I wanted it to go. My order is produced without kids. I informed the young man that my order was to go he took a lid and smashed my food down Lord when the lid did not fit he placed the lid on the other item put both in a bag and slide the bag to me. I sat down and rearranged the food so that the lid could fit and left. Long story short. The food is consistent. As I have been to other locations. The customer service, on the other hand, is not.
Not what I expected but delicious and unique offerings that didnt even make it through the 15 minute ride home. We didnt try the hot food, just a spicy pineapple sundae and a watermelon slushy. I thought the place was predominately an ice cream parlor but we pleasantly mistaken. They have a variety of hot snack foods, like popcorn chicken and fries, as well as signature cold drinks ranging from sundaes to smoothies.
Very unhelpful staff. I ordered the crispy buffalo shrimp. Big mistake! The shrimp is not crispy at all, in fact its still completely in the shell. You literally have to peel all of the sauce off to eat it. Smelled fishy. The person pretty much told me to just get over it.
Staff was very friendly and the drinks were good, but... they straight up fried the whole shrimp, shell & tail and legs, with the flavoring on the shell. Ever tried to peel hot, fried shrimp? Only to get to the meat that’s now almost flavorless because you peeled the flavoring off with the shell? Not fun. Doesn’t make sense.
This place is over rated. Their pictures make everything look great but they have an Asian twist to a lot of their food that did not sit right with my Hispanic taste buds.Cons: Their elote taste sweet and has a weird cotija cheese that tastes more like parmesan than anything else. Their carne asada nachos have a sauce on them that I assume is suppose to be like salsa but it truly has too much of an Asian twist and makes the dish too weird for my liking. Their wings are tiny and overcooked and dried out even the ones with the bbq on them.Pros: Their aguas frescas are bomb! Their Strawberry Agua Horchata is a nice twist to this traditional drink and for some reason my taste buds approve, it is absolutely delicious. Their Teas are the best and they have all kind of classic add ons that make your Tea super Extra! They truly are the Mangonada kings their Mangonadas come softened so you can eat them with a spoon or sip on them with one of their large straws.
This is a good SNACK place. Or a place to hang out and order something your friends can pick off of. Because it is A LOT of fries. We ordered a few things to try on our visit from new orleans. Wings were amazing.. just wished they had sauce. The other options we had were good too. We ended up eating the toppings and 1 of the fries. Because again... too... much... fries. And as a potato head... I never thought those words would come out my mouth. Drinks.. amazing. We only tried 3. But wanted more. I think there was a lemonade and cucumber one? Amazinggg!
I came on the Grand opening day, the line was moving fast. I got the Mangonada & spit cup of Jasmine & matcha milktea with tapioca . They was so good and i was very pleased. I also got elotes & popcorn chicken 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻omg where else in Baytown that i can find beside Zero Degrees. They are bomb 👌🏻 i keep coming back since they open. Good food, good drinks & beautiful interior place. 😋
Ive heard great things about this place and finally decided to give it a try. Before heading out I went online to make sure this new location was still open. Website clearly states closing hour is 10pm, I walked in a little before 930 only to be told that the kitchen was closed. I proceeded to order a cookie monster smoothie since the fryers were off only to be turned down once again . Not a great way to get this new location going. Any other place serves customers until the hour they are advertised to be under operation. #falseadvertisement if you ask me ! OR maybe from now on the time your fryers are turned off should be listed on website as well.
If I could give this place 0 stars then I would. I was very excited to visit the new location in Baytown after seeing their posts on Instagram. When I finally had the chance to visit I was highly disappointed! I ordered the mangonada and paid an extra dollar for the candy/tamarind straw. I paid nearly $9 for a drink and they didnt make it correctly. I brought my concern to the staff and they attempted to remake the drink a total of 3 times. It never turned out right and by the last attempt I decided to give up. I attempted to contact somebody online but nobody ever responded. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE, ITS A JOKE! I could have gotten a proper mangonada for half the price at a Mexican refresqueria or I could have made it myself. Never going back to this place ever again.
The service isnt great, the girls working were not welcoming at all. They were on their phones. They talked amongst themselves and not to us. They said that the sundaes were not ready when I asked to order one, but did not say how long it would take or anything. They also got the order wrong and they argued with me about what I got when I repeated it three times! The music is way to loud and you cant really understand what they are saying. I know they just opened, so hopefully they get their customer service together. On a postive note the sundaes were great and they do give you what you pay for.
This place is trendy, but the food isnt that great. Had the carne asada fries, it was more like fat asada then actual meat. The lemon pepper wings were more like bland wings. The mangonada was ok at best; the only thing that was actually very good was the cucumber limade.
Its okay. I give it 2 stars because for one, this location dont have as many options as most locations. Two, stick with bone in chicken (prayerfully WINGS)because the nuggets are made with chicken thighs, the cheapest you can go. I cant eat nuggets made out of dark meat that long, it start tasting too funny. I would like to question the person who came up with that idea to do chicken nuggets with dark meat. Smh

2022-03-14I was so hyped to come in today!! I love my cookie Monster shake buuuuuttttt... I have to admit I was super sad about these new fries - theyre not crispy but theyre crunchy because the fries were really hard?? Like not super cooked - and if theyre gonna be bigger fries - they should really be in longer I feel like. They felt a little more raw but the BIGGEST let down was I LOVED YOU GUYS fries before ;-; !!! They were the best its what I was so excited out! I even mentioned it in store that usually I have to share but now I get my own. Well 🥺 😢 I am very sad about these - I miss the old fries a TON and Im really sad idk what happened or why the old fries arent used anymore. Im sure theres a reason but I just had to let you guys know how I felt about this so hopefully- edit:YOU GUYS BROUGHT THEM BACK THANK YOU!

2020-09-20Zero Degrees is a small snack food and drink shop on Garth in Baytown. They serve some pretty interesting combinations like hot cheetos elote and spicy watermelon smoothies. The split cup is also an interesting choice where you can get a two chamber cup for two different drinks if you cant decide on a flavor. Ive been here a few times for delivery and take out and would mainly recommend it for the drinks.

2019-05-15Amazing! I loved everything we ordered. The prices are not bad considering the size of the drinks and food we received. I ordered the spicy Dole whip which was amazing. I ordered the regular and the size was still good, I didnt finish it. The combo meals come with a signature drink which is great because you get food and a great drinks for $14. I found it strange that there isnt any regular drinks. No coke, sprite or water bottles!! The staff was very nice and extremely patient because we did not know what we wanted. They have many different things to chose from. The restaurant is located in a spacey shopping strip which means Parking isnt a problem. I definitely recommend this place.

2019-07-27Buffalo sauce tasted like ketchup mixed with tobaccos sauce. My gf got the garlic shrimp and said all the seasoning was on the shell instead of the shrimp. Garlic fries were too soggy. But there drinks are good. Strawberry limeade is a ok choice.

2020-04-03I like the uniqueness of this place. They change up their menu every now and then which is also cool. They have a variety of dessert drinks/teas/coffee and concession stand type food, too. I’ve tried a lot from their menu and have always been satisfied. It’s always a win for kids, too!

2019-07-23This was our first visit here. We ordered a 🍓 horchata and an oolong milk tea both with honey boba. We had never had any kind of bubble tea before. It was Sooo funny we picked up normal straws (instead of the ones we were supposed to get) and boba kept getting stuck and we werent getting tea 😤 when we would pull up the straws tea would spew out 😵 LOL. It was actually comical but it didnt take to long to figure out that we got the wrong straws and we fixed it.After the straw debacle the teas were both really good. Im sure we will go back again!

2019-05-15Drinks were good! Will be back! Very unique experience. They have cute, little fun games to play while dining in. I didnt try the food. Just the corn with hot Cheetos. Very large portion.
