Jonathan was our service technician and he did an amazing job! He has came 2 times for different services and was beyond amazing. He was responsive, informative, helpful, and the most trustworthy technician we have met!We recommend them and use them for all our needs and have convinced the rest of our family to use them!Go with him and Zimmermann it’s the best you can get in San Antonio!!!!
On the recommendations of neighbors and positive Google reviews, we signed up for regular maintenance service with Zimmermann AC/Heating. We received extremely positive customer service over the phone. Trey arrived on time to inspect our system. He worked very hard and did the most complete system check we have ever received. The courtesy and professionalism he provided us was nothing short of fantastic! We look forward to our ongoing relationship with Zimmermann and Trey.
Timothy was awesome. He arrived on time to the appointment I scheduled for a routine inspection of my unit. He conducted tests of the outside unit and inside unit located in the attic. Timothy was knowledgeable of all the parts and functions of my AC unit. He provided feedback and tips on how to keep my AC running great. He answered all my questions without making me feel like I was a burden or waste of his time, he even asked at the end if I had any other concerns he could help me with.The value of the service he performed was affordable. I will for sure be using Zimmerman again in the future.
Our AC started leaking and we are do to fly out early tomorrow we made the call after another company flaked on us. We were given a same day evening appointment and were happy with that. Then they called and asked if they could come sooner and when Gabriel got here he was professional and very helpful he was in and out and told us about the maintenance program they offered so we signed up for that so we will hopefully not come across this issue again. Thank you so much for all your help we will now be able to go on our vacation and not be stressed!
I have a story about Zimmerman AC Company. I had a leak in my Ceiling. They advised me to replace my entire AC system in order to fix it. I paid 10,000 dollars got a complete new system asked them multiple times if this would fix the leak they promised me it would. I also asked them the day they came and replaced it. Again they promised that it would fix it. Fast forward 3 days later the leak isn’t fixed. Zimmerman sent about person out and then told us ohh no the new AC unit would never fix your leak. We got completely used by them and now they are not doing anything to fix the mistake they made. Our other AC unit was working perfectly fine but they took advantage of us because we needed the leak to stop. I have asked them multiple times to at least pay for our insurance deductible, because we have thousands of dollars in water damage because the ceiling kept leaking. They lied to use and took advantage of us. We just want help with the money we have lost because of them taking advantage of us.
Look no further than Zimmermann AC and Heating.I had an incredible experience today with Omar and Zimmermann AC & Heating! Omar showed up on time to give my AC unit a tune-up. Like many people, I am interested in my AC but have no idea what is actually going on. Omar took time to explain to me what he is doing and what right looks like. Cannot recommend Zimmermann AC and heating enough! Will certainly be recommending to others!
Omar and Robert came within the allotted/indicated time. Our Unit unexpectedly stopped working and they got it repaired promptly. He was kind, courteous, informative, and was willing to discuss the ins and outs of our unit and future maintenance we can do to help prolong the life of our unit. We felt heard and the interaction felt genuine and not like we we’re just another number. I’m really glad we switched from the other company we were using and called Zimmerman instead!
I always receive great service from Zimmerman. I subscribe to their Annual Maintenance program, they call me every Spring(AC) and Fall(Heating) to schedule maintenance, I never have to think about it and Ive never had any problem with our A/C or Heating. Omar, especially, does a great job and is always knowledgeable, respectful and courteous!

Tim showed up on time and was very informative the entire time he was here. Cleaned the drain pipes and ran diagnostics to make sure everything was accounted for and working properly. Didn’t leave until he was satisfied the issue was resolved and made sure I knew what was going on the entire way. Absolutely love Zimmerman and have had nothing but amazing experiences with them since they installed our AC.
Zimmerman AC is such a fantastic company! They did an install at my home and went above and beyond to make sure me and my family were comfortable. The professionalism displayed was a breathe of fresh air compared to other companies I’ve had to deal with in the past. If you aren’t using this company for any of your AC needs then you need to!
My A/C unit was not cooling so I called Zimmermann after seeing the 5.0 rating. They set me up an appointment for the next day in the evening. The technician was able to arrived earlier which was great. Steven is the technician that worked on unit. He is very knowledgeable, professional and informative. As he assessed the unit he explained what he was doing step by step. When he worked on unit Steven showed the gauges and explained what the numbers were at and what they actually needed to be. He did a thorough check of the unit then went through several options to resolve issue and pricing. When he was finished Steven sent photos of his work. I am glad I called Zimmermann for my A/C service.
We were highly pleased with the service provided by Trey from Zimmerman. Very quick response to our call for service when our unit quit cooling. Very thorough diagnostic evaluation and clear, detailed explanation of the necessary repair. Trey was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend this company and plan to use them for all of our future HVAC needs.
Timothy arrived about an hour and a half before the scheduled time but called ahead. I appreciate him showing up early. He figured out the problem pretty quick and fixed the problem. He was very honest, upfront, and helpful. Its nice to have AC again after a little more than 24 hours without AC. Recommend them as a good company and Timothy to go out to the residences.
I was fixing to write a very long and detailed review, but I won’t bore you with the details. This is hands down the best HVAC company I have dealt with. From Tracy who worked her magic to fit us in their schedule on such a short notice, to Trey who came out to assess our duct work the same day that I called, to James who came out to review the installation plan before bringing out the crew — everyone has been top notch! Major kudos to Trey for coming out and being honest about the condition of our system and patiently walking us through his recommendations and answering all of our questions. And finally, a huge thank you to the installation crew — James, Christian, Taylor, and Rene for working tirelessly to remove AND install our duct work all in one day. When I tell you these guys care about their customers, I really mean it. They were so careful with our home and very polite. James even went as far as helping us get our smart thermostat installed! If that doesn’t say “above and beyond”, I don’t know what does. I will continue to go to Zimmerman for my HVAC needs.
The service was excellent start to finish. They got me in same day. They came at exactly the time quoted and called prior to arrival. The techs Gabriel and Omar were very quick and knowledgeable. They explained everything thoroughly, gave me several options and an answered all the questions I had. Highly recommend!!

Excellent service and response times even in these busy, hot days. The crews are well-stocked, informative, and willing to go above and beyond to respond to questions and issues. Hours after an installation, I had problems with the unit and a team was dispatched as soon as possible to triage and resolve the problem, showing great problem solving skills to get my house cooled down and safe again. Terry came to give me an estimate on duct replacement. After his investigation he advised me that I did not need new duct work, just some a couple of seals. I had the same issue bid before and was quoted a very expensive price to replace all my duct work. Terry saved me money and his a very honest man. He has earned my business. I totally recommend Zimmerman HVAC service.
Zimmerman was very quick to schedule my semi-annual system check. I received a call from the dispatcher informing me the crew was on route, and they showed within the time slot in was originally informed. The crew, John and Gabriel, split levels of the house. At the end John explained some minor concerns and the best next steps. I also appreciated that the dispatcher said, God Bless when ending our conversation.
Timothy was so friendly and kind! He went above and beyond to make sure he answered all of questions. He was very professional but also very nice. I will definitely be using Zimmerman from now on!!

Zimmermans took my emergency car for outdoor ac unit going out that America Home Shield sent their nonchalant vendor to come diagnose and ultimately leaving me and my family in 90 plus degree uncertainty for a few more days. Mr. Trey, not only, easily diagnosed the problem but patiently listened to my crisis and explained the most complexed electrical system in relatable terms to help me understand the underlying problem. Trey provided quick and affordable options to immediately give a chance to fix my emergency in a timely manner. Zimmerman provided that confidence and service I needed in which I no longer have in AHS and its pool of contractors. Thank you again for saving the day!!
I had my ac go out on Saturday . Out of multiple companies I called they were the only to show up. Trey showed up and did everything he could to revive our unit but sadly nothing worked . Very friendly and professional. As well as honest work. Definitely would recommend this company to others .

Trey did an excellent job trying to get my system running when my AC went out on my birthday weekend…They called before coming out told me exactly when to expect them always showed up in the window they gave me…They analyzed and set up a new installation and helped us the best he could for us approved and installed a portable for comfort until install…1000 times would recommend this company to everyone !!! And Trey he’s amazing !!!!
The technicians came out out and explained to me what the issue is, the item needing repair and cost. They were very thorough and provided me the best cost effective way/option for me. I would highly recommend them and will use them in the future.
The AC techs were called to fix a unit that was leaking. The AC tech fixed the unit.. paid $250. The 2nd time we used the AC unit it started to leak again so we called Zimmerman to come back n fix. James, the manager, reviewed n said it was a plumbing issues n recommended we place the unit(they quoted $8k)... so I called to get a 2nd opinion. The 2nd company I called cleared the leak by pushing out all the dirt with a nitrogen tank. Next day, James called n asked if we made a decision for replacing the unit... I told him what happened n he was sooo offended he cancelled our $1800 maintenance agreement...And, the previous maintenance run with this company they had they installed the wrong filters... the filters were falling out of the units ...turns out they installed the cheapest filters on the market. I don’t recommend this company... owner is great... staff is incompetent 🤷🏻♀️... they never replaced the filters... I had to purchase out of my own pocket (even though it was part of the maintenance agreement)!
We used zimmerman because we had a leak in our ceiling and they said it was our AC. They said we needed a new one so we spent 10k for them to give us a new one and us still have a leak. They did not fix the orginial problem, but we gave them 10K. They are not trying to fix the problem or the mistake they made. They are just stealing our money and running. This company is a joke.
Timothy was very professional and punctual, and was able to make a repeat visit the same day. He refilled the refrigerant beyond expectations, and diagnosed and patched a leak in my attic real fast.
We called several AC companies and even paid the service fee for them to leave after their outrageous quote and lack of professionalism. Then Eric came out today from Zimmermann Air Conditioning and was AMAZING! He showed up on time and was extremely friendly. He showed up with a mask on which is great during these covid times and even put on booties over his work boots when entering house.He was very understanding to our issues and did an excellent job explaining what was going on with our unit. He provided some fantastic options that were all very reasonable and better than quotes we received from their competitors. We happily paid and will definitely be calling Zimmermann for any of our air conditioning needs.Zimmermann now has a customer for life and when we need a unit replaced, there will be only one company we call and that’s Zimmermann! Hopefully we continue to get Eric to service as well since he was the best technician we have ever worked with for our air conditioning needs.We will definitely be spreading the word that Zimmermann Air Conditioning is the best and ONLY ac company to reach out to for all your air conditioning needs!***8/10/2022 Update***We recently moved to a new home and tried our current home warranty for our air conditioning issues (not Zimmermann) and should have known it was going to be a mess. After dealing with the horrible customer service from our home warranty, we decided to give Zimmermann a call since they took care of us at our last home.We are so happy we did! We had a great technician (Omar) that came out on time and was wonderful in explaining what our air conditioning issues are with our new home. He was able to save the day and now our kids have rooms that they can sleep comfortably in again!This is why we continue to spread the word to anyone that has air conditioning issues to please call Zimmermann! They have the best customer service and great prices (which by the way were better than our home warranty)!Thank you Zimmermann for hiring great technicians like Omar and thank you for having fair prices! Fortunate to have met Terry Wallace outside the business fishing one night amongst friends . He is genuinely a great honest guy and stands behind his work along with his fellow workers. Just had my unit installed in no time and got my heater back up and running with professional quality unsurpassed. Was well informed about the unit and products installed and warranties that came with it. I definitely recommend this company for all your AC servicing needs. The price was very reasonable. Excellent customer service all around. Friendly dispatcher and the technicians have been very professional and honest. I have used Zimmerman twice, once to diagnose and change a condenser, and then again during a freeze when my heat went out. The technician got my heat working again and because it was a simple solution, did not charge me for the visit. This is my go to a/c company from now on.
The answering/appointment staff was so nice and actually took the time to speak to me about my concerns and reassure me before having a technician come out. The tech that did come out, Stevie, was so knowledgeable and so personable. He was honest and he showed us how to use certain functions with our heater/thermostat we didn’t even know we had! My unit went out 2 days before we were to get freezing temperature. I called Zimmermann A/C & Heating. A young lady named Christina quickly scheduled a same day appt. The repairman by the name of Stevie was on time & started to work on the unit. He was very professional & explained to me what repairs needed to be made. He was at my home several hours & had to return the next day with additional parts. He then came with Omar Reyes, the Field Service Manager & together they were able to fix my unit before the freeze hit San Antonio. I was very impressed with my overall experience from the point of contact to completion of the repair.
Timothy was a truly phenomenal technician from the minute he greeted me at the door! He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, creative in troubleshooting and problem-solving and even collaborated with other Zimmermann team members to find a solution to a condensation issue we had with our AC unit. He went above and beyond! I have always been impressed with my experiences with Zimmermann AC but this was next level for sure! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟I would also be remiss not to mention that my office experience was stellar as well with Jessica in her positivity and genuine passion for this company and service and the office manager (I think his name was Justin - sorry if this is the wrong name - he used to be a service technician if that helps with name) calling me back to better understand my issue and working out a way for a technician to get to my house the same morning as my call - excellent customer service all around!I will continue to refer my neighbors and friends to Zimmermann AC for their HVAC needs!
Within hours of calling to have my ac repaired for not cooling. The techs and Office manager James had responded to my call, diagnosed the issue and had my house at a comfortable temperature all within the day. Very professional and courteous, I will be using them again soon and recommending them to my neighbors!
We have used Zimmerman AC for 21 years. We would not ever use anyone else. Zimmerman also takes care several of our family members AC and heating needs. They are a family oriented business, extremely professional and friendly. We always get a quick response when we call. Awesome organization.
I had the unfortunate experience of having my heater quit working on Christmas. I was able to get Zimmerman out here and from start to finish they have been amazing people to work with. Omar was knowledgeable and friendly. He got it running but it was just too old. Jonathan came out and he was very fun to talk to we decided to get the heater replaced. Taylor and Rene came out Monday to put in some insulation into my attic and did an amazing job (they are installing my heater next). Terry was able to find a unit and got that over here same day! Thank you for doing an amazing job each interaction I was left smiling even though the situation was pretty grim.
Ive had Zimmerman AC come for spring/fall maintenance for 3 years. I have been pleased with each technician sent out. Very thorough and professional. They do have recommendations after each visit, but are not pushy is purchasing any upgrade to units. I would love to add the air scrubber which purifies air but havent decided for sure. Give them a call, you will be more than pleased!
Luke and Anthony were fantastic in fixing up my hvac and indoor AC. They were polite, informative, and very honest in discussing what was being done and what will need to be done in the future. Zimmerman is perhaps the only AC company Ive ever done business with where the employees dont feel like theyre trying to scrape an extra dollar from me.Love this company and look forward to doing business with them in the future.
Albert was very polite and knowledgeable. We had many problems that were created by the installer and Albert showed us each problem as he found them. He made sure that all problems were fixed, and I highly recommend you use Zimmerman!6/28/22 We had a problem where we had to call and get the issue resolved quickly and Zimmerman AC came through in a pinch. They even came back the next day to be sure that the fix worked and helped us to understand what was causing the problem and how to resolve it! You guys are the Best! I want to thank Zimmerman air conditioning and heating for going all out to make sure that my home and me and my service dog were taken care of. they called, scheduled me in today. they made sure that this Veteran would not spend another day without air conditioning they knew all that was wrong with my AC... installed the new system...the correct size... made sure I knew how to operate it. Its so good to know that there are caring people out there that are willing and going the extra mile to make sure people are taking care of. Zimmerman did an excellent job in assisting us with our heating issue. Stevie the repairman was very knowledgeable courteous and honest. Other ac companies wanted a maintenance agreement before they would show up (air tron). I highly recommend Zimmerman for your heating and AC needs.
My AC went out last Wednesday. Within 30 minutes of calling the amazing Trey came to my house, did a thorough inspection of my ductwork, AC system, and thermostat and gave me an honest assessment. He guided me through the different systems sold by the company and even managed to get me a special unit that fit my needs better than those normally carried.Today I had an awesome crew that worked tirelessly for 12 hours to get my system installed correctly and cleanly. They fastidiously protected and cleaned their entire workspace, in addition to the flawless install they provided. They did so with a great attitude and radiant smile even though it was toasty in my attic. Taylor, Max and Rene are champs and by far the most pleasant home repair professionals I have worked with.I cant recommend Zimmerman enough - more so since not only were they the most professional of the 5 AC companies that gave me quotes, but they did so at an honest and fair price.
I called today and needed same day service for an AC unit that wasnt cooling. They were able to accommodate my service request and were even able to come 3 hours ahead of schedule which in this heat is AWESOME!!! Omar was my technician he was very courteous, informative, and knowledgeable. He promptly diagnosed the system, went through the unit and made some recommendations. He welcomed me to walk through the inspection and repair work with him. He was very transparent and trustworthy. Omar was our tech for our air conditioner. We are beyond amazed with his professionalism, prompt response time, and knowledge of how our system works. We called around before we found Zimmerman. Every other company we called had long wait times. And August in Texas is hot, so we werent too happy with that. They came out the same day, arrived early, and got our system going again. Called at 10:30am on Saturday and he was here and gone by 12:30pm. Omar took the Nest thermostat off the wall, tested it and tested furnace and got our furnace working again.We have called on them 3 X now and they are always on time, thorough and friendly. Highly recommended!

My HVAC system (fairly new) shut off suddenly and blacked out the thermostat accordingly. I wanted an emergency service done to what I had guessed to be a blocked drain issue. Called Zimmermann services and James prioritized my call for the earliest time the next day. This was very helpful for me and speaks to their responsiveness. The next day, Omar from Zimmermann came by right on time, was very knowledgeable about the system, the issue and went about cleaning and identifying the cause. One of the main causes was also the intake air path was blocked by some temporary material due to a paint job. He went further to add an extra pipe to the external drain to divert the water from the AC unit. All of this completed in less than an hour with a discount on top made it a great customer experience. I will heartily recommend Zimmermann for any AC work and their response especially in an emergency! Thanks, guys!!

Called Zimmermann to assist with furnace. Given the current weather situation many other organizations stated they couldn’t make it. Zimmermann sent over Omar and was very quick and efficient and was able to resolve the issue in less than an hour. Will definitely be utilizing their services.

I needed a new 14 Steer Unit. Called 2 different companies for estimates. 1 company came out and gave me an estimate, but would not return my calls with additional questions I wanted to ask. The other one did not return my call. I called Zimmerman and received excellent service from day one. Trey came by and walked me through everything I needed to know, plus I received a great price for a new unit. On 8/10/2021, Taylor, Edward and Max did the installation. These young gentlemen did a excellent job!! They worked for 8.5 hours, stopping only for breaks and lunch. It was hot inside and out of the home. I was so impressed. Wow! Great company! I am totally satisfied. Company like Zimmerman are rare these days. They deliver everything I wanted and needed. Thank you again for excellent service!!

We recently had a wonderful experience with the team at Zimmermann. Our initial call was for service on our 18 year old compressor. Trey arrived on time and was very thorough in his work. When we made the decision to replace the system, he walked us through every detail and made sure all of our questions were answered.On installation day Taylor arrived on time and did a great job taking out the old system and installing the new one. He answered all of our questions and made sure we knew how to operate the system before he left. They even went above and beyond by fixing the drainage line outside.Weve been customers of Zimmermann for years, and this kind of service is why. They do great work and their employees are wonderful.

Omar Reyes was on time, very friendly, professional and gave me exceptional information and service for my HVAC! I signed a maintenance contract because the service, the actual installation of a condesate pump and he is a great communicator - explains things in laymen terms so I could completely understand what he was doing and what was accomplished. Excellent and courteous service! Very punctual and informative. I’ve been looking for a company I can trust for my AC/Furnace service and Zimmerman AC was recommended by my neighbor. Of course my 1994 furnace would start acting up during the coldest time in San Antonio! Jonathan, the technician, came out and recommended a part that needed replacing. Parts and labor were reasonable. Best yet was he left the heater running!
After spending most of the day out and about, we came home to a very hot house. We called several companies for repair and the earliest appointment we could get was next day by noon. We had family with a baby visiting and needed it sooner. What a relief when Luke from Zimmermann answered the phone late Sunday afternoon and scheduled his technician, Trey, to be out within a few hours. Trey was knowledgeable and efficient and our A/C was working again in no time. He gave options for repair, explained everything and answered all our questions.

So I have been with a JW A/C company since Jan 2016; paying for annual maintenance and service. In Aug I had no A/C and a rep came out to trouble shoot. I told him the unit would be running, then it would just shut off, a few hours later it would come back on. His answer was that I needed to add Freon but also that my unit was over 20 yrs. old (which I knew) and that the Freon would be about $200 a lb and it would prob need 3 pounds, replacing would be best. I knew my unit was nearing the end and I needed a new one but was not financially ready to replace it that day/week, I just needed cold air. The JW AC guy quoted me $9k to install a 14seer HVAC unit. I couldnt afford that much. I needed to find an affordable company. The next day, with still no air in the house I called Zimmerman AC on Mainland Dr. They sent a rep out immediately that day, to give me a quote. Upon looking at my unit the first thing he (Trey) said was, the line must be clogged because the floor under my unit was soaking wet, that’s why it kept shutting off. My first thought was that the service person from JW A/C Company should have seen the water, trouble shot my prob and fixed it; instead he focused on selling me a new unit. I was really frustrated and felt taken advantage of; I had been paying for a service for 5+ yrs and felt that their rep didn’t care an ounce about me as a customer. He would have had to see the water also and know that it meant the line was clogged. But his focus was to sell me a unit. As a customer at the very least he should have ensured my lines were open.So, Trey from Zimmerman AC told me how I could unclog the line or they would be willing to for a service fee, which was only fair but since I had a service agreement with JW I didn’t want to pay again. Anyway I was able to unclog it myself and my air came back on. Trey quoted me a price for a HVAC unit that was a couple thousand less than JW A/C AND included a box thing I needed. The JW rep wanted to charge me an additional $600 (part of the 9k) for this box that was necessary for airflow (I’m not techy). So I scheduled the install for Oct 28 with Zimmerman A/C. On the appointment day (today) James arrived as scheduled and everything went incredibly smooth. I am still amazed. The team was efficient, cleaned up after themselves and left my home looking like they’d never been there. The whole team was professional and pleasant. I dealt with James mostly and he explained everything to me and honestly I couldn’t be more satisfied. I never write reviews like this but when it’s so difficult to find trustworthy companies with personnel who function with integrity over focusing on the $$$$ I just felt I needed to share this information. Honestly, if you need an HVAC system, or just AC service I would highly recommend calling Zimmerman AC. You’ll be glad you did.
Jonathan performed the most extensive maintenance we have ever had on any unit in any house. I felt very confident that he checked everything that could break and then blew out the drain lines to make sure there were no clogs. I would recommend Zimmerman without any reservations!

I want to start by saying that NO ONE asked me to leave a review. We had many “big” companies come out and quote us but always asked for a huge favor at the end...to leave a review.This was not it. I called them Monday morning and by noon, I had Jon at my house: such an awesome experience!He was honest and transparent. 100° day (Labor Day weekend) and my HVAC unit decided that it was done. I called Zimmerman and they had a technician at my home within a couple of hours. He was able to get my 21 year old system back up and running. I would definitely recommend using this company.

Wow! I woke up Saturday morning to my AC not cooling and not only did I get a same day appointment but they were at my house within 45 minutes of me scheduling the call. I had to replace my old hvac system suddenly last week and Zimmerman was suggested to me. Omar came over the very next day, tried really hard to get the old one working again, but it was hopeless. (This was Friday.) Omar worked to get me the best price and then scheduled a new system installation on Monday. However, I was still stuck in a house with no ac for several days, so he arranged to have a portable unit brought to me for use until my new system could be installed!! Wow! Got several bids from different companies around town that had lots of great reviews but Zimmerman was the only company to send out actual technicians instead of salesmen. They were also the only company to go up to the roof where our AC unit is for the initial estimate.James and Max did a great job installing a new AC and furnace. Its much quieter than the old setup, and the end result looks like it was installed by professionals, not joe shmoe handyman. Unit has been running great since it was installed a month ago, and I have a nice and cool house.

Taylor, James, and Michael did my install last week for my full HVAC system, 100% new ductwork, all new blown-in insulation, and installed my new aluminum attic ladder. I absolutely will be referring everyone that I know to Zimmerman for any heat, AC, duct, etc., needs that they have.I went overboard and got 9 quotes for systems. It was easy to realize that most of the other companies in San Antonio were trying to make a big payday on the install of our new system.Throughout the whole estimate process Trey was very professional, not pushy at all, and was very accommodating. I was really please when I decided to choose Zimmerman for the job and I got to work with Michael, the install manager. Michael, Taylor, and James, we’re very professional, worked hard, and kept me informed the whole time. If I ever have to do this again in a future home, I won’t be calling other companies for estimates, I will just call Zimmerman and get the instal scheduled because they went above and beyond throughout the whole process.

Our AC stopped cooling in the early morning of Memorial Day. We gave Zimmerman Services a call and they were able to come out same day and repair our AC very quickly. The technician, Albert, was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Also, Id like to note that the lady who set our appointment over the phone was super sweet, which made me feel like we had definitely chosen the right company. I would recommend them and plan on using them again in future!

I have happily used Zimmerman’s AC in a commercial capacity for many years and on Sunday night, the AC in my house was having issues. We called And talked to Terry, who actually walked us through an easy fix (just a fuse) and didn’t charge us a dime for his time or come out and charge us tons of money to fix something so simple. This is not my first great experience with Zimmerman’s but it was the first time I needed help with something at my own home and they were just as awesome there as they’ve always been When I needed them in the past. GREAT company, I highly recommend them!
Theyve come to my rescue more times than Id like, but with a 15 year old system they have it running like new every time. They are friendly, responsive, and give you more than just the easiest or most expensive option. Good to work with them.

I have a service contract with this company, so I immediately called when my AC unit started making a crazy noise today at 630pm. It is 800pm and Omar has already come out, diagnosed the problem, replaced the failing motor, we paid, and our AC is back to full noiseless function. So impressed with this service. 5 stars for Omar!
I highly recommend Zimmerman Services!!!I woke up to a warm house one morning and realized the AC fan was blowing, but the compressor was not coming on. I called before 8 a.m. and received a return call shortly after I left the message. I was on the schedule for a technician to arrive before lunch the same day. I received a call from the technician (Carlos) a little before 9 a.m. to let me know he was on the way to my house. He quickly discovered that ants had gotten into the contacts and he had the part required to do the repair in his van. Not only did he make the required repair, he sprayed a couple of wasp nests in the area and gave me a recommendation on how to help prevent this from happening again. Carlos made the repairs, cleaned everything up and was gone by 10:30 a.m. He was very courteous and professional!Fast, friendly service at a very fair price.I will definitely use Zimmermann Services for any and all future AC and heating needs.
This weekend I learned 2 very important lessons about AC service. First, make sure your service company provides weekend and holiday service. Second, dont fear trying a new air-conditioning service thats not known to you. I had contacted my regular AC service on a Sunday when predicted temperatures would be 102 degrees and was told she could not get a service man out to my home on a weekend and the next availability would be Wednesday! This occurred during the first hottest weekend that we had in San Antonio.In a leap of faith after reading their five star reviews I contacted Zimmerman AC and was connected with Luke who was very professional and understanding despite me admitting that I had another AC service that wouldnt come out to my home. He had someone at my home within 3 to 4 hours. By my description Luke already knew what could possibly be wrong with my unit. He did tell me upfront that the weekend diagnostic fee was more than what their usual fee was but I was glad to pay it after the service that I received. Which brings me to Omar, it was like seeing an angel. He was very efficient, professional and courteous. Thankfully my unit was only in need of a new capacitor.Zimmerman now has a new loyal customer. And Ive already given their name and number to several of my friends. All I have to say about my previous AC company is Elmer one hour who....Thank you Luke and Omar!
Signed up with Zimmermann air conditioning for annual maintenance of our home AC units. The process of contracting, scheduling our spring AC check was easy and efficient. Mr James Melton (Service Manager) came over to our house on time, was courteous, professional and seemed to know his job very well. Completed the job to our satisfaction and gave an honest , clear and accurate assessment of our units and suggested some sensible upgrades which we would like to consider in the future. Thorough job well done. One of the few companies that actually walks the talk. Highly recommend them for air-conditioning maintenance.
We have used Zimmermans for years. This was the first time we felt a bit scammed. Our a/c wasnt cooling so, since it was under warranty with Zimmermans, we called them for repair. Initially, the repairman stated that it was a clogged draining pipe, which was draining adequately, but not enough according to repairman. Charge #1. Then while running a system check, they found a capacitor that was the actual problem, not the drainage which was the thought as the original problem. Then guess what? An additional charge to replace the capacitor. They would not credit the initial drainage pipe cleaning charge even though that was not what was the problem to begin with. Needless to say, $500+ later, its hard to not believe that I was scammed. After the warranty is expired on our a/c unit, we will probably be doing business with a more reputable and honest company. With our experience, we will and encourage our neighbors to avoid this company at all cost....
Eric from Zimmermann AC was well knowledgeable about the repairs that needed to be done and he recommended a plumber first to unplug drain pipes. Another AC company came before and said a plumber was needed to unplug the drain pipes, but they never diagnosed the actual AC problem. I was very happy with the professionalism and great service Erick provided during his visit. No doubt I will use Zimmermann again!
The team (Luke & Jonathan ) were quick to coordinate and help us within an hour of my initial appointment request late in the evening . Albert came out first thing on Monday morning to troubleshoot the frozen central air unit. I’d called on Sunday evening so that was a quick response. I appreciate that I was able to speak to a scheduler and did not have to wait until the next business day for a return call. Trey was the technician that came by, he was a AWESOME- 💯 professional. He started working on figuring out the problem as soon as he got here. He was great, explained the situation in detail and provided various options for us to resolve the ac issue. He was quick, efficient, polite, professional. He fixed our problem the same day! We thought we needed a new unit since it was a 1997 ac but it just needed a flushing of the drain pipe - and now it’s cool!! He did offer options for the future if we are ever interested in a new one but he did a great honest job without trying to upsell us on a new unit now when ours was an easy fix. I highly recommend this company- especially if they all are great workers like Trey! Honesty will keep my business and I’ll definitely be calling them when I need a new unit. A+
Contacted Terry from Zimmerman’s on Sunday morning on Labor Day weekend. I received a call back within a few minutes. The service I received was excellent. Having had my A/C go out before, I expected an immediate $100 service fee. I was truly surprised when Terry asked me to check a few things before he came out and had me check to make sure it wasn’t just the breaker - no other service company has ever done this! As I need a new system (and have known this day was coming for a while), Terry offered to bring over two portable units so that I could survive in my house until Tuesday. This is truly going above and beyond for customers and I highly recommend him and his team for your A/C needs.
Our AC went out today, and we called Zimmerman and could not be more pleased with their service. Came over in a timely manner, explained the problem and different things they could do and helped us to make the best decision. We will surely be using them in the future and recommending them whenever possible.

Omar was very professional and knowledgeable. I had an issue of accumulating condensation which caused the switch to shut the unit off. He made sure to diagnose the issue thoroughly and explained his thought process throughout. Recommended basic maintenance to resolve a clogged drain issue and got the system up and running. Fantastic reliable and honest service! First met them at the Home and Garden Show (awesome specials btw) and recently called them for help after 3 days of unable to get my AC working . Hubby had already had some other company Available sooner come out to diagnose, everything they said seemed off, Ex: explanations of how certain things work etc and quoted 4K with no other solution. These guys came in and quickly gave the best quote, while providing more as a part of the package. While my AC was broken and I had a few days before the installation could begin, they were nice enough to install window units throughout the house, to keep it nice and cool. On the day of the installation it started to rain and I was worried that the event will have to be delayed. These guys worked in the rain, to get me going. Installation took less time than it was scheduled for. All of the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.This is also a small business, so supporting them in these times is crucial. Recently needed a new unit and new duct work done. Had the pleasure of meeting James who has been from day 1 very polite and professional. The crew that came to the house were also very good. They showed up on time and were quick to work. I cant think of any negatives to point at. And the company has been responsive with help even after installation. With that being said if youre in the market for a new unit or duct work. The Zimmerman Company does deserve the chance to come by to your home and sit with you to help with you ac needs. I have used Zimmerman exclusively for several years and they have always been very responsive and great to work with. I am so very thankful for the informative discussion and education that I received from Omar in regards to my current A/C unit and safety for my home and most importantly of all, my Family. Our AC went out at 0130 on a day with a projected high of 111. Their after hours folks responded to my request very quickly and then let me decide to have the regular shift work instead of treating it like an emergency. (And probably being more expensive.)The staff called me back by 0800 and we were able to get on their schedule for 1200-1400 the same day.The service technician called me by 1300 and said he’d be to the house in 30 minutes. I couldn’t get out of work to be home, but my mom was at the house and she said he was very polite. He called me and let me know what he identified as the issue and what the cost would be.It was comparably priced to other quotes I looked up.We would definitely recommend them to others. If we have AC issues in the future, I won’t have to search for a place. We will just go directly to Zimmerman.
This is the first time that I have used Zimmerman Services, but it wont be the last. There service is phenomenal. I phoned their office before 7:00am this morning. I had expected to speak with an answering service but was surprised to learn I was speaking with Luke, the owner. Their technician, Omar, knocked on my door at 9:00am and had our a/c blowing cold air within 30 minutes. Their prices seem reasonable, too. I spent $368 for parts and labor combined. If you have an a/c issue, give them a call.
They have impressed me. Tried them some years ago, but left. Last year, I had an emergency at my Mothers- In - Law house. Called another company that gave me an expensive estimate. I remembered about Zimmerman.I called them and less than 40 minutes they arrived. They not only gave me a fair estimate, but didnt change parts of the air conditioning the other company told me about and was charging for, but also detected other issues, and they offered to fix them during that call.I purchased the maintenance plan then and her air conditioning has worked wonderfully.Today, my air conditioning is not working. I called them, and once again, in less than an hour, the technician is arriving (on a Saturday), and they are helping me with solutions and making my life easier.Im REALLY impressed with their improvements. Keep going. Im happy to refer you. No other company on the kind of service you provide has helped me and deliver in an outstanding way.
Excellent customer service and attention to detail. I was concerned about a water leak and wanted to rule out the air conditioning unit. I called Zimmerman on a Monday afternoon; they were able to send a service technician the next morning at 9 a.m. As it turned out, the a/c unit was not the problem. The service technician showed me that the space under the unit was completely dry and he also demonstrated to me that the emergency shut-off was functioning properly. I will definitely use them in the future.
Omar came out to give us a quote on upgrading our system. He was so professional and helpful. Provides straight forward pricing and no hard sales tactics. He was great and although we are saving for a new system and did not pull the trigger yet, they will be the first company we call. Thank you Omar!
UPDATE 04/23/19: We just had our annual check up and had an older secondary unit at the house cleaned and serviced. Omar was the technician that came out for the work. He was very patient and explained what he was doing at each step along the way. I appreciated him showing me what he was doing and not getting annoyed with all my questions. Thanks again for all your great work!Original Review:I was referred to Zimmermann Services by a coworker. I was having issues with my Furnace not staying lit and continuing to turn off and on. Our furnace is 24 years old so I know it has limited life left in it but we wanted to get things back up and running if possible to avoid having to replace our furnace altogether. After a bit of troubleshooting we were able to get it back up and running. Terry Wallace was doing his best to get it fixed like it was his own homes unit. I appreciated his efforts and not going directly to suggesting a new unit. He did provide us a quote and compared to other companies it was better equipment for a lower cost. Eventually we know we will need to replace our AC system and when we do I am giving Zimmermann Services and Terry Wallace a call. Thanks for your help this past week.-Mike T.

Great service! Had to have my complete HVAC system replaced and was politely walked through the selection process with Terry, who was very knowledgeable and patient answering all my questions. We had polite, courteous and knowledgeable team of guys that came to do the install. Through each stage of the install Justin kept me informed on their progress until it was complete. A popped transformer caused a power surge that completely fried our electrical components in our AC. James M., the service manager, came to our house on a Saturday afternoon, spent several hours testing and attempting to repair what he could. He then followed up promptly on Monday and Tuesday with new electrical components and by mid day Tuesday, our AC unit was rebuilt with all new components. He was honest about the outlook of our unit and hopes of a repair. The best part is that our AC has properly installed higher quality components than what we bought the house with. I’m very pleased with his service, and I strongly recommend you utilize this company for your future heating and cooling issues.
Zimmerman A/C is AWESOME! Weve been with them for at least 2 years and the service they provide keeps getting better!!! I personally met the owner when I sold insurance and saw first hand his passion for his family business. The technicians, especially Albert Gonzales, are top notch. After contacting the main office yesterday afternoon he was in my house in less than 24 hours servicing our system. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this family owned business to ALL San Antonians! My Central unit went out and I needed a fix asap. I called Zimmerman a little before 4pm and by 4:15 someone was at my door. From the initial call to the last step, it was a great experience. They did same day repair and at a reasonable cost. Thank you so much to Eric for being very professional and punctual, I would definitely recommend them to everyone!
James at Zimmerman was so helpful! Our AC went out in the evening and he spoke with me on the phone about what the issues could be, then had the office call me first thing in the morning to schedule a service call. He was incredibly thorough and checked every possible cause, and had our ac up and running again in less than an hour. I cannot recommend their service more highly!
We are very pleased with choosing Zimmerman A/C for our a/c needs. We had to have our old system replaced and everyone we dealt with at Zimmerman were all very professional and very nice. They even had portable cooling units we could have used if we had needed them during the day while the unit was changed out. The guys arrived on time and finished on time. It was over 90 degrees that day and the Omar spent most of the day in the attic which I know was very hot. He still had a smile on his face at the end of the day. Michael was the other installer and explained everything about the new thermostat to us and answered all of our other questions. Austin was also in and out making sure everything was going well, which it was. The system runs great and is so quiet you have to look in the top of the compressor unit to make sure the fan is running. It cools the house well and am looking forward to lower electric bills. Luke was our initial contact and answered all of our questions thoroughly so we knew we were choosing the correct system for our needs. I feel everyone went above and beyond in customer service which is greatly appreciated. They will continue to be our a/c service company. Thank you to everyone at Zimmerman!!

Zimmermann went above and beyond in replacing our current Air Conditioning system. Terry guided us in the right direction and made sure we had what we needed for a new system. The installation crew; Taylor, James and Michael were professional and very knowledgeable and took their time to explain and walk us through the system. They now have a customer for life!
My home ac was going on off on off but mostly off and not cooling. Another ac company came by 3 times and after $1600 nothing was fixed. I called Zimmerman and the next day Omar came by and instantly diagnosed the problem of water backing up and not draining. He even showed me why the water was backed up. He really knows what he is doing and can explain the issue and repairs needed in a way that is easy to understand. I waited several days to post a review because I wanted to make sure it was fixed. I would definitely recommend Zimmerman A/C.
Steven Leon was our technician. He did an amazing job, was on time, and solved our AC problems. He explained everything that was wrong in a way we could understand and talked about multiple avenues of repair. I will definitely be using them in the future.
I decided to try a local heating and A/C company since the one that I had previously used was no longer in business. After a quick Google review I found Zimmermann Services down the street from my house. Omar, my tech called prior to the schedule time to let me know that he was on his way. He arrived on time and proceeded to explain to me in detail what he was doing with my 2 A/C units. He was unable to get 1 unit to run after several attempts he called his supervisor to assist. Several attempts were made to get the unit to turn on, but all attempts failed. Rather than spend hundreds of dollars replacing parts and be unsure if the unit would survive another SA summer, I decided to purchase a new system for peace of mind. We discussed prices and a decision was made to have an installed done that weekend. The installers arrived on time as schedule and proceeded to install the unit during a heavy rain storm. Everything went well and they cleaned up after themselves. The San Antonio Inspector came and reviewed the work and unfortunately failed the inspection due to location of the vent pipe. My installer Mike came back out made the correction without any problems. The re-inspection went well and inspector find no other deficiencies. Other than that my customer experience went well with Zimmermann A/C. I do have one recommendation. Price for services and work to be performed should be written down and agreed to by both parties prior to performing work so that once work is completed there is no confusion on how much is owe or form of payment. I would recommend and hire again.
I had just returned from being out of the country to find one side of my house had flooded. I called Zimmerman AC looking for a plumber and air conditioner company they provided me with an excellent plumbing company Quest plumbing that responded quickly and very courteous.Then I called Zimmerman AC to come check my units and duct work near affected flooding and they promptly sent Albert Gonzales and he was very efficient, informative & courteous. Cannot thank Zimmerman HVAC enough! Yesterday our AC stopped working so my wife and I slept in our sweat. We called a “reputable” AC company here in San Antonio and was promised next day service from 2-6. At 5 pm we were notified that their technician was on another difficult job and would not be able to see us. Their next available time slot wasn’t until 2 days after. I was very frustrated and used my good friend Google and found Zimmerman. I called and spoke with Luke and he immediately triaged out to one of his technicians. 90 minutes later, Eric Lopez was at my front door. Eric was personable, knowledgeable and was able to locate the issue within 20 mins. I was so impressed with his skill level that I decided to sign up for the service plan they offer. I would recommend this company to all of my friends and family. They did an exceptional job and now have a customer for life. Thank you!
Unbelievable service from Zimmermann. We had issues with a unit installed from a different company and called them for a second opinion. The owner, Terry, came out within an hour on a Friday night. He refused to take any money from us and gave us advice to address issues to with the installer. I found the installer from a friend and deeply regret it. I wish I wouldve went with a professional company like Zimmerman from the get-go. It wouldve saved us from having to replace all of our floors due to incorrect installation and the resulting flooding caused by the installer forgetting to install a drain plug. I cannot give enough praise to Zimmerman. The fact that the owner came out on a Friday night shows the companys dedication to quality service. I would give more stars if I could.
Zimmermann AC is the BEST company I have ever had the pleasure of having come fix my unit. We had just purchased a new thermostat, and during the process of installing it something went wrong. We called several places before calling Terry with Zimmermann and after spending some time on the phone with my husband he came out and installed our new thermostat and fixed everything super fast, and super friendly. I will never use anyone else, and will recommend this company to anyone!

After several companies giving us a quote for a new HVAC system Zimmermann was by far the best deal when comparing price, service, and quality. Albert came to give us an estimate and was thorough and informative. We went ahead and scheduled a full replacement, Albert called the night before to see if we had any questions and followed up after the install to be sure we were satisfied. He even brought us filters the next day for our new unit. Luke did our install and was professional and knowledgeable. It can be uncomfortable having strangers in your home doing work all day but I was completely comfortable having him there. We are very satisfied with the service and product we received with Zimmerman.
First and foremost, when I say that this company has exceeded my expectations that is huge as I have very high expectations when it comes to customer service and business.From the initial contact, Luke was very professional and patient. I was driving in from out of town with a toddler and was told my A/C went out prior to my arrival home. Luke made sure that I had a technician at my home by the time I arrived.James was the individual who arrived at my home. I believe he is actually the Service Manager. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about James. He was kind, patient, explained what he was doing to try and diagnose the problem, and even broke down his diagnosis with real-life examples to help us understand the issues with the compressor and evaporator coils in our A/C unit. We ultimately needed to get a brand new unit as ours was well over 10 years old, but even giving us this news we werent mad. James helped us by explaining ALL of our options and did give recommendations. At no point did we ever feel pressured or forced to make a decision. James made sure we received 3 portable stand up A/C units to ensure we had some sort of cooling until our new unit was installed. What really stood out about James was that he seemed to genuinely care about the job he was doing and the people he was serving. I told him a negative story about an A/C company we had come out to our home a month prior and his response was well, while that was not our company, we want to make sure that we make this right. We want to show our customers that there are good A/C companies out there that care about the customer. James also had a trainee (i dont recall his name) with him when he installed the portable units and even he was polite and respectful, even said yes, maam in response to questions!The next interaction I had was with Michael and another young man (I did not catch his name), both men were professional and polite. I directed them to where the existing units were at and Michael informed me of what he would be doing and I left them both to do their job while I attended online schooling. They even taped cardboard down on the floors to protect them and even vacuumed the floors when they were done. They even completed the job ahead of schedule and Michael walked me through explaining the new units both inside and outside and the new thermostat. We did have a freak accident where the breaker shut off the system that same night, I made a call and not only did Terry, the representative who answered my call assure me they would take care of it, Luke even called to follow up! Mind you this was like at 9:30 pm, within 30-40 minutes, guess who showed up, Michael!! The same person who actually did the install, what a relief this was as he would have been the only one who knew what he did and could correct it. He figured it out and corrected it.Today is the second full day with the new system and I even received a follow-up call from James and he was aware of the small issue we had with the system last night. Clearly this shows their communication within the company is very effective. What i love about this company is that their communication with the customer doesnt stop once the job is handed off to the installer. They continued to reach out to me to ensure I was happy and to make sure everything was working great. This company just wants to make sure they are doing it right. James and Michael repeatedly said if you need anything or have any questions, please call or text, you have my number. Its genuine and that makes a difference between this company and the next. Omar came out to diagnose an issue with our old unit which had stopped working due to a tripped breaker from thunderstorms. Instead of just flipping the breaker and leaving, he thoroughly inspected the unit for defects. He found a few outdated and corroded parts that needed to be replaced. He made sure to inform and show me what the issues were and what needed to be done to ensure that our unit would run efficiently. He also showed and explained what each part does in the system and gave an honest assessment of the quality of the parts that he was going to install. He wasn’t trying to install cheap equipment for marked up prices. He was professional, punctual to the appointment, performed the services quickly at a high quality, and was very informative. This is everything I’m looking for with a local family owned company. We will be long time customers for sure. I HIGHLY recommend hiring this company for HVAC services. We had a total of four AC companies come to our home to offer recommendations and estimates for replacing our AC units. Our friend and neighbor, Dave Wright, recommended Zimmermann Air Conditioning and Heating, and we are so glad he did because Zimmermann AC and Heating was-BY FAR-the most professional and affordable AC company. They offer top-of-the-line equipment built in America, but they do NOT charge an arm and a leg for it. Luke came to our home to present different options. He was very prepared and had several packages to offer us. He created a comprehensive folder that clearly laid out the different options offered and what each would cost. There were no questions left unanswered. Luke took his time and explained everything which was of great comfort to us. The team that completed the equipment installation was very professional with the work re-inspected by the owner. We have not experienced such a professional and honest small business like this before. We highly recommend Zimmermann Air Conditioning and Heating if you are looking for peace of mind that won’t break the bank!

Today their service rep Peter came to look at our heater. He called before coming and arrived within 15 minutes of the scheduled time. He had our heater up and running very quickly. We recently returned from an out of town trip to discover that our a/c had quit working while we were gone and it was 91 degrees inside the house. We called Zimmerman after a friend recommended them and were most pleased by their quick response to our needs and then to the great overall attitude and friendliness of the technician that came out. I have used Zimmermans for more than 13 years for the first house we lived in and now for our current home. I can not say enough good things about my experiences with Zimmermans AC and Heating. They had to replace the A/C in the first house we lived in ( it was 12 +years old) and they did an outstanding job and for a good price. When we sold that house the inspector commented on how well the A/C unit was installed. They have fixed the problems with the A/C and heater in our current home and have been maintaining it for the last 5 years. They are professional, perfectionists with their work, honest, trustworthy, expert and they perform the work for a good price and they are always friendly and explain everything very well and show you the issues and work so you are clear on what is being done. We work with Albert and he is wonderful!February 2020 and another great service call from Zimmerman heating and cooling! Today Peter came by for my twice a year maintenance visit of the heating/ AC. He not only efficiently and effectively checked both heating systems, he went above and beyond to notice and point out to me raccoon droppings and raccoon paths in the insulation. Yikes and thank you!! We had had problems before but thought they were resolved and this was all new activity. Since I had a strobe light and boom box to help deter the raccoons, he placed the light and boom box in the attic in strategic spots for me and even checked the attic space behind a closet not near the AC and heat units and let me borrow his headlight to look around. Now that is extra care and outstanding customer service! Not only was Pete professional he was friendly and extra helpful! Obviously my critter problem is not a problem Peter and Zimmerman can fix but Pete did everything he could to help deter the critters until I can get someone out. Thank you Pete for the great HVAC maintenance and critter detective and deterrent work! I can’t say enough good things about Zimmerman all my years of experience with them and all their professionals has been positive in all respects and beyond! I have a 14 year old system that they have kept running for me with minor repairs and maintenance. A less ethical, less professional company would have found a reason to make sure I had to replace some or all of the system with them, we have all heard that happening. I can trust everyone at Zimmerman, I am so grateful. Thank you!
We had an issue with our air conditioner leaking and had Albert as our technician. He was very professional and nice throughout the entire visit. He made sure to give us all of our options and wasnt trying to sell us a new unit when we didnt need one, which is very much appreciated. He finished the job in a timely manner and with high quality work. He gave me instructions on how I can maintain the system to industry standard in the long-term. We will definitely be using Zimmermann in the future for all of our AC needs. Great experience overall.

Our A/C went out the first week this year when Texas weather was predicted to be in the 100s every day this week. We were sweating and waking up all through the night because of how hot it was. Zimmerman A/C was able to schedule us for an appointment the morning after I had called them. Their phone agents are so friendly and helped to answer all of the questions I had for them. They called exactly when they said they would, were right on time, and quickly diagnosed the problem to be the motor of our external unit. They were able to find the issue, get the part they needed, repair the unit, and get our A/C working again all in the same day. Im so excited to be able to use my blanket when I go to bed tonight and seriously cant thank Zimmerman A/C enough for all that they did. They will always be my first choice when it comes to A/C and heating repairs.
Prior to installation of ac Zimmermann set up a portable ac for me. As I am a senior with health issues, I was very pleased. I knew I didn’t want to deal with any of the big ac companies. They were friendly, competent, and Impressed me for the respect I was afforded. I will proudly recommend Zimmermann without hesitation to my family and neighbors.
Zimmermann Service’s did an OUTSTANDING job with our service check up! Amy was so wonderful on the phone with scheduling and giving me the best possible price. We have been Customers of Zimmerman for many years for maintenance and service of our heating & AC system (which was over 20 years old). Albert Gonzales has been our technician most of the time. He is always clean, neat, prompt, courteous, and professional. He is always happy to answer all our questions. We recently decided to replace our old system. Albert gave us an estimate & install date plus an estimate for some additional insulation. Our unit was installed on 11/20/18. The install team; Mike, Chris, & Ray were super. They arrived promptly at 8:00 am and by 4:30 pm they were completely finished. They cleaned up after themselves to include vacuuming the entrance & hallway. I would recommend Zimmermann for all your ac/ heating needs.

Being a first time homeowner it’s not always easy to get the right company on the first try. When my call was Answered by Amy, I immediately felt at ease. She truly understood my situation and was so empathetic that she went above and beyond to get someone out to my home almost immediately. 2022-06-08When our A/C suddenly stopped working on a 100 degree day after work we needed after hours help fast. I was lucky to find Zimmerman because in under 1 hour our repairman arrived. We ended up needing a new capacitor which was replaced. Prices were transparent and our repairman was honest about what we needed. No pressure sales. Both the service and our interactions with our repairman were professional, friendly, and very pleasant. We also purchased the service plan and are very happy. Thank you. I definitely recommend their business.

2022-06-08Before choosing Zimmermann I received several quotes. However, after speaking with Trey and the recommendations from friends we knew whom we should choose.I was very impressed with the install crew. They were extremely courteous and respectful of the property. They always made time during the install to answer any questions or concerns I had even though we had quite a complex install.The support I have received after the sale has been excellent. Their team is quick to respond and that has been a load off my mind.

2022-05-22Had a third party come from Best Buy to install new thermostat and they ended up blowing the ac an thermostat. Zimmerman was able to send out the same afternoon, on a Saturday. Omar was very friendly and professional. He diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly. He then spent several minutes explaining the features of our thermostat and preventative maintenance. House was cool and wife was happy. Thank you!

2022-04-29First we were impressed with the Zimmermann sales person; he seemed knowledgeable but also down to earth and fair, willing to work with us a little on price which is more than other companies would or could ever do probably due to their strict corporate structure. Most importantly though, the Zimmermann price for the system we ended up purchasing was literally thousands less than other companies but for a far superior unit! Something that just doesn’t happen much these days.We know that Zimmermann is a strong family-owned company. This was evident once the installation crew started working. They were professional but also kind and considerate. They went out of their way to honor a request we had about one of the pipes, something we know big corporate companies would not be able to honor. We know because we had a system from a big corporation prior to Zimmermann and that company ran in a rigid and robotic way.The Zimmermann crew was a pleasure to deal with during the installation. Taylor, the lead crew member, was absolutely fantastic! So enthusiastic, very knowledgeable, and appreciative.And of course, the new system works perfectly, we’re very happy with it and with Zimmermann; the kind of company we all wish for these days.We would recommend Zimmermann sales, products, and employees to anyone looking for the best HVAC systems (American Standard is a brand we trust!) in San Antonio.

2022-07-06I got home from work to a non working a/c. The system was installed just 15 months ago, so something had to be wrong. Called the phone number even though Google said they were closed and lo & behold, someone picked up and about 30 minutes later, Timothy showed up at almost 9pm and took the time to figure out what was going on. Almost two hours to troubleshoot and repair. Probably the best customer service I could have hoped for. In the heat and dark, he was determined to get the job done. Truly a testament to old school customer service and commitment to getting the job done. For such a young man, really a diamond in the rough. Great hire Zimmerman and thank you for picking up the phone after hours! I had been up since 330am after taking my wife to the airport and a full days work. Now I can sleep in cool comfortable peace!!! I can see why your reviews are as high as they are. Tim, you are the man!! Thank you sir!!

2022-03-26Bar none The Best. Just happened to see the Zimmerman van when one of my tenants needed emergency service. In every aspect they took my sense of urgency as serious as if it were their own issue and the responsiveness from the Office folks to the Techs, never waned. The professionalism, communication, attention to detail and right pricing stood out. As a real estate investor experienced with various local companies, Zimmerman is the best. No one else comes close for my properties. Do yourself a favor, youll be glad you chose Zimmerman AC.

2022-05-16Quick response to an inoperable AC. Scheduled a time for repair and then called with an opening to come well in front of scheduled time because they had an opening. Stevie came for repair. Stevie was knowledgeable, kind, honest and repaired exactly what we needed in under an hour without any crazy upselling I have experienced with other AC companies. Great communication. Reliable. Honest. I am a realtor and have used Zimmerman several times for listings. Will continue to use personally for my own home.
